This place was not only well watched, but also well taken care off, for a junk yard.The guy that helped me knew exactly what I needed and walked me to the part personally.price was more than fair and the employees are more than helpful.I plan to take all of my spare part needs to this establishment.The ground was muddy, so if you plan a visit here remember to bring your boots! Beside that, they were nice and friendly.Would definitely recommend.

Good place to buy parts for your v vehicle I bought my door panel Fuse cover and various parts of my Dash Im going back to get my dash and some other parts I need for the interior of my truck and exterior Id recommend it although sometimes the prices seem a little high for used parts

Needed a tire and rim for a spare. No one in lake charles had it, but Tops did at a great price. These guys r the bomb.

When I asked for part I needed I didnt have enough workers so I offered to get I retrieve an arm rest for my door I pulled charged me 25 but charged 10 for a bumper to a guy and the part was already pulled. Very rude owners

I have called them on several parts I needed then went to the parts store and bought it new for the same price they wanted used. Shop online and get your parts cheaper.

Was informed for 3 days, the 3rd day being the day that I was actually able to make it to the yard to get a part, that they did in fact have it. Said they had just what I needed... only to arrive and for the owner to say that he just forgot to delete the part out of his system and he did not if. Mind you, I drove all the way from Iowa to get it...for him to just ask me for my number so that he can call me when he gets another one. 2nd time to work with Tops and with out a doubt the last time.

I went there today to purchase 4 headrests and they were what I needed and the guy at the counter said he’d rather sell all the seats together. And asked me for prices online and said no he couldn’t do that to go to laffeyette I’d have a better chance. It’s a S A L V A G E yard for a reason and he’d rather let them rot in the weather than sell them.

This is the best auto scrap yard, or used auto parts yard in the entire greater Lake Charles Area. All of the others have people working the phones that just do not care. They dont want to help you and dont want to sell you anything. Tops, on the other hand, will answer your questions. They will check and see if they have the part you need. I dont know why the others just say no every time I call and ask for a part. I know they have it, I live right behind them and can see some of the parts I have called and asked about!!! Well Tops is a few miles further for me to drive, but they are the only place I will call from now on. They get all of my business. Thank you Tops! Edit: For those that do not understand how business works, you will have to pay for someone to pull the part you want. Also, they are running a business, so they have to charge more than $3 for any used parts. There are even lists you can look up online to see the value of a working used door handle or intake manifold. Dont be upset that the first time you happen to go to an auto salvage yard you have to pay a few dollars for a part.... if you dont like it go buy it new! Or try the auto salvage yard on Gulf Hwy in Lake Charles, you will be running back to pay Tops what they ask.

They stiff you a lil on the converters when u sale to them but i kinda under stand its a biss and they got make theres i guess but other then that very good place

The employees are very nice. The yard is a bit rough to walk through but what do you expect it being a junkyard right? Theres a lot of vehicles to pick and pull from. Youll eventually find what you need. My husband goes here everytime he needs a quick part.

Went there looking for a back glass for my truck, they really love their junk there over priced I tried to negotiate price and they wouldnt asked if they gave military discount guy looked at me like I just shot his dog. Im all about shopping local but not here you can keep your junk

If I could give a quarter of a star, I would.Got a call from a friend of mine asking me to pick up a part for them, one of the most simple parts of a car you can remove, a spring. They said it would be ready around 3pm. Get here expecting the spring to be sitting on the counter. To my surprise in was not. Asked one of the clerks if itll be out soon. He responds with It takes time. Well its 3pm and the part isnt off the vehicle as you said. Approximately 3:30pm, the mechanic doesnt know a shock from a spring from a strut. The coil spring or the shock? 4pm and finally youre on your way up here. Sorry it took so long, probably just the cold. Dude what!? Never coming back again.....

Great customer service and very informative. Didnt take long to locate part and sometimes you may have to get hands on with them regarding your part. It was worth the drive from Lake Charles. Compared to other salvage yards their very organized.

Tried to sell me a damaged part. Condition was obvious. I offered a lesser price and the refused my offer. Responses to parts requests are slow. The pricing seems on the high side. 50-60% of a new part for a vehicle I expect to keep is excessive. I have no plans to return.

This place sucks. I heard this place pulls the part. So I didnt bring any tools. I told the young black hair kid who looks like he hasnt worked a day in his life. Needed a haircut too. What I needed. He looked confused too me too go see if I can find it I found it. He said $20 u pull it. I told him I didnt bring any tools he said oh well I said can I pay to borrow yours he said no. So screw them.
