Worked with Warrick Wilson to buy a Genesis G80 from Great Lakes. I found the car online and worked with Warrick on the purchase. I ended up driving over 4 hours to get the car, but in the end was worth the time and effort. The car was ready to go and as he described. The car is simply amazing. Ive purchased a couple other cars in the past so I have some experience with car dealerships and some general car knowledge. Recently, my last car was totaled by another driver and the insurance process was about as fun as you can imagine. After going through all that, it was so wonderful to have such a terrific and smooth experience when buying a new car.Rick was incredibly nice and got me the information I was looking for. I mentioned that I may have to review some personal financial aspects before diving into a purchase, and he let me know he was understanding and that if Im not truly sure about the purchase, hes not going to pressure me. I went with my dad to purchase a vehicle, and hands down it was the best experience on a car lot that either of us has had! We had Josh (aka juicebox) as our salesman and I was not disappointed in his ability to explain things and then walk my dad through how to work everything in the car! The customer service we received was outstanding! We then dealt with TJ for financing and again Amazing! The shear ability to be so friendly and explain things we needed explained was outstanding. We left with no questions left unanswered. We are an hour away and will gladly go back and refer them to anyone we know looking for a new vehicle!
No trouble beyond normal maintenance items, until 184,000 miles when the engine blew. This dealership provided a new engine, related parts, and a loaner car, all under the standard (NOT extended) warranty. Total cost to me: $0. Keep that in mind next time youre shopping for cars.

I get my car serviced here and i have to say Jake, Lucas and the entire service team are great i have been working with them for years and they display great customer service by communicating pricing, explaining the problem, and just delivering great customer care overall. Im typically in and out every time and while i wait its so quiet and clean and not to mention they have the best coffee machine everr.!!!! I cant thank them enough for taking such wonderful care of my car unfortunately it my car was recently totaled in an accident but it was running for 6 almost 7 years without any major issues and I honestly can say I believe it would have ran much longer. I look forward to purchasing my next Hyundai soon.

Stopped to see which new cars they had. Mostly used were in the front of the lot. I was told they had very little new inventory and I wouldnt find new cars at any dealership. This was not my first stop so I knew that was untrue. When I made it clear I was not interested in a used car, then they had some new cars.... They did not have what I want but salesman was pressuring me to get an offer on something I did not want. What really angered me is that I only gave this salesman my name. The next day I and my family started receiving emails and phone calls from him!
Ryan from service was super helpful. I needed my battery replaced as well as a headlight fixed and he got me also set. He also found a nail in my tire and arranged for that to be replaced on very short notice. Ryan explained the scope of all the work to me very well and was upfront about the cost/timeline for service. The price for the work was reasonable and the work was completed in a timely manner. I plan on using Streetsboro Hyundai for stuff like this in the future—thanks Ryan!

Be weary buying used car here. Of course when buying a new car, care must be taken to inspect the car, but at a dealership like this you expect some level of integrity. Would not trust them again, new or used.

For six years I have enjoyed the Hyundai Experience. However, when a dealership puts their own interest above my interest as the customer, and refuses to make things right where there are clear errors on their end, it is time to find a better dealership.My latest lease deal was full of misleading information that led me to make a deal I would have never made. I was lied to and given false information, that cost me thousands of dollars in this deal. I was sold a service plan I did not need that cost me time, hassle, new paper work having to be signed a year later.I will no longer use Hyundai after this lease experience. I would recommend others avoid this self serving dealership as well.

Great service department. Chose them over 2 other Hyundai dealerships I had dealt with previously that had very poor service, so I was willing to drive farther to try Great Lakes. They did great, were professional and quick, washed my car on both occasions, and fulfilled my expectations. They replaced a coil under warranty, did a checkup, and also informed me of and petformed a recall. They were awesome!
I gave Great Lakes a 5 not only because I got the same great service I’d come to expect. Great Lakes has done my service since I bought my Santa Fe in 2015. I also got answers to some questions that were not related to that day’s service. Rachelle Weatherholt patiently discussed the pending recall on the ABS brakes. Great Lakes is still awaiting guidance from corporate. Lastly Ms. Weatherholt talked about the internet system that I’ve been notified will no longer be supported after 12/31. Something to do a third party and 5G support. I hope a fix will be found so I can keep using remote ignition and other features in 2022. Ms. Weatherholt is new and a good hire.Lastly Lucas Rigby greeted me, by name, when I arrived even thought I wasn’t working with him this time. He had worked with me on prior visits. As a first time car buyer, I was fortunate to make my purchase at this dealership last November. I had concerns about being taken advantage of because of my inexperience, and could not afford to take a loss on such an expensive purchase. TJ, who I highly recommend, was the most phenomenal sales person I could ask for. He’s genuine and transparent, knows the answer to all your questions, and at the time, their top salesperson by far (I’d bet he still is). Oh, and TJ is 100% no pressure. He said that it doesn’t make a difference to him if I purchase the add on services offered, his goal is to earn repeat business, not nickel and dime.Today in the mail, I received a handwritten thank you note with a free oil change certificate and scratch off inside. My oil needs to be changed for the first time as of 3 days ago, and I won $2.I really appreciate good customer service, and I’m happy to see that it rewards those who aim to please, like TJ. It’s hard to come by these days.

Drove an hour down to look at leasing a car. First they told us they had a bunch of cars on the lot. We get there they have two. It was less than 5hrs since i talked to him on the phone when he told me about the cars. I talked to a young kid who was the most cringe salesman you will ever meet in your life. Typical salesman nonsense that a child wouldnt fall for. The kid might want to try a new profession cause he couldnt handle the slightest detail by himself he needed his manager for everything. Where im really upset is there promotion online said the car was $175 with %0 down which is a great deal that no one could pass up. Now i know there are going to be taxes and SOME FEES but the final price pre month was $230? I was expecting somewhere around $200-$210? We tried to wiggle the price slightly we werent going for some tremendous steal but $220 would have done it. You guys suck. Nice bait and switch. Hope you guys have slow spring.

They sold my friend a stolen vehicle and then continued to try to justify it. This is after he drove it around for a week not knowing it was stolen, they called him and said bring the car back and dont get pulled over. Really!!! He couldve been arrested, and charged with grand theft auto. He had his baby in the car. Could you imagine what couldve happened. They didnt even care it seemed like. They bought a stolen vehicle from an auction sold it to my friend without checking the vehicle thoroughly enough. NOT TRUST WORTHY AT ALL!!

When we purchased our car from here a few years ago, we were assured that if we came to that specific location in the future for services, we wouldnt have to pay the $100 deductible. We confirmed it before making our appointment this week, even though we had to drive an hour out of our way.We also wanted to double check that we would be given a loaner vehicle while ours was being serviced. We were told they were out of them. As loyal customers who purchased our vehicle with them, and out of hundreds of cars on the lot, they couldnt figure something out for us?Because of this, my husband and I both had to drive separate cars to drop our vehicle off for our appointment time. They told us theyd contact us when they knew what the issue was, and because we were an hour away from home, we stayed close to the dealership. After hours of trying to keep busy so far from home and not hearing back from the dealership, we called to find out they knew what the issue was, they just hadnt called us to let us know itd be in the shop for several hours more than what they said.Long story short, they ended up charging us the $100 deductible anyway. We could have gone to the hyundai dealership 10 minutes from home, saved 4.5 hours of drive time, AND had a loaner vehicle. We had planned on purchasing a new vehicle from this dealership for our growing family in the next month or two, but we are seriously doubting doing so now. We would probably not not use GLH in the future for service either. So disappointing.

I had received some advertising in the mail about some specials Great Lakes was having so I stopped in. TJ Klinkowicz was my salesman. I was extremely impressed by his knowledge and ability to read me. He knew the exact car to show me. I test drove the 2021 Sonata and fell in love with it. The guys at Hyundai Great Lakes in the oil change department were better than fantastic! All around amazing experience. I contacted Scott a week or so ago (the kind rep who got my lease set up) asking about where to go for the oil change, etc. He was so quick in responding, got me the number for the location, and even called and spoke to Alex I believe, and had them take care of the complimentary oil service even though I had lost the first complimentary service card in the mail (many moves).I scheduled the appointment and then accidentally ended up going to the wrong location due to a GPS issue. When I called the shop, the guy offered to stay late to accommodate me and was then very kind and comforting when I asked if I could reschedule as it had been a long day working at the hospital and at this point, I just wanted to go home.When I was about to arrive at my rescheduled appointment, I called to ask where to pull in to and again, he was so kind and helpful. They were very informative, took great care of my car, and switched out my tire as I had driven over a nail that was perforating the sidewall of my left back tire.Overall, I absolutely adored working with the staff at Great Lakes Hyundai and would highly recommend. Car dealerships have a rep of being kind of douchebags, but not these ones.

The service department was really good. The people that work there were very nice and helpful. I would recommend getting your car serviced there.
Loved my experience there. The service department definitely got me together right. The service was quick. I really wish I would have bought my car through them, instead of Ganley west.
I did not purchase my Hyundai Kona from Great Lakes, but I have taken it there to be serviced for oil changes. The first couple of times was a pleasant experience. I did have to take my vehicle in to have the steering column replaced. The day I took it in the service writers saw that I had a loaner can to use overnight. The next day when I picked up my car I approached the cashier and told her I was here to pick up my vehicle which was being serviced, gave her my name and her reply was a sigh and an eye roll. I asked her if she was having a bad day and she said everyday is bad. There is no service with a smile from this particular cashier at Great Lakes Hyundai. I did call and talk to the Assistant Service Manager and I am still waiting for an email apology from the General Manager or the Cashier herself.
Excellent customer service and professional. Worked on my vehicle that I have purchased from another Hyundai dealership. I will definitely be back to service my vehicle at this location.
David was very patient with me as I never bought a car on my own before. He immediately put me at ease because I could see how knowledgeable he was with Hyundai. He took his time with me and showed me many options! I felt I knew what I wanted and I got my new car! I am so happy with my new lease! Best ever!
I was super interested in a car at this dealership and asked for a 24 hour test drive to make sure that it fit in my lifestyle. I was told to accept the price and buy the car outright for a test drive. A day test drive was no issue at any other dealership. So I chose a certified car from a more credible dealership.Dont buy from here unless you like Snake Oil Management and not being trusted.
This hands down is my go to dealership for service. Luke is the most outstanding service advisor. He guided me through the entire process of my oil consumption test which led to Hyundai replacing my 2011 Sonatas engine. Where I felt Hyundai made a huge blunder in the manufacturing of my engine, They at least stood behind their brand and took care of me Im still a loyal Hyundai owner and will remain with the brand ongoing. My next Hyundai purchase will be at Great Lakes for certain. Thank you!

I stopped in at Great Lakes Hyundai without an appointment to see if they could replace my windshield wipers and fix my clock as it was not allowing me to change back to EST.I figured it would be at least a half an hour to do this. Within fifteen minutes I was called and everything was taken care of.I have always had excellent, polite service and am extremely satisfied.
I shopped online before coming to the dealership to finalize my purchase of a used vehicle. On the plus side, they were very responsive on email and gave me a better deal on my trade-in than some other dealerships I was looking at. On the downside, I had a very frustrating experience at the dealership. They pushed way too hard on financing there and then slow-walked the process so much that my local bank had closed and couldnt process the paperwork in time--so I had to finance through the dealer. They also pushed the extra protections too hard--while continuously saying whatever you want to do is fine. Then, when I went to leave with the vehicle I purchased, they told me it came with only one key and that the good news was that I could purchase another one at my local Hyundai dealer for about $100. Arent you a Hyundai dealer? Why cant you make one here? Oh, the missing key was factored into the price I was told. The final straw was when they tried to send me away without a front license plate because the vehicle was missing a license plate holder--the law will change in August anyway I was told. After I pointed out that August was 6 months away, they finally agreed to install a plate holder so that I could drive away from the dealership legally.
As we were waiting for the car service to be completed, It was quite interesting that when my wife and I took some time to look at the new cars in the showroom there was no effort on the part of any of the sales people to assist us. They were all sitting at their desks doing whatever, and no one either approached us, or even asked at a distance across the room from their desk if we needed any assistance. It reminded me of the time I was in a restaurant with someone years ago and they told the waitress you know, you could easily sell me some dessert if you would just ask me. We then went outside and intently looked at a few used cars. No prices on the vehicles, and no one to ask. So we said whatever -- and went back to the waiting area. By the way: your service department and people were excellent, as always.
