I have been going to this location for about 12 years now and have never really had any complaints. It has always been easy for me to find parking, and the parking spaces are quite roomy. Inside the store, everything is clean, well-organized, and the checkout lines always move quickly.I visited the store today, and their floral section was looking beautiful! Also, a nice associate was very helpful when I needed assistance while in the self-checkout. I have also gotten may Kroger brand products in the past and have been very pleased. In addition, the bakery has a great selection of cakes. For my friends birthday, I recently purchased a variety cake that was split up into four sections- carrot, caramel, chocolate, and red velvet. It was very tasty! I also have gotten a small Smores cake that was also delicious!Check out this location if you havent already!
Online pickup. Elizabeth is always nice.
Its hard to see the building because of the trees! Anyways I was so pleased with my kroger today. I accidentally left some tide pods and febreze. Three fays later with no receipt, Elliott the manager tonight remembered me@ i was able to get my things without a hassle. It was wonderful after a long day at work. Thank you Elliott your always wonderful!
I really wanted to like this Kroger due to the proximity to my house. However, the rudeness of employees at this location was insane — whatever stick is in their butts needs to be examined. Truly, the only employee who was nice was the self check out supervisor, even the cart organizer had an attitude. I will continue to go out of my way to H‑E‑B instead of coming here or any Kroger location. Should you want rude employees, feel uncomfortable while shopping and have slim pickings on availability, this may be your store.
Well stocked, perfect neighborhood grocery store. Parking is a bit of a maze, but overall, I love having it so close.
I shop here often. Mostly in the produce section. I would never shop in the meat section ever again, Ground beef is spoiled 2-3 times that I bought. This is never the case from H‑E‑B or Costco.
Love this store! So clean and the employees are always friendly. The bakery department was very sweet and quick to help decorate a birthday cake for my son!
This store will not let use your own shopping bags, so-far for being environmentally responsible. Will not shop at Kroger again.
There was a gentleman named Matt working the self checkout who was one of the friendliest people I have ever encountered. I couldn’t find the honey and he walked me over to where it was located. I will definitely be back if Matt is an example of the customer service this store has to offer. Thank you Matt!
It’s convenient, because I live half a mile away, and that’s about it for me. It’s a small Kroger, not like the one in Riverstone, and therefore the pickings are slim. I like having a large selection and a wide variety, and this Kroger feels more like a CVS than a grocery store. And for people that say it’s “clean inside”, yikes! I would never eat in your kitchen. I go out of my way to drive to HEB and the other Kroger stores, and you should too.
Ive visited this location 3 times . The first time I visited the store I headed to the deli department for a hot meal. To my surprise I didnt know krogers sold FRESH FRIED CHICKEN, POTATOES AND MAC N CHEESE, AS SIDES. I spoke with the associate Mrs. Camille Johnson. She was very nice, sociable and very informative! I ended up ordering a 2 piece (Chiplole) chicken plate lunch with 2 sides . She was the cook of the day, the presentation and quality of the food was superior. She placed coverings over the food which kept the food hot and fresh. I appreciate her and associates like her. This is why I choose to return and drive 45mins to this particular location. However, the others 2 times Ive returned to this location i did not get the same treatment/ service. Some of the employees and manager were rude and non- sociable. They clearly performed as if they didnt care to be at work .The presentation of the food was horrible and out dated with no coverings. From now on, I will only return to this store / deli department when Mrs. Camille is there/ the cook of the day. She definitely understands customer service and quality. She is the epitome of a great worker who enjoys supporting her companys mission statement. Thank you Mrs. Camille for all you do . I hope this review bring awareness to a great worker because its too often good workers get overshadowed .
Great inventory. Good produce. Offers paper bags. Best fried 🍗🐔
The people at the front are always nice and willing t help. Get store layout and nicely clean. The bakery is great at birthday cakes (maybe just a bit too much icing). Always go here to shop for groceries
Today Wednesday 1/20/2021 at 10am I experienced a level of service unmatched in all the time Ive been shopping here. The cashier heard the register beeping for assistance turned around and saw me waiting then turned back around and continued her conversation that had nothing to do with work. I waited another 30 seconds then said hello and waved my hand to get her attention she turned around and told ME a paying customer that has alreadybeen waiting for to Hold On. Then she turned around and finished her conversation that again had nothing to do with work because I heard her and the guy talking. This was a lack of professionalism at its finest. Im very disappointed with my experience today. 👎
Better place to shop for groceries now that its not so busy. Only downside is that there are usually only two checkout registers/lines staffed. The self-check stations are usually backed up as a result, so we try to go when its not so, so very busy. But they usually have enough staff monitoring the self-check stations to open two more lines, so go figure. Nothing in the store itself has changed, just not as crowded.
Avoid the bulk food, mine was infested with moths. The worst part is that when I spoke to a manager about making sure the contaminated food would get removed, the associate who did my return had to dig the bag out of the trash to get the product code. That means they had NO INTENTION of removing bug infested food from the shelf.
Its good as a grocery but managed terribly. The employees rarely do the shopping cart collections and all of the businesses around the kroger end up inaccessible due to carts blocking entrances. Ive talked to them about putting up signage or something asking their customers not to park in front of the other stores but they absolutely do not care. It will eventually be taken to the landlords. Good prices, terrible store.
Really irritating that the signs on their doors say theyre open 6:00 a.m. to midnight daily, when you call their phone number the automated system says theyre open 6:00 a.m. until midnight, Google says theyre open 6:00 a.m. till midnight, yet if youre in the store at 11:00 p.m. thinking you have another hour to shop, youll be in for a rude awakening when they kick you out because they close at 11:00 p.m. of course they use covid as the excuse for not updating their hours, but its hard to imagine these things taking more than 8 minutes to update, much less 8 months! It blows my mind that they find this sort of information unimportant enough to update.
I love this place, truly awesome selections. There are lots of varieties to choose from. The cashiers are very fast!
Curbside Service was abominable. Wish they would alert me that essential items were not available. I waited a week for my things. About an hour before I am scheduled to pick up, they send me a text that some items were substituted.. but it was too late to change my order. When I got there, I had to repeat my name several times. My name is MARIA, not that difficult. The key items, chicken, were not substituted. They were out. The people at curbside were not wearing gloves nor masks and were walking up to people’s cars and sticking their heads inside people’s cars during a PANDEMIC, not at all concerned with the current situation or risk of Covid19. I will never use this Kroger again.
Sucks, very seldom have their specials other Kroger stores are better
Not a fan... especially if this Kroger. Wish they can get some renovation done here... is quiet... and when I went here last I felt like I was shopping at an almost dead store :(
This store has been here for years my mom loves this place and always shop here when she is need of groceries. Staff here is friendly and its very easy to find parking
Tried Kroger- nobody wiping down carts, and absolutely no hand sanitizer anywhere for customers.Every other store I’ve been to has taken these basic precautions. Maybe Kroger isn’t up on current events.
We love Kroger, and we shop there often. Their prices are usually pretty good, but often the checkout isnt quite as quick as I might like. Usually we have frozen foods, and want to move a bit more quickly than ends up happening. The people are always friendly and helpful. The selection is good, and when they dont have something that we want we can always ask at the desk. They try to be helpful and order things if they dont carry them.
So there is nothing posted anywhere and hours have not change on their listing on website l. Walked up employees were basically blocking the door if I need a single item or to shop. Because their where closed!!n this was 1045 lol
I shop here every day...sometimes twice a day. The baskets are often a problem b/c most people are too lazy to take them back to the corral. The Gasoline program is awesome...staff is friendly...prices are good. I wish that they would upgrade the steaks....similar to HEB...
This store has been here for years my mom loves this place and always shop here when she is need of groceries. Staff here is friendly and its very easy to find parking
Nice location. Has a Starbucks. The prices are fair. Usually clean, organized and has the items you need in stock.
Sweetwater Kroger has been a great place to shop until recently. The produce section is not even close to being stocked properly or with fresh quality products. What is available is of poor quality. MANY items are out of stock on a lot of isles and coupons that are supposed to be printable to bring out disappear when you go to print them. The employees are great. Very friendly always!! Offer to assist with taking groceries to car. I wish you had check list pick up and delivery service. I think you would be swamped with business if it were run properly. All in all kudos just check your produce section.
Came at 9am on Saturday 12/14/19. Cashier was extremely rude, lazy and not accommodating. Situation could’ve been avoided if the store had upgraded, roomier cash wraps, but doubtful. This cashier simply should not be working in a service related position. Maybe better suited as an over nighter, shipping/receiving, and/or cleaning crew of some sort. Been shopping here forever but will no longer. Adios!
Not saying it’s not a good Kroger; just avoid curb service like the plague. First time using it. Could not find the right place to go. Stopped an employee and asked him how and where I pick up from curb service. His answer: I really don’t know. Then he kept walking. So helpful. They need to educate the staff. Very disappointing. Next time I want to use curb service I’ll go back to HEB
This is a Signature Kroger and its a very nice location. As with every Signature store Ive been to, this one has an excellent selection of wine, as well as a great selection of produce, meat, and cheese. They even have a little stand of complimentary fruit for kids, which Ive never seen another store do before. Overall my shopping experiences here have been great.
Fairly nice Kroger. In fact, the last time I went, I only encountered one couple who neglected to supervise or rear their children properly, and instead let their elementary age children roam freely and run wild around the store while they shopped. So that is quite good, considering the indeed rather pervasive problem of people doing such in the Sugar Land area. The same people in the surrounding area who go to Costco and Randalls and any other store with a good, loss-leader product or semi-regular, exceptionally good deal, and clean off the shelves for resale in their own place of business, also abuse the offers when Kroger has them at this location, just the same.
I hate Walmart and HEB reminds me too much of a walmart without clothes ....I find myself doing my grocery shopping on Sunday evenings and this works out fine. It’s not crowded and I can get in and out.The store is clean and it’s easy to navigate through the aisles. I don’t usually find have any problems finding items in my list. The cashiers are outgoing as I check out.
I do my entire weeks shopping there and actually save money. Theyve something for everyone in foods. Highly recommended!
Clean store, numerous register. Check out is easy. The attendants are every helpful. Ample parking!
Love this Kroger. Never too crowded, stocked very well 👍👍👍
I went to Kroger and usually everyone is nice and helpful but one of the cashiers we went to, Zakia, was very rude. She was nice to person before us but as soon as we went to the checkout she was so rude and snappy towards my mom. We were also paying for our stuff it wasnt like it was coming out of her pocket she should have manners to treat everyone the same and not show any favoritism its very unprofessional
I love groshery shopping at this location! The store is small which I like. That being said, the selections are limited. I also enjoy using the gas fuel points although this location does not have any gas pumps. Overall a good experience shopping here.
Just got out from kroger, I went to get Turkey and this man was soooooo rude to me he even screamed at me what do you want ! His name is David his an older man ... and when I was trying to let him know that he was not very pleasant he ignore me ... and went to the next customer... that was an employee too
Night staff is terrible. We waited for ten minutes because the cashier didnt have the correct change. He didnt call for assistance, he just kept handing money to his bagger who disappeared and came back with the wrong change. No one ever acknowledged the rest of us waiting in line. We ended up using the self check for over 50 items, which is a nightmare. Dont bother after 6pm unless youre buying one or two things.
DO NOT go to this Kroger if you need to buy baby formula after hours!! (8:30pm)Our daughter went to this Kroger on 1/31 to buy baby formula for her baby. In front of the rows of formula, stacked almost as high as the top shelf, were pallets of Ozarka water. She tried to reach around the pallets to grab the formula, but was unable too.She asked 2 different Kroger associates to please move the pallets, but they said they couldnt. She finally located a 3rd associate to help her reach the formula, and was told, they were unable to sell it with no other explanation. What? Our daughter then drove to Targer to make the purchase with no problem at all.Very upset, I called the Kroger store and asked for the manager in charge ( her name was Sally) I then explained the current situation at her store. Sallys pathetic response was, all of our baby formula has to be blocked at night, because it was being stolen. And that makes our prices of formula to increase.I then called the Corporate Office, and will follow up today. I am also going up to the store today and visit with Mr. Tito, the store manager!!!
I bought a cake from this store in the evening after I got off from work and wanted them to write happy birthday along with my wifes name on it. The hand writing was like that of a 2 yr old. It was horrible. But after having worked all day I had little time to get a cake and get home before she does. If there wasnt enough space then they could have said something .I would have understood. Also the wait time to check out is ridiculous. 2 or 3 registers are opened at any given time. Even the cashiers move so slow. Kroger feels like its old and living in the past. A prime location like this in sugar land deserves something modern, fast and able to give you low prices with faster check out and better quality. Im surprised Kroger hasnt gone under?
Fresh fruit. Cosmic crisp apples...
I frequent this location all the time, I use the self checkout a lot & the employees are always super nice & helpful! The regular register lanes are always long during peak hours, but the self checkout always moves fast, convenient since I usually dont buy a lot of stuff at one time.
Lots of stuff. Fresh bread. Was looking for beef soup bones after butcher was closed at 9: 00pm and found them at Foodarama but not here otherwise five stars.
Love this store. Cashiers are very friendly and if i cant find something on the shelf they will look in the back for you. Very clean and organized.
Since the remodeling over the past 3 months there has been a decline in the overall quality of the of this store. Many items have been pulled out of the shelves without notice of warning. The bountiful appearance of yore has given way to a store with limitations and in my opinion decline in quality and selection of fruits and produce. The management pulled off the fresh made corn tortillas, the selection of cheeses is less, the fruit is small and only in small quantity. For a store in a very affluent part of town this is a definite downgrading instead of an improvement. The manager (who was courteous and attentive) blamed upper management on many of the decisions.
Cake decorating is super professional! Looked like a $300+ design, but was under $50! Rekha (?) Is the one to look for. She is the only decorator at the location! Our daughters party rocked because of her cake!
Love this location. They always have what I need. And plenty of stuff I dont. Lol
Google shows that the store is open until 12 am but when we came at 11 pm it was closed. The timings need to be updated.
Love the fried chicken! Update - while I still love the fried chicken, the cashiers are very rude and when I got home, I realized not all of my purchases were in the bag. She was very unhelpful and accused me of stealing a bell pepper. The girl that work the self checkout is very nosy and pushy. JUST BACK OFF! I dont love the fried chicken that much to put up with this nonsense. Back to Popeyes!
The people in the floral dept did not seem to want to make a sale. I had to pretty much coax them into selling me an arrangement for a new baby.
What has happened to the once nice neighborhood grocery? Messy shelves, empty shelves, 3 speaker calls to get customer assistance for a customer needing help locating an item...the store has gone downhill fast. Whats up?
My first time at that location. Very nice clean store that was well stocked. The staff was also nice.
Today was one of those days where I question why I continue to shop here. They had two registers open and neither cashier seemed to be in a big hurry. When I asked if she would call someone to open more registers, she did, but nobody ever came. Something from the deli didnt ring up right, and she paged them, but they never called. I was in line for nearly 30 minutes and by the time I got home (I live just over two miles away) my ice cream and melted. This trip was extremely disappointing. Im not sure when or if I will go back.
Pretty well stocked store! Employees working everywhere, especially in Produce! I just wish there was one closer to my house.
Its a grocery store, better than some because they have a good bakery, a deli, and offer an olive bar and sushi. But I have also been to other grocery stores that have had more to offer than they do.
This is a nice grocery store with just about anything you could ever need. They had a big produce section and lots of organic options throughout. They even had a little health food section in the middle of the store with a lot to choose from.
Worst curbside pick up experience ever !!You guys need to learn from HEB
Clean friendly staff Ive been going here for years on end. Always have good sales
You can find good products at this Kroger, the only inconvenience is that I found this certain cashier that were a little rude and unrespecfult, I will not said a name, but is a she, night shift. Everything else was pretty good.
The Kroger store used to be very good but its starting getting worse recently, especially in meat sector; overall quality is far less compared with a year ago, wonder if it is under new management.
Very clean, tidy and the shop attendants so friendly and attentive. I really enjoy shopping my groceries in this store!!
Great grocery store. Good price, service
Its a Kroger which means its good in a pinch. Little variety — youre best off going to H-E-B or 99 Ranch nearby if you need special ingredients.
Good selection. Beautiful store layout. Helpful, courteous staff.
With my last experience at a Kroger being a complete disaster I was not in the mood for any foolishness, but this store was refreshing. I had 2 special needs teenagers providing my service, and honestly they were Absolutely the best.
Not all stores of the same company are alike. This Kroger store is very nice. The staff is friendly, and when the lines get long, usually they open another cash register.Which means one can usually get in and out rather quickly. On the other hand, this store is often short of supplies. They run out of stuff. That is annoying because then one has to make another trip.I havent yet used their click list. However, I do plan giving it a try.
This is our main grocery store. I can always find what I need and with good prices. The produce, bakery, deli and floral areas are nice additions.
Rude and bias cashier (Jayla, who kept me waiting for 30 minutes because the had wrong signage on their product and didnt have the common sense to apologise for the delay.i literally had to keep asking when they will bring the right product. She just kept ringing out all customers behind me) and saucy Patricia(customer service manager).Kroger has a policy tonqcxpto expired up to 30 days past the expiration date.I guess Patricia was having a miserable day,she said no
Every visit there is a nightmare, and always manage to ruin your mood. I think their main problem is under staff, under trained, so service ended up very bad. They dont really tag the price properly so customers always have to argue back on the wrong price scanned, not entirely the cashiers fault but the way they handle with customers is almost hard to absorb. The last visit, the cashier was very impatient with an elderly woman. Elderly people are already helpless, imagine them trying to make them feel even more helpless with their impatience. Untrained new cashiers usually have problems scanning the onions the wrong price. Prices always not updated. Try visiting a Kroger in Virginia vs one in Texas, its really heaven and hell.
Convenient location. Weekly deals. Produce is well kept and reasonably priced.
A great small Kroger location with all the amenities of the big, mega stores.
Nice store with all the necessary items. A little high priced compared to some other stores. Great choice of ice creams.
Been going to this Krogers for years and still enjoy this place and there is always the same cashier she is super nice and sweet.
Great selection on produce! The store was very clean and the associates were friendly.
Parking lot is kind of small and they dont get the baskets picked up enough. But over all good store
Very bad management
I went to Krogers to grab lunch, & decided to grab Starbucks. The store its self is great. But the lady working he starbucks. Has poor work ethic. Briyanna is her name. She was sitting in the corner on her phone. They had to page her to go back to the station. I had to tell her twice what I wanted. And she didnt even know how to make the drink. I asked her about a product and she had no idea about it. Ive been in customer service for years. And shes not doing the job.
Have been a long time Kroger customer, but may be switching to HEB. Very frustrating to have only 4 check out lines open (not counting the express line). Everyone is getting off work, all those checkout lines and only 4 open. Unfortunately, this isnt the first time to have this experience. That coupled with the items frequently out of stock. How could a store be out of lettuce?? And quit rearranging the store!
Over the last several months more and more familiar brands are disappearing being replaced by house brands. I hit this store at 5 p.m. on a Saturday and with more than a dozen registers available only three checkers working. Done with this store.
This Kroger is the best we go there all the time, its great.
Convenient location. Weekly deals. Produce is well kept.
Good store. Needs more cashiers. Not automated check out self scans.
The only reason that I didnt give it 5 stars is the wait time at the pharmacy.
It has issues but its getting better with the new manager
Sunday Morning is the best time to go, good deals, fresh vegetables and fruits...
Sad to say but I just the most embarrassing experience Cashier was Dee I had a coupon of 25 % off this cashier saw it and she replied no no this is not a market place like I know that ( she was laud) I did not replied back cause was embarrassing but please train your cashier to be a litte bit more polite.😑😑😑😑😑. And not embarrassed your customers
Clean and Convenient but pricier than HEB
Good prices Excellent Services from Employees very helpful I Brage U GuyesThanks for your Outstanding kindnessMr Clark & Family
The employees were very rude. Another customer skipped ahead of me in line and the cashier not only let him but also showered him with niceties and then ignored me. Terrible customer service. A self service register is more polite than the employees that work here.
Gwen in customer service is helpful, kind and present. Would have given 5 * but parking lot is way too small for the volume of ppl they serve
Found what I wanted with no long lines.
