I’m not coming back to this salon, the lack of respect and hospitality for clients is astounding. When I came in the person who styled my hair was so dramatic because I had dry scalp and treated me like a germ, I have social anxiety as is. not to mention took five hours for a two hour style and ate food mid styling my hair as if I don’t have a life, and I got blamed for it taking all day had to hear my stylist complain and groan all five hours because I got “plastic” braiding hair as a stylist isn’t it YOUR job to inform the client what he or she needs? Not to mention literally let her frustration on my head and was very aggressive, as black hairdressers and people in general got to do better be professional lost a hard working customer.

The shop is a very loving environment they make you feel welcome and they know their stuff my sew-ins always look on point

I have gotten my braids done here twice and I have loved both experiences. The ladies are so nice and professional. The shop is immaculately clean. And you can tell every customer leaves completely satisfied. Highly recommend them!

I have been a customer here at JEM for over 10 years there is not one time I can remember where I was unsatisfied I really enjoy coming to get my hair done and I wouldn’t never dare to go anywhere else.You will be very pleased and very well satisfied if you came to JEM to get your hair done as well.

They do great braids but I wonder if their open because I need my head done lol

My experience was really nice, I love the food& the services & she had African clothing.

I called to see if i could get an instal done. The owner said she would be available at 6 and she would call me to let me me know if she finished her client earlier. When i did not recieve a call back i decided to call...i figured maybe she got busy and could not do it. The owner ensured me that she would be able to get me in and that she would call me around 6. I got a babysitter went to the bank... and waited for her call. She never called. It would have been nice of her to call and say....im overbooked so today wont work...I could have made other arrangements. I called twice... honesty and integrity was lacking.
