I was in this store in Steubenville, Ohio a few Sundays ago to purchase a new phone. A young lady named Sam waited on me! I can honestly say that this is by far the absolute best customer service that I have ever experienced anywhere! I had many questions, concerns, photos to transfer, etc. It was very clear that she was happy to assist. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and enthusiastic! During the time that I was there, other customers walked in and she treated them with the same great service! I do not generally complete a review; however, I was so impressed with her service and it was very obvious that she loves her job and loves to help people! She really went above and beyond making certain that I was comfortable with the purchase and items that transferred over. Thank you!

Great staff. Clean store. The staff Is knowledgeable, personable, friendly, and honestly kind of fun to be around for whats usually a trivial trip to the cell phone store. They explained everything and did the most to make sure all my data and personal information were transferred when I did and upgrade. My girlfriend wasnt able to get an insurance replacement on site but the sales rep was awesome at helping her get to the website and even had a few tricks to get the claim moving faster for her. Awesome store.

Another great experience with the staff at Sunset Verizon. Samm and Garret are both very helpful, they’re honest and it seems like they actually care about us customers rather than just our money. Both employees are very well trained and if they don’t know an answer they do whatever they can to find it for you. If you’re having issues or just need a new phone I suggest you head there.

We went to this location for help with an issuance claim and to see about upgrading a phone. We were in there ten minutes or so before the lady addressed us by asking what we NEEDED. Told me twice they have NEVER done insurance claims in there AFTER my husband and I told her a young man did help us so I asked her if she was saying we were lying. Very passive aggressive after I told her we received the phone at home and she tried to tell me that we came in the store to have the contacts and things switched to the new phone. Then said I can call the insurance company FOR you but I’m with another customer. We just needed help and maybe an upgrade but she acted like we were intruding. I called to Weirton WV store and was told the General Manager would call me in a day or so but it’s been three days going into four. We have been with Verizon for maybe four years and I think it’s time to move on.

Recently got treated like trash at the Wintersville store bc the girl did not want to wait on someone who bought online. I was so relieved when I came into the Steubenville store. The offered to help set up my phone I didnt even ask bc I had already figured it out. The other store told me the couldnt bc I bought online. The put on liquid glass and were more than helpful amen offering to order in a case to fit the new phone. They greeted me as soon as I walked in as the did the other customer and were working hard not gossiping to customers like the other place. Save yourself the headache and time and just go to the Steubenville store.

Samm is great, she helped me out a lot when I broke my phone and needed a replacement, she couldn’t do an insurance claim in store but my phone was paid off and they had a great promo running that let me trade in my broken phone and it worked out even better than just going through insurance! Very professional and knowledgeable, the staff all seem to be very fun and friendly!

The staff at sunset are all amazing! I’ve worked with Kristin B, Garret, Arysan, and Samm and they are all awesome! We hit a few snags when I learned that they do not handle insurance claims in store but they were kind enough to give me both a website and a phone number with a few tricks to get my claim moving faster! They were very busy and apologized and even offered to dial and let us sit in store to call and file the claim but since they were busy we decided to handle it at home, the website and phone number made it so easy to handle comfortably on our own!

I called about a Bluetooth device. The person I talked with didnt have what I asked about but she told me what she did have and suggested I come in and look at them. When I got there she had the set aside at the front desk. She explained the features and told me the prices.I was able to select the one I wanted and pay for it in less than 10 minutes.She was extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable.I will be going back to this store.

Customer service these days is few and far between. Just left the Steubenville Verizon store. We were interested in getting the Galaxy phone, but of course with covid, we couldnt handle the phone, so we couldnt pick up the phones that we were possibly going to buy. She asked what we were interested in, and we said well since we cant pick up the phones and look at them, were not really sure what we want. And she said bluntly, well what do you want to see? Theyre all going to do the same thing. Okay, well cars all drive the same way too, but I still want to test drive them before I buy. The attitude is what did it for me. Anyway, we also wanted to join our phone lines, and remove a tablet line, but she couldnt do that in store. We would have to call customer service. So basically everything we went into the store to do, we couldve just done ourselves from home.

Best store and staff out there, hands down. My phone stopped working suddenly, a few days ago. After stopping at a few different stores, and talking to multiple different people on the phone, I was struggling to get my options figured out. Dow, who helped me at this store location, was so helpful and found me the best option possible! (very happy with the results). My husband was having trouble with his refurbished phone he got after dropping his first phone in the washing machine. The refurbished phone held a horrible battery life, the phone screen didn’t work, some days his phenwork would, other days it wouldn’t, and we were having a problem with our bill for the last 2 years and we kept calling Verizon about it and it was never resolved. We were getting very frustrated with everything and were considering switching providers. But went in one night about 30 minutes before the store closed. We went in and the lady there, Zari, was very kind and understanding about our frustration and fixed our billing problem immediately and in fact upgraded us to a better plan where we paid less. She also recomended my husband a new phone that that fit our budget perfectly. She was not pushy, but very patient with us even though we were there over an hour after the store closed. She didn’t rush us but was very thorough and took her time to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. From what started as a very frustrating situation turned into a very pleasant experience and we will definitely not be switching providers any time soon. Thank you Zari!!!
