On September 12 I bought a table at City Furniture in Jensen Beach. The employee told me that I will need to wait until October 8, that day they never came, they never called me and when I went to check on the web side, they told me that they were going to send it on December 4. I called customer service even spoke to the manager, they didnt give me any solution. The next day they sent me an email saying that the delivery would be on October 23 and once again when checking on the web side it says that the delivery will be on December 4. I called customer service they offered me another table but none fit what I need, also, I am the customer and I am the one who pays and the one who chooses. I said that the solution is that they send me the table they have in the store and on December 4 they send me MY table and they also refused, but what they clarified is that I have to make the payments on time because otherwise that will be a problem for me. I am really confused WHO is the CUSTOMER! .

We we chose City furniture to find what we were looking for 2 chairs & a love seat. No plan on color. Or style Steven H. showed us a section where recliners chairs where displayed.we chose chair with adjustable Head! price was right! Also on the way I found an accent chair sooo comfortable added to our purchase. Lastly we saw a beautiful love seat in a shade of deep blue was the right design & comfort level. Within an hour of entering we left with sofa & chair to be delivered in 2 days. Recliner available for delivery on My Husband’s Birthday! How lucky is that!!!

I would give them a zero if I could. Their return policy aid horrible. Coffee table delivered damaged. Unrepairable. They offer a voucher for an exchange. I’ve had the coffee table for 2.5 months in my condo. Im storing their broken furniture. They refuse to take until I find something new and have that delivered. Nothing I want pulse delivery is six months out. Seriously??!!

I shopped in store and had a very pleasant experience. The showroom is beautiful and the sales woman was kind and professional. The process was seamless and walking around I saw so many fabulous home accents that I will have to come back. Highly recommend shopping at the Stuart City Furniture showroom!
We ordered a bed and mattress and was told everything would be delivered a month out (due to COVID). The sales rep called several times to confirm delivery of both items, and we received email and text confirmations that the items would be delivered on the same day. The day of delivery arrived, and we received emails and texts that both items were in route. The delivery truck arrives, and we only received the bed frame. We contacted the sales rep, and he told us that we would have to wait until the next day to figure out what happened to the mattress and hopefully have it delivered. This is after he says they do not where the mattress is. Extremely frustrated because we now have a bed frame with no mattress and thus no where to sleep. I guess well see if the mattress arrives tomorrow.Update: Great news! The mattress did arrive the next day, but it was not easy. We were on the phone with City Furniture for hours and went to the physical location the next morning. They were finally able to locate the mattress and get it on the truck for delivery. The process was extremely frustrating, but we received our product and didnt have to wait another week (like they told us we would). The social media team reached out to me, and I received multiple follow-up calls to make sure the issue was resolved. I updated the star count from 1 to 4 because the social media team, customer service team, and store worked together to get the problem resolved. However, Im not sure if the problem wouldve been resolved so quickly if we hadnt complained and contacted corporate because the store was telling us it would take a week.
Michael Torres was excellent! In close to 40 years that I have worked with city furniture way back when, when it was waterbed city… he was the most personable, most helpful, if he didn’t have an answer he went and found out! he was great and I totally would recommend anybody that was going to go buy anything, that they work with him! He is in the Stuart location!

Saw a nice grayish-brown table and chairs on the showroom, but when they were delivered to the house they werent so grayish, just more brown, which didnt match our decor.We called the store, but to our surprise, the furniture could not be returned or exchanged. We offered to pay for the furniture to be picked up, and/or return it ourselves, but apparently per policy, in-store purchases are only refunded if you cancel your purchase one day prior to scheduled delivery, or you can cancel the day of and pay $99.99 restocking fee.Meanwhile, if we had ordered online, we could have received a full refund if we had canceled the purchase within three days after receipt of delivery. As illogical as that all is, I guess shame on us for not reading the fine print.Funny thing is, the replacement table and chairs we wanted were much more expensive, so by refusing the exchange they essentially lost money, and they lost more money when we canceled the guest bedroom furniture we had ordered during our original visit.Well, I guess they didnt lose money since they got ours, but they did lose customers, and our negative word of mouth campaign has been in full force since.
We purchased the Porto leather sectional and when it was delivered the first time, It had scratches and the leather was wrinkled making the sectional look used and it was dirty. I sent pictures to customer care and explained the issues with the sofa. They took care of it by sending another sectional. The second sectional was a little better, but some pieces were still wrinkled and it’s also dirty, can’t just wipe it clean. When their tech was sent out a second time, the guy said he couldn’t fix the sofa but that he would document it in his notes that we would like an exchange. He said CustomerCare would contact me within 24-48 hours.Customer care never contacted me within that time frame so I contacted them. The customer service rep, Maria, ID# 14983, stated that the leather sofa is supposed to have wrinkles. She also said that I REFUSED to have my sofa repaired by the tech and that I wanted a refund. I never said anything about a refund and I never refused to have them fix the sectional. The tech was the one that said he couldn’t fix it. I went to the store to speak to my sales person, which she wasn’t there, I spoke to a really nice salesperson and manager who want to help but this has to go through customer care. I received call yesterday from a customer care specialist who then said because of the time frame this has to go through warranty, he transferred me to warranty where I was on hold for 50 minutes before I hung up. All I want is to exchange this sectional for another one because after two tries, I don’t want to experience a third time with the same issues. Customer care is terrible to deal with, you can never get through to them and the third part company they use for the repairs is useless.
Frank greeted us at the door and said to let him know if we needed help. We were looking for a desk, king bedroom set and mattress. He was extremely helpful and not pushy in any way. He had excellent knowledge of the showroom floor, had iPad in hand to tell me when the items would be available and made sure I got the mattress and base that best fit my needs. She went above and beyond in trying to ascertain if I was still eligible for free replacement, which we were not, and then placed my order for me, and advised on back order. When buying furniture go to Gabriel Cordero as your sales person. He is amazing! He made the process easy. Made sure all pieces of furniture was available before delivery as I had requested. Showroom furniture and sales team were fine. However our entertain center was delivered and we were told that the main piece was damaged so they weren’t taking it off the truck, and would process claim for it. We were told to expect call within 48 hours about it. Never happened. We waited a few more days then called to follow up. Nothing was ever documented and they claimed they had to investigate to ensure it was not delivered, connect with delivery driver etc. Then discover the glass on one of entertainment doors is barely hanging on because only 2 of the 4 rubber seals were there. Still waiting for that to be resolved. We purchased large dining room table with leaf to extend. First time attempting this it would not slide apart, appeared caught and split wood in two places. Now it won’t close. We completed an online claim and were told a technician would be out today 12-4. No one ever came. I called customer service who clearly has no clue, can’t find the technician or how to contact them, and then asks me questions indicating our first outstanding claim rather than the one supposed to be addressed today despite me providing the service number. I was on the phone for over half an hour then got hung up on. Attempted calling back multiple times and currently on hold for now 26 minutes. There is no follow through or concern for quality of product or customer service. I will not be buying anything from this company again.
Just stopped in to buy some new chairs. No one asked if I needed help. Finally asked someone myself. When he goes and checks on an item for me but never comes back. I finally locate him and he tells me “oh sorry I forgot to come back snd tell you” Seriously they need some better sales people!
I was shopping for an electric recliner and had narrowed it down to 3. I was told I would get an email with the information and pictures of my choices. I received the email without pictures. I emailed back asking about the pictures and was told I could look them up by brand on your website. I did and they did not come up. We had to return to the store to review my choices. I ordered one but it doesnt arrive for a couple of weeks. Salesman was nice enough but didnt seem to know his job as well as he should. Customers should not be inconvenienced!

We bought a couch, table, and chairs and the table base came broken (cracked in half). That was resolved quickly because I was able to talk to someone through customer service but not normally the case when you call in, my couch was on back order and when I finally received the couch the slipcover was damaged (which ruins the couch) and basically needed a new couch. They offered to send me a new slip cover that was on back order too and thats not really the options I wanted but we couldnt move the couch again as it was a pain to get into the room to begin with. So I accepted that offer and have been waiting for the slipcover for 6 to 8 weeks after already waiting a while for a couch that was on back order and no slip cover yet. So its been passed 8 weeks now and I call get put on hold for 20 min and its not the first time Ive tried calling (last time waited for 20min and never spoke to anyone and no call back, finally switch to text messages while on my call to see if I can speak to someone faster. I did get through that way but then it went no where because she said sorry my slipcover I have been waiting for is no longer available, like what?! Ive been waiting for a new slipcover and no one was going to tell me it was never coming after that was set up by a supervisor to happen! A supervisor set it all up for me months ago to receive in 6 to 8 weeks and now nothing! So now I have a damaged couch after waiting months for them to fix it! Now supposedly the slipcover is not available! No one was ever going to tell me that the slipcover for my couch was never coming! This is fraud! Selling an item and it comes damaged and then not resolving it. Beware people they do not give refunds on damaged items! They offered me $145 on a almost $1,000 couch I purchased! $145! Ridiculous! Costumer service is a joke! Good luck to any of you going through this.

I bought a sectional back in August 2020 and the mechanism on the recliner didn’t work. Took a month to get it replaced. Then I bought a dining set on Black Friday and they told me after the sale that it will take two months to get delivered. When it gets here two chairs have damaged. Then four months later I noticed the base cracking and I never sat on the table since I have another dining set I use. They told me I have to pay $50 for a “tech” to see the damages. Why should I pay someone’s gas when a million dollar company sold me a defected item. If I used the table I wouldn’t waste my time trying to get a hold of someone for an hour. But the fact of the matter is that the table never been used. So there solution is to charge me some more for their defected table they have sold me. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! Your better off spending a little bit more elsewhere and not dealing with the headache I’ve had to deal.
The worse Shopping experience EVER didnt get what I ordered. Had a problem with the delivery date they changed and didnt inform me. And didnt get a FULL Refund when they picked up the incorrect Furniture they delivered.

Just bought a lot of new furniture for a new place. We got lucky with the best salesman, make sure you ask for John, he knows his stuff and is experienced even though he is so young. He made great suggestions in our budget. He set up deliveries and told us the secrets. Check thus place out. They accept credit and debit cards.
Furniture is decent, but good luck getting repairs done under warranty if necessary. I bought 3 pieces of furniture, and all 3 need repairs. Have been going back and forth with them for over 3 months about it. Every time I call, I am on hold for more than an hour for them to tell me they closed the case. Then they conveniently cant get ahold of the repair team that came out, so they open a new one and the thing starts all over again. Ridiculous.

They were careful not to damage my staircase and new tile floors. The furniture is Beautiful and the quality very good. They put everything exactly where I wanted it and it fit perfectly. The delivery guys could help avoid returns and repair requests if theyd just slow down and be more careful. They were very nice and courteous but the first dresser had to be returned because it looked like it had been dropped on end, and second bedroom set has handprint stains on fabric headboard plus a small chip in dresser. I also had to repaint my wall corners after they left. The co. is sending someone to clean the stains and touch up the minor chip, so Im happy, as the delivery guy promised.

We started out in September looking for a new bed and couch. Edwin Martinez was absolutely amazing. He hung right with us getting the best deals we could and worked with us to find the right couch and bed. Everything was delivered and it actually came early. As time passed, we did have a change and wanted to exchange the bed since it wasnt to our liking. It was us...not the bed. Luckily Ed had suggested we do the extra security when we bought it for 129.00 and we can swap if we did not like it. Well we came back this past weekend and we were able to swap the bed and have a credit to spend since the new bed was less than what we paid. He again took the time to peruse the store looking for what we may want. We walked away with a new coffee table and end tables. Everything was smooth and he contacted me the very next morning to make sure all was said and done and wanted to make sure we got our new furniture on time. Ed was amazing and Ashley/City Furniture has quality furniture. We are very please and if you go in ask for Edwin Martinez....:))
I recently purchased a patio and a patio dining set from City Furniture. Definitely one of my best home furniture purchases I have made. So, much so that my daughter went back and purchased a bedroom set, which was very fitting to a young professional in her 20s. Edwin Martinez assisted us throughout the entire process which took about 3 different visits. Edwin was extremely familiar and knew all the different manufacturers, which allowed him to provide great feedback. The rep was very patient and authentic who provide space and would engage with us when we would approach him with questions, it was definitely refreshing experience. Edwin even provided guidance/suggestions on decor that would fit nicely with all the furniture we were purchasing. I bought two mattresses from the one in Stuart Florida and they are not how they seem on the floor at all! The last one I purchased it TERRIBLE!!! My body hurts so bad I even bought a topper for an extra $200 from Amazon hoping that would help and it doesn’t my husband and I roll into eachother it’s just really bad and they won’t replace it…would not recommend
Found 60,000 Sq ft beautiful show room with many great selections. Only 4 stars as our salesperson disappeared and another jumped in and helped us, then the other salesperson returned and an issue whose customer we where. We left.
So bought a bedroom set and paid a premium setup and delivery fee. Their system said all item in stock. That was not the case and now have to wait for pieces to be delivered. If you can’t reconcile how many dressers you have don’t be in business. Refused to refund the expedited fee and Melony from customer care was Ill equipped to have an intelligent conversation and more concerned with speaking over us. Do yourself a favor and pay more somewhere else and get the CS that you deserve.

Great experience from start to finish. Our salesperson was friendly and helpful, the delivery guys were careful and courteous. The free shipping was a huge plus, we bought an entire bedroom set and there was not one scratch or nick on it. It arrived in perfect condition. My father&mother-in-law also just purchased a chair from City and it brightens up their whole living room and brings the whole space together. They were also very pleased with their experience and though they had to wait a while for the chair to come back in stock, they said it was worth the wait. Very pleased and happy with the furniture.

Update:Absolutely horrible! I ordered in store with Brian G. I noticed that after a week my card still had not been charged. I checked my order status online, turns out that Brian never finalized my order so it was cancelled. Baffles me since I signed every receipt and got an email confirmation. It was not worth driving back to the store for the $50 discount that I was given, so I placed my order again online. (If you want things done right, do it yourself.) Order was delivered a week after what my original order was supposed to be. Upon opening the box, my order was damaged. The box was busted open, revealing damaged wood and a gash. Now I am stuck waiting on customer service to respond to my claim. Who knows how long it will take for a replacement to be delivered, and I don’t exactly have the time to sit around for a full day again, just waiting on a delivery.

The furniture is different than any other store around Stuart, FL. Only complaint is that you make an early payment and you are charged as late unless you make payment automatically through synchrony bank. I was charged late payments on early monthly payments and when I complained I had to speak to someone in India who did not speak English. Then when I paid off the account I tried to buy a table set the sales person said I had no active credit and had to reapply all over again. That made no sense to me so I refused. Now Im receiving emails on an active account with synchrony so which is it I have or dont have an account?
Great sales team with excellent product. I was able to pick the exact delivery date i wanted and all my product came at once. The drivers were extremely professional and courteous. They also made sure i was able to inspect all the furniture before they left!

Ordered a couch over 2 months ago said i would receive in mid oct. now they say maybe the 23rd they just dont know.
We knew we wanted a foam mattress but didnt know which one. Our salesman, Roni Walcott, gave us a tour of all the foam mattresses and recommended the Tempu-pedic Adapt after we tried several others. He patiently stood by to answer our questions but allowed us to try each mattress again (and again) until we made our choice. Then we started on the pillows.....It actually took us even longer to decide on the pillows and again Roni was patient and helpful. We received our mattress today and I am looking forward to sleeping on it tonight.

Visited this usually fantastic furniture store today. Greeted and assisted by Robyn Chambers. I had done my homework on website prior to shopping, so I knew exactly what items I was interested in. Robyn brought me right to the bedroom set I had in mind. She showed me a few more that were not on website.Proceeded to my outdoor furniture choices to view. Robyn brought me to what I had requested to view. She was very professional, never pressured me to purchase more. I bought everything I had wanted. She requested assistance from her manager for a question I had. After speaking with Daniel Cabo, they both confirmed my sale and I was on my way! Another happy customer!! Perhaps the worst customer service i have ever experienced. it was a dark day when i decided to use them in the midst of shopping at several other retailers and happened to select the one who has absolutely no regard for the customer. they lie about returns, they lie about exchanges- i purchased a 2000 dollar mattress. it was delivered and left, and when i realized they sent a queen rather than the king i ordered i immediately called to report the issue. after being sent on the customer service merry-go round with several accidental hang ups i was told sorry- they will not refund and they will not exchange. i should have not accepted the delivery and that was that. speaking with supervisors make it glaringly apparent their disregard for satisfaction, and reading their 1.1 star reviews here make it clear image means nothing. beware of this company. do not give them your money. I spoke Juan the manager and he clearly told me that satisfaction is not the goal- and i will go on the record and let city furniture know this is a pointless position to have if satisfying customers is not important. save Juans salary- send it to the homeless or something.
Like it but they dont have to much in the warehouse so the delivery can take 3 to 6 weeks. Way to much for the prices. beautiful pieces of furniture. I didnt buy anything due to the long wait for the delivery. If you dont mind the wait it have a lot to pick from. Stay safe during this time.
We were looking for a specific type of chair and stopped at City Furniture. Kai Lucas approached us and asked if he could help. We explained what we wanted. He understood what we were talking about and showed us a sizable selection. We tried all of them and selected two of what we felt were the most comfortable. Kai offered a warranty plan, scheduled delivery and closed the transaction. The whole transaction was completed while we were sitting on a couch. Nice. So, that was all good.Then they delivered the chairs. I paid an extra $130 to get them delivered quickly. Otherwise we would have waited 2 weeks. The chairs arrived, the delivery guys left, and the we found one chair was assembled incorrectly and would not recline. I called the truck. They did not answer. Now I have a chair that doesnt work and a technician will not be here for days. INSPECT EVERYTHING THESE GUYS DELIVER.

Editing my comment after FINALLY getting a call back, and getting the required information. Also an update on my delivery. On time and went smoothly. Delivery men were efficient. I was just unhappy with the lack of communication, after my salesperson assured me I would get phone calls confirming delivery date and still not hearing any confirmation from March 23rd until June 4th(delivery the 5th).

He was very detail and provide all the information to make a decision. He completed the transaction and schedule the delivery. I wandered into city furniture with my family & I saw a sofa I liked, Phillip was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable enough to help my family and I & we bought a beautiful sofa. Our visit to the Jensen Beach CITY Furniture was excellent. We prearranged our appointment with Chris Donahue who had spent time with us on a previous stop. We gave Chris a rough idea of what we were looking for in a pair of sofas and he guided us around the displays leading us to the perfect pair. He checked shipping dates and confirmed they met our time frame. I know well be back to CITY and will be happy to dealwith Chris again.
