Small store, accessible only from Ryan road.Limited stocks of kerala dried foods and necessities available.. lot of frozen things were also available.. but not sure what good “Groceries” I could get..People here were very friendly. But they pushed a lot of left over cold food with me and for expensive price.. I felt food here was expensive to other Indian foods around.. A small tray of Kappa and curry costed me over 20 bucks and didn’t even tasted good.. I had to add salt, spices and reheat to make it edible.. Fish biriyani I got here was not good either.. I would not recommend this place.. and don’t see any reason to go back there again..

Horrible experience at this place. The person at the store made me buy more than I ordered thro phone . He was very rude in the way he talked. Learn to treat your customers better.Taste of the food was also not that great.I will never go to this place again!!

This is authentic Kerala-style Indian food, and it is good. The proprietors were very gracious and willing to explain what different dishes were and how they were made. Diners are encouraged to eat in the traditional style (with your hands), but there was also silverware available to those who wanted it. The dining area attached to the grocery is quite small, but on Sundays they serve a buffet (though really, you sit at the table and the servers just bring you some of whatever is on the menu for that day) in the overflow space a few doors down from the grocery. I highly recommend!

I love their meats. They have a wide selection and the staff is very helpful. Lots of prepared food such as stuffed chicken breasts and other specialties ready to cook. This is my go to place for fresh meat.

When the Kuttanadan side of me craves duck roast, this is my go-to place. Their fried anchovies are great too. Mallu delicacies away from home! 😋

Great Kerala, South Indian food at a great price

The chicken curry was literally chicken wings with cold sauce and rice. Threw the whole plate away. Might be a good grocery store but definitely not a restaurant

Groceries are limited but I could find kerala jaggery, rice palada etc..I give a 5 star because they have catering service which is their main attraction. We had kerala porotta (which is not frozen, they made it by their own) and kerala mutton curry, which was really good. My husband took Onasadya as parcel last time, which had the authentic kerala taste. I heard sometimes they offer pothichoru, but We never got a chance to try.

Good selection of groceries and Kerala cooking I was greeted warmly, given samples. The dishes were explained. Ill be back.food was great and they have a buffet on Sunday (shhhhhhhh!)

It is a Typical Kerala Style Restaurant & catering services. The mainly focus on south Indian Kerala style Food and Snack.None of the dishes tastes good, its oily and cold stored. They serve food which are made previous days ( kept in fridge). If I am right they cook fresh only on Saturday & Sunday.The prices are high as they serve each dish per pound. 1 pound of chicken curry it comes to $18.The grocery stores have limited items for sales in store & have lots of variety of frozen fishAttention : We placed small order for catering where Rice, Sambar and biryani served was not fresh made but from previous day.

All different kinds of Kerala dishes & snacks are available here,, very friendly staffs and they care for their customer serve as we visited their house.Small place to dine in but that’s not a draw back, they also have rental hall beside them for any special events like Onam sadhya & other Malayali festivals.Parking space is free, clean environment, close to highway.

AUTHENTIC Kerala Homestyle freshly prepared dishes. Mouth watering food as well as you get all kerala groceries too one could ask for. If at all you are passing by Detroit make sure to stop by at National Groceries and catering. Highly recommended. Sunday’ s there is sadya with 22 items includes non veg items too.

Tried to go Onam sadya this year too. It was not up to standard. Last years was better than this years. Rice was cooked in authentic level. Sorry to say that all other main dishes were not at all authentic. May be because I am from central Kerala. Most horrible was “ payasam “. Also three items were missing in the to go package. These remarks are intended not to hurt anyone but to take care for future. Any way thanks to them for providing Ona sadya.

Great place for Kerala food. They have the best Indian Buffet!! Its only available on Sundays but all the food items are absolutely delicious. Their biriyani is amazing along with their malabar chicken curry. Great food no doubt! This is my number 1 choice for Indian food.

The food is really excellent, perhaps the only Kerala cuisine in the area. Their lunch buffet is worth trying . If you are looking for Non veg Kerala delicacies then dont miss this spot.

Food can be a hit or miss. I had some good experience and not so good experience with food here. Its not consistent. I had best pazhampori and worst pazhampori in my life from same shop

I felt like the food ingredients used were stale ... Tried: kappa, chicken, lamb, fish.. nothing tasted fresh except idlis (Indian rice cake) and Mango punch. The vada (medhu vadai) which is supposed to be soft was just just as hard like Masal vadai.I think I may not recommend this place to anyone. Even the parking lot appeared so ugly! May be my expectations were higher. Compared to Ashoka, Aahar, Neehees, Suvai this place hold very less ambiance.This is my personal views/opinions and not intended to hurt anyone or anyones business.

The sunday buffet is good, except for few items all the other curries were truly authentic. The meen(fish) curry was exceptionally great!
