I purchased and item that under the description said color ¨black¨. I received the item and its pure faded grey. Right after I received the order I called the store to notify that I am going to return the item. Two weeks have passed since they received the item and have not received and refund. I called to first be hanged up on then called again to be told to wait to receive a call to see what can be done. 30 minutes passed I returned the call and they said they cannot give me the item because its not in stock. What is the world I was waiting to get a refund not the item back. Then she said cannot issue a refund because it has to be returned within 15 days now its 14 days. Than she said the return policy is all over the website I just checked their website its not all over the website is super small and it has the - return policy is within 7 days. That just confirms their entire communication-description is false . It’s seem to me they have false information. The whole shopping experience was great. The staff was super helpful and helped me find the correct size of clothes. I’ll be going back for more as I love the quality of clothes and the value for money. Everyone on eid asked me where I got the dress from. I highly recommend Strings and Thread.

I used to enjoy coming to this shop especially because of the owner but today I had such a bad experience. The lady at the counter was not only unfriendly but totally unprofessional and she behaved such that she would rather look at her phone than help us. Not going back again.

Good customer service and handled refund/exchange well.

I have ordered numerous times from this place. So far I am only happy with two of their suits. The sizing is inconsistent. A large is not a large.One of the suits I bought was over a 100$ and it arrived with peeled pearls on the suit pants.I wish they would respond to customer quieries. Just opening a store doesn’t make a business you have to have good customer service.

Horrible customer service. I placed my order on June 20th and as of July 12th, still have not received an item I ordered for Eid. I called three times and was told someone would call me back and sure enough, no one called me with any updates. The lady that answered today told me I was arguing when I was just asking a question. This is the first and last time I will order from them. False advertising on their website that they deliver in 3-5 days. Terrible service.

I never leave reviews but am beyond frustrated! I wish I can give this company zero stars!! The company is run by two workers who lack basic communication skills or memory power to remember to follow up with customers after they promise they would. I placed order with them back in March for Eid and the sizes were off so I paid extra to have it shipped back for smaller size. They told me they would ship out the smaller size as soon as they received my return. Tracking showed that they received my return weeks ago but they never send out the new items and I called them EVERY SINGLE DAY for 2 weeks. They kept saying they will contact me in 5 mins with more info on my items and never did. I’m a busy medical student so this was a big waste of my time. Now it’s 2 days before eid, and still do not have items to give to my family nor do they have back up outfits since I told them I would be gifting them their outfits. Thanks string n thread for RUINING MY EID. Never recommending this company to anyone.UPDATE: changed my review to 3 stars bc they overnighted my package to arrive before Eid which was very nice but still wasted a lot of my time

Literally the most amazing store ever. They not only have the best selection but also they alter whatever needs to be fixed. There reward system is excellent because you can save big bucks. Definitely recommend 100%

Beware! If you get the correct order, it’s good. But if there is anything wrong with the dress, you will have to pay the return shipping even if it’s their mistake.Sent me wrong dress and made me pay the return shipping to get a refund.Also terrible customer service! They do not reply to emails.

So I guess im just a little confused. I dont understand why they sell Khaadi, Sapphire, Agha Noor, Maria B- names like those at their store for TRIPLE the price when all of these designers have working websites with free shipping to the USA anyways....The clothes are a bit outdated as well. The owner is nice and I would love to support the business, but why are the clothes from 1994

Walked in just to see what they had and Tahira helped us out. She went above and beyond to make out shopping experience great! She offered to watch my 14 month old son who didnt want to sit still so I could browse their inventory and then took the time and effort to measure the outfits for my mother-in-law. Definitely recommend this place, whether you need something fancy for a wedding or something simple to just wear at home, they have it all.

Customer service is excellent. The fact that they can alter outfits to fit better is a great selling point. They have a nice variety of brands for evening wear and casual wear. I could actually find my size in small. I would highly recommend it.

Horrible place. Bought a new “designer” dress. Fell apart after 1 wash. Never even get to wear it once! Tried to return it and they said all sales final!!
