I recently decided to shave the sides of my head for the first time and I had a lot of anxiety about going to a salon so I booked online with Taylor because she had cut my boyfriends hair a few months back. She was so kind and funny I had no anxiety about cutting off so much hair and she even recognized my boyfriend and complimented his new glasses. She is very skilled at alternative hairstyles, curly hair cuts, and long hair cuts. We will definitely be going back to her!

Casey did a phenomenal job with the cut I wanted. I booked a week in advance and sent over the idea I wanted (reference videos from tt) - I was told it shouldnt be an issue and advised not to pull up my hair for 48hrs prior to the appointment. Day of, I arrived about 10-15 minutes early and checked in no issues. Parking was a breeze on the street right out front the business Not an insanely busy road and easy to find the shop. The energy is super comfortable. The vibes were immaculate. It is beyond inclusive and as a queer person I felt very welcomed. The shop was superbly clean, everyone that was there even after it was just Casey, a friend and myself present, wore a mask. Once Casey began cutting my hair, it was quick and seamless. He did a rough cut, conditioned my hair and then finished off. I asked for a sweet hardpart and I got a DOPE design to go with it!! I am in love and I have never felt like more like who I truly am before now.Highly recommend, 10/10 will be back!!

Ive never been very sophisticated when it comes to male grooming. Id go to Super Cuts and come home with a cheap haircut and do the bare minimum when it came to styling and caring for my hair. Then I met Casey and I am forever changed. Casey doesnt just cut your hair and send you on your way. He takes the time to find out how you want your hair to look and feel and he teaches you what you need to know to get your hair looking its best. He also happens to sell a wide variety of high-quality grooming products -- most of which I believe are from local/regional businesses. That being said, he doesnt push his products on you. If theres a particular product he doesnt sell that would work better for you, he will recommend it. Seawolf Barbershop has changed my life!

Taylor will take care of you. Excellent cut: attention to detail on the fade which turned out exactly how I wanted, and the razor shave at the end leaves edges and sides looking very clean. It was an old school, cozy vibe that made me feel right at home; even the choice of music was relaxing. The cost was about $10 less than I usually paid at a chain barber, but I just added that to the tip to compliment the great service. Will be returning regularly.

Ive been having a hard time finding a new barber. I was very, very unhappy with the haircut prior to the one given before coming here. In fact, it was almost six months of growth to try and hide it.So I gave this place a shot. I explained that I wasnt quite sure exactly what I wanted, but I knew that I wanted the lower back area tight, I didnt want the top cut, and I mostly liked the sides, maybe just a mild clean up there. I didnt want it clipped straight up, and the last several barbers had given me that cut. It always looks awful on me.I walked out with the EXACT same cut as before, and lam so upset. It feels like the person who did my hair did not listen at all, did what they wanted. So now I get to spend another six months trying to grow THIS out.The only reason I go to barbers is for the razor neck shave. They did that, and that is the second star.Other aspects. They have a shop dog. I am afraid of dogs. A military douche came in, so Im going to assume they are good with extremely short cuts. So if you like dogs and very short cuts, maybe for you?

Made a reservation a week ago to take my wheelchair bound partner in to get his haircut. Well, after waiting 35 minutes out in the cold and rain (they can only have so many people in the shop at one time because of covid-19) the owner came outside and said they couldnt find his booking and they couldnt fit us in. They turned us away. It takes so much effort to transfer and transport and wheelchair bound person. I was truly dissatisfied and disappointed.With that said and after cooling off a bit I must add that Taylor does an incredible job cutting hair. Its totally worth the wait and I would recommend Seawolf to anyone who is looking for a quality cut. The best barber Ive had. Casey sells great hair/shaving products too and has a stylist that does amazing color/treatment as well. I always leave with a great looking cut that not only looks good the few days after but continues to grow out well the weeks following. I went to Seawolf to get my first haircut after moving to the area and I struck gold in coming to Casey. Seawolf has an awesome vibe and is located in a great area in downtown. Casey takes his time and is really patient in getting you the end result you’re looking for. Great conversation and really a great overall experience. Best haircut I’ve had in my life, hands down! My hair has always been a challenge for most pros, so I end up settling for mediocre cuts. Casey really took his time on me, making sure every hair was going to lay just right for my pompadour style and even pointed out a few mishaps from my last haircut that I was unaware of - and fixed them so the grow out would be even. I really appreciate his attention to detail and persistence. The aesthetic of the shop is really cool, vintage mixed with modern - I could spend hours just hanging out there. The selection and quality of styling products is impressive - I love that he doesn’t just carry the same stuff as all the other shops - he cares about using products that are more natural, organic, non irritating, good smelling, but not overpowering. The hot towels smell incredible - I even splurged a little and bought the Crown Shaving Co. tonic just so I could keep getting a whiff of that amazing scent! Good location, easy parking, top notch service, fair pricing... this shop is a dream! Thanks for getting me RIGHT, Casey!!

Caseys an excellent barber, went back for my 2nd cut today. I feel good, I look gay as hell, and Casey is a great listener—its hard for me to get a cut I like with my hair type, but Ive been very happy with what hes done with it both times!

Really solid place. My wife is crazy picky about my hair and even she loved the work Casey did! This is the place to go if you want a quality cut and a man who will work to get you looking the way you want. If you want a quick cut this aint the place. But Casey made it feel like he was just a friend cutting your hair. I got a long cut that took about an hour, felt like 20 mins!

The haircut I got was outstanding and by far the best Ive ever gotten. If youre on the fence because of the price difference between budget places like GreatClips dont be, it was worth every penny and more. Because the cut was so well done, doing my hair took less time in the morning and your hair just does what its supposed to long after the cut. The attention to detail and service here was outstanding.For me personally it made all the difference having a person specialized in mens hair. They gave me great recommendations for both hair and beard care, including shampoo recommendations. I had no idea saving a few dollars on product was doing so much damage to my hair and scalp. Ive already started recommending this place to all my friends and encourage you to try them. I fully expect youll become a long-term customer too.

Seawolf has a great old time sailor-esque feel. I went in for a shave for my undercut and was very pleased with how it turned out. Afterwards they provided a little free hot towel treatment that felt heavenly. Also the barbers were absolutely lovely to talk to, and their shop dog is a cutie! With all of the above and an lgbt friendly environment to boot, it was probably the best barber Ive been to.
