Customer service definitely needs to improve. I dont think we care to know if youre clocking out and in a rush to leave, I need you to kindly help to find my crafting material. Weve all obviously got places to go. Overall, my last shopping trip wasnt a pleasant experience.

The store is very complete and big. They have a 50% discount for certain items. They sale home decors, frames, art supplies and crafts.

It has been years since we visited this place. Amazingly great !!!We were going on Masked Singer Gathering on Zoom ( Bec of Pandemic ) n needed mask.We found 2 masks for my Hubby n I.And we walked in ... Like going to a candy store ... Lots stuff for your home .. beautiful stuff.Need to go back .. but will use SELFCONTROL !!!We were short of time n Im glad .. I could have been there for hours.But ... Need something for something for the home ... Heres the place to go ... Make your home pretty n cozy 🥰

The girl in the frame dept wasnt very personable or helpful, and they didnt carry the hardware I needed to put a poster together with foam backing and cardboard. It was way to expensive to have them do it- the glass or acrylic plastic was outrageous!However the fabric dept was friendlier and more helpful although when I asked her where something was you would just point. I had to ask her if she could show me where it was!Bottom line is they are too expensive and not helpful or friendly enough for their high prices.

They always have what I want and the employees are kind and courteous

Into arts and crafts? Love America and Jesus? Then this is your place to go. Bought an art supply carrying case, colored pencils, coloring book with scriptures from the Bible, some charcoal and a nice sketch book to explore my artistic abilities. God bless Hobby Lobby!

My only complaint is that there are never enough cashiers. I cant understand because there are a lot of employees on the floor. It just shows lack of management. Its still a good place to go. I will go back next time knowing I will have to wait.

Love this store you get lost in viewing all the cool merch they carry. I come this store for a lot of arts and craft supplies. Service is kinda light so you have to catch some one walking around to get assistance. Overall great store.

Really appreciate all the organization and all the options. The display of craft ideas is really cute the modeling of the products makes you explore what options are available for projects that you might want to do. However the staff could be more helpful and more welcoming. Instead of holding conversation amongst themselves that has nothing to do with work and then looking at you like theres something wrong with you when you point out that youre ready to purchase.

Love going to this hobby lobby...they have great sales and their sales associate are always helpful.

Loved this store! Last week was my 1st time visiting this store and my only issue was that I had not come sooner! The prices were a little high. But you can find coupons online like on *Retail Me Not* all of their products are high quality. The staff was friendly enough.... very clean and organized. Good sales. Their fake flowers made me double take! They look so real! The flowers were overpriced, but beautiful.

I shopped for about thirty minutes and headed towards the cashier. There was two cashiers. The line was six people long, not including the customers at the register. I really like Hobby Lobby and all the cool stuff that they have. All that said, Im not going to wait in a line that long for items other than groceries. Had to set down my intended purchases and leave Hobby Lobby. Maybe next time.

Great selection of items for just about any hobby. I love going here for decor items as well, a beautiful selection. They offer huge discounts on wall art that you cant beat anywhere else. I would give 5 stars except for the staff isnt very helpful. There are employees throughout what seems every department yet they dont offer any help locating items. Not one employee greeted me offering assistance.

They did away with the 40 percent off coupon. The lines are long and the cashiers seem to mess up a lot so be kind and be patient. I was a cashier and its just hard the way they have to type in all the amounts instead of scanning and they have to calculate in store sales. Ridiculous to ask of them if you want to go for speedy check out. Hopefully you go on a day when you have lots of time on your hands ! Happy crafting

The store has a lot to offer I love going there but theyre salespeople ARE NOT very friendly and Ive been in the store several times throughout the years.

I have been in this store before but just quickly for a specific item. This past trip, I was looking for several things and I noticed that they have a large variety of craft supplies. One thing I was surprised to see was they carry stained glass supplies. I loved making stained glass projects many years ago, but when the only store in town that had the supplies closed, I quit. Anyway, this store has a good variety of options for crafting and DIYers..

This store is VERY clean, organized & staffed with friendly workers. I also love that they rotate their big 50% off sales.

Its okay it could be great ...5 stars but because of its location I get treated bad and I get profiled I believe its being that its in Stockton so everybody gotta be stealing and thats not true so they need to stop with the shanangins

Im older and get really overwhelmed by large stores. I chanced trying the Lobby. Very nice. Very clean and organized. Associates friendly. I just took my time and walked in circles as much as I wanted and asked for help when I have up looking myself. Lol Oh I had a question about a sale sign. I called the store and asked. Easier than looking for someone to ask. Finally I appreciate the early hour for seniors and risk factors. Many continued blessings.

Hobby Lobby is doing an exceptional job of making customers feel safe shopping during the pandemic. Not only that, but they have managed to keep shelves fairly well stocked and their seasonal inventory is just as good as its always been. For us crafty people, Hobby Lobby is the place to head to make holidays, and every day, just a little happier and more sparkly.

Tons of nice items, but everything is all over the place. I wanted 3 frames, 11x14. They were everywhere but who has time to walk over the entire store looking at frames and everything in between? And I love to shop-lol. I gave up after 15 or 20 mins of looking. Too confusing-sic. Plus the checkout lines were ridiculously long and slow.

Such friendly staff! They were rearranging lots of the displays and were amazing at helping me find things in their new spot!

I absolutely love the staff here. I am always greeted at the entrance and the staff on the floor are extremely helpful, friendly as well as knowledgeable and professional.

Its a great place to shop! it would just be nice if the employees were a little more knowledgeable about where items were located .but all employees are super friendly that I have came in contact with.

Dad visit was my first time going there. They had a lot of variety of different stuff next time I will go and browse around. If you want to start a hobby thats the best place to go to get your supplies. Its very interesting.

I had come in at a busy time while new seasonal product was being placed, it was difficult to find someone to assist with a locked paint cabinet at first. As soon as a second associate called again over the speaker for help we got someone to come through and help us. The employee last name Reyes explained the situation and why there was a delay, which is more than he needed to. At the counter the manager found that the item I purchased was on sale and had the cashier re ring the order for the new sales that had started the day before. Never had a experience getting paint or fabric

They have supplies for many arts and crafts intrest and a variety of findings to finish your project. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing that I think they have too much of is premade items that can be found in other stores. But thats just my opinion.

This is the place to go for arts and Crafts. There was a very large Christmas section with great sale and its only October. Was not too crowded and everyone wore masks. Love Hobby Lobby

The last time I was at a hobby shop was around 30 years ago. Back then it was a very small place that was mostly geared to model cars or slot cars and airplanes. But the Hobby Lobby is nothing I expected. This place is HUGE. Easily 20,000sqft. It has pretty much anything you could want if you can think it up. If you are or want to be crafty in any way come hear. I just needed a very small amount of paint to do some detailing. Home stores smallest amount was 50 times more than I needed. Plus the staff is very easy going and lite hearted. Made me laugh a few times.

The selection of basic supplies is decent, but hardly makes up for everything else.The entire chain refuses to update their inventory and register systems past the 1940s (everything is entered by hand and there are no barcodes for tracking inventory, good luck finding specialty items) this also tends to result in several aisles full of cardboard boxes when they need to restock (which is often).This particular store is understaffed; long lines and virtually no staff is available to help answer questions or direct you toward items.And FORGET about finding holiday supplies for anything but Christmas (there is a dedicated Christmas section that is stocked nearly year round, and they NEVER have Halloween decor). The hyper religious atmosphere is off-putting and makes me feel unwelcome in the store. I try to get in and out as fast as possible (which, again, is impossible because of the lines).Its the most conveniently located craft supply store in the area, which honestly just makes me angry because theyve put better stores in the area out of business. Especially because if you want anything special (anything more than solid coloured nylon or cotton fabric, quality fasteners, sewing patterns, quality paints, clay, illustrating markers, etc.) or to get helpful staff knowledgeable in anything other than scrapbooking, you have to drive up to an hour away to a specialty store. More often than not, I go in here and spend half an hour combing through their shelves only to discover that they dont carry what Im looking for. (And their website inventory doesnt reflect their actual inventory because of the outdated system, so you cant look it up)This place ruined the hobby store ecosystem in Stockton, and I still HAVE to shop here simply due to the price of gas.

I am still able to find certain things to do for my sewing instead of so much craft.

Very impressed with the variety of products they carry, not just general items associated with certain hobbies but a few odds and ends stuff as well that would be difficult to find elsewhere. There isnt much engagement in customer service by the employees here but they are friendly and will assist if asked. Overall this place has earned my repeat business and I always look forward to my next visit.

Huge store with so many things! I love the variety and sales are good also! Here’s what I hate: they have old outdated computers for check out. Everything has to be manually priced and typed in! Don’t even dare return something! Omg! They have to manually type in each return item. Lol I returned like 10 things that I ended up not needing and it took forever! She said the owners won’t upgrade their computer systems. At other stores, they just scan the item and ta-da the pricing and everything registers. Not Hobby, they don’t have that luxury yet. Another thing, the lines are always long when I go in. Even on a weekday. They only open every other register due to Covid. So be prepared to stand in line a while! Checkout register #1 is for returns. Don’t stand in that line if you just have a purchase. You’ll be waiting forever.

You can always find great bargains but sometimes its too crowded for whats going on and the lady in the fabric cutting area is really rude. But overall still a good place to shop.

I just recently discovered Hobby Lobby and have now been to two stores - one in Stockton, CA and now this one in Lodi, CA. Im kinda in love with Hobby Lobby stores. So much cool stuff to look at and buy.They were having a 30% off sale on several different brands of the little bottles of Acrylic craft paint so they were out of a lot of colors in each brand. Luckily for me, one of the brands still had the colors I was looking for.They have ALL sorts of stuff in their stores - which are huge, btw. They have paintings and the little inspirational and comical signs to hang up around the home. They have Christmas decorations and cards, needles, thread, cloth and patterns. Dollhouses and furnishings, woodworking stuff... Just tons of fascinating things (at least to me!).

We love going to Hobby Lobby. I love doing arts and crafts, especially making candles or soaps and Hobby Lobby definitely has a lot more selections than Michaels at least here in Stockton. Its very clean and organized here. The only downfall I would say is they need more people working at the cash registers other than that its a great place to purchase your home decor or craft essentials. Great prices as well!

Such a sad and disappointing experience. I had 2 styrofoam heads which had a 50% off tag hanging in front of them that said “Eva Cosplay Foam 50% off”... literally hanging IN FRONT of ONLY the Foam heads... so I was lead to believe they were the 50% off item. I got to the register and they rang full price so I mentioned to the cashier that they said they were 50% off. He said he would ask his manager “Carol” who came over and not only 100% refused to honor the posted discount but was extremely confrontational and went so far as to go back to the heads, take the sign down and find the item the sign was supposed to be hanging by and bring them BOTH back to the register to tell me that she wouldn’t honor it... all AFTER I had told them to put the heads back and had completely paid but was only still in the store waiting on my friend to check out. She said an employee had hung the sign in the wrong place and she would not honor it.
