This is the most incompetent joint I have ever come across. I am on my wifes insurance and at the time of checking in I gave my drivers license. They put in all that information in their computer. I also advised them to update my address in the system, to what my drivers license says (if they wanted my wifes driver license to to that, she was right there with me). After the eye exam, they gave me the prescription, and I took it, assuming they did everything right. But no, I later realized that they gave the prescription in my wifes name, including her date of birth. Even the address that I assumed they updated, was the old one.MOST INCOMPETENT LOT. I WOULD ADVICE PEOPLE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

You get a bad feeling when you walk into the store. The air in the store is thick with strife. Negative energy. I pray for the ladies (two ladies in particular) who work here because you know theyre unhappy. You hear it in their tone and how they interact with customers. Not friendly. Dont go here until the ladies who work in the front of the store seek therapy or have a come-to-Jesus moment. There is no way the recent 5 star reviews are from actual customers. Whoever has sense that works there needs to burn a THICK bundle of sage and do a group prayer in that store.

Ana was extremely helpful and patient. She explain to me everything I need to know! The doctors are amazing.

With each bad review there are 3 or more five star reviews. Anyone else notice a pattern? Dont visit the store until there is positive change with how disgruntled employees communicate with potential customers. I have worked in customer service and understand how tough it can be but it helps to at least remain professional when interacting with customers and not act angry they walked in. I hope the manager takes note instead of creating fake reviews. Just my two cents. BTW no one is ever that excited to write a positive review about an eyeglass store. More people would visit your store if some changes were made. Fake Google reviews will not help you.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Dr. Nguyen was “mansplaining” to us the entire time. My mother is hard of hearing, and he kept interrupting her and speaking over her. He was very, very disrespectful. I addressed him about this and he made it seem like he was trying to help us; and claimed our previous eye doctors did not give us enough info. We were given trial contact lenses and when we got home we noticed they expired in 2018. NEVER. AGAIN.

I found out that my husband havent had an exam for over 15 years!!! I had never seen him in glasses, just contact lenses. I never knew why he never bothered with the glasses and I never asked.One day, hubby whips out these thick bottle cap glasses and I asked who it belonged to - giggling and not knowing it was his because it was very historic-looking. He said those were his, hence why he never wanted to wear glasses (hes had it since a kid). I told him, well... they have special lenses you can get now and Im sure they wont be as thick. You really need to get your eyes checked. He was hesitant but decided to give it some looking into. It didnt bother me, but he was a bit insecure.I was referred to Pearle Vision and discussed with Saboeun our concerns. She suggested an exam with the doc and we found out he REALLY needed to start wearing glasses and giving his eyes a break from contacts!!! His vision was actually worse than the contacts power he was currently wearing.Anyway, we were able to get him a new prescription for contacts and he even got glasses ordered that hes not ashamed to wear. We are happy with the superior customer service that was provided and loved how the staff took their time to listen to his concerns and exceeded our expectations.

Horrible experience my wife had..... buyer BEWARE 😡😡😡😡. Today is 2/25 and still no glasses going on 2 months and $525 out of pocket. Today is 2/26 and they want me to see another eye doctor that makes 3 examinations. This store is a franchise not corparatly owned. So if I want a full refund they have to call the owner. Mind you they said a 30% restocking fee. 30% of 131 is not $38 owed back to me which my wife got back. Crooks 💯😡🤬🤦‍♂️😫 2/26 went back today talk about the 3rd time rush through the eye exam and didnt even want to hear what I had to say so rude.

I went to this location today to get a pair of glasses. The lady that was there was really unhelpful and rude. Me and my wife walked in and were not even greeted. She rudely asked us What do you want? so we told her that we were there to get a pair of glasses. She then proceeded to say that we can go ahead and look and if we needed help she will come. She then proceeded to go to her desk, and never once got up to help us at all. So we left. We understand that during Covid that we should be socially distanced for both of our safety, but this is a little too much. At least try and help us. Dont just sit on your computer. Never coming back here.

The assistants were AMAZING, I loved their care! Very good customer service. Dr.Nguyen, on the other hand, dude needs to learn some manners. He did his job, but still, learn how to talk to people. Im not complaining, just an observation and my opinion. Again, the assistants were AMAZING and I wont judge the whole establishment off of one person but I do not see an appointment with Dr. Nguyen in the future.

I showed up a bit early for my appointment without any intention of purchasing my eyewear today. However, once I began looking, I was reminded of just how much my Mom and Brother-in-law loved their silhouette Eyewear.Once I figured out how much everything would be after my insurance factored in, I of course made the purchase. I cant wait to get my Eyewear in!I also loved Dr. Chad (?) as she was knowledgeable and explained everything regarding my prescription and how my eyes had changed over the past 5 years. Needless to say I will end up going back over the years because of the service I receive everything I go. Keep up the great work ladies!

The eye doctor was great. Very detailed and took time working out what would work for me. But the staff was very rude and acted like I was bothering them by being there. Customer service is not a part of what they do. Sad that they are what you see first which makes you feel negative before you see a great doctor.

I walked in and was instantly greeted! My wait for the doctor was brief (>5 minutes ). The doctor was friendly and very informative. She took her time and explained to me all that she was doing and why. After the exam, she walked me to the waiting room and Thanked me for my time. That was unnecessary, but very much appreciated. The assistant who helped me pick out my contacts/glasses was amazing also! I told her I want honesty and nothing less and she did not hold back on opinions and suggestions. I appreciated that very much. Once my selection was finalized, she went and did all the math and helped me find the best deal even though it wasnt through them! I cant thank both these ladies enough today! This was literally the best experience I have had there. I will definitely be back for next years exam!

Will never step foot in this business again. Purchased glasses from here and there was a manufacturer’s defect. They fixed one of the lenses. The other had a scratch on it and I paid to repair it. Received it back but noticed later it did not have the same tint as the other. They didn’t replace it with what I originally had on it. I called and they said that because it was passed the 30 days, I would have to pay to have it fixed, AGAIN! As a customer who knows absolutely nothing about glasses, why would I have to double check their work and pay for a mistake they made? If I could only return these glasses, I would. Customer service is extremely poor. I also give negative stars if this would let me. Don’t bother wasting your time and money in this business.

Exceptional customer service!After dealing with blurry vision for over 10 years, I finally took the step to get it taken care of. I was incredibly hesitant as Ive had bad experiences previously, but I am so glad I made the drive to this location!The location is nestled in a shopping plaza close to Whole Foods, and although the parking lot is shared, it wasnt an issue.I was immediately assisted by Sabouen - and I absolutely love her! She took care of me as soon as I walked in, and was so kind, friendly and very professional.Sabouen, along with the other workers, all had face masks on correctly - and they followed protocol in regards to having frames disinfected after being touched. This was a big plus for me!I was seen by Dr. Jimmy Nguyen - he was very respectful and soft spoken. During our examination, he addressed any questions I had, and displayed such polite demeanor.Once it was time for me to choose my frames, I struggled with choosing what looked good on me. Sabouen stepped in and provided me a couple of frames the she felt would compliment my face the best - and I am so glad I trusted her judgment! With her assistance, I was able to immediately make a selection - and she really does know whats best! I really appreciated the extra step Sabouen took to help me!Overall, my experience here was amazing - facility was clean, wait time was very minimal, and COVID precautions were followed!Dr. Nguyen and Sabouen made the overall appointment so much better, and I will definitely be coming back for future visits!

Horrible experience. On 12.26 i brought my mother in for a new perscription/glasses. After the first distance/chart and pressure test completed, we were was asked to wait again in the seating area. My mother has partial paralysis and had complained about a film over her right eye to the lady administering the test. After another 10 minutes of waiting the lady that gave initial testing informed us we would need to see an ophthalmologist and that the doctor did not feel comfortable enough to perscribe her glasses. This Dr. didnt talk to us at all, only heard my mothers complaint and decided it wasnt worth his time. Even though every year this happens due to an allergy issue that was diagnosed last yr around the same time. No one bothered to ask any additional questions or care enough to inquire further. Im annoyed at this because it takes a lot for me to get my mom in for this kind of thing between work and a hectic life schedule, but i understood. Then the nurse/tehc gave me what she explained to be a list of ophthalmologist in the area, I called the sugarland location this morning and the list she provided me with, are pharmacies.

Eye exam was quick and on point.Clean environment, awesome staff, got exactly what I was looking for.

Disclaimer: I have been going to this Pearle Vision for a few years, but never wrote a review, until now. Thanks to the $25 off my order, here is your review. [insert sarcastic smiley face]I did a recon into the store a few days prior to see what a replacement frame would cost for my glasses and was helped out by Laura. She was very helpful and informed me they would have to order new frames. I didn’t order them at that time, but decided to go price compare other stores. Of course, I didn’t find a store that stayed within my budget and with the frames, that I liked. Yeah, big waste of time!Fast forward a couple of days later, I returned to Pearle Vision. Upon my arrival, I was greeted with a warm smile and hello from both Laura and Iris. Although Laura didn’t assist me completely this time, she did assist Iris with my issue.Now I have to say, I only came into the store wanting replacement frames, but Iris decided to put voodoo magic on me using her arithmetical method of pluses and minus to come up with an incredible price for not only the frames, but new replacement lenses.Although, I did pay a little more than I was expecting (added lens), I managed to save over $100 off everything.Between the two (Laura and Iris), I received excellent customer service, a warm smile and laughter and would recommend this Pearle Vision to anyone needed their services.

Dr. discussed thoroughly the transition my eyes have gone through and what can be expected to happen if my issue doesnt change. He communicated in an easy manner to understand what type of lenses are best for me and how to better help myself to help my eyes.

Go else where. Quality of product is terrible along with terrible customer service. With in a year the antiglare starting coming off. The Filipino girl pretty much said it was my fault. Offered me no solution.

If I could rate the doctors separate I would. I love the doctor who assists me every year with my frames. But every year always seems like a new help with very rude customer service. Today I went to pick up my specs she had given me a used eye glass case when I asked for another she had an attitude and started to no longer assist me. It’s the short young man stud ordeal whatever it’s pronouns are. I spent $500+ plus on frames and don’t deserve the treatment you displayed today.

The only reason why I did business with them is I had a groupon. This was 2 yrs ago so I gave them a call sep 25 2020 asking for the cost of a new eye exam and what a ballpark cost would be for putting the lenses in some frames. She lazily dismissed any questions I had on price and wouldnt give me a price range (how difficult can that be?) on standard lenses (without any coating) my question is if yall did my previous eye exam all they had to do was look up my information. The manager didnt handle it well either. Very lazy and dont care to provide quality service. Which should be expected. Especially since I did business with them and, before I called them today, I talked to other optometrist businesses and they were really HELPFUL PEOPLE. You lost my business, period. They dont care though haha

Very, very Poor & Distasteful customer service!!!!!!!!! I’ve been coming to this location for a couple of years and the quality of customer service has steadily decreased!. The optometrist is nice and quite good BUT the receptionist and assistants here, are unpleasant. I called to request eye care assistance and the receptionist who answered was very curt, refused to assist me with my eye care needs and treated me very poorly. This... was the final straw for me!!After years of being a loyal customer here, I am so disappointed by how I was just treated and I will no longer be coming here for eye care services.If you want quality eye care and good customer service, the Sugar Land Pearle Vision is NOT the place to go to. Not anymore!

Great place to come get your eye exam. Doctors are awesome and answered my questions thoroughly. one of the ladies named iris was helpful and helped me choose some glasses that fit my every day style. manager is awesome and workers are very professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Horrible experience! Pearle DOES NOT respect customers’ time at all! I arrived to Pearle 10 minutes before my 9:30am appointment and waited 40 minutes in the waiting room until I finally asked the front desk how much longer is the wait time. I thought I was waiting longer because I’m a new patient. To my astonishment, Pearle said that there are still four more patients in front of me. They finally told me that it would probably be around another 30 minutes until I would be seen!!! I asked them what is the point of having a 9:30am appointment if I won’t be seen until 10:30. They had a hard time responding and said it’s a busy weekend. I left and had them cancel my appointment so they don’t waste any more of my time! They didn’t even apologize! Don’t come here unless you have all day to kill.

Worst experience ever. Advised staff that my job kept me away most of the time so I wanted to expedite pickup/shipping. Paid $25 to have glasses and contacts sent overnight mail. Was advised that I would be called once items arrived. I was never called, so I called them 9 days after my initial visit and was told they arrived and was shipped out ground and I would receive them in one week. So I paid $25 for expedited service to receive them in a week??? I could have use the postal service for $8. So annoyed!!!
