This place is great. It is busy, which says a lot... People want to go there because its good. The only downside was it was a longer wait than I expected since this was my first time going, but it is well worth the wait. The staff is working hard to make these tasty creations and they did a fantastic job. I will definitely be going back.
So we found out about Choco Mania Cafe by watching Dani’s videos, and sure enough when we went to visit he was working there! He was instantly kind when we spoke to him and made perfectly rolled ice cream. So delicious and my husband and I will be returning customers.Thank you Dani and Choco Mania Cafe!

A kind guy named Dani I helped a dog who walked into the store and was pregnant. The kind dude helped it give birth and fed them rolled ice cream!! He is amazing. This is why we still have faith in humanity😌Also he named them: Rollin, Apricot, Lemon, and Scraper! Awesome job Dani
Amazing!! this super nice guy named dani made me 400 rolls of ice cream, all perfect, obviously. i ate all of them in 5 minutes and almost died of brain freeze but dani dumped boiling water in my ears and it went away! overall, great experience. 10/10, would recommend!
Really busy place and they make some good looking sundaes. They got a really pretty girl working on the line that was very friendly too, which is a plus. Be prepared to wait as it seems to be the hot spot in Sterling Heights. Just found out about this place tonight.
I have been to this place twice with my wife and my friends. Both the time, all the orders were bang on with the taste and presentation. Must go to place if you want to try some cool desserts, milkshakes, beverages etc.They have a wide variety to choose from.The star of the order was Ferrero Rocher Shake.
So happy to finally come here. There are so many options to choose from I think my friend and I stood there for about 15 minutes before finally deciding. They also have obscure drinks and candies from other countries. I got the Choco Mania sundae and he got the Tutti Frutti. The staff was super nice and the place was very clean. This place was awesome! I was walking down the road one day and I came across a pack of wild coyotes when one of your employees (I think his name was Dani or something like that) came and saved me by flying in the air and crushing the coyotes! Then he invited me inside for some perfect rolls to calm me down. 10/10 would recommend

This is the best place I’ve ever been to! When I went in I ordered a rolled ice cream and got the most perfect rolls in history! They almost looked fake that’s how perfect they were! And when I tasted them they tasted so good I felt like I was gonna faint I asked who made the ice cream and they said it was some guy named Dani! Then when I went out and was about to leave I saw my car tires were slashed so the guy Dani came out and helped me fix my tires! I went here today and it had this guy rolling ice cream and think his name is Dani or something and he is such a nice guy. I was pregnant and went into labor and he delivered my baby and then made her rolled ice cream and then cut the umbilical cord with his scrapers. Love him❤😉😍
Some lovely young lad named Dani made me a tub of PERFECTLY made rolled ice cream which magically turned me into a monke and me and Dani traversed the beautiful jungle in Madigasca eating our rolled ice cream. Such a wonderful experience would definitely recommend and go back again

I hear about this place all over YouTube, and honestly, it’s not worth the hype. The food is so bland, and it was unbelievably expensive. Dani, was nice enough that he actually served me something that reminded me of poo :) I was pretty angry, and simply asked for another spoon. They flipped out, and told me “that 1 was enough” even though I told them I was sharing. One of the employees were recording (probably for a video) and ignored me completely .Never again. I travelled and road tripped for 4 flippin hours. Mr.Raqoozi, stop and quit your job. Terrible, never going again. I would give 0 stars if I could.
This place was recommended for their ice cream! We went today. They have 5 fruit flavors only and 1 chocolate which was so terrible, small and no flavor! We end up throwing our cones away and go somewhere else. Maybe they are good for food or something but Ice Cream!! We wont go these again

Great place, great people/staff, amazing treats. Definitely recommend everything on their menu. The only thing that would make it better is if they had a separate pick up line for the customers who ordered ahead of time on the phone. This will help with how crowded it always is inside since people will be in and out quickly when their order is already placed/made. Other than that, this is the place to go for dessert! 🍮 🍨 ☕️
Pathetic customer service! Everything looks good until you taste it and it’s mediocre at best, most of the time it’s below average. If something tastes bad or stale the employees will simply tell you to deal with it even though they’re overcharging for everything. Do not give them your business!
Over priced junk food. I thought this was an Arabic place & expected quality products. I paid $5 for achild sized cotton candy ice cream in a cup. We also tried specialty sundae- which left color around my kids mouths. I couldn’t find the ingredients on their website- but I’m certain they use food coloring & a bunch of other junk. No thanks !
Never personaly had it, it looks amazing, the only reason i heard about it was because of Dani razooqi. and he seems like a nice hard working guy it looks nice and the food looks really good, and all i got to say its probably a great experience and keep up the great work.

Manager “I don’t have time for this” Randy.Thank you for the horrific experience at Chico Mania. What started as a quick stop after the gym became a nightmare. My cousin and I got two smoothies and a Crepe at 10PM. Legend has it that we’d have still been waiting if I didn’t ask him about my order at 10:55PM. Randy looks startled and claims that the staff was waiting to make the crepe to give out the order at one time ( I didn’t know your crepe making stand correlated with the blender) although never admitted his mistake of forgetting the order. Every customer after us coincidentally got their orders. After telling Randy to cancel my crepe, he refused. He said they don’t cancel orders because it’s store policy. After numerous back and forth, Randy tells me he doesn’t have time and blatantly disrespects me by ignoring me in my face. Thanks for this experience randy, in front of my family from out of town. You also refused to give your owners email contact information because customer service is blasphemous at your location.TL;DR: Zero customer service, Disrespectful manager Randy, overpriced, extremely long wait times, no accountability of mistake, blames customer
I do not usually write negative reviews but this one is well deserved. I’m anticipating a reply from the illiterate manager/owner (judging by his/her previous replies) to this review with an ad hominem attack which ironically proves how lowsome these people are. Call me naive for expecting this from a coffee shop owner/manager but there is this thing called professionalism and courtesy, you should look into it. Your responses to reviews and this review (I assume) shows that there is no bottom to this barrel, you are an embarrassment.

I was in the shop trying to order some ice cream rolls when suddenly thanos came in and was about to snap his fingers. Fortunately, an employee (he said his name was Dani) suddenly turned into iron man and took down thanos ON HIS OWN. Worst experience ever there was hair in my ice cream and when I asked this man who was recording the ice cream he was making he lashed out because I apparently ruined his TikTok and then after one of the other coworkers asked me what is it I simply told her that I had a piece of hair in my ice cream and asked could you make me another one. 1st time here. If you are going to be open for business you should have a restroom operating. I was going to sit down to have something to eat and drink But change my mind when there wasnt a restroom available. I always avoid the chain coffee shops. I like to give mom and pop shops top priority. I wont be back
The worst customer service ever, the owner/manager is not a business owner material at all… placed my order and told him specifically not to put lemon or banana ice cream flavor in my order and yet he made that mistake know that I told him not to put those two flavors on it, after waiting 35 minutes to get my order he wouldn’t change or fix instead he gave it to another customer and kept arguing with me in front of around 8-10 customers standing in line. Finally he said he’s willing to add another flavor in top of my cup that will make it too big of a cup instead of fixing it or make us wait till he make another one which is probably another half an hour or so.We thanked him and asked to cancel the order he rudely replied and said he’ll refund the money without apologizing or anything. Rude customer service and bad management, I think they should go out of business or sell it.

Please be mindful of the businesses you support. There are so many mom n pop shops that would be grateful to have your business. The owner of this establishment is beyond rude, and notorious for arguing with, and belittling customers. The employees are following right in his footsteps with the awful service. Take a look at the owner replies on other reviews. Always putting the blame on the customer and insisting that bc of the pandemic customers should be satisfied with awful service. Stating customers “need to understand what they’re going through” while claiming they’re understaffed as if it’s impossible to find help during a pandemic, and that’s just not the case. Many people have lost their jobs and people seeking employment is at an all time high. They claim to use the best ingredients, but their lemonade is “great value” from Walmart and the ice cream flavors are lacking.

First of all I was kind of debating whether or not to come here because the ice cream looked delicious in photos, but many reviews said customer service was horrible and boy were they right. The employees weren’t horrible rude, but they seemed tired and like they didn’t want to be there. Also I understand wait times come from popular places so that didn’t bother me, but it was because after I waited for thirty minutes my ice cream had hair in it and my friends ice cream had been handed off to another customer even though it was all in the same order. So then we had to wait more to get it remade because of the incompetence.

Not too crowded, although I was concerned at first because I had to finish my giant drink in store. However they have tape so people dont sit too close, easily accessible hand sanitizer, a blocked off area separating you from the workers, and a bunch of extra masks incase yours gets dirty while eating. The menu is quite pricey but thats only because they give you larger then life servings. They have something for everyone and if you ask you can take the drinks home in a separate cup.
They got attitudes With the customers, over priced but it’s okay if the experience is worth it. They mess up orders and don’t own up to they own mistakes. Drive from Detroit to there for mediocre service
I visited 6-May-2021 at about 6:30p. No good. Only good thing, the imported kinder egg. I hadnt had one in ages. The desserts, in particular the namesake Choco Mania, were terrible. Looked nice, but actually awful. Dry cake. No chocolate flavor left. Just big disappointment after photos and prior reviews. Owell.

I went here with my friend and we both ordered açaí bowls the bowls were yummy but as I was eating I noticed a hair in my bowl and I went back in and told them and they refused to make me another bowl I feel like as a business you should try to accommodate your customers as much as possible to keep business especially with something so petty, I tipped them and I said okay that’s fine but I will never be back because I won’t support that kind of customer service.

Went there with a few friends. They messed up our boba tea order. They forgot one of the items and over charged us. When I asked for the receipt the lady at the register told me I had to wait because she’s busy helping other customers. After I asked for it again the guy behind the counter wanted to be rude and said we’re busy helping others in a loud tone. They have no order inside the shop. I don’t understand how you can go on to another customer when you have another customer waiting for a receipt. Waited outside for a receipt, after It turned out to be 10pm and they were “closed”. Horrible place and overpriced
Went here on Sunday and had a good time. The strawberry banana smoothie and strawberry banana crepe were to die for! Prices are a little steep but I thought the quality made up for it. Service was slow. They seemed to only make one order at a time.
Good ice cream but terrible service, waited probably 30 min for one rolled ice cream only for them to hand it off to the wrong customer and when they gave it back tried giving it to me after it had been sitting and touched by someone else who wasn’t a worker and when I asked nicely they tried making excuses saying it’s fine. Any other restaurant wouldn’t have argued or made excuses let alone made the mistake of giving it to the wrong person. If no other restaurants find it acceptable to hand the food to the wrong person then not remake it for the right person why wouldn’t they? Then they took another 15-20 min to remake it and only to complain to their coworkers I asked it o be remade. We’re in the middle of a pandemic. What a shame.Very unprofessional and is denying MY experience, but is saying they’re not denying it? What happened to the customers always right? Not sure why he is so obsessed with arguing back to customer reviews when these reviews are very repetitive. You think he would take this criticism and make some changes to their customer service but instead will deny and belittle anyone who gives them an honest review. The denial is real lol.
This place is amazing, i order rolled ice cream from a guy named Dani i think..I GOT PERFECT ROLLS!! A ton of toppings and it just looked sooo good. But then when i was leaving i i ended up tripping and ruining all my perfect rolls. But then Dani came and helped me get up and and helped me clean up all my perfect rolls and everything! One of my coworkers recommended this place to me. Later that night, I was talking to my brother after we had dinner, and we were still hungry and were craving something sweet. I suggested let us try this new place out. He was game for it.Their menu offers many options like crêpes, macarons, and other sweets. We decided on the rolled ice cream. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake, and he ordered the Kinder Chocolate along with a cup of Turkish coffee. The ice cream was a good choice for me. I especially enjoyed the mini balls of cheesecake used as part of the topping.I would recommend this place; but just be warned, it is a bit pricey. I did not know that going into it. For the two rolled ice creams and one cup of Turkish coffee, it was slightly over $18 total.
I decided to come here because a family member recommended it to me. When I walked in there was a long line, so I decided to come back later in the day. When I came back, it was a lot less crowded. When it was my turn to order the employee said I would have to wait for him to finish making a tiktok. He recorded himself making rolled ice cream, then said he needed a 20 minute break and that I’d have to wait longer. After 20 minutes he was still in the back, so I left. The next day I came back and saw the same employee working, and filming another tiktok video. He was being very rude to the lady in front of me and told her to “deal with it” and “just leave” when she complained about her order being messed up. When he saw me, he gave me a dirty look and quickly walked to the back. When he finally came back to the counter he threatened to call the cops on me for “trespassing”, when I was just trying to order. I will never go back to this place
