Shipleys has decent donuts, usually consistent. When the owners are on site, its a wonderful experience. They are always very nice with a smile on their face. But when the owners arent there, the employees can be short and not helpful. Today I went to get my young children special donuts. I asked for pink donuts for my girls. I told the lady at the drive thru window, these are not pink and she basically treated me as OH WELL and wouldnt help or offer any substitutes. Very upsetting for my daughters that were excited for the special trip. I have been supporting their business for years, but will now try out other donut shops.

Great service and love the donut holes! Coffee is always hot! Get in early if you want your favorite kolache as they sometimes run out, but they are absolutely worth a stop.

The recipe on these donuts are pretty dam good, I just stick to the basics as it delivers.

Not a fan of this location, had it happen multiple time where I ask if the donuts are hot, otherwise would prefer not to buy. Everytime they say yes, and when I get them they are cold. Shipley Donuts served hot are by far the best.

The staff is amazing! I guess they don’t take rewards at this location, but the manager and his staff were understanding and still gave me the half dozen donuts reward. Highly recommend this location, great people! Will be back!

I feel like this place can be hit-or-miss for service and products based on other reviews. Luckily I had two good experiences.My first visit...I actually came for the chocolate filled donuts. Unfortunately since we did come later in the day, they didnt have much selection left. I was pretty disappointed. The lady behind the counter kinda felt bad and told me to try the chocolate filled chocolate donut and gave me a sample, said to come back if I liked it. Unfortunately, I didnt.Nonetheless, I came back a couple days later. I believe the owner was behind the counter this time. And they had plenty of chocolate filled Donuts...well 4 of them, and I bought them all, as well as 8 others! I was going to order a coffee... But I wasnt sure if it was fresh and decided to just get coffee at home. However the older gentleman went ahead and poured a cup and didnt charge me.The customer service was quite exceptional compared to my experience at other locations.

We love coming to this location and will drive out of our way just to visit here. However, the last couple of times the glazed donuts were very cold. I will say the service at this location is excellent.

Sadly this place is starting to go downhill. Donuts look terrible, selection is dropping, and my daughter was thrilled with her sprinkle donut crammed in the bag when I got home with it. Even the kolache bread tasted stale?

The donuts and kolaches are great. The staff and their customer service is great too. I would say to remove the women glasses from the window, because shes given me the wrong price if items 3 different times now. Other than that, they were very generous and wanted to make it up. Like I said, great customer service.

I placed very large order on the very short notice. The place was fantastic to work with. They took care of me extremely fast and were very pleasant to work with! I bought these kalaches and donuts as a gift and they were a hit! Everyone loved them! Thank you!!!

For me Shipley Do-Nuts are simply THE BEST! There is nothing better than a hot fresh glazed donut from Shipleys....except for two....;) This particular Shipleys not only sells the freshest hottest donuts around the level of customer service they provide is unparalleled and extremely rare these days. If you are looking for hot glazed donut goodness then this is THE place and more than worth the trip!

The window people barely spoke English, and the donuts were cold and reheated.

Kolaches are fantastic but once again the plain glazed were cold. Next time I will bring my temperature monitor to check before I take them. I was told they were hot when I asked but I guess I should have said I need them ...¿caliente?!

Love the sausage-cheese-jalapeno kolaches. Yes, I know they arent officially kolaches, but that is what Shipley calls them. The glazed donuts are great too.

The donuts are sooooo gooooood. We love that theres so many different colors of the donuts with sprinkles. Theyre so pretty and fun. Clean bathroom. Owners are super sweet. Well have to visit more often. Thank you!

Ive been to this place several times with no complains. However, I was totally disappointed today when I did a drive through the first time after the pandemic started. I was astonished when I saw the employee whos handling food was not even wearing a mask. I did not reject the donuts, but decided to throw away the whole box after I got home. Maybe I am a little too cautious, but better safe than sorry.

I am well aware that Shipleys is a no brainer when it comes to the pioneers of the ooooey goooey warm donuts and hearty buttery kolaches but not all of its locations are quite as pleasant as this one. The owner and his wife are always smiling and always kind to me and my family including all of their repeat customers. Just that tiny bit of courtesy and southern comfort makes them stand out. Sweet crew, sweet donuts.....sweet results every time. Thanks yall!!

The service at the window was great. Kolaches are fresh and so are the donuts.

Several of the employees were very nice and friendly. However, the woman getting my donuts needs additional coaching or supervision.Three of my dozen donuts were supposed to be powdered sugar. Not sure what she put in the box. It looks like it might be cinnamon sugar? - so I had to toss the box because of allergies to it. $8 easy come, easy go.I guess I should have made sure before I left.Or I may just go to the Shipley’s on 6, where I don’t have to check my order - and it allows me to multitask or socialize with other customers and know my order is correct.I mean, I don’t watch my coffee being made at Starbucks, but it’s always right.Two stars because I did feel like a valued customer. Until I opened the box.

Very fresh donuts. I pick up a dozen assorted on my way to work many times. The staff love them and so do I. The staff are super friendly and I love coming here. My favorite breakfast place in Sugar Land.

Not sure when this place got this bad, had stopped many times before and was great. Now you are supposed to be in the business of selling donuts, so why at 9 in the morning on Sunday do you not have donuts? They had no chocolate iced, no chocolate filled, no chocolate sprinkles, very few of anything else filled....so how do you call yourself a Shipleys Donuts, with nothing but plain glazed and a couple other choices on the rack? Never will stop again!

Donuts and kolache were fresh and warm. Probably because it was still early. I purchased the original glazed donut. It was heavenly because it was fresh. I also tried the brisket kolache. It was very good. Meat was tender and flavorful. Staff was kind and greeted me. I always look for that. Id come back here as long as the donuts are fresh .I almost forgot about the cream filled donut. Wow! So satisfying when fresh !

I never leave bad reviews. The employees are nice but oh my God I am sick of them giving me the wrong thing. 90% of the time I order a kolache they give me the wrong one, and twice they have given me old donut holes and one was filled with watery icing. They could at least check what theyre giving out. Im really peeved and sad.

I ordered a dozen plain glazed. These were not Shipley donuts. They looked and tasted like grocery store donuts. They came in a flat box. Something fishy going on at this Shipleys.
