WARNING!!! Do not purchase at this dealership! One star is generous! Aside from all of the B.S. sales tactics I put up with in the purchase of my truck and them wanting me to drive it off the lot on an empty tank, the first day it is parked in my newly poured driveway it is leaking oil! There is no way that the dealership didnt know this leaked oil! If you want to buy from a dealership you can trust...Pass this one up and do not buy from them. This is going to be a long battle that I wouldnt wish on anyone. Lemon dealerships like this should be held accountable.
Definitely recommend Rachelle she was so helpful and kind! She got us a great price on our Tucson and worked with us the whole time and made us feel very comfortable! 10/10 would recommend her every time!!!!
I scheduled an appointment three weeks ago with the Service department for today. I arrived (after taking the day off from work and coordinating a ride from a friend) and they have no appointment scheduled for me. I tried explaining that this must have been a scheduling error on their part since I called THIS morning and spoke to someone about how long they thought the appointment might take and that the diagnostic would be $150. They made no effort to fix the situation or to reschedule. I cant speak to the work from the mechanics, but the folks scheduling and working the front office management are incompetent. Dont waste your time here.
Never in my life i have seen a dealership this stubborn. We purchased a car with 22k miles from them a month ago and recently it started going in low power mode and showing p1326 code . I contacted the corporate and they told me there is a service campaign for this issue and Hyundai will cover all the costs since it a manufacturer defect . They told me to take the car to nearest dealership as soon as possible . My dad got to the dealership and they couldn’t get the car in saying they are backed up on appointments for 2 weeks .Larson advertises the loaner car benefits but my dad begged them for a loaner car since it was unsafe to drive the car back they refused to do that also my dad had to drive this car low power on small hills which could’ve ended up very bad. we are really disappointed by this dealership and its service department since it advertises false claims so people buy their cars . I am thinking about filing a lawsuit for false advertising .
Nate and Rochelle were such a great help. I came in inquiring about upgrades for my car. And they provided me with a much better option, trading my car in for nice 2020 Hyundai Elantra instead of trying to buy or get upgrades from third parties and the maintenance that would’ve came with it. The car had all the things that I was wanting to get plus more which really came in handy. Their customer service was splendid and made sure I was taken care of.
I love them 💜 best service AND best conversations! They are also very clean and sanitize everything, even the waiting room chairs.
Very unethical behavior by the dealership my husband wasn’t provided with a rental car which they promise in their advertisement campaign. My son already posted one review long story short they let my husband drive a car that wasn’t safe to drive and didn’t give him a rental even tho the problem with car is under hyundai’s T3g service campaign and is a manufacturer defect.
Love working with Keith. His customer service is A+!! Whenever I need to take my car in I can count on open communication and no surprises.
I have had good and not so good experiences here. It is far more expensive here, but you get good service. My last visit had a issue, but Vanessa Williams did everything in her power to help me and made a very depressing situation a smidge easier. If I am ever looking for a Hyundai or end up owning another one, I will use this location again.
They went above and beyond to keep our business and they were very friendly and professional. Got a great deal on my car (first time buyer!) And Id come back again! Ask for Montana the salesman!
Rochelle was a great help to me she came through clutch with the car of my dreams. Very professional and friendly very much appreciate your help
Erik helped me get my 2022 Elantra and it was such a good experience. He was very knowledgeable, patient and he made the process a lot of fun. He even helped me out days after the fact when I had more questions. 10/10 would recommend going to see Erik at Larson Hyundai in Tacoma if youre in the market for a new car.
Unbelievable. I will never come back here. I bought my car at the Larson Hyundai dealership brand new in 2019. Right after I got the car, I noticed it was leaking water and dripping out of the sunglasses holder. When I brought my car in, they said they could not duplicate the issue, and blamed it on condensation. It happened again. I brought it in again. They changed the seal in the sunroof. The next time it rains, it leaked again. Each time, I had cup holders full of water and water all over the center console. I dont understand how they completely dismissed the issue the first time I brought it in. The first few times I brought it in for this, they gave me a loaner car, as expected, but they only wrote the paperwork for me to have it for one day at a time, and each time, they hadnt multiple days, so I had to go back to the dealership every day for them to write me new paperwork to have the loaner car longer because they still were not done with my car. That was so frustrating. When I brought my car in for an oil change earlier this year, they replaced a tire, and ever since they replaced that tire, my car had been pulling to the right. It definitely didnt do it before that. I just took my car in for the 15k mile service. I scheduled that online, and it suggested that service, and it said it was $130. I just picked up my car, and they charged me over $500 for that 15k mile service, with no heads up. I had no reason to think that the price on the website when you book an appointment is inaccurate. Also, the last couple of times Ive taken it in, they dont offer you a loaner car even though they keep the car all day, so I have to deal with them ordering me a Lyft to and from home to get my car worked on here. There are always complications with the lift drive order, so this time I had to wait close to an hour for a Lyft driver to pick me up so that I could go pick up my car, only to find out that they were charging me over three times what I expected based on the cost when I booked the appointment. Do not buy a car here. Do not have your car serviced here.
Sales person, I think it was Joe or John, made me and my friend pretty uncomfortable. He made some unnecessary comments and was quite rude when I wasnt going to buy the car at that moment. Really glad I didnt now. Do not recommend - they may have more professional dealers but if you are a woman, Id stay away.
As a first time buyer I had a pretty good experience here. Just want to give 2 big shout outs to Mike Alvarez & Daniel VanWagner. These 2 made my process of getting my first car much more comfortable than I had originally thought it was going to be. Thank you guys so much. The only downside about my experience was my car not being filled with gas & not being washed before I left the lot. But, those were very small things that did not bother me at the end of the day. If you are looking to buy a car, look for Mike or Daniel here & I am sure they would be happy to help!
I called yesterday to schedule service because my brand new vehicle is acting up. They scheduled me a week out because they are booked. The lady that scheduled me said to call her again if it got worse, or if it kept happening to see if they could get me in. It is a dangerous issue since the steering wheel and the gear shift LOCK UP. It has happened while I’m stopped, and it has happened while I’m driving. As I was told, I called to see if I could drop it off this morning and leave it to get looked at since it has happened for the last 4 days in a row, and it just happened again this morning. I don’t think it should wait for a whole week (like they scheduled me). When I spoke to Keith on the phone he said my appointment wasn’t even in the system! And that I cannot drop it off that he had to schedule me for an appointment a week from today and that everyone else in the area is booked for weeks out. I asked what if something happens to me? I am driving and the car’s most important controls LOCK UP. He said he « cant help everybody » they are booked. There wasn’t any attempt to help. Just an « it is what it is » kind of attitude while I’m driving under risky conditions putting myself and others in danger. This is terrible
Great group of guys, ask for Terryl he was a great help, super friendly and knowledgeable!!
Purchased a new car, Erik was super friendly and helpful. Buying a car is always going to take a while but Erik certainly made it much less stressful and was very reasonable. We were a bit worried about making the hour drive from Seattle to Tacoma but it was absolutely worth the travel time. We got a very fair deal on a new 2021 Kona and a more than fair deal on our trade-in. I would definitely recommend Erik to anyone looking to purchase a car.
Extremely Dis-appointment! My family owns multiple Hyundai but after this experience I dont think I can trust the brand anymore. This dealership is immensely unprofessional, just like other google review they do a lot of shady deals when it comes to pricing. I drove 2 hours in traffic to be dis-appointed. The sales team confirmed the price over phone and bumped (5 grand) it up later after I reached the dealership. I would suggest to save your time and not be fooled by their unethical deals. Avoid them at any cost.
Had keys andremote programed. On time and very quickly. Vanessa, Keith and Wayne worked together to make every thing happen flawlessly. All 5 star quallity people. I look forward to going back.
Erik and Mike were very helpful, non pressuring, and patient. I love the life time warranty that comes with every purchase (of vehicles that have under 80k miles) on engine, transmission, and drive train as I drive a lot and this is very helpful.
Tried to buy an escape from them. Contacted the dealership last night and salesman said he had the keys to it took some pictures for me. Told him I would be up tomorrow since it was a 2 hour drive from home. was in contact with salesman earlier today set up an appointment to see the car and purchase. Told him I was pre-approved and everything. Changed my plans for the evening husband got off work early so we could buy the car and possibly a car for him as well and we get there and the escape is not there. Salesman told me they sold it to their other dealership and when the price was under 17k originally when I called the dealership now he said his other dealership wont go any lower than 19k. Sorry Im not paying an extra 2000$ when I drove 2 hrs for you to tell me I have to pay more now. Husband is absolutely livid about this.
Joey Coleman was an absolute dream working with buying to buy my new car! He made it feel like I was making a deal with an old friend, taking the time to talk to me and get to know me instead of being another number. He is an asset to the company that I will gladly work with again and recommend to others! Thanks Joey!!
Service at this place is extremely expensive. They never get my car clean, when opting for the free wash and the service techs that have worked on my car seem to do half caring jobs. I wont be taking my car back for service.
I purchased a new vehicle from Larson Hyundai. It’s actually the second vehicle I have purchased from them. It’s a great dealership. No hassle. No pressure. It was easy to get financed. If you’re looking for a new vehicle ask for Erik Martinson. We emailed and texted back and forth about vehicles for a few days before I went in. He was very knowledgeable and prompt in getting back to me. He was very helpful and never made me feel pressured. He made me feel good about my purchase. He also took the time to help me pair my phone and go through the vehicle and show me all of the features before I drove off.Daniel in the financing department was great. Good attitude. Good sense of humor. Didn’t pressure us into buying a bunch of extras at financing. I’ll have to say this was my best car buying experience! Keep up the good work, Team Larson!
Good coffee, Great service!!! Ive brought my wifes car Hyundai Elantra due to Check engine and tires lights on for diagnostic, also mentioned in chat with them small but persisting car paint peeling issue lasting for 12 months. All 3 issues were previously addressed by me to different Hyundai service in Southern California almost one year ago, but they werent resolved properly, the paint peeling issue which just started that time was ignored by them. I found Larson Hyundai service performance just outstanding, especially if compare it to my previous bad experience with other Hyundai service. Here I was waiting for 3 hours in a nice waiting room with good TV and exceptionally good coffee machine. Last time Ive tried such good quality coffee only in Barcelona, they know there how to make fantastic coffee :-)) All chairs in waiting room were professionally disinfected and taped with green tapes. Wow!!! So we could easily see which chair was already used before us. Larson guys replaced two coils, added pressure to tires and both warning lights disappeared for good. They promised to repaint car in one week, all three works are on warranty without any charges. Decent, professional service, as we all expecting from Hyundai, loaner car was offered if they wont be able to fix the car right away. Now we are waiting Hyundais approval for Larsons Hyundai request for my wifes car repainting on warranty. We are traveling here to see our son and need to go back home in Norther San Diego as soon as passible. By the way, at my home town it took Hyundai guys almost one week to do something about Check Engine Light, but they declined our request for loaner car. Finally they tweaked something to turn Check Engine light off. But since their repair our car mileage was dropped to 28 mpg on highway and less than 20 mpg in city. But now after Larsons good service, two coils replacement, my wifes car mileage came back to 40 mpg/28 mpg as its suppose to be. Money saving is quite valuable for us, since my wife became disable from August 2020, she cant drive car anymore, and our house income was dropped severely. Thank you Mister Larson and your Great Team, and personally Service Adviser Jacqueline Jorgenson! You know your job well. Id recommend Larson Hyundai Service to all guys who want to get high quality repair service.
I used this business and these people are horrible with there paperwork especially JOEY COLEMAN that guys is bad at his job same with the finance dude
Just bought my first car on my own from this dealership had, Montana as my salesman, he was awesome and got me everything I wanted I will definitely be a long term customer great experience!
Took our Santa Fe in because it developed a rear hatch latch problem. Paid 140.00 for diagnostic. Then paid 200something for a new latch mechanism. Then paid another 145 dollars to have it installed. Just to find out that wasnt the problem because it still is happening.
I purchased a car today and Mr.Joey Coleman helped me and was so professional and helpful couldnt have asked for a better sales man than him I will definitely be back to see him for any future cars I may purchase from there
Jay Shin was a great salesman that tailored to our needs, and got us a great deal on. Great car
The best customer service ever, I’m there customer for 4 years now, driving 50 miles to come here, the best
Bought a Used car from here.. The car had transmission problems before me purchasing it.. deal was on contingency of it being fixed right.. now.. everything is my falt for buying a used car from there... not fixed... poor service ethics..
Buy a car in there months ago and then salesman didnt recognize me and he misled me on the car that hit me and have a safety option that it didnt have
Ripped off my elderly parents in law. Did 1000$ worth of preventative maintenance that they did not need which was explained to them as something they needed urgently. One example is the charging of 70$ just to replace a cabin air filter.
Keith is very knowledgeable and Larson Hyundai is awesome
They made my appointment without checking to see if they had the part to replace. They quoted me 75.00 for a synthetic oil change and then the total came out to over 90.00. They didnt even courtesy vacuum or wipe down the driver seat. This is slightly offputting for a dealership. I wont be returning to them in the future.
Marisa treated me great
Good customer. Service
Awesome working with Mr. Joe Coleman.
Scheduled my 2017 Sante Fe for60,000 mile recommended service after receiving email reminder to “check and inspect” listed items would cost approximately $187.00. I have NEVER had any issues with car since I purchased new. I just wanted recommended service; hence warranty expired 3-17-2020. Service advisor informed me “Recommended services would be throttle body service, fuel injection, brake fluid, transmission exchange, coolant exchange, replace belt, cabin air filter and etc. Advisor rattled on about this being the “60,000 recommended service.” I tried to explain several times as the advisor talked fast while reading from computer-monitor non-stop; the email stated “$187.00 check-inspect service.” He said “that’s nothing, all that does is check-inspect.” I informed him again that is all I need since I don’t have any concerns, but wanted it serviced.I was charged-paid $1,652.06 for what was a misleading advertisement for “60,000 mile recommended service.” It was not until I spoke to “Dr. B” who I work with as a nurse did I realized I had been taken advantage of for services that I DID NOT NEED. A “normal” service package has a set price to include services that will be performed; however I was given the a la carte suggestions; directly from the advisor’s mouth; not a flyer or prepared list of services to view. I called the service manger a few days later. I explained my concerns re feeling the fast-talking advisor manipulated me into getting services that are not the norm for a 2017 car with regular maintenance-no issues. I was told I would get a call back once he talked with advisor. Never got a callback from the manager. Advisor (NOT MANAGER) called me back today to remind me of the services I received-why he thought I needed them. He talked for “6” minutes trying to CONVINCE me I needed the $1,652.06 services. I drove to dealership-asked manager what if anything he could do to help me re-coup some of the money I paid. He replied “nothing” as he defended his service advisor. I was escorted out of store by him as I loudly enacted my freedom of speech right: DO NOT GO to LARSON HYUNDAI in LAKEWOOD. I sat in parking lot writing this review when 2 TACOMA POLICE cars arrived. They were very pleasant and listened attentively with compassion. They informed me I was not in trouble-spoke to manger re compromise-compensation to no avail; service manager declined. I departed peacefully. I will schedule my next service elsewhere, but thought I’d share my experience for others who might be vulnerable to un-necessary and misleading advertisement car services at LARSON HYUNDAI.
I won’t be back for regular maintenance, despite this being my closest Hyundai Dealer. I took my not even six month old Santa Fe in for its 7,500 first maintenance. I booked online and was quoted $61.99. When they told me the price would be $270 when I dropped it off my jaw dropped. They wanted to tack on more than $200 for a “fuel injector flush.” For a brand new vehicle. This is a service that many cars never need, or only if they are high mileage. I asked where on the manufacturers recommended maintenance this item was listed. No surprise, it’s not. I worry that others have been fleeced by such a dishonest service team, to try and inflate the needed maintenance bill by 435% is just outrageous.Regarding Larsons response: As requested, I emailed them back almost a week ago and have heard nothing. Also, its completely within their control that they are suggesting frivolous and unnecessary maintenance on a car theyve never seen and that is brand new. Run away lest they try to charge you for bogus maintenance procedures.
Not very good they didnt listen very well but Im out of car compared to today I told him I wanted to 10 payments they gave me to 5299 payments so the sales and you know Im not sure whats going on up there but its not a great place to buy a car
They now charge 3% extra for credit cards. Overpriced for normal services, but they do a good job.
Youre really (tacoma Hyundai) a bad place, where you cheat someone who doesnt speak English and take your money, now you dont buy cars.
This location is amazing, WAY better than Puyallup!! They quickly replaced a cylinder on my car (without an appointment!) and were sooo nice about it.... Compared to Korum, who made me sit at my appointment with them for 3 hours while they literally fixed NOTHING, and then were rude to me on the phone the next day when I called back to let them know the problem was still occurring (and worse). I will happily drive 30 min out of my way to use the Larson Tacoma location for any and all of my maintenance needs.
Great service
Lazy people. Naver on time. Staff are not friendly.
Exceptional service at a reasonable price and didnt do unnecessary work on my pick up !!!
My license plates had come in for a vehicle I had purchased last month. They installed them for me.
Courtesy, & a clean environment
Do not stand behind warranty. Beware claims made by salesperson when purchasing new cars. Highly recommended another dealership for your Hyundai purchasing.
