Wow. This place is so good. They make healthy food super tasty and pretty clearly mark the allergens. So a gluten free person would feel pretty comfortable ordering here. I would travel 40 minutes just to have breakfast here again. And their decor is so cute. They really pay attention to detail. Even the door hinges match the door handles and other metal fixtures.

We went here for the first time today and were very pleased! The coffee is fantastic and our food was amazing! I went with the SOS and my wife got the hash! The sos was served with a thick slice of bread and I believe it was a mushroom gravy. Needless to say I was very pleased. It has such a great and unique flavor relative to the standard SOS. My wife really enjoyed her dish. It was spicy and had great flavor she said. The vibe in this place is very unique. It has a very fresh feel and there is a ton of natural wood. Great light and some wonderful decorations. Check this place out!

Best breakfast spot in Tacoma! The have a seasonal menu and it is delicious everytime. I have been there many times and have been happy everytime. It can get busy at times, but that is because it is soooo good. Also, if it is your first time, it is counter service so you order at the counter and then they being the food to you. Delicious! It was the best of meals, it was the worst of meals... Well, not really, but I’ve ordered things that were amazing and others that I did not like at all. Still, it gets 4 stars because it’s more hit than miss, the coffee drinks/teas are consistently good, it’s got a nice space and it’s your best mid-week brunch option in Tacoma. The goodThis place nails a Dutch baby and that’s not an easy task. The lemon curd/raspberry jam topping is note-perfect and beautiful to boot. Egg dishes are solid and the potato toast and hash browns are way better than they need to be. Coffee and tea drinks are awesome (I heartily recommend both the iced rooibos and pistachio latte with oat milk). The badUnfortunately, pretty much everything vegan. The veggie sausage looked like an oatmeal cookie and tasted like a dog biscuit (or, what I assume one tastes like). A ton of people ordered the vegan burrito and raved about it but it did nothing for me so, granted, maybe I’m wrong. Tofu scramble was so bland it reminded me of vegan restaurants in the ‘90s (not a compliment). The uglyNothing! The open, airy space is beautiful and I love all the greenery.Overall, worth checking out.

Unique breakfast foods. I had the S.O.S and my husband had the Carpenters Breakfast (which featured a beef heart steak). Beautifully seasoned and cooked foods that arent typically featured on your typical breakfast menu. They serve select beers and awesome coffee type drinks. Casual dining - order then seat yourself in a trendy/modern styled space. This will definitely be added to our Breakfast circuit!

Really beautiful hipster-chic aesthetic. Fun light fixtures, lots of natural materials, concrete, graphic novels, glass, plants and trendy art. You know, that type of hey this what people are talking about when they say gentrification, type of vibe. Though, its quite stunning and a pleasant chill atmosphere. The food is top notch. I had the corned beef hash with a fried duck egg and damn, that was a delight. Surprisingly good prices for such quality. It was a tad bit more expensive than Id spend on average for lunch, but I couldnt help myself because it sounded so good and I wasnt disappointed. There were plenty of more reasonably priced food items though and the coffee is great, and bottomless for $3.50, which is pretty rad.The maximum occupancy says 88 which seems crazy because it feels like there isnt much room for more than 30ish at a time. In other words, not a tremendous amount of seating. If I lived in this neighborhood no doubt I would be here very frequently.

I asked for recommendations on social media for good places to study, as well as maybe get coffee and/or food in Tacoma. This is one of the places that was highly recommended, and I can see why during my first visit. One thing thats important to me is to have lots of electrical outlets for my laptop. They have plenty to go around. The menu is not massive, but thats ok because the food is great. The only thing I could see as a possible downside is the indoor seating is not large, and the place is very popular, so arrive early if you can (there is outdoor seating for when the weather is nice). But overall I highly recommend this place. Its worth spending your money there.

This is a fun place to go with a small group and chat over coffee. I would recommend going on a nice day so you can sit outside. Its community seating and its hard to get a place to sit, so it isnt ideal for large groups. Their menu is very unique and definitely vegan friendly, but they do have a few things for non vegans. The coffee and snack items are really good. Its a bit pricey for the vibe and you have to bus your own table. Id go to meet a friend for coffee, but not to have a family brunch.

I had breakfast here, the cheesy eggs and bacon, it was good. Nothing was spectacular or stood out, everything was good. I had an americano as well and it was also good. It seemed like they used cups and lids made of recycled material which is nice, but it doesnt insulate the heat very well. My coffee was almost too hot to hold. Better too hot than too cold though! Their location is alright, walking distance from downtown. I cant say too much about the staff, the person taking my order was nice but didnt go above and beyond. Good service, but not something to remember.

Ive been here for pre-concert coffee and for brunch. The brunch gets busy and the seating is find it yourself, so finding a seat inside can be a pain if youre not there before ten. I had the stout braised beef hash, which was delicious, but in my dream world the potatoes would have been chopped smaller. My wife liked the vegan breakfast sandwich, which has fried tofu instead of fried egg.

Nice atmosphere, cool modern vibe, but order took 55 min, so be prepared to wait. I ordered the veggie sausage scramble. Sausage was extremely dry and partially burnt, like it had been waiting under heat lamp for a half hour. It came with about a quarter potato worth of home fries, very small portion. My guest ordered veg scramble without cheese. It was delivered ten minutes after mine and came with cheese. Set and bus own table, serve own water, didn’t realize that before paying 20% tip up front at counter.

Pros: Very nice spot, with cool artwork, varied seating options with couches and inside tables, outside tables, good coffee.Cons: very expensive food for very small portions. I spent a lot of money and was still hungry after. Also, I order the vegetarian huevos rancheros with regular chicken eggs, and got the vegan one with tofu egg instead. I told one of the workers who said sorry and walked away. For such an expensive fancy place I would expect to get offered the correct dish, or at least a cookie or something as a way to make up for their mistake.
