Good people and will know more about their product in a week. They purchase used golf carts and totally refurbish them and here is the kicker - you get to customize color and equipment I recommend going on line at ez-go and build your own, then compare. We live in an electric cart only community so your only future costs will be new batteries in 3-4 years.
Discount Golf Carts refurbished carts and new carts as well as just traded in, as is carts. The as is trade in go VERY FAST but if you want a new looking cart with warranty and you can spend the cash, go for the refurbished carts. They have all new parts and you cannot see any difference from those to the new ones. Great place to shop...
I would offer a zero star review if it was allowed. Save money and time and go with ANYONE else. Price gauging salesmen. Needed a new battery. After they towed it in, they magically found that I need an entire new wire harness due to corrosion. I do not. I am an engineer and inspected the system myself before I let them tow it away. I found a lower price by $600 with just one phone call. After they towed my cart back, they charged me $50 for the tow to and from and they proudly said that I was no longer a customer of theirs. So childish from this 70 year professional. Just say no!
Thus far I have been very happy. I have worked with Mike Bunker and with Edo and have ordered a cart. Both are very accommodating. They tell me it will be ten days to two weeks before the cart is completed. After reading some reviewers’ comments about service, batteries and warranties, I will clarify some of those issues with Mike before I pick up the cart.
I went to discount golf today because I bought batteries from them that are 9 months old. My cart requires 7 batteries. The last couple of times I noticed that one cell the water was down to the plate so I went to discount golf because this is a sign that a battery is going bad and places a load on the other batteries. The man I believe his name was Bob came out to look at my batteries and he said you have low batteries I said I know thats why I came here I have one bad cell that requires a lot of water it goes down to the plate and all the others plenty water above the plate, he went inside got a glass of water and put it in that cell and never came back and went on giving attention to other customers. I went back in the store saw a man sitting at the desk and I said to him are you the manager he said one of them I told him my situation and he came out looked at my batteries and took the cart into to the shop came out 20 minutes latter and he said that will be $20.00 I said for what he said I put water in your batteries.I checked all the batteries before I went their and they all had water above the plates. He said if you have anymore problems bring it back. I talked to my friend that has worked in golf cart maintenance for over 20 years he said of course you have a battery that is defective and it will effect other batteries. I am 90 years and this is the first review written but havent lost my marbles yet. Don Schmidt
Completely thrilled with our purchase from Discount Golf Cars of AZ! Mike listened to us - suggested the best golf car for our needs - we have a sporty and fast golf car for Wickenburg Ranch! He comes to WR regularly and is so supportive after the sale! The self-watering system for the batteries is tops and so easy to use. We highly recommend Mike, as he is fair and honest - and his prices are AMAZING! We not only ended up with a really fine golf car...we gained a friend in the process.PS Keep this just between us...Mike likes a good ice cream cone!
Great service and very knowledgeable! Have always been very pleased with the service @ Discount Golf! We have enjoyed doing business with them! Great team...Chris, Bob, Renee, Mike, Tim and Randy!!Gary & Patricia Stevens
I didnt buy anything today. But I was impressed by their selection of cars and the knowledge of their salespeople. I will probably be back to make a purchase.
Yet Another round with the service guy saying there is nothing wrong with our cart. He refused to drive it up to speed to identify the loud shrill that happens when we get up to speed. He was confrontational, denied the issue, and refused all input. Do not buy a used cart here? You will regret your purchase and Their warranty is limited. They were going to charge us to do warranty work. They are out to take your money but no customer service after that. They even walked by us for 10 minutes without asking us for us assistance after entering the store.
Renee was very knowledgeable about their products. Anyone who owns an electric cart should stop in and learn the best way to take care of their battery. We bought a cart and couldnt be more satisfied.
Great people, great service. They stand behind their product and very friendly
Needed a minor adjustment or two on the cart I purchased last November. Chris and the boys gave me top priority and had me in and out in 30 minutes and of course no argument about warranty. I appreciated the service I got !
Was good when Iwas buying 2 golf carts costing around $16,000.was under impression everything was new. In less than 1 year batteries go bad in 1 cart he tells me those battles are 3 years old & wont do anything about it then he tells me they Will keep it overnight clean batteries and cables and put ON big charger. 5 minutes later his mechanic drops it off at my house and says there you go boss that was 6 months ago not a word sense since got my money guess that was all he cared about
I stopped here to check on renting a golf cart. They do not rent, but have a large selection of new and prior owned golf carts. They do give a lot of personal attention, even the down to the secretary near the front door. Because it is a small business, you may have to wait until someone is free from attending to other customers.
Good service! Honest with fair prices. The place for your next cart
Great place 👌
Discount golf did just such a great job for us it was out of line and I take corners too fast and there’s holes in the golf course they replaced all the parts the bushings the everything that goes with alignment I paid for the tires and we were all good to go. I really appreciate their help Kathy
In March of 2016 we purchased a NEW electric golf cart that included a 3 year warranty. In December of 2017 we noticed the batteries were not holding a charge and took it to the dealer. Of the four batteries one was deemed bad. They replaced that battery. a couple weeks later we did not see any performance improvement and took it back to the dealership. They now deemed all the batteries were bad and needed to be replaced. they informed us that they were past the warranty. Note: when purchasing the cart we asked about battery life expectancy and was told by the owner that 5-6 years is typical. He said we could get a pro rated deduction since they only lasted 22 months. I argued with owner and eventually he agreed to install NEW batteries at his cost. When we got the cart back we noticed that the performance was actually worse. I then took the cart to a nearby EZGO dealership and they found the following: The batteries installed were made in Feburary of 2017 and the cart was a 2015 vs. a 2016. I contacted the dealership and was told that they were new but was sitting on the shelf. At this point I felt I was lied to on both the batteries newness and the cart was not new.Note: I paid an extra $1000 for a new cart vs. used. While reviewing my options the cart tail lights would not shut off. I took it back to the dealership and was told by the mechanics that the owner said they were not to service our cart. I informed them that I still had 13 months remaining on my warranty. He repeated his instructions to not service our cart. Currently the cart is at the EZGO dealership awaiting repairs. I have submitted a formal complaint to BBB. Note: I have purchased 2 golf carts from this establishment for a total of $18,000.
Quality products and exemplary customer service!I am a two-time customer who is delighted with my carts and even more delighted with their customer service.
Easy to work with in purchasing a cart, but you expect that when they are trying to sell you something. What I am happy about is that when I had a problem with the cart and how they handled it.Yesterday the cart became disabled. I called today at 8:30AM and described the problem. By 9:05 the service man was at my home. From my description he thought he know what the problem was and brought the part. By 9:15 the cart was repaired.
I am very I stopped for am going back tomorrow and buy the cart I really like the service I received.
No pressure, love the process.
Very good and fear deal during the process of selling my Dads golf cart.
We got a golf cart here, awesome cart and folks to work with! Thank you so much!
