The mint sugar cookie with chocolate chips are wonderful! Theyre the perfect holiday cookies. Honestly though, Id eat them any time of year, so I hope theyre not just there for the holidays.Weve tried almost all of their cookies over the past few weeks, and they all taste great! It doesnt even matter what time you get them, they still taste fresh-baked. My favorites are: strawberry crinkle, original chocolate chip, & mint sugar with chocolate chips. Again though, you cant go wrong getting any of their cookies. Ive got to try those cookie cakes next.

I normally enjoy the place and the cookies with one employee that’s always helpful, today was not that day. Took my daughter in to get some cookies and stood in front of the cookies to order, realized there was a line to go around the ice cream bar back to the cookies. The customer that came in after us walked straight to the cookies and was waited on by a girl. The guy working asked what we needed and I told him we just needed cookies, as we walked to the cookies he walked to the next customer and the girl at the cookies started on a phone order. When she finished she walked to the back, when he finished with the customer behind me he made direct eye contact with me and then proceeded to the next customer after them at which after waiting through three customers behind us to get their orders placed and is not having been waited on, we left.

Marissa was so awesome in helping my friend and I and Kyle was also amazing. We laughed and laughed and the ice they mixed for us with the red velvet ice cream and yellow cake chunks and Oreos and pecans was so good

Straight to the point version: Skip this place. There are better ice cream shops in the area.Long version: What an awful experience ordering a birthday cake was. I first tried to order online but every time I got to the order completion page, it would stall and not complete. I decided to make the order over the phone. After several (5 or more) attempts went unanswered, I asked a family member who lives in the area to visit in person. They made the order and requested the date for pickup. On the day of pickup, I got 5 text messages saying my cakes were being delivered and to be available to receive them. Every order that timed out, went through without confirmation! I went to the store to sort it out and pick up the one cake ordered in person. It wasnt ready. I told them about the online issues and they said, Thats technology for you. Then I told them about not getting through on the phone and they said, Were answering the phone today. They had the wrong date. They were able to slap a cake together that had toppings that were half melting, and no extras on the inside (so just a plain vanilla cake) that wasnt even personalized.

I bought a milkshake that was quite expensive and the flavor was lacking and after drinking the entire thing, I had the serious case of the runs in the powder room. Wont be buy that anymore from them.

The ice cream is GREAT!!!! Only thing I DID NOT LIKE was when I ordered butter pecan with caramel ice cream, they put it on the frozen counter to mix the ice cream, caramel and pecans and some candy and other leftover things were on the counter from previous ice creams made and some were mixed into my ice cream! I could have been allergic to the chocolate pieces that were in my cup! I feel they should clean the counter off with that metal thing after each ice cream. Other than that, it was good! This was last night about 8:30pm in Summerville!

This place is a joke, we come here every Saturday and ask for gluten free cotton candy and mystery this time Brodey the so called supervisor says it is not gluten free, we explained that we know it is gluten free and have spoken to a manager before he said nope nothing I can do. This employee simply just did not want to work today and was rude !! I even picked up the phone and called the charleston store location and asked them if this ice cream was gluten free he said yes it was. I went back into the store and let him know what the charleston store said and he said again nothing I can do. Please avoid this location not accommodating to a customer request or simply not a knowledgeable supervisor.

The young lady behind the counter was very rude and nasty. She yelled at me in front of the whole staff and the customers. Told me I needed to be wearing a mask. (There was another person in there without one, but she only said something to me.) I had one when I was walking in but it fell out of my pocket. She was very unprofessional and very rude. None of us could believe how she acted. First bad experience here. It’s a shame how she acted. She even refused to ring us up and made her coworker do it. Wouldn’t even apologize for yelling or embarrassing me in front of everyone. I will not be going back to that location as long as she works there, as she had my daughter who is 7 scared.

The only reason it did not get five stars is because I was only stopping to get ice cream for my kids, and not myself. Though, Im more of a Cold Stone guy myself. Makes a nice spot to end the night walking around the stores here in summerville. Good way to reward the kids for good behavior in the stores waiting on parents.... Just dangle that carrot (ice cream) out there and its amazing how much better they behave.

We stopped by here while in Azalea Square and enjoy some really good ice cream! They had a large verity of ice cream options to choose from including toppings. They had my favorite Raspberry Sorbet, one that I havent had in a long time! They also had different cone options, you can get your ice cream in a waffle cone or bowl, chocolate dipped or not. They facility itself is small with limited seating but there are two benches right outside their business. I would recommend going here if you need an ice cream fix!

The ice cream is delightful! Quite a few varieties to pick from and almost endless ways to create something new. Staff has changed a bit... for the better. The ice cream is sooo creamy. Its very much worth it.

The ice cream is great. The young lady added a good amount of mix-ins which was appreciated. The cones were good but they leaked from the tip. Two regular sized cream cones ended up being $16 after tip so its expensive and not something we will be getting often but as a treat, every so often, well visit this location. Really, the ice cream was top notch.

I thought this was going to be like Coldstone. The price was better, but the ice cream was not good to me. After a long wait for service ( one employee and family of 5 ahead of me), I only had a few spoonfuls and threw it away. I know you dont know me, but i never throw away ice cream!

Stopped in for an after dinner treat. Service was great. I ordered vanilla ice cream with Carmel topping. I was a little disappointed when they mixed it all together but it was a pleasant ice cream treat.

Delicious ice cream, clean and great atmosphere. They get the nicest people to work here. I was greeted immediatly by the sweetest, funniest and most outgoing young man. I saw the owner walk in with fresh strawberries and other ingredients. After washing up, he put on his apron and went straight to prepping and interacting with guest. Five stars in my book!

This is the first time Ive came to Marble Slab and had horrible service. My husband and I went in at about 10:30 p.m. and a Male employee was emptying something in the trash and cleaning. He did not speak as we entered. There were two more female employees behind the counter who spoke. The male employee came from emptying the trash and attempted to take our order. Needless to say my husband and I did not order because we didnt want him making our ice cream after not washing his hands when coming from the trash can. This is disappointing since we often frequent this establishment. I believe in employing young people, but they need to be trained on appropriate restaurant etiquette.

You can get an unlimited amount of add ins and the ice cream is great

Im from Kansas, where our Maggie Moos closed when I was a pre teen. I just recently moved to Summerville 4 months ago and found this little gem in azalea square. I go in and get my ice cream and see the little Maggie moo logo on the cup. I was so happy to be reunited with Maggie. Also the service was very good. Answered every question I had.

I absolutely loved this place and hate to give it less than a 5, but tonights experience was the last for me. We come here often, the ice cream is always fresh and tasty. Came in tonight waited 10 min in line to be told very curtly that we cannot make shakes and than the young lady went on to something else with what appeared to be a new employee. Now granted in the past they have not been able to make shakes (2 other occasions in the last year) for us due to no cream and the only machine they had was broken. Tonights experiance was not delightful, the store was very hot close to 80 degrees or higher, the bathroom yet again was out of order (seems like all the time) and the young lady was not delightful in the least. We have never had an experience like this before with the staff, they have always been pleasant. So between the curtness of the young lady and once again no shakes it does not make me want to return.

I totally wish there was a way to give this place a negative star rating. My daughter and I went into this location as we normally do. There was a line so we waited our turn. We each asked for a sample before we choose to try something new. The girl behind the counter (breanna) got a little tiffed about having to give a sample. My daughter said I would like cheesecake and sweet cream. Breanna asked what size and she said the large cup. Again she got an attitude and demanded to know if she wanted the best value. As many times as I have purchased ice cream from your store I have never had to say anything more than large cup. Breanna than asked mixed or side by side for the 2 flavors. My daughter replied which ever is easier just to make it faster. Breanna looked to the girl next to her and said oh great another fu**ing retard. This is not acceptable on any level. We walked away from the line to leave when Breanna got angry and demanded we explain. I told her to walk to the end of the counter or step outside because they were children who didnt need to hear. I went outside and called inside to ask for management and was told the manager never comes on and that this person on the phone was the supervisor ( rebecca) and that she hadnt heard any of this. I told her that people that were sitting heard it. An elderly couple hear it and we spoke outside and agreed this was unacceptable. While I was on the phone rebecca asked customers if they heard someone call my daughter that name. One man I could hear said he didnt hear the entire conversation but they knew something was said that made me angry and walk out. I will be getting in touch with the corporate office to make sure this doesnt happen again to anyone. What a horrible way to be treated. On a positive note... I drove to sweet frog where I purchased frozen yogurt with all the fixings and they were happy to see us. You all have lost a customer who shopped with you 2 times or more a week. Negative 5 stars!!
