Went to Smythe Volvo for the first time today. Just went in to introduce myself because I was looking for a Volvo dealer close to my home that I could bring my new S90 T8 for service. Keep in mind I am a car guy! Very picky about who works on my vehicles. Spoke to Val the general sales manager and after talking with him for 15 minutes I found a sense of peace and trust and now Smythe Volvo is my place to go also met Jesus Garcia real nice gentleman and got to know Doug MacAdam the service advisor and I have complete trust that Smythe Volvo will be able to service my Volvo in the future and have answers to any questions I might need answered. Also they have four vintage Volvos on the second floor which gave me a sense these guys are real Volvo guys! I love this place!

Bought a car from Shaun Hayes at Smythe Volvo. He was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and reassuring to work with. I usually dread dealing with sales people, but my experience with Mr. Hayes put me at ease throughout the process. Rarely do i have the opportunity to leave a glowing 5 star review, but i must say my recent trip out to Smythe Volvo from Long Island was well worth the trip. Lets start with simple things. The used Lincoln MKX was accurately described, photographed and no disappointments at all. The price advertised was the price i paid. I ended up with newly refinished wheels as a bonus for my trip out there. (They didnt do it because of that) My salesperson was Stacy and he was kind, patient and treated us with the same dignity as someone buying a new vehicle for much more. He worked hard with the finance manger Abood to find the right situation for our budget and credit. This whole experience is what car buying should be like. Personal, and the right amount of professionalism. I would absolutely refer anyone to this company, and the owners should feel satisfied and proud of their Team. They listened to our needs, worked hard to get us the deal that we could manage, and treated my family with respect and kindness. High marks to you all!! William at Smythe was extremely helpful in helping me decide what car to purchase. I came in to look at a Certified Pre-Owned sedan but really wanted a Wagon. I was considering an CPO Audi A4 Wagon (Too Small) or CPO A6 Wagon (Ridiculously too expensive but what I really wanted). Will let me test drive a S60 and then recommended a V90 Cross Country Wagon. He won me over by not pressuring me and allowing me to take the V90 for a ride alone and show my family without the stress of a sales rep in the car. What clinched the decision is the extensive Volvo CPO Warranty. While I spent more than I planned it was MUCH less than a Certified A6 Wagon and I have a CPO Warranty car that I do not have to worry about costing me an arm and a leg to repair for the next 5 years and beyond. I would love that A6 Wagon (6 Cylinder) experience but the Volvo Cross Country looks great, is a newer model year and has tons of features. Will sold me the right choice for size, price and warranty protection. Lastly the attention to detail in fixing cosmetic issues I found at no cost to me tells me I bought from the right dealer that is customer focused first.Thanks Will

This is a top notch location. Bear in mind that I had gone to multiple dealerships trying to find two cars and I also work in high-end client services. Here are a list of reasons why this place impressed me:1. When I inquired about a car, I was sent an email from the Lupita Padilla, the internet salesperson, including a video of a walk through around the vehicle while the salesperson verbally spoke highlighting aspects about the car and directly addressing me in the video.Lupita also made an sure to welcome me in person along with reception when I arrived.2. I was passed on to William McLaughlin to further discuss the car and options. He was very pleasant, conversational, and attentive. I was buying a car with an accident record but he and the used car sales manager, Rob Steiman, alleviated my concerns when they presented their True360 Comprehensive Vehicle Condition Reportcar. It elaborated on what they did to the vehicle to bring it to their high standards before selling.It gave a score of the body and structure to indicate of any blemishes, or lack thereof, and how much was visible.They also explained that when buying a used car, to consider the wear and tear as it may not be addressed how old the tired, breaks, and rotors are. I visited Smythe Volvo today to look at a possible new lease for my next car. I do not drive a Volvo today but like the look of the small SUV. I recently moved from Hawaii to Michigan and was looking for a new Volvo. I knew I wanted an S60 and I really wanted an R Design. I found 3 cars in the country that met my needs and my number one was at Smythe Volvo. I worked with Sam Shehata who was incredible in going through the car buying process especially while I was states away. Shipping was reasonable and rolled right into the paperwork. He took care of the out of state registration, shipping and delivery of the car, overnighting all the paperwork and the temp registration. I love volvos and he absolutely made me a customer for life. Typically the experience is not easy when car shopping. Sam Shehata, Erik Ramos and the team actually made the entire experience great. We were not pressured, we got to test drive the car vehicle we preferred, and leave to another dealer to test drive another brand as we had options. I had an amazing experience with the purchase of my XC90 at Volvo Smythe. The whole process was quick and easy! When I walked in there, I had my doubts about what I wanted to take home and Kyle really helped me narrow it down, without pressuring me, and keeping in mind my needs and budget the whole time. They are a reputable dealer and I appreciated the transparency about the the car stats, fees and loan interest rates. The payment amount Kyle estimated at his desk before even running my credit (just based on the info I provided) ended up being exactly on the dollar with what Francine in the finance department came up with after processing my loan. The cherry on top to my experience was being able to borrow a car since my own car was not ready to be taken home. Once I picked up my car, Derek walked me through all the cool high tech features in the car and helped me get my phone app set up. Ive seen enough interactions with salespeople over the years to know the difference between someone who is just looking to make a sale and someone who is willing to spend a few minutes on the phone or in person to make sure everything is just right. In short he cares, and it was evident from our first conversation. When youre in the process of selling one home and buying another, i thought that getting a new car is just another thing that was adding to the confusion in my already busy life. That wasnt the case at all because the level of service from Eric and his team was top notch. Id highly recommend him and the Smythe Volvo location any day of the week. Youre not only dealing with great cars there, but great people. Stop in, youll see what i mean.

Went in ready to buy a car. The front desk lady is super nice and helpful. The sales person is less so. The exchange was awkward. I was hoping to find a car that’s a different color and asked if they would search around and deliver for a small fee (another Volvo dealership told me it could be done) and he joked they aren’t a valet service. Maybe it was just a joke gone bad. Maybe the market is great so losing a buyer isn’t much of a big deal. But he really isn’t trying much. I sat there awkwardly and said thank you and then left. I didn’t have a lot of time to search for cars since I am a new mom of two. Even though the color wasn’t exact, I was gonna just buy it. But I decided to leave and purchased the car somewhere else. Giving 3 stars for the reception lady.

Came in due to Storm Ida where I lost my vehicle in a flood. I met Samer Shehata who helped me with this transition where I feel I got very lucky. Not only did he patiently answered the numerous questions my wife had, but he is very knowledgable and attentive to our needs. Kudos to Volvo for having a discount for those that lost their car in the flood. Very surprised you had a promotion in such a quick turnaround time! This is my second Volvo that I get here and wont be my last.

There arent enough ways for me to share how professional and helpful he was. He listened to what we were looking for and ensured that we got it. He even helped us finish the deal according to the time we needed to leave. I think the most important part of our business relationship is Shaun was honest with us. I had a great experience today. I brought in my car for an annoying rattle and arranged for a loaner car. My 18 Polestar S60 was in for its 20000 mile service and for a winter package consisting of wheels and snow tires. My service advisor was Tom Coward who I have worked with since 2010. The car was turned around in a matter of a few hours. Smythe was nice enough to hold on to my summer tires/wheels for few days until I can get my truck down there to pick up my tires and bring them home. Smythe Volvo and their parts & service team get 5 stars because theyve earned my trust.
