I am from out of town, but I was looking to buy a used van. I took the vehicle to Jimyz Automotive and they did a full detailed inspection. They gave me an honest detailed report and advised me not to purchase the van, saving me thousands of dollars. I am so grateful. Lisa the office manager was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, professional, and really took care of us as we waited. I know that if I every find another used car near Streetsboro Ohio, I will be well taken care of.

Would not recommend. Jimmy (the owner) refuses to speak to customers face to face or even over the phone despite customer request. He insists on having his secretary answer all questions and concerns now who unfortunately is very rude, unprofessional, and ill informed. I recently bought brand new (supposedly) all season tires that went bad and needed to be replaced at 20,000 miles which is unheard of. These tires were specifically recommended to me by Jimmy who claimed they were excellent tires. When I brought my car in to discuss with Jimmy he refused to speak to me about it and deferred everything to Lisa the secretary who was less than helpful and kept calling me by the wrong name. When going over other tire options she didn’t know the difference between an all season tire and a snow tire and openly told me she’s ordered the wrong tires for customers in the past. They refused to give me a refund for previous faulty tires. Would not recommend. Save your money and go somewhere else. Currently filing a complaint with the BBB. Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Very frustrating and disappointing. Big safety concern.

When the Toyota dealer seemed unsure of how to fix the exhaust we decided to try here based on reviews from Facebook. They could not be more correct! They were amazing! We got an immediate appointment, excellent work, excellent price. Then right before we were going out of town, we needed something looked at. They got us in same day! Great company! They will get all our business in the future.

Mixed emotions here. I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new mechanic.They were able to get my car in quickly and had it done same day, the people were friendly and professional, but the price seemed steep.I understand they dont have control when prices go up for parts, but it feels like gouging when you see the part online retail for half of what they charged you. Maybe it was a different quality part, maybe they were marking them up.Next time I will call my old mechanic for a quote first. If I have to drive over an hour for a few hundred dollars of savings, so be it.

Tried to schedule to have shocks installed need to see vehicle first before schedule. They cant tell me when I see a leaking shock to have them replaced, had to take to Vans they did a great job and done in a half hour.

This was by far the cleanest and nicest automotive shops that I have ever been to. They were professional and quick. They exemplified service with a smile and charged a fair price. My mom and I broke down on the turnpike and he was able to look at the car and get it up and running in less than two hours. On top of it all they let us have a rental and we went out to lunch while we waited. Phenomenal service through and through.

My college aged daughter took her (my) car in due to an issue with the headlights, and also for an oil change and tire rotation. They were honest, prompt, and respectful. I have been going to Jimyz Automotive now for a couple of years. I know that dealing with a car and upkeep and maintenance is not the first priority on everyones minds but if you are going to do it go to Jimyz Automotive. They stand behind their work and have a no nonsense approach to your car. Not to mention they are all friendly! I often times get a service done and if it is a routine service I wait (plus they have free muffins and stuff! ). Finding a mechanic you can trust is hard to do and Jimyz is the place.

They treated my old rust-bucket Jeep like any other customers car. It was done on time, UNDER estimate and gave me a free loaner to get back to work in. Id recommend this shop to anyone in need of car repair. Professional and affordable, you cant get any better than that. Two big thumbs up.

Labor cost is on the high end, but they know what they are doing and if something goes wrong the owner does what he can to make it right. Being able to trust a mechanic is worth far more than trying to find the cheapest shop out there.

I love this place!! My car broke down while I was driving. Clutch just wanted to stick to the floor instead of work properly. It did take about a week. But Jimy and Lisa kept communicating with me, keeping me up to speed with what was going on. My car ended up needing new lines for the clutch and luckily just a Slave cylinder, not the master cylinder. The car feels so much better! I am so happy with how my car is feeling. Thank you, you guys! I will definitely be using your shop again in the future! Hopefully not the near future though lol

I took my truck in for tic noise in the engine they were the third place I had been nobody could find were the noise was coming from and instead of just taking my money He suggested I get another opinion first. Very honest people to work with I highly recommend them.

Had to have my heat shield looked at, took it to Toyota where they estimated it’d cost $90. I just lost my job and really wasn’t trying to pay that so I brought it here and they fixed it for free and only took 5 minutes. Thank you guys I really appreciate it and so does my wallet!! Will definitely bring my car troubles back to you.

A++ Highly recommend. Great service and even better prices, came in about $400 under all other shops in the area. Used the loaner program as well! Went in for a fuel injector replacement and no up sale or unneeded repairs recommended like most places do. Overall very delightful experience and loved finding the free pack off gum with a thank you note in my car. Thanks again and I will be bringing my other car up soon!

Jimmy had me rolling in a courtesy vehicle for the day and took my car in with no appointment. Everything was completed same day, costs were fair and the car came back running great again. Great experience, again.

My car began having engine trouble, so I dropped it off at Jimyz on a Sunday night. The next morning, he called me to give me the price and we discussed what he planned to do to my car. Within only an hour or so, he called again to let me know that my car was ready for pickup.It’s been about 2 months, and my engine is still running great. The price was about $250 less than I expected, and I couldn’t believe how fast he was able to get everything done. I have been ripped off by a few other auto shops in the area, and so I’m relieved to have finally found a place I can rely on.

Everyone was very nice. Let me use a loaner car so I could go back to work. Automotive repairs are always costly but I felt it was reasonable.

My blower for my heat in my SUV had went out. Jimyz were able to fix it for a reasonable price. Although my car was down Jimyz made sure I was still able to get around because they have loaner cars. So I didnt have to depend on nobody for a ride and I was able to get my kids to school and daycare as well as get myself to work. Although my Vehicle needs other work done Jimyz made me aware of that but didnt force me to get it fixed like most shops would have. Theyre nice and friendly men and make sure they get the job done correctly and in a timely manner

When my son broke down in Streetsboro today, I had no idea who to call in that area since we dont live close by. I found Jimyz on line and saw the good reviews. I have to say that those reviews are spot on. They restored our vehicle to working order in less than an hour and got my son back on the road. I really appreciate their excellent customer service (Rob) and quick diagnosis of the problem!

Incorrect diagnosis that would have charged me 400$ to fix some rear brake, bleed the lines, and remove some rust. This wasnt even this issue, it was a master cylinder failure. This incorrect diagnosis could have led to an accident, if not caught by another garage.

Great service, reasonable prices, wont try to talk you into bogus repairs. Got my scion running like a dream. Highly recommend.

I took my 2013 hyundai for an oil change and a diagnosis on a bad sound in my steering column. Jim and his team finally figured out that a bushing was the.culprit. while they were fixing it, Jim gave me a loner car to go do what I needed to do. I so appreciated that. Jimyz has been the very best for all my vehicle needs over the past 13 years. I recently moved from Streetsboro to GA and pray I can find a mechanic half as good as Jim. Plan and Simple they are good people. He believes in fixing the problem not simply replacing everything. It may be easier to charge the customer for a whole new exhaust system because of a broken bolt but is it the RIGHT thing to do. NO!. Jim will make sure it is fixed right and not charge the customer thousands more in parts.

Had my car towed to Jimmyz because it was over heating. The thermostat needed changed and the coolant needed flushed. He has a machine that does a great job of flushing out all the bad and puts back in good coolant. He gave me a price for the flush, a new thermostat and new hoses. He had it fixed the same day for a reasonable charge. I recommend Jimmyz to anyone that needs a trustworthy mechanic.

I have taken both of my cars there, and continue to receive an honest diagnosis, in a timely manner, and a good price. This is after another shop misdiagnosed an issue, Jimyz diagnosed the real issue, and saved me thousands (sounds to good to be true, but it was a matter of a relay vs a catalytic converter).

They got my car in without an appointment. Made the repairs I wanted, found shotty work performed by the dealer- I agree with their diagnosis- and repaired that too. All for less money than I thought the origainal repair would cost.

Very nice gentlemen. I brought my truck in when the a/c went out without an appointment. He had it checked out and noted the compressor locked up and recommended I took it to a dealer since it would be under warranty. He even called the dealer for me to see if they could repair it right away. Since it would take a few days and I was from out of state, he assured me that I could travel safely, just with no a/c. He didnt charge me for his services nor would he accept any money. Thank you and I highly recommend his business.
