A small Coffee Shop located at the lobby next to the Post Office and a restaurant in a historic building in Downtown Tacoma.It has lots of space to spread out, you will never feel cramped here. It has free Wifi and fresh cut, real flowers in vases, which is a rarity in Coffee shops.Lift Bridge Coffee has some.really delicious and unique flavored specialty Coffee and Tea drinks, with specialty Syrup made from scratch, in house. Such as Honey-Lavender, Orange Anise, Mint-Pink-Peppercorn... Some of them are seasonal, so try them while they are still in the Menu. My recent favorite, for the 2019-2020 Winter Season, is the Orange Mocha (Latte).Their current Manager (2018 - Feb 2020) is quite creative, besides doing all the Floral Arrangements for the shop, she comes up with these House-made specialty Syrups for specialty Coffee Drinks that are really delicious.Their drip/brewed Coffee is fantastic. It is smooth, velvety, creamy, probably one of the best in the country. Reminds me of some of the great Coffees that I have had over the years, roasted by some reputable boutique Italian brands.Pastries at Lift Bridge Coffee are supplied locally by a business called Spilled Butter Dessert. If they are not already sold out, try one. They are simply divine! Lift Bridge Coffee also has real Ceramic dishware and Silverware, which is a nice touch and more eco-friendly.Staff at Lift Bridge Coffee are very friendly, and service is prompt and efficient. They also have a frequent customer program with rewards. Check with the store for details.Overall it is a good place to unwind, relax and spend time, while also taking advantage of the Post Office next window down and the restaurant down the hallway. Metered street parking spots available relatively easy within the block. From the sidewalk at the Northeast corner of the building, you can see Mount Rainier on clear days. Great coffee, it’s inside the post office so not the best environment. And as you’d expect they take their time. But worth the wait.

In the past, this was my favorite coffee place in Tacoma, but the quality has seemed to slip during the pandemic. Its still worth a visit though, just for the cool building and, once the pandemic is over, its a cool place to hang out. And you can go to the post office at the same time!

I fell in to love with this amazing cafe on a business trip to Tacoma. This places more then earns five stars because of incredible coffee (I had a pour over which was amazing), great staff who took time to ask how my day was, and one of the best historical locations I have seen for a cafe.When in downtown Tacoma, visit and enjoy a visit at Lift Bridge Coffee.

I thoroughly enjoyed not only my beverage, but the intentional interaction with the Manager. As someone from out of town, I still felt welcomed even with the limitations brought with COVID. I definitely plan on returning again during my trip.

One of my absolute favorite coffee shops with friendly and knowledgeable baristas. I’ve never had to tell any of them how to make a proper macchiato or cortado. And if you’re craving something fancier, they always have unique and tasty coffee drinks to try on their menu board.It’s worth the meter cost!

Amazing small little gourmet grilled cheese and soup shop. They also offer beer and assorted other drinks. I got the good doctor grilled cheese which was incredible. Had gooey cheddar cheese and bacon jalapeños and cream cheese. A tad expensive for a grilled cheese, but very good and great for a quick lunch

Ive been to many coffee shops across the US and find this place to be an absolute gem amidst the plethora of caffeine retailers. Class, thought, and creativity are reflected in every detail of atmosphere, menu, and customer service. Extremely pleasant staff. Phenomenal menu. Truly impressed and delighted.

Their coffee is full-bodied without much bitterness (only surpassed by Blue Mountain in Winthrop, WA). Not terribly pricey. Wonderful original coffee concoctions - try the golden milk latte!

Very friendly staff, knowledgeable and creative! My coworkers and I were delighted by their unique seasonal beverages (brown butter latte yes please) crafted with quality ingredients. They share space with the post office and some other shops which makes for a different kind of coffee shop vibe. Smaller menu (I count that as a good thing) with rotating coffee offerings. If I lived in Tacoma Id be here every day.

Great crafted drinks. More than just coffee. I had mulled pear cider today, made onsite. It was fantastic! Also have kombucha, various cold drinks, in addition to great crafted espresso drinks. The setting is very cool. Historic post office lobby outfitted with chic seating, fun retro music and beautiful natural light. Staff is excellent and friendly.

God, this place has the best lattes in Tacoma. So simple, smooth, and creamy. Also have delicious specialty drinks, if youre looking for something different. They also have insanely delicious pastries. I just wish they were open on the weekends.

This is a great new coffee shop in downtown Tacoma! The customer service is awesome, everyone is incredibly friendly. The coffee they serve ( Kuma coffee) is so delicious and I love that if you sit it and have your coffee there they give you sparkling water which is so refreshing. Also try some of their homemade syrups, the lavender is a must! Great addition to Tacoma, dont miss this spot!

Cool use of an otherwise useless space. Specialty coffee shop rotates some of the best roasters the industry has to offer. Limited seating? Yes, it’s in a government building next to the post office! Bomb espresso and service.

They make my absolute favorite oat-milk latte. But their hours say theyre open on Saturdays, I drove from Lakewood to visit and they were closed.

Only slightly hidden in the main post office building. Comfortable seating, proper espresso from Kuma Coffee beans served with a side of seltzer. Tasty hot chocolate.

I love coffee and this place has GREAT coffee. Ive only been once so far, but my first time will not be my last! I ordered the Madama Blanc and holy moly was that amazing! The coffee was rich and smooth, just enough sweetness and the foam was perfect. I couldnt have asked for a better cup! The service is great too--answered my questions, gave some great recommendations and just overall nice conversation while I wanted for my beverage. Oh, and if youre vegan--their coffees, like the Madame Blanc is made with almond milk and they offer vegan breakfast burritos too! Cant wait to try more from their menu!

What a dump! Bums are camping there all the time. Restrooms are locked, so you cant even wash your hands. It stinks there. Stay away!
