I had a great time getting a new car here! Scotty had a keen sense for what to show me when I told him I wanted leather seats, something a little sporty, but also family friendly and I drove my new (used) car off the lot and have been loving my 6 speed manual 2019 elantra ever since. I was a little worried about the process of car buying but Scotty was charming and informative answering all my questions. The lot is easy to access with a pretty good selection of inventory. I recommend swinging by and checking them out if youre in the market.

First, I have been to many car dealerships in my lifetime and I dont trust them. Until I leases a Niro EV from Sami @ Kia Of Stockton. He was polite, knowledgable, transparent and he listened to my needs. Which was to lease a Kia Niro EV (electric). Scotty Richards is the best!! I went in for an oil change on my 2020 Kia Rio S and left with a 2022 Kia Sportage. He was extremely friendly, answered all my questions I had and was able to work with me on the financing. I love my new baby! Horrible horrible experience! Ended up walking out after being there two hours +. Told them I had a budget I dint want to go over, which was $40,000. They agreed! Ended up choosing a car under my budget. they came back saying It would come out to $54, 000 for a 2021 Kia Sorento the financing guys vibes were not good. I said nope ill pay 39 to 40 they said they couldnt fix the price so I said no thank you and left. Went to Kia in Modesto. Got the same car for $12,000 less then what they tried giving it to me. luckily i did my research and knew the price range of the car. Be careful going here do your research first. Good luck if you choose this place.
Strongly encourage people not to do business with the dealership. I am willing to pay sticker price on a new vehicle, but not a penny above. Tried to do a deal for a K5 GT that is on site. They have priced the vehicle 20% above sticker price. Talk about GREED! Stay away! My experience, this is DEFINITELY NOT a dealership that you want to do business with.
Juan the sell person was very courteous and sympathetic. I went in to him about a letter that I have received. He explained it and offered me two gift cards, it wasnt much however it was all about the gesture.
The owner, Mike, and employees, Rick, Randy and finance guy Chad, took such amazing care of us, we have to give a shout-out! We went into Stockton Kia because they had the blue Forte my husband has been wanting, and Rick was quick to call him back when my husband inquired online. He was polite, helpful and not pushy at all, but cared about our interest and went above and beyond to give us the answers we were looking for. On sight, Randy took excellent care of us and was extremely attentive and knowledable of the vehicle and its features! Mike was exceptionally hospitable and got us the deal we wanted! I called them today and ask if can get an oil change . They said yes but it will take a little longer . I get there and the dude flat out said no you don’t have an appointment. It sounded like they didn’t wan any more services done . I have never had a problem with Chevrolet. Never have to make an appointment . Never will buy from Kia again

Lots of shady double talk. Spoke with 3 different people and all told me completely different things. Reps were polite and to the point, which I appreciated. A sales rep had me very close to making a purchase but was just a small ways away from meeting my asking price and said maybe her manager could meet it. Manager came out and was obviously displeased with the offer she made me (too low already Im assuming) and purposely UNsold me a car. He started making imaginary markups that noticably made the rep wince. He did want to sell me because the offer was already too low and ran me off with saying the msrp would be 10-12 grand more by the time I walk out the door. The rep said manger might be able to get msrp down a grand or two. Either way whoever was lying...what a joke.UPDATE: Did some digging and it is against the law for a dealer to charge more than what is on the sticker price. They can put what ever they want on that sticker but cannot charge you more that what is advertised. That is exactly what the manger Mike tried to do. The price for a Kia Telluride was listed as 41k and he said there would be a dealer markup of 6-8k (not including licensing fees and taxes, he said would usually be 10%) Again, they have the full right to upcharge a car ON THE STICKER but not afterwards. This is precisely what Mike tried to do. This is against the law. Buyer beware. Not sure if this can be reported but I will try.Below is the California dealer law referenced above:Section 11713.1. Unlawful acts by holder of dealer’s licenseIt is a violation of this code for the holder of a dealer’s license issued under this article to do any of the following: Advertise the total price of a vehicle without including all costs to the purchaser at time of sale, except taxes, vehicle registration fees, the California tire fee, as defined in Section 42885 of the Public Resources Code, emission testing charges not exceeding fifty dollars ($50), actual fees charged for certificates pursuant to Section 44060 of the Health and Safety Code, finance charges, and any dealer document processing charge or charge to electronically register or transfer the vehicle.

Fred in Sales has been great, but tells me I will have to wait for him to call me in a day? I have been here at Kia of Stockton over 3 hrs, And they have just started a COMP OIL CHANGE? Beyond upset with Stockton Kia and will never go back. I was very grateful for Jonathan to get me approved for a car. He and his partner worked their butts off. Very appreciative but so upset with how Kia finance person didn’t turn in the RELEASE OF LIABILITY to the dmv. I’ve signed documents of release of liability and was informed they will do their part and send it in. Mind you, this is my first trade. So I don’t know the process. I just trusted them. They sold my Camry because I’ve gotten that person Bay Area tolls and still get DMV mail stating I owe registration but I don’t own the car anymore. I’ve called a few months back wanting to speak to finance person and was told they will relay the message and never did. Then today I call Kia in Stockton telling them I want to speak to a manager. I spoke to Mike and he said they dropped the ball. They have new owners since may 26 and don’t have records of anybody files. I bought the April 12.. how do they not have records. I have my usb will all my information I can give them but he insisted me to email and call this lady in Lodi to get the matter fixed. I’m beyond frustrated. I never would of traded and work with Kia if I knew this was gonna happen. I just want the car I don’t Own anymore taken off my back! That’s it.
They do not follow county guidance or tier system in regards to masks. The owner himself (fat guy in purple shirt) wasnt wearing a mask in the finance office. They will put one on if you wear one, but that isnt how disease spread works. They dont care. If you cant trust them to care for your health, I wouldnt trust them with my vehicle. New ownership is off to a terrible start. I dont know how the state and Kia allow this.
Made an appointment with the service center on July 26 to bring in my car on August 2nd for a parts recall. I arrived on the 2nd, checked in, and waited 20mins only to be told that they didnt have the part in stock. I was told I would be called the next day when the part had arrived. It is now August 13th and I still havent heard back from them. Took my car to a different Kia dealership & have had zero issues. Will not be coming back or referring anyone to this Stockton location.
I don’t recommend anyone to this dealership they are nice during the finance process but anything else questions or answer you made need after they avoidYou And going to them in person or phone doesn’t make a difference they try to leave you in dark water for months at a time 👎
Kia of Stockton cheated me out of money by changing the sales price of the vehicle in the contract from what was on the sticker of the vehicle, and said, oh thats the markup.... everyone does that. So the sticker price in the window of the new vehicle means nothing?!. You just add a few thousand to the price on the contract!. Typical car salesmen. Im so angry!

Overall buying experience was alright, happy with my purchase, and my finance guy WAYNE WAS THE BEST!I’m giving two stars because a couple of months ago I went back to get my GAP insurance back because I paid it off early, mind you I traveled more than 30 miles to do so and they never sent the accounting office the request. AND FOR THAT I BLAME THE MANAGER OF THE FINANCE DEPT.I dealt with him and he was annoyed that I came back with the form filled out and he said he sent it, which given the time and his attitude I had a feeling he didn’t. And I never saw a refund. I had to deal with the correct people directly.
Love this place! No haggling, they sold us a truck for exactly what they said they would over the phone. I’ll definitely recommend them to anyone I can. If you do visit them, ask for Esmeralda she’s great to work with!

Extremely disappointed with this dealership. If i could rate zero stars i would. I financed an Audi from them. The car seemed fine when i drove it back home. The next day the service light went on so i called and they told me they probably forgot to reset it. So since they couldn’t help me reset it i had to figure it out on my own. A week later i noticed it was leaking oil. I spent a couple of days trying to contact them for this problem and nowhere to be found. They were “busy”. Finally i got a hold of them and besides being so rude they blamed me for the leaking oil. That maybe someone got the keys and drove it around and caused damage to the car. They blamed me and now it’s my problem. I have to figure it out. At first they’re super nice and make you feel comfortable but when you have a problem they’re nowhere to be found. Now I’m stuck with paying a damaged car. Their problem became mine now. The worst of the worst dealership I’ve dealt with. Besides the additional hidden fees that they didn’t talk to me about their service is a negative zero. PLEASE DO NOT GET A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.

I was asking about a brand new car model (literally arrived at the dealership for the first time 4 days ago) & the best answer I was given was :you know, I dont know the answer to that, but Ill find out & get you the right answer asap...Havent decided on what to purchase yet, but I do appreciate their professionalism and honesty. I went to Stockton Kia desperately needing a vehicle with my low credit score I didnt believe anyone would be able to finance me long less take my 92 ford that was having problems for a trade in, however Stockton Kia did both and got me a better deal so I could afford a new vehicle instead of the used cars I was considering. The sales person Bob Kasper and the financial department of Kia are very unprofessional, helpful and knowledgeable. They were not pushy about getting you into a newer model but want to get you the best deal possible. They did everything to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase and I am very grateful for their help.

I bought a CPO Stinger here in in early January, Im leaving this review at the end of April because they still havent sent the DMV the required paperwork to complete the registration . Ive called Kia and the dealer multiple times and been told they would process the registration. Im particularly upset because my temp registration expired in 2 weeks ago, my community refuses to let my car have gate access without a valid registration and the dealer has not followed up on their promise to send me a new temp tag. Furthermore I cannot get a Handicap plate for this car until the registration goes through so Im having to park illegally in handicap spaces to unload my wheelchair. I get that problems happen but Ive asked for help so many times with this from the dealer and they just arent engaging me or helping.Update: 6 months later and they still haven’t transferred the registration. Kia of Stockton isn’t returning my messages. The DMV has informed me that failure to transfer registration the car within 90 days is illegal.

I was looking into buying a Buick Encore and so I ended up going to Kia Stockton and the customer service is amazing! My sales person Samina Rehman was so awesome I had called a week before about looking at this car but it was In the shop, but throughout the week she kept me up to date on when the car was going to be ready to be looked at and be test driven. So by the time it was ready she made sure the car was completely perfect there was a paint chip on the car but she went out of her way to make sure she gets on that and so we can get it fixed ASAP. So if anyone is going to look into buying a new or used car I highly recommend going to Stockton Kia and asking for Samina Rehman!

Very little sales pressure. Got a great deal on a vehicle that would have cost about $8,000 more elsewhere. They did try to sneak in a couple add-ons, but didnt complain or try to pressure me into adding them back into the deal after I told them I wanted to opt out. The purchase process took quite a bit longer than I had hoped. There was a lot of waiting around. Overall, a happy customer with my 2021 Telluride EX V6.

I was happy to purchase the 2021 KIA SELTOS S TURBO AWD and it is the 1st KIA car purchased in my family! Our family was a Toyota royal family and we have had purchased so many Toyota cars such as Sequoia, Prius, Yaris and Corolla. I was told during the purchase that Kia has 3 years of free maintenance. then I thought it is better than Toyota which only provides 2 years of free service. Now when I bring my Kia car in for a maintenance service, I was told this car is NOT COVERED!!!! What???? Ridiculous! Why? Why I did not get the free maintenance service? that is the main purpose of why I switched from Toyota to KIA!!!! What a Joke!
My car was cleaned and matienced. Waiting room was clean staff very efficient, time a little long but the refreashing water or soda a pleasant treat.

We have a KIA Sorento but we purchased it when Kia was with Nissan now they are their own separate entities. I miss Laurie who was working at Kia but went back to Nissan, she helped us get our car. The service department has been easy to work with though so I probably will continue to take our Sorento there for oil changes etc. We really like our Kia Sorento.

As far as I know about customer service, you should want the customers service, so you would treat them with respect. I would not recommend doing business with this dealership.

Was not happy at all. Had to pay for an oil change that was supposed to be included in the recall update. Didn’t get my car washed and they didn’t do the 5point inspection on my vehicle. Pure laziness in my eyes. I’ll be heading to Elk Grove moving forward.

Management is unprofessional. I was there to make a deal with trading in my truck for a new car and was told they would give me a fairly decent price for my trade. I was also trying to trade in my travel trailer as a combined deal since I would not be able to use the trailer any longer without the truck. Due to this complexity, I was asked to give them a day or two to make this work. I agreed and left the dealership. Shortly after I left I decided that I would just use the truck as a trade and sell the trailer myself. The manager Ray asked me to give him 15 minutes and he would get back to me. 4 hours later the dealership was closed and never received a call from Ray. The next morning I get a call from my sales rep telling me they are now offering me $6,000 less for my trade. I then asked to speak to Ray and was transferred but the line was busy. I was then told Ray would call me back. Shortly after that I receive a call from my sales rep telling me Ray is busy with other customers and was sorry we could not make a deal meaning he is unwilling to take my call because he knows I am upset with this offer when I was ready to go in and make the deal. Incredibly unprofessional and I would recommend another Kia dealer since this is how management there works.
I was promised Free oil change for life. When I purchased my car 5 years ago. Now that I have moved to GA. Kia will not hold their part of the deal. Then I was told that I could get a refundi to my lien holder. Now I receive a email saying that. The lifetime oil change holds no value. So I cant receive a refund. But if I go to kia lot I still have to pay for it. So explain why he holds no value. Im going to get a lawyer. Only reason I got kia was for the lifetime oil change. I feel very had. Wish I would have gotten a Honda. Dont mess with Kia they are liars.. Dont buy from them. Scam and con artists

Put in an inquiry online and Ray, a manager responded quickly. We wanted to be in and out - it was painless. Great price and on the car I wanted. When we got there Chad had the vehicle already washed and went over some features with me. Everything was quick and efficient. I’d buy from here again. If you already know what car you want you can be in and out in about an hour.
I was interested in leasing a Premium Kia Stinger. Tony showed me a car that had just what I wanted in the color blue I wanted. The discounts that day were outstanding! I worked with Tony and the Sales Manager and felt no pressure to buy any extras but was informed and got just the add on accessories that I wanted and at discounted prices. The finance manager was equally great.Ii was out of there in two hours and that included the test ride and walk around. The people were great and the price was fantastic. Everyone I dealt with or talked to was friendly and helpful. They get my highest recommendation. I am out of the car market for awhile now but I will keep them in mind for next time. The best dealership Ive been to. Originally, I was going to a dealership closer to where I live, but they never answered my calls. I decided to call Kia of Stockton, and a kind lady named Marie (spelling) answered immediately. I had set up an appointment to take a look at the new Stinger. As I arrived, I was welcomed by the staff and was with a team of very professional experts; Max, Jen, Marie, and Lary. Without hesitation, they take the Stinger out of the show room and onto the road for a test drive. I fell in love immediately! The amazing connection I had with every one of them made feel like I was a part of them. I felt no obligation to buy and knew they were there to support me. The color combination of the car wasnt available at that location, but they went out of their way to drive up to a distant location to accommodate my wishes. I couldnt be more thankful to every one of those people, and to the others who worked behind the scenes to make this happen. Im truly grateful! Theyve got my business!

This is a re-edited review based on some issues which happened after the sale. I initially gave a 5-star review, which I had to change.Without going into detail, I had to get the dealer owning company/Lithia, Inc. involved along with the dealership General Mgr. (Brian). Lets just say there were a few issues about negotiations that went south and leave it at that.Lithia, Inc. customer service dept. responded almost immediately (very impressive!). They said the GM/Brian would be reaching out to solve my problems. The following day, the GM reached out, took my information and said he would get back to me, which he did and he solved all the issues. Brian/GM did a great job at making it right for me. I really appreciate his determination to make things right (he did).I dont think the initial sales rep. (Esmeralda) knew anything about my issues. She was very nice to work with and pleasant enough to call me and sing the happy birthday song (over the phone) to me on my birthday. Thanks Esme. Youre a peach! She gets 1-star and Brian gets 1-star, which is why I gave 2-stars.If it werent for Brian, I would have given 1-star. Sorry Brian, I feel bad but I cannot lie giving a review. In other redemption move(s), I had planned on reporting this scenario to the local BBB (which I did not) and I had also contacted a local TV station to help me on my behalf but cancelled after your help.With that said, I cannot recommend you give your precious business to this dealership, in its present personnel makeup.Footnote, after about 2 months later, I received my DMV renewal for the traded in vehicle. Which means these folks did not file the transfer information (taking legal possession of my trade) in a timely fashion. I alerted Brian/the GM but no answer. I also copied Lithia Corporate. Meanwhile, I mailed the DMV form telling them the dealer took the trade and was supposed to follow up. Sorry to say, these folks are grossly incompetent. Buyer beware........

This place is great! I came in after receiving an email from Marie and decided to check out my options. She provided me with a bunch of information that was really helpful. I was hesitant to come by at first not really knowing what to expect but Marie and the sales rep I worked with made my experience worth it all. Everyone here is very friendly! I was in and out in an hour for routine maintenance. I waited in a very comfortable lounge area that had a great variety of free snacks and beverages. The bathrooms were really clean as well as the entire lounge area and overall waiting here was a nice experience : )
I just signed papers to finance my first brand new car at Kia Stockton last week. I went with a 2019 Kia Soul plus. Since I’m a first timer, I was really nervous with purchasing a new car. Chad and the financer who helped me were so helpful, understanding, and did not put pressure on me AT ALL. I would 100% recommend this Kia dealer. I went to a few others in Northern California, and Kia Stockton was by far the most comfortable experience.

Amazing service!! I really enjoyed the at home feel of buying my new van. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and how buying a new car should be I didn’t feel pressured at all and was educated a lot on the van we purchased thank you Kia of Stockton!! I will always come back!
Joey was the best. Very personable, I didnt feel pressured, and was knowledgeable. Most of all willing to go out of his way in service including delivering my new car to my house all the way in Valley Springs from Stockton because I had a rental car. Great guy, great service. Go to Joey for your car needs.
