The woman who checked me out was so friendly, so naturally I expected a fine shopping experience. Wrong. The man working the floor was so incredibly rude. I accidentally dropped some binders I was grabbing in clearance and he got overly upset with me, addressing me as if I was a child who didn’t belong there in the first place. He then proceeded to be the rudest sales associate I have ever encountered in retail. Dismissive and short. I just needed materials for school. No wonder everyone buys from Amazon, at least Alexa has manners!
Nice printing people
Twice I’ve brought some complicated problems to them and they were super knowledgeable and helpful!I was so pleased with Luke’s help!
As an Office Supply store, you can’t let your toner stock status be back ordered….
Positive retail experience can be difficult to come by, especially with large chain stores. This OfficeMax is staffed by pleasant, welcoming folks anxious to help. Two visits so far. I’ll happily increase v this to 5 stars if they keep it up.
Angela and the entire printing staff are incredible. They are fast, friendly and efficient. Pricing is super competitive. Communication is excellent and work with you on tight deadlines. I highly recommend using their services.
Great experience! Everyone was welcoming, and the moment I entered in, they were able to assist me! 10/10 Would buy school supplies here again!
Angela and Bob in the printing department are AMAZING!! I had a very challenging project that other print shops couldnt handle. At this Office Depot they made light work of the project and dealt with all of my perfectionist requests with a smile! The project turned out PERFECTLY
Sage was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable and nice. I will honestly just come back to the store because of the great help she offer us. Super patient answering all the questions I had.
I thought Id name this to be tremendously adequate but instead Ill call the stock close to adequate, keeping in mind that its adequate for the size. Its definitely smaller than the Boulder store and Ive run into problems wandering the aisles, wondering if Ill run into what I need or a helpful human first. It makes me hurt just thinking about it, especially when I dont find either.Cleanliness- yes indeed. The store is clean and organized. Thats good but Id rather have a bit of disorder and more stock. Retail does this thing- more sales mean you get a better tier store. Better tier stores get more customers and sell more- and they often skip lower tier stores to shop at shiny new better tier. Lower tier drags along, never moving up because why. Its better than no store so thanks I guess.
Completely missed the deadline on a print job for a client. I called ahead before picking up the project only to find out it wasnt even started. Had I known they were backed up, I could have taken it to 2-3 other vendors in the area.Update: They rushed the order and to my surprise, completed the job within an hour of my call. It was too late to meet client deadline, but I appreciated the hustle on their part.
Bob at the printing counter should not be working there.A person who doesnt understand computers and flash drives is not the person you want handling an expensive printing job for you.I feel like his demeanor is gruff and mean, and every request I had he acted like it was a huge inconvenience and everything he would do for me would be an extreme favor.Typical male mansplaining what I wanted to order instead of him listening to what I wanted to order.Get rid of him and hire someone who understands computers and using a respectful tone towards women.
They have a great supply of printer inks. A staff member was able to quickly help me find the ink cartridge that fit my printer. Dont be afraid to ask someone what youre looking for, they have a pretty good system to find inventory fast.
Store personel put a Heavy Duty Easel together so we could see it before purchase. Very professional, fast easy service. Pleased with product too!!
Absolutely rude employees. asked for help, and had to say excuse me three times. employee wouldnt turn his head, kept doing the price stickers and spoke to me with a rude tone. then screamed across the store to tell me where to go.
These guys bent over backwards to help me out even though they ended up losing a lot of money from the deal. I can only imagine how well they would treat a customer that actually made them money. So heres what happened. They put a for sale sign on the wrong desk/hutch set. The sign was for a cheap desk, but they put in on the expensive desk. I didnt know it at the time. It just looked like an insane deal, so I took it. At home I started to put it together only to find that it was the wrong desk. I called them back, and they realized the mistake. The manager, I believe her name was Angela, told me I could get the desk I thought I was getting. If it was more, I wouldnt have to pay the extra. If it was less, they would give me back the difference. Awesome.I returned the desk and showed them the one I thought it was going to be. I noticed they fixed the sign. It now said the sale was for $400 when before it said $250. They still honored it.Now if I was simply happy because of the crazy mistake, I wouldnt be writing this. It was how they reacted to this and how they treated me that prompts me to write this. They didnt balk or complain. They simply honored the bargain. The desk wasnt in stock. There was only the display model. So they had to order one, and at this time they are still in the process of merging with Office Depot. So they had to go back and forth between both systems. It looked rather confusing and complicated. The young man who helped me, I think his name is Chris, worked really hard to make everything work out for me. It took him an hour to do it, and I can see how some people would be upset by the wait, but I saw how hard he was trying. Dealing with a strange situation and working with two different systems with one being new to him and an import system new to him looked pretty stressful and difficult. He handled it with diligence and professionalism. I really appreciate his efforts. The icing on the cake was that the system kept insisting on shipping the desk to my house for $40 instead of doing a store pickup. So Chris and Angela finally just had the system ship the desk to my house while subtracting the $40 so I would pay it.If this isnt customer service, I dont know what is. And they were losing money off of me. How much more if they were actually making money. They get all 5 stars. Id give them more if I could.
Luke and Josh knew their stuff...Much cheaper than Morel for printing to cacanvas, although Morel has higher qualities of Canvas, FYI.BTW, MIchaels is just a ross the Lot, well, two lots. Lol...
Is there a lower rating than 1? Spent over an hour trying to purchase a gift card. Even though they could not activate the card my credit card was charged the full amount (over $400). Simple solution, refund, right? Them No, we cant give you a refund on a gift card. Me, But it doesnt work. Them, thats correct. After an hour of them telling me no and trying to contact the GC company, I called the district manager, Travis. Within 2 minutes I had the refund. Why is it that common sense can not trump company policy? By the way nothing was offered for my time, not even an appology. Terrible
Ordered online. Got email that my order was in. Very smooth process.
I dont know what it is about office supplies but I love looking at office supplies. I like looking at all the different kinds of pens, copy paper, invisible tape dispensers, desks, chairs, mats, binder clips, binders, spiral notebooks, printers, printer ink, lamps, Post-It notes, staplers, scissors, paperclips, markers, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and more. I could roam these aisles for hours and never get bored. Unfortunately thats called loitering and as much as it is getting arrested, I prefer to avoid that option. So I limit my visits to 15-20 to avoid raising suspicions of my true intentions. This is a nice store. Very clean and straightforward.
Pretty clean inside and friendly staff even if they push the sale items at checkout.
Descent selection of things but I would really only go here if youre in a hurry otherwise ordering online is a better option
The new store manager Krista is turning this officemax into my favorite store. Awesome service, clean store, always in stock on the stuff I need.
Excellent customer service 👍
Good selection of office supplies and furniture.
Regularly stop here for printing proposals. Very friendly staff.
Very helpful staff
Staff is friendly and helpful.
A smaller, Office store, but they usually have what Im looking for.
A standard selection of office supplies, but the print center seems a bit understaffed.
OK OfficeMax location.
