Upon entering the store I was asked if I would like a mask 😷. Unnecessary!! Other than that, I prefer to do my grocery shopping here. The clothing, household goods such as toilet paper, and stuff such as razors were a little high by my standards but not unrealistic.

Newer store. Set-up to have you cover the whole store perimeter when shopping for groceries. Want to keep you in the store to continue to buy more. Store was very clean and organized. Shopping carts were in good repair and clean. Ill be back.

I honestly really want to like shopping here but I am getting tired of buying products in the store only to find they are expired when I get home.This has been an ongoing issue with this location - with juice, milk, cheese and other items.Most recently, I puchased a bakery item, some brownies in a container. I took one bite and knew something was off. I then saw the exp date on them was February 2021. It is now November!!!As much as I love the convenience of the location and the shopping experience, I cant keep throwing my money away.

The prices are fair. The staff are nice. The bakery is delicious with a variety to offer.

First time Ive ever been to the store and really enjoyed it! Lots of options & selection for groceries. I also liked the small clothing area. It was especially nice to see that close didnt stop at an XL but they went to a 3X in some of the styles.

I did a pick up over at Meijer in Sycamore for the very first time.Totally disappointed. My apricots were all over the back of my truck my chips had apples placed on top. I requested that she put all the bags in the insulated bag so they dont rip thats why everything was all over the back of the truck. Called no Sup was available was told she would call back. She did but went into my voicemail. The number was incorrect that I tried calling several times . I tried pick up service again some of my fruit was moldy. Tried one more time for pick up and it was great. Training is much needed in the pick up Department. So I spoke to a supervisor Brenda who quickly turned my situation into my fault. I did not know the specific date so she said she couldnt help me. She said how do I know youre not trying to get a $15 credit. As the call back supervisor stated. I was not happy with that statement. She cut me off a couple times, She raised her voice. Basically she said she could not help me in any particular way. Because she didnt know the date I was there which I didnt have in front of me. Because I figured she could pull it up. Nope! I would suggest if you are handicap and unable to go into the store. Dont use Meijer Sycamore which is supposed to be convenient.I use Walmart pick up. Awesome service.

Me and my husband just left there and it was a horrible experience . We went to cashier Rosie. I said hello to her and she didn’t say anything back to me. Then she was throwing our food to the bagging area. They are short staffed and I totally understand so my husband starts bagging and she still was throwing our food so my husband asked her to stop please and she started yelling at him. Mind you she had an attitude the moment we walked up. Also I noticed she wasn’t that way to the customer before us who were white. I’m white and my husband is black. She’s an older woman and I would think she should know better on how to treat customers! She was also upset I was wearing a mask and she couldn’t hear me? Isn’t she supposed to great me first? Also when I said hello I was standing right in front of her and I was looking right at her. We will not shop here and I will be letting all family and friends know about this and we know tons of people! Get rid of her because you just lost a ton of business!

Love that they opened this location here! Store is nice and never very crowded, always enough check out lanes open. Hidden clearance throughout store mixed in regular aisles within the department which is nice. Can also find clothing on clearance decent quality for a steal. Employees are overall friendly and helpful except for a few of the ladies in the deli. Overall love shopping here, mperks saves me a lot of money!

Like the layout and its new! Always liked the prices on veggies and fruits, like starfruit 🙂 Noticed they have some items not available at other stores,and vice versa. Glad they are in our neighborhood

It is a clean and fresh store. Everything is easy to get to. They are constantly cleaning as you go through the store. Wide aisles, nicely stocked. Had almost everything I regularly shop for. Produce was fresh and decent price. Lots of prepped fruits and veggies ready to go. A deli counter right next to the produce and not hidden in the back. Large pet section including bird seed, health, supplies, etc. A little bit of everything it seems. Wasnt hard to locate where anything was. Picked up a number of the Meijer brand items to try. Will be back to shop more.

I like the store much better atmosphere than some of the other big box stores, looked at some clothes looked like better quality than some other stores

Great store, incredible selection. Only problem is, lot of empty holes. Product is empty in key popular areas. Dont know if this is a stocking issue, or inventory one. Either way, things I want are always out of stock.

Forces you to create an account just to search for products on their website. I dont know who they put in charge of marketing or website management, but this has got to be the most irritating issue Ive ever experienced with a business. Incredible strategy for losing customer conversions.

One of the best Meijer’s I’ve been to! It’s so organized, clean, and always seems to be in stock of everything I need!

A good selection but items arent placed logically in the aisles. I have to go down several aisles to find what I want. Prices are reasonable. Good weekly sales. Using M-Perks helps with store coupons off and money towards next shopping trip. Store is clean and neat.

Everything was good Except your deli! You lost three customers at deli. No one would even look up at you or come help. Chinese area saw me but never said anything to the girls standing in deli. THEN when I had to ask if someone could help me, she was overly sweet sarcastically! Wont be buying anything from you deli service. Rude and not wanting to wait on people.

The store is clean and spacious. The prices are high, sometimes double what you would pay at Walmart. I arrived at 8:30pm and the Garden Center was closed. Couldnt find some of the products I needed. Checked out to find the west side doors were locked, had to travel through the parking lot to get to the car. I guess this store is for folks more concerned with the environment than the price tags.

I dont even want to give this Bakery a 1 star! I ordered a Unicorn cake for my daughters first birthday. The first picture is what I ordered. The second picture is what they made me! This looks NOTHING like the picture that they advertise in their cake book! This is my first time ordering a cake from them and it will be the last. You guys need better cake decorators. This is unacceptable.

Modern store with a very large selection of anything you could think of. Positive and friendly staff. Very clean and inviting. Would return again in the future.

Ordered a bday cake to be picked up on Sat at 1030 get there at 1100 and no cake lost my order they made one but thats not the point need to have a better way of doing things would of been hard to tell a 5 year why there was no cake also had to wait around for bout 30 min to even order the cake person was on break so not very happy for all this

Frozen fresh avocados. Seriously lacking on every product. Cant but in store the same items as the gas station. Zero customer service. Jewel is 100 times better and more customer focused.... didnt assist a single customer. More interested in chatting with another employee.

Recently, I had been to Meijer and I noticed something a little different. And I am curious if it is just me but Meijers associates seems to be just a little lethargic. It is like they lost their zeal to say Hi, may I help you with anything. And when you arrive to Meijer, the greeter typically say Hi, welcome to Meijer... for that warm welcoming experience as to say You could had chose anywhere to shop but you chose us so thank you but instead just silence- silence even when greeted with a Hello or Hi. I absolutely hate that. Prices on certain items went up but barely noticable unless you like tamales then they are very noticable. Same great prices on meat and with the Flashfood app- you can save even more. Not quite like the Wally World experience with long lines and associates commiserating with each other while you wait for service but not quite like the Meijer when it was the new kid on the block.

Recently retd after 4 mo period. Went to Meijer to replenish supplies. So disappointed in meats, dairy & produce. Really had to watch dates. Some things were current date, others 1-2 days out and some expired. I moved a discount sticker on a piece of meat too see date...2 days beyond date. Really liked it when first opened, but not sure I will be returning.

I love Meijer, they have the matzo crackers & they have the yankee candles that I buy all the time, I dont have to go all the way to the mall just to buy my favorite candles.

I waited longer than usual and was out last minute Christmas shopping and I wish this was the first place I went. I thought I would have at least 3 more stops and was able to to make this my final honestly couldve made it my only. The staff was so incredibly helpful and nice, the shelves were stocked and organized, and I left feeling in the holiday spirit (a stark difference from the stress and bah humbug from the previous stores that day). So thank you to the staff for keeping an impeccable store and attitudes - made my day!!

Meijers here has been open for some time now and is in a great location. Is always in stock and prices are competitive however, I think still a little high in prices but beats Walmart by a long shot as we have NO REASON to go there any long so thank you Meijer. Im just waiting for peace road to open up and will be filed with business instead of corn, shame but will be.

After the third aisle I couldnt get through, due to stocking, I gave up. Either stock while closed or let shoppers get through. Seriously. Now its off to Jewel where I have check the date on every single thing I pick up.

Can only give them 2 stars. Due to the following: 1. Noticed most item were higher than Walmart, so why do I have to check myself out. Only 3 registers open. All busy. 2. Wife is on a scooter. Twice she got into situations where she could not make corners or go down isles in the ladies clothes.

My favorite grocery store💛

Everything great, store clean, lots of sales, but the cashier was very rude. I had sales that were missed and she blames the machine and moved on rather than try to fix it, then got upset when I asked her to fix it, including shoving my items down the belt multiple times. It was not pleasant.

Big store. Lots to look at. We went around 7 - 830 and the pallets were blocking me from getting to the other side of the aisle. Such a wal-mart move

Both covid-19 vaccines went off without a hitch. Pharmacy staff was efficient and patient, wonderful.

New Meijer with a bit darker tones than most Meijer stores. Same sales and decent regular prices with a slightly elegant fresh food area. Employees seem friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking.

Good selection of spirits, cheeses, and deli specialties; as well as other things youd expect to find in a big box grocery store. Store is very clean too, with ample room for carts in the aisles.

Loved this store for all the years I lived in Michigan. This new one in Dekalb is just as pleasant and the bargains were delightful. Think we have our new favorite grocery

My family has shopped at this store several times since the opening and the last couple of times the store has been out of several items. My husband overheard an employee tell a customer that the reason they are out of everything on the shelves is because they don’t have anyone to bring the pallets in. Items are sitting in the back waiting to be stocked. Well you just lost a good customer, we will be shopping where the shelves are stocked.

Got fuel there. Nice place very clean. I had to go into the store for the 10 cents a gallon discount. Seams my M Perks is activated. But not working. Bummer. Very clean. Handicapped parking and building avcess6. Nice staff and friendly.

I want to give it 5 for the friendly & efficient checkout staff. Some food items you may want to find arent available & some seem to be quite expensive. However, some of that could be due to the current covid-19 pandemic but I would not blame it all on that. I personally dont like how the liquor section suddenly interrupts regular grocery aisle shopping. Im not wild about their butcher meat selection. They sell clothes but mens are much better than the womens selection. They definitely seen to have some great shoes.

This was my second trip. It is a very inviting store. Beautiful fresh produce and the fact you weigh your selection is convenient. I only wish you did not mist the ginger. When it is kept wet it looses its fresh color, gets yellow greenish. Meat and deli depts well stocked and fresh. General merchandise has nice choice selection. You impressed me by stocking Dukes mayo. Great mayo. It is an all around pleasant shopping experience.

Their frozen chicken section is always bare. Everything is always out of stock no matter which day I go shopping. Otherwise I love Meijers sales.

Really enjoyed my time shopping at this brand new location!This store opened a couple weeks ago so everything is very clean, fully stocked, and simple to navigate. I was greeted by about 5 employees at different stages of the store who were kind enough to check in to make sure I was able to find what I was looking for.I was very surprised at the beer, wine, and spirits section of the store which was very impressive to say the least. Looking forward to shipping here again in the near future!

One stop shopping for me it has everything from basic auto supplies to pet supplies to good prices on lots of food items. I also like how big and open the store is and its wide isle. Plenty of cashiers and self checkout. Plenty of parking and their own gas station right there.

Their app never works and whenever I call, once I hit the 10 minute mark I hang up. They NEVER answer their phones. Simply wanted help to set up a time to pick up my groceries, but apparently at 830pm they are so crowded and so busy those poor, exhausted people are not able to make it to the phone. Called back again still no answer. Good thing we have a variety of other stores out here. Maybe if they keep giving such poor customer service people will quit going there and they wont have to worry about having the energy to answer the phone! I couldnt wait til Meijer got here and its been nothing but one disappointment after another.

This place was lovely, truly. I waited for it to open for forever.. I am just disappointed in their pricing. Prices are TOO high !!! And a lot of the products you can find at any other store, for much less. I would have been a loyal customer, shopping only at Meijer as its closer to my home, but after a $200 first visit bill, on just food, I can not return, no one can afford it.
