I had come to the store after it closed on accident. (I got my days mixed up and I wasnt too sure about weekend hours) . I was glad that I got the opportunity to see the layout of the store including their online ordering. They have everything really organized and I appreciate that theyre taking the pandemic seriously, and making sure their customers and employees are safe. Definitely will be back when they are open!

Because it was my first time being in a beauty store and Gina was sooooo helpful and friendly. My experience in the store was a little overwhelming, I felt a little out of place. Towards the end when I saw Gina, I asked one question and she saved the day making me feel I was apart of the ULTA family. Thanks Gina you were awesome.

Very clean store that is taking every necessary step to insure the safety of theyre staff & even more so for us the everyday customer. I had originally only came in for shampoo+condition, after walking around & shopping I noticed they have a full blown hair like what??? Where have I been, obviously living under a rock lol. Ive been in here half a dozen times but Ive never seen theyre salon. All the staff were helpful and very informative. My hairdresser Tori was especially awesome 😎 she gave me some great advice on how to manage & care for the damage in my hair, thats was free lol. She did a beautiful job with my hair, I got highlights done & bdefinitely will be back for my touch-up. Its a one stop shop & even do eyebrows. I would definitely recommend to everyone.

REVIEW EDIT: Im updating my review based on improvement to their check-out process. I went in a few days ago, they have really toned down the idle chit chat and reduced their upselling. Im really impressed at their entire staff :)Great job - thank you for a positive experience in your store.PAST REVIEW:I do not write bad reviews. This Ulta has great customer service on the floor, the register/cashier process can be better. There is always a huge line, too much chit-chat and upselling when its time to check out. Do not misunderstand, the people working at Ulta are great, its the companys process that needs improvement.

I dont shop here often, im not a big makeup person. But its always a nice treat when I come in, I love to browse everything and always look for a few extra things not on my list. 4 star because the check out process is so slow. They seem to ask multiple questions and not everyone is up to date why theyre asking and how things work, its very slow so by the time I get to the register I just say no to everything cause I wanna get out. Perhaps update how you guys handle your perks at the point of sale. Other than that a nice store with nice staff and cool products

Made an appointment day before. Get there 30 min early, was told to come back on time, came back 5 min early and was already doing a walk in eyebrows. Didnt even acknowledge I was there, when I was standing right behind her. Wish I can give 0 stars. No customer service or acknowledgement of the arranged schedule policy 😔😔😔

Absolutely dangerous place to go when you love makeup! Lots of different options and different brands to choose from car which makes the shopping that much more awesome! I recently purchased do Kylie lip glosses and a two-faced eyeshadow palette and Im absolutely in love with both. The associates here were extremely helpful and very courteous.

I should have taken a pic of my hair when I first got it done...but I hated it so bad I didn’t think of pictures! Selena the “manager” did it! I told her I wanted platinum colors and she left me blonde/orange ...really doesn’t go well with me. Come on, if I asked for platinum since the beginning why would she even go into the blonde family...most of my hair was pretty blonde with the bleach already. She said she’d do a free tone later so I waited for about the time she told me to rest my hair and then wouldn’t answer my calls or texts! I had to rock my hair in a bun until I found someone else to get the job done! This salon is a joke, save your money 💰 or go elsewhere. They don’t know what they are doing...because if the manager doesn’t...she makes everyone else look bad!

I think I liked this Ulta the best out of all the Ultas Ive shopped at. They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I have even gone there and told them about a product I had seen and was interested in, but couldnt remember the name of it. With a few sensible questions they figured out what I wanted and showed it to me. This store isnt the closest to me, but I am willing to drive the extra few miles because of the staff.

The store is really big and has a lot of stuff for just about any beauty needs that someone may have, but I went in there thinking that they should have a great big variety of hair dye... they had maybe 5 different hair dyes...Dont know why but I just expected more I guess...

Decent Selection but terrible customer service. I went here at about 7pm and walked around the store for a good half hour definitely looking lost and confused (not even sure what some of the products are for). I walked past and through several groups of employees talking with each other and not once was I asked if I needed any help or even acknowledged by the employees. The only employees that spoke to me were the ones at the register who did also greet me when I came in.

Great selection and always helpful staff! They keep their products from The Ordinary stocked and if you are looking for something they don’t have they will recommend another retailer that carries it or if possible, order it for you to pick up in store or send it right to your home

Good selection of products and I personally had great customer service here. I wanted to claim a deluxe sample here that I saw in a magazine ad, but they unfortunately didnt carry. However, the associate was super good with explaining the situation and told me to call and check back later to see if they would have it in stock at a different time.

I love Ulta but this store is lacking in basic product.. not to mention their staff are impolite and not willing to help you find things in their scattered store. Cera was really rude and had a bad attitude. She was trying to charge me for an eyeshadow palette instead of the original product being a brush.. she got an attitude when i kept saying that was the wrong item, at the end she threw the receipt and walked away. Never coming back here again

Love their products, and the rewards program! The staff are always friendly and eager to assist. I do wish that they would have more cashiers at checkout. The lines tend to get long on the busy weekends.

Great services

The African American security guard followed me around like I was a shoplifter. Anywhere I would walk she would walk right infront of me directly staring at me and always 3 feet away from me. It was really creepy and intimidating. I’m a UC Davis graduate and I work full time. When I brought it to the attention of the individuals working there, they completely didn’t care and were unfazed. Referring back to the other times I’ve visited this location, I’ve noticed the people working at this location are really stuck up and could care less about their customers. Horrible customer service.

Very clean store, wife and nieces love this place for for all there glamorous things. Lol. Lots of different products, face, hair, couldnt name it all. Also noligable staff as well. Wife was looking for certain hair product and they helped with no hesitation. Staff also had great ideas about other similar items. Thanks for helping.

Absolutely worst service I’ve had... every time I receive an email about a free item with purchase I try to get it and they never have it.. and then I contact the customer service and they do nothing but apologize.. how do you really reward your customers if they can’t even get the product.. then they sent me a $5 gift card after I complained saying I tried when they first told me I should of called before going to the store when I tried multiple stores.. and then when I tried to access the $5 gift card the page isn’t found.. not surprised.. I’ll just find somewhere else to shop for my items..

Thats the first time that this has ever happened to me and I still recommend them and Ill still keep going to them

I would give this location the lowest rate possible. I was not greeted when I walked. The sales associate were rude and not helpful, however, they had no issues following me around the whole time. I refuse to spend my money anywhere with that kind of treatment. I prefer the Lodi location. I will never go back to the Stockton Location!

It was very dirty and unorganized. Had little to nothing in the whole store. I found what I needed and went to get my free make up bag and she told me they were out so I asked when they would get more. She said she had no idea and didnt think they would get anymore even though the sale lasts 10 more days. And she had a very rude additude. They didnt even offer me anything for coming all the way there and waiting in line. I wont be going back :(

Ive only had one or two nice employees. I tried making conversation with the girl ringing me up and she looked at me like I was dumb or boring her. They need less people greeting you (I dont need four people welcoming me) and more people helping customers and behind the register, especially peak hours, i.e. 5pm

Employees are extremely rude, follow you while you trying to shop. Always out of stock, very rarely do they have items I need. Will stop shopping at Stockton Ulta, will go to Lodi service is better and shelves are stocked.

I had an awful experience at this Ulta I came in tonight right before closing with my best friend and purchased two eyeliners which came out to the price of 15.77 I paid with $100 bill my cashier was JAZMIN she told me my change that she was giving me was 84 and as soon as I walked out of Ulta to count my change I noticed I was $40 short when I went in and there was a middle-aged bald man working look to have been the manager who was rude from the start following me my best friend around the store and as we tested a product we removed it from our fingers using a tissue and set it down for one second at the area we were at by the mere planning on throwing it away but were finished testing out the tester product when he told us make sure to throw away your trash Ladies as if we were 10 years old and I responded with yes I was planning on to throw it away and he just said oh and walked off rudely not even trying to apologize for his rude assumption then with the money situation I came back in and it was him at the cashier I tell him she gave me the wrong change she looked at me and said she did not remember even though I was her last customer he tried to tell me there would be a process and that he would have to check the cameras which I dont understand because I stepped out of the store for literally a second and I was her last customer and I paid with a hundred he said over and over its a process and I asked him to please get the process going and and he tells me to calm down even though I did not raise my voice whatsoever and I told him sir you need to get my money or I will have to call law enforcement to get my money and he was very rude continue to tell me to calm down was treating me like he was not even working there I am a 18 year old girl and he is a grown man and he was speaking to me as if I was a literate I told him he was being very rude and he gave me back my money and try to tell me that I didnt need to shop here I told him no worry of that I will never go back to this Ulta again dont understand why I was treated badly for their mistake LOL no customer service whatsoever and so unprofessional..
