Desi Brothers review: be careful lots of expired items still on shelves, see picturesVipuls Kitchen review: DO NOT GET THE PAV BHAJI. We got it on a Saturday and had it for dinner and I had terrible stomach cramps and food poisoning a few hours later. Seems to me the pav bhaji was left out for too long at the restaurant and spoiled since we ate it right when we brought it home. Be careful what you get here.

Good selection of fresh Indian grocery at very reasonable prices!! The restaurant inside is great as well!! Highly recommended considering wide verity of Indian grocery items!!

Food was okay. Priced reasonably. Store was cheap with fresh produce.

Probably the store with largest selection of all things Indian. Also, the layout is pretty good. The store is clean and the employees are helpful. My only gripe is that the items are not labelled properly and we had to keep asking the employees. Otherwise, its a must visit if you like Indian groceries, ready to eat meals or anything Indian in general.

I had been looking for two items in all the Indian stores but only managed to get it from here. Great variety.

This is my 2nd visit to the store. Both times I didnt visited for sale items. I just went there for my normal indian items. But this time when I went i bought stuff and I saw some deal there. Buy for $50 and you will get some deep dal pack. And when I billed all items my total went above $50. So I asked the cashier is there any deal going on like if you buy above $50. Then you will get something.. but she said directly no on my face.. like deal thi per ab khatm ho gayi.. but you can see this flyer clearly the dates.. its not about the money or free thing.. its about you guys are lying to customers.. and thats not accepted.. This was my last visit to this store.

Really good store with lots of space and that is the best part during COVID period. I still love Vishala store but the main problem is space in that store. We can barely walk in any isle because of very less space.Most of the time they have good sale but other stuff is little more expensive but I am ready to pay extra because of variety of selection.Vipuls kitchen in the store is plus point but food from Vipuls is ok, not the great.

Watch out for expired foods! The only item I buy there is dates. They have fresh premium Medjool dates at a good price.

Clean, specious and reasonable.Subscription to their WhatsApp group helps in getting the best deals.Vipul’s kitchen is good. If they drop the Punjabi dishes and concentrate on Gujarati and Marathi dishes.... no one would ignore them!

Beware if you are shopping at this store. They conveniently sell item past due the expiry.I recently bought atta ladoos from them which threw me off as soon as i took the bite. I checked the expiry date on the pack and it was 2/21!I went to the store and the asked a lady in billing why was it on shelf despite being expired, she did not even care to respond to me and simple returned the amount back to my card.This is worst experience I have ever had with Indian grocers! I do not recommend them.

Great little gem of Sugar Land. Produce section is huge and fresh. Very competitive prices in Indian groceries. They have also added a small restaurant within the store. They have a sweets, snacks, and ice cream section. The samosas are from Keemat Grocers right done the road. The prices are competitive!

I went here to see if they had fresh meat and they didnt but I still found lots of good stuff, the instant tea I got is really good and i will be buying my rice here from now on. I will be back!

I have been going to this store since its open.i never noticed bill till today with a trust that rates will be same as displayed. Today I have noticed rates on display and the billing rates are different. On 40lb rice bag, display rate is 44.00 but charged me $50. Same thing happened with other product as well.I will not visit this store anymore...

It is really awesome store in sugarland, clean and very organized. It is one stop shop you can find everything here. Helpful staff owner is always there to help you. I bought Desi brothers products like spices and dal they are really good. I highly recommend them.

One of the best Indian stores in Sugar Land.... great variety... excellent service... the owners personally helped us a lot with diabetic food suggestions/choices as well... very clean store and above all GREAT KITCHEN with mouth watering food... and that too very acceptable prices... thali is only $4.99 - and very tasty too ...I have not seen or tasted food this good... I am told they have their own family and trained staff doing the cooking - Keep it up Kaushal & Priyanka

It was my first visit to the store. Its another of growing number of Desi chains around Houston. Best produce section Ive seen locally. Different brands of products than other stores. Ill visit again.

Brand new Indian grocery store opened on 15th August. Has very good selection of Indian grocery, vegetables, snacks and food. Has in store kitchen with variety of Indian food. Very reasonable prices. I would agree with pricing issue. Luckily we caught it before we left the parking lot and management corrected the issue. I think they were not prepared with opening rush.

This place looks great! Just opened recently! Im looking forward to shopping here much more! It used to be the dollar store location before.

Very poor quality and very salty food in Vipuls kitchen inside Desi Brothers. Also, the person at the counter of Vibuls kitchen is unfriendly. I will never recommend to anyone.

Expired and moldy items .

Went on the day before Thanksgiving to purchase snoobles (Pine Nuts) for Hashwa, and theybwere very helpful in showing me where to find them.

They had a grand opening sales but they had their own brand products and quality is poor I won’t even give them a start they don’t deserve it poor service. Employees don’t even know we’re the products are on shelves thanks Can’t help it

Store is pretty big, well laid out. Obviously grand opening and promotions will attract more than usual people. Being new store mistakes are bound to happen. We were charged correctly, and they had all products what we needed.

Pretty big Indian grocery store, All brands in the store are good in quality. Staff is also very helpful, One of the most important thing is the sale, there is a massive discount in the sale.

Please remember to check your receipts they over charge on multiple items their vegetable quality is very bad. I don’t buy any nirav dals because they quay is not good as other that’s why it’s very cheap. Please check your receipts thanks

Huge Indian store with great collection of Indian spices and food . I would recommend to keep a budget in mind and shop as there is lot of options available which you make you buy more :).They should start one more franchise in Katy..
