I work at the Returns desks, I’m still fairly new and learning my way around the specific products we sell and how certain functions work. But overall I have an amazing time helping customers as best I can. I understand that Customer Service can honestly be pretty bad in our department, especially when a lot of us seem to only ever talk or disappear for hours (nothing wrong with talking on principle but it’s a little ridiculous, leaving me and maybe one other person trying to carry the entire weight of our department on our own). And I wish I knew more about the specific products, but there is so much to know that often I struggle, but that doesn’t stop me in actively looking to help people out. Because I genuinely want people to receive assistance. The MOD’s treat us very well, and I’ve had the pleasure to know some of the better associates in the store. So if you’re looking to return an item or looking for someone who will if nothing else help you feel welcome and cared for, come to Returns (Just not on busy days because than we get flippen tired and we want to pass out after awhile lol. But we’ll still try.)
If you enjoy being treated horribly and ignored, come to this home depots lumber department. You can enjoy your entire day asking everyone for help and continue to get ignored and moved aside. I think management has done a great job in letting their employees know customer service doesnt mean squat. Kudos. Amazing. These guys customer service makes Walmart look like premier customer service

Today I went to the Home Depot located at Highway 6 South in Sugar land twice. It is my luck or by chance I was able to see JOVANA at the customer service desk. She is very knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful I cannot put my experience in words. It was hard to find someone to help us and when we found someone they werent sure where the things we needed were at. Then the cashier was not very nice, but when we were leaving another cashier was very nice wishing us a good evening and the person getting the carts outside was also friendly, so it was okay not great.
The store was not what it used to be. No managers or any people knowledgeable to fix automatic cashier by gardening. More than 10 minutes in line. The person training new personnel sent me to the wrong aisle to look for a bulb that was next to her when I asked her for it. No person in the lights department available to ask for information. When finally founded light bulbs they were exaggeratedly over price.
Greatest place get lost on there do many great things here. From a little bolt for your treadmill or stationary bike you will find it here. My second 🏡 for fix it without repairs money. Replaced a series of breakers myself. Did it dude myself. Snake the kitchen drain myselfDude never ever leave home withoutHome Depot in you back Pocket. Lol.

Good home depot ask them what isle something is in a they know exactly the asle. Sometimes I have a hard time finding where in the isle and they will Walk me to the product. I can always find an employee walking around but I usually find them by the key machine helping someone make some keys.
I rented an aerator for a 24-hour period and after a few hours of operation, the drive chain broke. Instead of taking it back, I drove around town until I could find the correct repair items and fixed the machine. By the time I repaired the aerator, I had lost most of my day. I kept the machine for the following day to finish my job. Upon returning the aerator, they charged me for the full day, plus the additional time I had the machine without any consideration for only charging me for the original 24 hours. So I paid to fix their machine that broke down on me. Unreasonable. This is the second time one of their pieces of equipment had a flaw and we had to repair. At least the first time they were reasonable enough to only charge us what we actually used the equipment for.
Great people that work here. Always helpful and trying to be as courteous as possible.
I had the most BEAUTIFUL and Blessed experience with Noemi in plumbing departments who knows her job 100% I met her last week and I came back today because I needed help..She is the BEST..⚘⚘⚘❤❤
This location actually deserves no stars very rude and unprofessional employees. I go in to pick up my online order after receiving confirmation that it is ready for pick up. Zoe in customer service was very rude and didnt show any interest on helping me getting my order. She was more interested in socializing with her co-workers. I asked to speak with a manager whom was nowhere to be found what a shocker another slacker. I was even told by Zoe the incompetent employee to go find the manager myself turned her back on me and completely ignored me. A monkey can probably do a better job then her. Dont apply for a job if your just going to be worthless and lazy.
Worst customer service ever ask free people for help they direct me in the wrong way instead of actually helping me find what I need one person came up to me and actually helped.. every time I will look for somebody to help that was clearly see me and walk the other way
Its a love hate relationship! For the homeowner, they have anything you need. For a contractor, they will keep you out of a bind with last minute tools or supplies. If you are in a hurry or not exactly sure what you need, then we start treading in the hate! When Im not that guy, I love this place.
Well organized and the lady that checked me out had an amazing attitude and smile to match. Picked me up when I was having a bad day. I was amazed at the selection of storage totes for my garage and how many options are available.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICEI went there to buy paint for restroom, showed lady at paint counter the color and asked her for restroom paint, she mixed up and gave me wood paint instead of restroom wall paint.My painter rejected that paint and we had to buy new paint, when i took that paint back to to home depot to return it, they refused to return and said it is their COMPANY POLICY they can not return it even if it is their employee mistake.
Beware of the ARS A/C tune up special! Its a scam!My husband and I were approached by an employee about doing a discounted ARS A/C tune up at the Home Depot on Highway 6 and West Airport while purchasing landscaping equipment. We have lived in our home for 3 years and have never done one, because we have NEVER had any issues, so we decided to do it. Almost as soon as Gary arrived from ARS he started talking about how I needed a new unit even thought weve never had any issues. He said that wed save lots of money on our electric bill and would use the same sized unit we already had, and that hed bring a rep out the next day to give us an estimate. He also ominously told me that there was such a bad freon leak that the A/C would likely stop working after that night. The next day Darren shows up with Gary (later than they said they would) and they spend over 3 hours doing calculations and telling me how our home is set up will cause us to need all this additional services. Darren asked me to turn on the A/C and it turned on fine. They finally quoted me for a $16,000 and a $21,000 job telling me I can choose between the Benz or the Kia. Darren asked me point blank if we need the air to be colder in our home and I said we honestly dont. He replied that hes really trying to get us colder air and kept saying that later wed be calling and thanking himWhen they left, our A/C would not turn on! Its been hours and it still is not working. It is now 85 degrees in our home because they sabotaged our unit to get us to purchase a new one. Beware of this scam.*Update* We had a wonderful HONEST company called AirGirl come out and they told us the truth. Turns out, ARS had SHUT OFF our unit and LIED about the freon leak.

Orderd a bathroom vanity on April 18Was told would be delivered by May 11June 29th i am still waiting on the vanity.Called several times was told it was on back order, they blamed it on outside vendor,I finally got tiered of waiting and called the store was told if they had time they would look into it,Two days on the phone with them, and still no solution, i told them to cancel the order, because I was upset over the poor customer service.They gladly accepted, have been an account holder since 2013 have spent thousands of dollars here, it is a shame as big as a companyYou are.
I come to this location Kingsbridge on Hwy 6 from time to time, but today I called asking for assistance and the lady was nice trying to get me help, but was on hold for a minute because no one would come to assist in the department. So once the lady had gotten help for me, I had this man to ask me how could he help me. Well I asked if they had a certain item, and gave the info. on the item. He told me they don’t have any in their store, so I asked if he could check in his system, to see if the other location down the road would have the item. His response was they probably wouldn’t have it either, and you would probably have to order it online. Well I checked myself to see if they had it, and they happened to have 23 in stock.That’s what you call horrible customer service. Hard to get good customer service these days, but I’m sure folks like that, are the first one in line to get their check.
DIY project- running toilet. Went in with idea to replace flapper. There was good supply of numerous skus. Took a picture of what I was trying to replace and the employee roaming the plumbing area confirmed what I had in my hand would do the job. Got home and realized my picture did not show the whole 1 piece Champion 4 set up so I had the wrong part. My return was easy ( friendly, professional cashier Alicia) and was able to fix my problem with just a flush valve seal. With my new inclusive photo the same person who helped me on first visit, assisted me again.
Very few employees to help locate items. Ones that could be found were not very knowledgeable about the products provided in the store.
God help you if you need customer service. It’s very hit or miss depending on what type of person you get what time of the day you go and how long the line is. Service is not at all that great at this location. The selection is great and I just about anything you need on Officer Commercial was. But I would highly recommend you carefully time when you plan to go because lines can be long and you won’t have much help you need to find something or if you’re unsure about a certain product. Parking lot also feels up fairly quickly and you need to do some walking especially on the weekends. It’s just crazy!#yourTEXASrealtor
Usually has good stock, but dont expect much help. They seem understaffed so you are on your own. The guys who load up your stuff at the dock area are great help.

They dont compare to Lowes when it comes to customer service. I purchased a washer and dryer on a Friday. Scheduled delivery was the following Wednesday. Monday morning I went in and asked to add the haul-away option of my old appliances. They told me I couldnt do that because my stuff was already on the truck and they already pre-planned what would fit. First off all, I highly doubt my appliances were already on the truck more than 48 hours in advance. 2nd, so what if they were - that had nothing to do with haul-away. And I couldnt get them to understand that once they took my new stuff off the truck, there would suddenly be room for my haul-away. I canceled the entire order ... they didnt care at all. And repurchased from Lowes.

I tried to buy a Milwaukee impact and the associate didnt want to help me. He said they probably didnt have any and wouldnt even look, the website shows two.
The Home Depot near Hwy 6 and Bellfort is A1. The staff members are extremely helpful, even going so far as to walk you to the item youre looking for. Checkout was fast and easy. This by far was the best HD Ive visited.

Home Depot: Heres an idea: Have the CEO stand in line trying to checkout...the store had what I needed, but like so many other stores, the self-checkout is a pain. I see customers having problems with it, requiring help from employees, slowing down the whole process for others waiting to checkout. All these stores should ditch the self checkouts, put back regular checkout registers, hire the cashiers back (that they probably laid off) and problems would be reduced, and customers would be happier!
It’s a Home Depot. Some not so good service, some good service. Paint and garden could have more staff. The aisle could be less cluttered.

When I came to Home Depot today on the usual supply run for the weekend DIY projects, I never expected Mosiah. Mosiah has to be the single most helpful Home Depot employee Ive ever met. He helped direct me to the type of plywood I was looking for and helped load it onto my cart. When I changed my mind later on what kind of plywood I wanted, he suggested an alternative that was even better quality AND less expensive. I hope all Home Depot employees aspire to deliver the level of customer service I received today from Mosiah. Thank you very much for making this an extremely enjoyable (and productive) supply run!
Worst Home Depot I’ve ever been to. Apparently the manager didn’t exist at this store when the store associates tried to call him. All I wanted was to buy a door and no one ever came to help in the door department. Some store associates did try to find the manager but I guess we went into hiding during his shift. Very poor service, will not shop at this store again.

They have most items you will find everywhere else. Overall a good store. Sometimes a little short handed as it can take a little while to find help. Most people there are a big help when doing small or large projects.
Im never disappointed with this place. I had to wait for a minute or so after another customer. The Home Depot associate knew as soon as I showed him a broken showerhead, the correct size that I needed, after asking him if they had a replacement showerhead. This was for a custom made shower. Im not a plumber, just a minor do it yourself when needed guy. I like to make sure I have the correct size to avoid problems. They had a nice selection to choose from, I saw the same showerhead, but I chose to upgrade. It was a perfect fit. I really appreciated the store attendant who helped me.

Alright location. Went on a rainy day and felt a little unsafe. Floors are concrete and seemed a bit slippery to me, especially outside in the garden area.
A great selection of home improvement items. However some items are not placed in their proper spaces, and the prices are misleading.

Just sat on the phone for 30 minutes asking about ply wood! One person comes to the phone says she’ll get someone then one person transfer me to the wrong department so he then goes to say i can’t do anything for you sends me back to the same woman and she answers tell me to hold on I wait about five more minutes then the phone hangs up in my face. The service at this location is truly sad! Never will I shop there again! Deserves no stars!
First, I will continue to buy Home Depot products... Ive bought from them for more than 25yrs...but the art of customer service it considered vintage...and no were to be found in this store.On a busy spring-time Saturday this Home Depot appeared to be unorganized and understaffed...The Return-dept backed up out the door, 3 employees gave 3 incorrect directions to the location of Velcro. Untrained?The paint dept located near the front of the store forced customers to block the main aisle while waiting to get paint...frustration visible on each passing customer... no one did anything to help the traffic flow..The ladies selling A/C services knew where the restrooms were located (no RESTROOM signs on the main aisles)... the pictures below explain why there was a line to get into the MENs restroom...

AVOID BUYING POWER TOOLS HERE. It should not take 40mins for the cashiers to find someone to unlock the tool cage.
So far I have no complaints. Waited for a paint color I liked for about a week that way its more affordable but thats something I had to gamble and wait till someone mixed that color for it to put on clearance. Super happy
Well i called one person they say they would get someone no one came, then I got someone else she said she would get a guy then no one came. I finally just got a guy who went over there and in like 2 minutes gave me the chain I needed.
There was a problem with the curbside pickup. For some reason the website notified me that the order was ready but when i went to pick it up it wasnt ready at all.

Horrible service at every department for customers asking questions to associates. Customers are treated very badly and insulted in different ways. Very few good Associates and Most of them are Unfriendly associates.

Well, I have nothing against the young employees at the home depot, but after found out that they get trained for only one day only . Now I understand the root of the problem, it use to be 5 days training for the store rules, practices, and procedures and after that you have a trainer in the store that you followed all day long.Beside that some of the old employees where trade persons on diferente especial jobs.THD have to do something to fix this problems and training these new employees to their best in each departments .I hope they will see this comment.Thank you.
