Everytime I take my car here something else ends up being wrong

Someone slipped up, I called 10.30 this morning. Was told car would be done by 1.00 oclock. My brother dropped me off,then he returned home to lake havasu.i sat in the extremely busy office, I approached desk at approximately 1.35. I was told then that the tech, Larry was out sick at home with an eye problem.,and may be out tomorrows Also, so my car ma not be done till Monday. My wonderment is,why wasnt I told that at the 10.30 phone call? Depending on the outcome, this may be the last time they see me.

Reasonable and friendly. Unfortunately I bought WalMart brand of synthetic that is too watered down. I was told this after the diluted oil was used and should have stuck with a different brand of synthetic that has better viscosity.

I never took the time to rate this place. Ive been going here for a little over a year now I believe. These guys take care of my little car always. I feel like theyre very honest, not out to just get your money, or as a woman not trying to cheat you and get over. They explain very clearly whats going on with your car and they are very helpful. Good vibe here.

They service tons of automotive related stuff here. I drive a hybrid car with same oil plug and an oil filter, and some shop I went they charge way more for just an oil change.I dont seems to know why, but here at RD Automotive they treat my car same as others.Also, one of the cheapest around for an oil change and they get the job done.

Place is a little crowded most of the time and not a lot of workers to help. So, takes a lot of time just to do a simple task (oil change). However, prices were fair enough. Also, workers were very informative and helpful and knew what they were doing unlike many other shops.

I have traded with R/D for a number of years. Most recently they repaired an air suspension problem with my SUV. I find them to be reliable and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this company for regular service and mechanical repairs.

I usually go here to get oil changes on all my cars. Just recently they did my brakes. After driving for a day, my brake lights wouldnt go off. I called to let RD automotive dude know and he said the brake light was not near where they did the brakes. I expressed to him that the problem was not present until after my brakes were done. He said there was nothing he could do. I was saddened because Ive done business with them for a while and to have this happen and offer no other assistance, not even a bring it in Ill check it out It was as if they werent responsible and they didnt even wanna bother with my business. I was disgusted. Ive spent a lot of money with them. No more. Absolutely not.

Fluid levels are not done, they need adding. Engine oil often is low, we have to add. Their oil quality seems good as they advertise. Bottom line: careful, keep an eye on all levels when you get home.

This is going to be a long review!Because it has to be a truthful and heartfelt review!My llast visit to RD Automotive was my third time here.My previous experiences here were so pleasant that this time I brought a friend who needed some work done!He also was very happy with his experience here! Not only was the work done properly but, was done in a timely manner! Price was more than fair! I did not meet any of the mechanics here on any of my visits but,they absolutely must be very conscientious of there work.Although I am not a licensed mechanic.I know enough about auto mechanics to know when I am being told what is going on with a vehicle that,I know if it is correct or not.(I think)LoLBut now to the best part of my experiences! This shops FRONT MAN Larry is just incredible.Maybe if more shops had a man like him and mechanics that back up what he says is going to be done.And done properly!! People would trust more shops and their mechanics!Larry gives a thorough explanation of what is going on with your car through the whole experience!Even gave me answers to possible problems and estimated prices for a couple of vehicles my friend and I hadnt brought in.YET! Absolutely terrible..usually only go there to get a oil change but I had front and back brakes repaired and I came out with more problems after I left my whole car dashboard lit up 3 days later broken sensors check engine light whatever they’re doing they’re doing it wrong please don’t go here. I read some of their old views qnd the same thing happened to me.

I went to this car repair shop for the first time. I received a 27.00 oil change with a 10. Check up.

I used to go here because of Lynn, he was amazing and always had great customer service. But now that hes gone i dont go there anymore. The new administration its not as good.

Took my car in for a brake job, brakes still gave me the same problems, took it back and they said there were no problems with the brakes. Took car to another mechanic. Both rotors were bad and one brake pad had no pad on it. It was down to the metal. New mechanic said brakes had never been worked on or pads changed. I had to pay for another brake job. I will never use this mechanic again. Please beware!!!

I come here with all my vehicles. I refuse to go to dealer these guys and gals are awesome and love their honesty and quality of work. They are all ways very busy because of their integrity and prices so I suggest getting there 1/2 hour before they open at 8:00. Thank you R & D Automovite (Robert DIAZ) what a awesome crew. First of all the last name is just a coincidence. Coming to a new city, you need to find all new services, doctor, dentist, schools,but by far the most difficult is a mechanic. I took my traverse here for ac not working because their diagnostic price seemed really fair. They did a diagnostic and charged me $75 and said it was fixed. Then next day it stopped working. It would cool for a bit, then stop. So back it went. Later in the evening the girl in the office called and sounded very uncertain when I spoke to her. She said we THINK its the compressor. When I asked why theyre trying to fix such an expensive part if they arent sure she said, oh, Im 100% sure. But she had just said she THINKS. They never said the ac compressor didnt work. They just said there was dye all over the compressor and the lines. So they said the compressor is leaking and they arent sure if the lines are ALSO leaking or if its over spray from the compressor so they wanted to charge me $729+tax to do the compressor and said they might ALSO have to do the lines AFTERWARDS. Well by that logic couldnt the dye on the compressor be overspray from the lines? They just picked the most expensive option to replace and went with that! Im to believe that FOUR different things broke in my ac system SIMULTANEOUSLY??? (compressor, 2 lines and whatever they fixed the first time they had it) what are the odds of that???!!! Seemed like bs to me! So, I took it to another shop who found one of the lines had a huge leak in it which is what had sprayed all over the compressor and lines. MY COMPRESSOR IS FINE. So, this place would have fixed the compressor, the ac still wouldnt have worked and then they would have charged me more to start replacing lines until they stumbled across the correct one. What the hell kind of service is this? DISHONEST! WASTED THE $65 FOR A DIAGNOSIS OF NOTHING! DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP. Take your car somewhere else!

Time estimates are off, we were told 30 min and it actually took about an hour and a half. We would of brought 2 cars and dropped the car off and went and ate if we had known but theyre really cheap. Just had an oil change and tire rotation but everything seems to be in order

This place is the worst. Robert the owner tries to make excuses for everything so he doesnt have to fix his own mistakes. Ive had mutiple family members come here because he can talk a very good game and will compare his prices to actual dealership, but he doesnt tell you that he knowingly orders wrong parts and put them in your car. These parts cause other problems that forced us to go to a dealership for proper repairs by more experienced and knowledgable mechanics. At the dealership i was shown that rd automotive ordered parts for the wrong year and that they marked them up nearly 400%. When confronted with this problem robert the owner simply came up with every excuse he could almost studdering. Worst customer service i have ever come across. Everytime i get work done here other problems start popping up a couple weeks later. So many problems robert refused to continue working on the car. These people are a joke.

Horrible Place. Just bought brand new tired from this place and I got it realigned. Brought it back 3 weeks later and the brand new tire broke and they wouldnt fix it. I was going to bring a lot of business to them but they are the worst.
