This place is so unprofessional. They take anything good for themselves I saw Them change a price And take it off the floor for for a girl named Danny I would not recommend donating or going to support this business
I love coming here! Everyone is always friendly and asks how your day is. The selection is HUGE. I have found some of my favorite treasures here. @jainmfknjackson
Absolutely love this thrift store. All the employees are so kind and they have great finds! xo-@tinaindisbish
It is so easy and affordable to shop here ! I’ve been to multiple different thrift stores in the area but this one is the cheapest and I never leave without something in my cart. One unique feature about GCH is that they have a trending rack that makes it easier to access a lot of on brand and trending items that many people would like. I also probably return back to this store weekly and always feel satisfied with my purchase.@angiepoo555
I do love the selection here. The furniture is beautiful but very pricy. I really hate to say that as a person in long term recovery for a substance use disorder, I know Grace Centers of Hope does amazing work helping people get sober.. Perhaps one day I will be able to donate and/or purchase this beautiful furniture. Besides the prices, everything is great
Nice furniture a pj shirt was $4.99??Says masks are worn including staff..NOT TRUE!!
Very good actually the best,I have been to do many different thrift store but this particular one is non regretting I seriously assure your happiness and joy when you get there@officialkima3
I went for the first time for a sale, I was publicly humiliated when many items had no prices, the staff took the items and threw them and kicked them, saying “we don’t have time to price this junk.” They then accused me of removing tags trying to steal? It was degrading and embarrassing and a horrible experience!!!! Then out of spite they charged my credit card 4x the amount and I didn’t notice until I got home. I was so upset. I tried contacting Greater Grace and they never replied, even more insulting.....
Great place! One of the best thrift shops in town! @ethan.tolentino
Hey I saw this place on tic toc and think it looks really cool. I live in Dearborn. Hope to win because from your pictures it looks like you have really good stuff.😊 My tic toc username is @dumbhoe98 (Sorry my little sister made it that)
This thrift store is one of the best I have ever shopped at. The store is clean and organized. The customer service is the best. Everyone that works there is always friendly and greets you as you walk in. There’s always great things to find there, like this beautiful night stand that was basically brand new!! I will definitely go back, it’s my favorite thrift store!!!
I was at this store donating and the guy that came to my car was smoking. Smoking getting the stuff out as well. I am totally disgusted by that 😡 I tried calling but it went to Voicemail.
Grace Center of Hope is NOT in compliance with the pandemic mask mandate! At least 4 staff members walking the store with NO masks on! One was actually COUGHING in the aisle! Customers were wearing masks under their nose! I made a comment on their facebook page. They deleted it and blocked me. Obviously, they are trying to HIDE the fact that they are NON-COMPLIANT! AVOID this thrift stores during the pandemic!!
Nice Location. The store styling and appearance is always nicely maintained, my only con is items seem to be limited in the Home Goods section, the Furniture, Clothing and Accessories are usually plentiful.
Fun to stop in here. You never know what treasures you might find.
Best thrift store in the area. Prices are super cheap. New stuff comes out every hour, and they are opening a book/dvd store right next door! They are truly amazing. Doesn’t smell like a normal second hand shop, the furniture is beautiful and priced perfect. Flash sales all the time on furniture and everything else in store. You can come in with $5 and get so many items. They have a .25 cent aisle and .25 clothing everyday. Also the color tags go on sale every 2 weeks, and purses and linen are included so it’s not just .50 cent clothing. They have so many pairs of shoes. It’s cleaner than any other thrift store I have been to and everything is priced so it doesn’t leave you guessing. I love it, and I’ll spend my money only here from now on. The staff is passionate and it’s always nice to see friendly faces when you walk in.
I went in with high hopes of finding some wonderful things at great prices, it was the complete opposite. The prices are ridiculously overpriced for even the most torn up, stained clothing. Salvation Army and Goodwill don’t even compare to how overpriced this place is. Complete letdown.
Staff is kind, and there is a large assortment of products to choose from.
First of all, as soon as you walk in this place you get greeted and theres a sign of what the days sale is. The staff is SO nice and helpful!!! Dont get me started on the hidden TREASURES!!!This place is affordable beyond belief and they even have really expensive brands in there!! Grace Centers of Hope is incomparable to any other thrift store, i refuse to shop retail- this place has it ALLL!!
There is a surprising amount of furniture and seems to be nicely organized. I would have given a higher rating but the amount of employees not wearing masks properly or at all is appalling.
This store used to have fine vintage furniture selections at reasonable price, not anymore! Their prices now are at least 2.5 times higher than individuals advertising on Facebook Marketplace or 1.5 times higher than Salvation Army. They do have 50% sale on Wednesday for seniors but excluding furniture & appliances. They mark their items price with consideration of wednesday senior discount in mind, thus prices are comparable with new. Dont waste ur gas or time there unless happened on route.
Grace Centers of Hope employees are the best. The sterling heights location on van dyke has the most cheerful helpful staff out of all the resale shops I have ever been to.Staff is always will to work with you on pricing and delivery . There are sales and specials every day. Jewelry is very well priced. Way better than Salvation army. They arrange clothes by size and that is very helpfulI LOVE GRACE CENTER OF HOPE ON VAN DYKE IN STERLING HEIGHTS !It is fun to go in here.
Best thrift shop for furniture!
Wow, I am so impressed! The prices were great and I was able to find a few clothing items I really liked. I bought a sweater that was “TopShop” brand. It looks brand new and I easily would have paid 20-30 dollars for it at the real “TopShop”. With all thrifted items, I took them home and immediately washed them. I saw a few negative reviews on here pertaining to items (such as furniture) having bed bugs. Use common sense, check for those things before you bring it home! It can happen anywhere, even at stores that are not second hand. I typically thrift at Salvation Army but I think this is my new go to thrift. Employees were friendly and I love the mission statement! Keep it up!
Amazing service and staff !!! Plus they have a cute holiday store right next to family dollar. They have daily sales and clothing as low as a $1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays . Can’t beat coming to this place !!
Excellent service. Thank you so much! I’ve been furniture-less since Covid-19 started lol.
I like this thrift store a lot. Some merchandise is better than other thrift stores and some worse. The furniture is always really nice. The clothes selection is subpar and their sales arent as great as the Salvation Army 5 for $5. But I have found some really great merchandise here for cheap and most of the staff is super friendly.
We love this store. I have 14 children and my husband and I can almost always find what we need. More than that, the customer service is above and beyond outstanding. It supports a mission that restores freedom and dignity to hurting people, so Im happy to bring all of my usable and retired clothing and home goods.
I LUV (Love Under Victory) Grace Centers of Hope!!! Mostly i shop at the Riverland, Sterling Hts store. The manager, Art exemplifies his love for God and has been extremely helpful. The clerks are so so sweet and patient...and the handlers of dropped off donated items always smile and say thank you. May God always Bless Grace Centers of Hope!!!
Cleanest thrift store Ive ever seen.. and I promise Ive seen a lot of them. Tidy, organized and the furniture set up looked like an Art Van, well done.
Great people to help and do business with. Everybody from the back to the front! Neat clean organized store with unique items at reasonably good prices.
Great store! Good prices, clean, awesome furniture! Staff is super helpful! Favorite thrift store in the area, by far.
Terrible. I got my couch home and it was full of bed bugs. Management is never around to help. Prices are more expensive than salvation army. Many options in the area, Id advise going elsewhere.
I like it 👍
This is my favorite place to go. The staff the management always helpful and friendly. Have a question and they are always ready! The store is always clean and dont have the 2nd hand store smell. Ive been coming here for years
I like shopping here, but workers are very rude.
Great Deals on Everything Especially Furniture!the manager here is always working and organizing keeping the store tidy and clean. Love it here. Great Charity .
All the clothes go on sale on Thursday. All the money goes to homeless and Abused Women and Children. They Mark the stuff higher because it goes on sale almost everyday for a percentage or color tags are $0.50 sometimes. I found a lot of clothes with brand new price tags on them that had never been worn before. People should expect to get what they pay for and sometimes get lucky this is a lucky place. You could never make complainers and haters happy. If you dont have nothing good to say dont say nothing at all grow up. I have nothing but good things to say about this place the people are great and they help the community and they give people jobs that otherwise couldnt get jobs. Their Furniture is brand new when Gardner-White art van wants to give away its clearance stuff to charity as a tax write-off.
Im kind of surprised of some of the reviews. I just dropped off a large load of clothes etc because my wife and I like the work they do. After dropping off I figured Id go inside expecting to see the high prices that others have posted. I thought the majority of items were very reasonable to cheap. Some of the furniture was higher in price but consider what they use the money for. Also you dont have to buy it. All the staff from those helping to unload to the people inside were all very friendly.
Grace Center of Hope Thrift Store is truly the best store. Staff is very friendly ready to assist you and the prices are always right. Highly recommended.
Great Deals on really nice furniture. The selection on clothes is not good. Good prices!!
They were amazing and so helpful! They even have a Military Discount and there prices are so good! I will be back!
This is a lovely place. Especially, furniture is cheaper than other salvation stores and has good quality. My favorates.
It has the nicest clothes, they are like new and much cheaper than the Salvation Army. Their furniture is also much nicer than the salvation army and much cheaper. The colored tags at Salvation army are 50% off but the colored tags at Grace Centers of Hope are 50 cents. I bought a whole new wardrope, I even got a corderough jacket for 50 cents and all my neighbors are complimenting me on the way I have been dressing and they go there now. Also buy a lot of jewelry there. There shoes are only 2 dollars, the only thing about the shoes is there is not a large selection. The furniture is also reasonable. My brother got a very nice oak cocktail table with some tinted glass on it and a bottom shelf and a matching end table in excellent condition for 40 dollars.. He would never go into a thrift shop but once I got him in there we were in there for 3 hours. They also deliver furniture for 40 dollars no matter how much furniture it is.
The money they receive help those in need, providing meals, clothing, shelter, and life counseling for adults, single parents and their children. Its a win-win for you and GCH when you shop here.
First time in a thrift shop and I was very impressed. Nice cashier up front and I couldnt believe the prices.
Great staff and nice job cleaning the store up. There’s no smell and they play great music.
My go-to thrift shop. Id have to say, out of the five that I frequent this is my most favorite. from the prices, selection, and friendly staff, I always leave as a happy customer.
Have been disappointed in this store for several months. Their prices have been going higher in price. Today, instead of listening to Christmas music while shopping, or Christian music as in the past, they had other loud secular music playing. Very very disappointed. Salvation Army will be my first choice in resale shopping.
They dont have a lot of clothes but I have found more gems than any other thrift store in the area. They use to be cheaper than Salvation Army but now they are about the same. Without the cheaper prices, there nothing really going for them in comparison to Salvation Army.
Since they no longer have 1/2 price on clothing prices are very expensive. A size 4T sweater for $3.99, a Gardner White couch for $400 and this is the tip of the iceberg. Where are you coming up with these jacked up prices? Please take down your sign that says cheapest thrift store prices in tosn. Go to the Salvation Army on Hall Rd to stretch your dollars.
Great values!
Really enjoyed shopping here!! Found some great buys and everyone was very friendly and helpful.
They are more polite and the prices are cheaper than salvation army. God bless
Love this place, helps us and helps others! honest good people
I went there looking for some summer tops for my grandchild. I found three items they were each a $1.99 so I took them up to the front desk and found out that they had the sticker of the day which was pink and they are only $0.50 a piece. Then my husband who is a veteran was with me and we got an additional 25 percent military discount. So I end up getting the three items for $0.38 a piece.
Great people great furniture fantastic prices, plus they will deliver for a fair price,, the best place to shop in town and love the customer service and smiles 💞💞💞💞
Organized and clean. Friendly staff
Great prices, friendly staff. The prices are better than Salvation Army.
Brought clothing, etc and shopped also. Everyone friendly and helpful
Thrift shop is all about the value per dollar. This place has some value, however its mostly overpriced. They have a sign telling you the retail value and their price but its wrong to even compare the retail value with the thrift value to begin with. Never going to come here again.
Better prices than Salvation Army!!!
Great furniture, great clothes, great prices. Friendly staff too!
Clean, well-organized, helpful staff. Great prices.
Not bad. I Got few things out of there
The donation center people arent as friendly as others Ive donated to in the pass. I dont think Ill be taking anymore used excellent condition toddler, womens clothes to them. Ill stick with Rose resale in Mt. Clemens for domestic violence shelter and Detroits inner city DDRM centers.
I always find good Polo blouses here. I loved when the store was always 50% off, now seems a bit over priced for thrift
Clean used clothing at great prices
