I was a flip phone carrying dinosaur until I went in to The James Center Tacoma Verizon Store with some questions. Topher was polite, patient, and really good at explaining things to me. I left with a Samsung smart phone after he pointed out I had a coupon towards one. He was able to transfer data from the old to new phone, which was very helpful. Today, I went in with yet more questions and Topher was busy. Gigi helped me and she was also patient and polite. It means a lot to seniors to be greeted and serve such great staff.

The service was very good. Topher was friendly and knowledgeable. My old phone was dying and we thought we wouldnt be able to get my settings, contacts and photos. I left it with them for an hour to see if it would charge. When I came back he had it all set up, everything transferred and ready to go. Would definitely recommend.

I was very sure I wanted to leave AT&T after being with their service for 11 years - I decided I was going to go with Verizon. I ended up in the James Center location on a whim and ended up with Topher as my service person. We talked about what I wanted to move to Verizon and what I was getting with AT&T, and he was excellent at listening, and without hard selling me, found the best deal for me and the other person on my account. I walked out feeling like I got the best deal that ever existed (which I did!) and I appreciate so much the personalized customer service that Topher extended to me during my time there. The store was very clean and every employee I observed during my time there was professionally, friendly, and knowledgeable.There is a a very strange speaker in the store that sporadically plays music at the loudest possible volume just out of the blue. It’s the weirdest thing - and is very disruptive to the flow of the employees trying to engage with their customers. The speaker needs to be fixed or relocated.Thank you Topher for helping me through my anxiousness of leaving a long time cell service to move to Verizon. I feel like I got a great deal and great service.

I called ahead to make sure the phone I wanted was in stock. The associate that answered the phone was very helpful and they had what I wanted in stock. When I arrived everyone there was wonderful and friendly. Topher helped me get my new phone all set up and was fun to work with. I was directed to this store because of excellent customer service and it was worth the extra time and miles. I received the exact service I needed (some work on the software on my S7) which resolved my issue with one visit. The manager Drew also helped me with a widget issue I should have been able to fix on my own. Manager Drew took care of my issues in a friendly, professional manner. Not even a side-eye for the widget thing. This is now my Verizon store.

This is the store my family goes to get Verizon service and devices. 4 phones and one tablet on Verizon. There is a guy named Danielle that makes me want to switch providers every time he happens to be the person manning the desk. He is very confident, but coercive. The knowledge from many of the staff members seems like they enjoy the time they spend in the store.

I had a problem converting one phone over to another because my primary phone had a dysfunction. Even though it was under warranty I still could not do this on my own. Katie at the James center store help me with everything. Horrible horrible horrible customer service one day we were trying to reach someone call the customer service couldnt get through could get questions answered it took us two days we had a room full of people laughing because we were on hold so long and they got disconnected and there were on hold another hour and 45 minutes got disconnected again they obviously dont need or want the business the people inside the shop do they have a clue what to do and then we only refer you to their online non speaking English service center. Absolutely refuse to refund my money I still have phones were paying outrageous amounts but whether over with the contracts that are outdated were done with them would not ever ever recommend going to Verizon.

Great customer service! I was immediately greeted and with just a short wait time I was assisted with the manager Katie. She was extremely knowledgable about the iPhone and very helpful on instructing me on the basic operations and made sure I was comfortable knowing how to use it. She also made sure I had a protective case, screen protector and insurance to protect my investment. With the friendly and helpful atmosphere I would definitely recommend this store to anyone needing a phone or assistance.

Great customer service from everyone in the store especially a girl named Brittany. She listened to all of my cares what I was worried about with my hands and suggested a really great phone! My hands dont hurt as much and more with the new Note 5 and I have to say I really appreciate the care and attention I got, I really felt like I was cared for and listened to and not just pushed a phone on me just because it was the latest and greatest. I live near the Southhill mall and come here. I have gone to Verizon in Southhill Mall twice and will not go there again. I will drive the extra miles to come to this Verizon store. The staff were friendly and informative, my only gripe was they didnt have replacement stylist for sale which in turn lead me to purchase one online. PS if you are experiencing the same issue almost all ship from China which youll either end up paying alot for shipping or have to wait an extremely long time to arrive.

I bought a core plus prime phone in December. Broke first phone in first week. It was replaced immediately. Thank you. Replacement phone started showing unfortunateley contacts has stopped message when I tried to make a call out. Took it back to store. They couldnt fix it. They replaced it. New phone same problem. Went back. They couldnt fix it again. They would not replace it. Couldnt fix it. Said sorry. Nothing we can do. Phone still doesnt work. Verizon knows its a defective phone. Wont replace it. This store sold a patently defective phone and still is. I would never do business with this store again. I will never do business with this company again. The store knew this was a design defect and sold it anyway. They do not back up their products. I do have to say, their manager tried. But that doesnt fix my phone. If possible, I would rate them negatively. This is all supported by the numerous requests on line about numerous people asking about this same problem. Lying thieves.
They will tell you that they cant ship your iPhone to you, and that you have to come back to their store to get it. This is B.S. Then they never called me to tell my phone was in! Days past the promised day, and nothing. They NEVER answer their phone, so their voicemail fills up and no new messages can be left. Now I have to order my phone through Verizon directly and wait all over again. Eliminate the middle-man! Deal with Verizon directly.

Working here, I was told to convince elderly customers that their phones were broken and they needed to purchase new ones rather than attempt to trouble shoot or help through a replacement process. Sometimes the problems were so small that it consisted of the volume needing to be turned on. Dru presents a very pleasant image, but all he cares about is pushing sales and directing questions to customer service. I constantly needed to help customers who came back because non of their equipment was set up or even taken out of the box and I was told to lie to customers, which I refused to do. I made a harassment complaint against our district manager Josh and was immediately fired.Go Wireless can be an excellent place to go, depending on the store. I live in Spanaway and made the drive to the Port Orchard where I had previously worked before moving when I upgraded my own device and attached more lines because I knew the store manager Chris is someone I can trust because he is completely honest and keeps his word.I don’t recommend wasting your time at this location, because you will be told whatever you have to be told in order for you to put your card down on the counter and walk away.

We had a bricked phone, forced to factory reset with Google restore keeping us from continuing with the password forgotten. They got us around the problem in minutes when no advice on the Internet could. Could not be happier with this place.

The shop always seems to be understaffed and Ive never encountered an employee who is knowledgable about the products being offered across the 4 years I have come in to this shop. The last time I came in to upgrade my phone was the last time I will be visiting this location. There is a subtle, but lingering smell of body odor that had been much more pungent 6 months earlier. I waited over an hour to talk with an employee about upgrading my device and estimating the cost of adding an additional line to my account. I was able to get better information in 5 minutes from the Verizon app. The employee who finally worked with me had no idea what any of the specs were for the flagship Samsung products, nor did the employee have any idea how to sell a phone. When I asked to get a price estimate for changing aspects of my account, the process took over 15 minutes and I still did not get a complete answer. When I asked what the monthly price would be for an S9, I was given an incorrect quote that was more than 10 dollars a month higher than the actual cost and was, I suspect, the monthly price for the new iPhone. Having sold phones for nearly 4 years at RadioShack, I was amazed that a Verizon employee was unable to answer such basic questions without spending extending periods of time on a computer. The store had very limited working display models and very limited printed information about the various devices. There were no visible printed materials with phone plan pricings. I left without a new phone or upgraded plan and instead went to Best Buy where I received much better help from a knowledgable employee, a steep discount on a new phone, and a free wireless charger to go with discounted accessories.
I have had the very best customer service today at the 19th st. Verizon store. Brittany has been extreemly professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. She got my new device the I pad air pad tablet all set up for me.
