This is the best in Pierce county. Although I like the other ones this place has a larger variety. The prices are good to. And they offer a rewards program which I love ! Last time I saved $16.00 at checkout. Two thumbs up and a circle! Thanks guys!👍👍

Went in for an item that they didnt have on the shelf, however the price where it should be was still up. So I went and asked when they will be getting this product back. The clerk gave the impression she didnt know or was not familiar with it, and still stated they wouldnt be getting it back because they no longer make it. Went to thy B&I and found plenty of it. SMH. if you dont know, then just say that. Honesty is professionalism. There wasnt any found that day.

I buy braiding hair and supplies there, the selection is great. I gave them 5 stars because theyre the best place Ive found. Maybe the customer service isnt 100% from other reviews but in my experience, they have a rewards system, allow returns or exchanges (I cant remember which) but Ive always been helped and felt welcomed there. Great prices too!

This place is amazing! I couldnt believe how full it was and stocked with anything and everything. The ladies were very sweet and helpful. It is my new resource for hair products.

This place is horrible with how they treat their customers. I came in just for hair for marley twist. As soon as I got to the hair section a lady comes out with a cart to randomly stock supplies next to me. I asked her for help as I didnt know the price. She helped me then she left. Next security comes around with a cart pretending to stock. I continued to shop thinking maybe they are doing morning restock. I move to another aisle as there are two aisles with marley hair. The security then comes to the next aisle to pretend to pat hair. I became so upset with the treatment that I placed the packs of hair back on the shelves. I told security I had nothing and left. I wish I could give one star but this place is awful with how they treat their paying customers. Just terrible!

Prices are decent, nice staff. Convenient location

Some of the workers are extremely unprofessional. They also should tell customers what the important store policies are when someone is making a purchase. They should make sure the cashiers know what the policies are and stop being selective with how they treat certain people. Every paying customer should be treated the same. They should all be met with respect and professionalism. Ive shopped here for years however now Id rather order online because they act as though you showed up to their house and asked to borrow something.

Love this place its one of 2 places I get my lashes nd they the only ones that have my favorite pink sugar body oil. They are reasonably priced.

As a stylist I noticed that buying professional products is way overpriced. I can go to cosmoprof and buy the same product for less.

I go here for almost all my wigs and I had bought contacts from here and when I opened them one of the contacts was ripped. When I called to see if they would replace them or something they said they couldn’t do anything once the box is opened? Like how would I know if the contact was ripped until I opened them?

Im going through hair loss, so I turned to Hair Art Beauty Outlet for alternative hair options. They have an expansive selection of wigs and other hair care items. Id never been there before so I was quickly overwhelmed by the sheer volume of inventory. However, the staff was all super helpful and supportive in getting me started. I appreciated their willingness to hold my hand and answer all my questions. If you are looking for inexpensive products and a knowledgable staff, Hair Art is a great option.

I have been losing my hair for about a year and finally decided to just shave it off, although I have been very insecure about it. I just got enough money to go out and buy one. I decided on going here not knowing anything about it, they were so helpful with the questions I had. I found two wigs that I thought would look good, I haven’t tried them fully on, but I did kind of try them on. They seemed to that they were going to fit great. When trying on the wigs at first I was kind of insecure but they just made it seem normal. Overall the people ( customers and workers) were nice, respectful, and helpful. I would definitely go again and highly recommend!

This place is truly the best beauty supply store in Tacoma! The people who work there are very nice, and I enjoy the fact that they understand the importance of diversity in communities when they hire. It is also refreshing to not be followed around the store (like I used to have to deal with at B&I before I stopped supporting their beauty supply business) each time I spend my money there. Wonderful place! Wonderful people! Wonderful parking!

Well I used to come here for all the time for my hair needs. But I have found someplace else with better quality and less expensive. The store is huge, the staff are very nice. But what they offer you can get online within 1-2 days, free shipping. For example I bought a “human hair wig” $180-275 dollars. It lasted 2-3 months at best. Matted and tangled...took more than 30 minutes to wash because of the matting. Bought wig online human hair...have worn it 5 months and still looks just as good the day I bought it. Wash time is 10 minutes, never sheds, no matting or tangling.

Very unprofessional environment, they destroyed my newly purchased $100.00 lace front wig while I was still in the store. Soon after I purchased the wig the assistant cut the lace to fit my hair line and while trying to get the wig to lay properly she insisted on putting a chemical on my wig to help lay it, I told her of my concerns and she continued to ignore my concerns. I left the store with my wig to find the next morning the wig would not lay properly in my hairline, I called the store told them of this and they asked me to bring in the wig. I went back in to show them as well remind them of what they did to wig as well ask them to replace it and they wouldn’t. The embarrassment of having to request them to replace or fix the wig was enough and honestly it’s getting old how these stores constantly treat respectful customers when we spend our money in these places.

They over charged me. I bought 2 different head wraps and they charged me twice for the more expensive one. I always check my receipts but I wish I checked this one in the store.

This store is so cool! The biggest and best hair store I think Ive ever been to. They have over a thousand legs, and every time I go I see something new. Their staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable so if you need any assistance theyre always there to help. They also have a fitting room in the back where you can go and try and up to 5 weeks every time you visit. I would absolutely recommend this door to anyone looking for hair accessories, wigs, extensions, or anything for jewelry or makeup as well.

Good prices for all items. The only thing I didnt like was they lied and said the bathroom was broken because I was asking but it was really for my son. I had to beg them to let me use their broken toilet. Fyi it wasnt broken they just dont want people of color inside the restrooms. Well thats how I took it at least. Spent a decent amount of money in the store I think my son deserve to use the bathroom when nature calls

One of my favorite hair supply stores and they tend to get new shippings on wigs every so often. It could be MORE options for wigs but... You know. But besides that they pretty much have EVERYTHING you need forhair weather its for weaves, braids, or natural hair! & you can add up points and take money off your purchases!! Not every store does that!

I have been ignored in the wig section almost every time while I watch the employees quickly greet the many other people that come in after me. I have bought many half wigs here and I am proud to say I wear them all well! I love versatility in my hair, I have a thick head full of hair but love to switch it up and put on curls that would otherwise take hours and product to style... I am all about high maintenance look with low maintenance time. I hate the fact that I get blatantly ignored at this place though and have to seek help when it is all around and thrown at other customers!

This is my new spot! I used to go to the B&I for years and my business was never appreciated but it was the only place I knew for weaves, braiding hair, accessories, products, etc. After the B&I shut down. I typed in a Google search for ethnic hair care and found this gem! The people here are friendly and super helpful. Theres a HUGE variety of makeup, hair care products, accessories, weaving hair, braiding hair, crocheting hair,wigs including laces fronts and pretty much anything you can think of.

I would take a bus, train or a plane to get to this store. I dont want to go anywhere else!! They are amazing. The hair selection is amazing. Lots of options and a huge variety. Very affordable prices! I love it there. There definitely know my face lol. This store is highly recommended!!
