This place never lets me down. The tacos are some of the best in town. The staff are wonderful and always seem happy to be working.

La Laguna has my favorite Mexican restaurant inside the market. Their food is to die for - I could live off their rice, beans, and chorizo Gorditas for the rest of my life, lol! The market itself also has great sweets in the little baked goods area, great fresh raw meats, tasty fresh veggies, and an assortment of drinks - all at reasonable prices.Do yourself a favor and order some food and do a little shopping. Its super tasty and supports a local small business!

Little restaurant in the back of the grocery store. Pleasant staff. Limited menu, but the food is phenomenal. We got the steak tacos and steak enchiladas. The taste was fabulous. Nothing overpowering. Will definitely go back.

The absolute BEST tacos in the Sauk Valley area. I havent tried any of their other menu items because I am so addicted to their tacos, but I am sure they are just as amazing. I recommend this place to everyone I know!

Skeptical about $4 sopes until I opened my take out box and realized they were the size of my head. Was gonna wait until I got home to eat them, but ate them with my hands in the parking lot instead. People looked at me. I was a mess. Not until I went to write this did I realize a fork on my lap. That big. That good. Top button on my pants unbuttoned. Will definitely do it again...and again. Definitely don’t have to cry about not living in Chicago anymore and eating sopes all the time.

Only complaint I have is that I did find alot of grizzle in my steak meat . I cant stand that because I had to stop chewing to take out the grizzle ☹️ . Other then that food was very good !! I had steak tostada 😊

We didnt go to La Laguna we were at the opening of the New Dollar Tree next door! Sorry but the food at the restaurant in the back is Amazing! Our Granddaughter almost lives there! She LOVES there Tacos!

This place has authentic Mexican food. The tacos are small but reasonably priced. They offer four home made hot sauces. The habanero hot sauce is amazing but a little goes a long way, hot, it has an almost nutty flavor. I personally enjoy the rib-eye (lomo) tacos with cilantro and onion. On the weekend they offer carnitas, barbacoa and menudo.
