Good place to get your bulk items! Had to do some searching around different Costcos to find what I needed. This was the only fully stocked around! Thank you Tacoma Costco!

I love shopping at Costco, and I make my goal to also visit one every time I’m out of state or staying in a new location. It’s crazy how superb and consistent their quality service is.This Costco, like all others, contain all the bulk items I was specifically looking for (trail mixes). Their prices are excellent and they had good deals as well. The food court is a must after shopping, and if you need gas, their gasoline almost always have the lowest prices.Get their membership, it’s worth it.

This one opens early Tuesday & Thursday for seniors. We really appreciate getting in and out with out the larger crowds. Sometimes we need more time to read labels, look around, etc. and we move more slowly. Thank you Costco for giving us this extra hour.

The MASK is only enforced at the entrance when you show your Costco card but right after you cross the entrance you can take off your mask and shop around the entire time inside the store, without a mask. The black manager say they wont enforce it. When you make a complaint they dont take it seriously and want you to shut up and be on your way out of there. They dont want people to hear the conversion about wearing mask. The black manager keeps telling me to lower my voice when thats the normal tone of my voice. Too many Costco employees standing still in front of cashiers doing nothing acting like they are doing something. I will not be coming back here. AVOID unless you want COVID.

Costco is always the best price to buy JUCE!!! My families favorite superfood!!! If you haven’t tried it yet, it is vegan plant based and tastes so good.

Busy, great deals, excellent checkers, but staff on the floor need to get noses out of cell phones while pushing work-carts, and selves through busy close quarters. Elders dont know nor hear whats coming behind them and going slow means not falling. It sucks when its staff rushing past older patrons. I had to holler at a man buried in his phone, pushing cleaning cart, because he nearly hit my 75 yo mother. 😑

Everyone loves Costco. Always love to call and make sure they got what I’m looking for since puyallup has a couple different options then Tacoma and vice Versa.

Had to wait for fresh Seasoned Rotisserie Chicken but worth it!So nice an love the juice an tenderness it has.

I did not know they opened at 10. I was pleasantly surprised to get there as the doors open. Everyone who was there was fairly efficient. Get your items and move...it saved a lot of time.

Very impressed with the way the staff handled our membership application. Droves of customers were showing up at closing with the staff calmly and politely handling, in the most efficient way. The demands put on them.

Recently went through the Tacoma Costco to purchase a new phone and had a great experience with Brandon! He was very knowledgeable about all the products and we chatted in detail about fairly techy topics - user interface, battery health, processing power! Overall good experience with the exception of the whole ordeal takes around an hour or more. It makes no sense to walk all the way to the register and then have to come back to have your phone activated! It wouldn’t have been too bad but Costco absolutely needs to staff more people at the cell phone kiosk.. way to go Brandon!! Keep up the good work. Love everything else about this Costco!

Hadnt been to this Costco location before, but my wife and I were down picking up my wheelchair near by and figured wed stop in real quick just for a couple things... $300 and a couple hours later we managed to get away lol. While the store seemed very busy, all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful and even the ones we didnt directly talk to seemed to be in good spirits. Things were clean and fairly easy up traverse. Going to Costco is always an adventure, you never know what youll find, but I really appreciate how they are consistently friendly and helpful regardless which location you visit.

I love Costco. Going there is the highlight of my week. The staff st this one are really nice. There have been other stores that werent as personable.

This Costcos a little bit different than the other ones, they have more handicapped scooters which is 🙂. Their entryway is set up nice for pickup and drop off you know handicapped people or big loads of product. One problem is a little crowded by the freezer door or the cooler doors for like the dairy and fresh produce, other than that its pretty nice Costco.

Its very busy here, but good quality.

What can I say about costco...I love it because they treat employees well. But, I really really hate how crowded it is. Buying certain items in bulk certainly is good for the wallet. I highly recommend getting everything you need when you go so you are good for a couple weeks.

It was my first time at this location and I came in for a return. As it was my first time returning something, I didnt know that I had to use a different entrance and ended up going through the normal entrance. I was trying to make my way through the returns desk, and had to go through the check out lanes, when I was so rudely confronted by the cashier, Gable, like I was some kind of thief. While I understand that Gable was just trying to do his job, he could have done so in a way that wasnt condescending. Ive honestly never felt so disrespected at a store before. I wonder if his reaction would have been different if I wasnt Asian...I ended up just leaving after doing my return, and taking my business somewhere else.

Ample parking with three entrances. Always plenty of checkers, so that even when busy checking out is quick. Self-check is available for those quick in and outs. Restrooms for members.

I was driving around at 10 am today, and there was a problem with the passenger side rear tire. So at 10:10 am, I went to the nearest Costco Tire Center. The Costco crew said that since I didnt make a reservation beforehand, I would have to wait a maximum of 3 hours. But after it became 2:20 pm, I still havent recieved a call to say that they fixed the flat tire.How am I supposed to know today when my car is going to have problems tomorrow and call? Oh, what am I supposed to do, call and say Oh since my car is going to have a flat tire tomorrow so I am going to come with the flat tire after making a reservation. Its a funny.

This Costco is usually pretty busy, especially on Friday but, the gas ⛽ prices are excellent.🇺🇸😷👈

While it was busy in some areas of the store, our checkout went very quickly due to extra check-out areas being open.

Always great to shop at Costco. Buy certain things in bulk is saving money down the road!

While I continue to enjoy the wide variety of goods, there are some downsides. My produce goes bad so quickly (2-3 days) I dont get it there any more. Always crowded regardless of day/time and people dont respect the parking lot arrows which makes it unsafe and stressful.

Big & roomy had every thing you need from bathroom rugs, smoke detector,pillows with cool gel. Pharmacy to pick up meds.

Everything is great. Just the cashier was in a bad mood. Definitely not our fault. More training how to be nice since your job is to help costumers.

TO BE FAIR!!! It is busy almost from open to close. But it is worth it. All the staff are happy pleasant and excited to be employed at Costco.

I know weekends are always hectic at Costco, but my goodness. This location was the busiest and most chaotic Ive ever been to. They didnt have stock of two of the three items I went to buy, and there are so many oblivious people shopping. At the entrance, there wasnt a sanitation station like the FW one, nor did they have examples of the apparel. Not a big deal, but it did stick out to me. I remember going to this location well before the pandemic and having a very similar experience.

Costco in Tacoma has reached saturation. Obviously built when population and traffic were lower and without vision of the future needs. Costco needs to be searching for a replacement site with more space for serving the public. The present location is unable to expand and a business that is not growing is a business that is failing.

This place is awesome. We shop here at least twice a month. They have great sales on food, clothing, and plants. As well the store has a better selection of alcohol than most other stores. Im not one for big crowds so we tend to go early so we avoid the influx of people coming to shop.

Would let me pay with my debit/credit card without a Costco card or a Supervisors okay. Stated it was a company policy.. The other Costco allowed it. Wuddy was an excellent cashier.

Shopping at Costco in Tacoma is more stressful and time consuming than it used to be a couple of years ago. You will spend about 15 mins to find available parking spot. After you find all products you need in the store, you will have to spend additional 20 mins in the line to the cashier stand. Costco finally organized self-checkout, but half of it is always closed, so there is no difference between self-checkout and cashier stand lines. Plus you have to wait your turn to be checked for what you have in your shopping cart, which make take additional 5-10 mins. And as a bonus, you will waste 20 more mins to leave this messy place. So instead of enjoying your shopping time, youll get of this store, like of airport - tired and exhausted.

I would give it one star, but Im feeling generous. This is the worst Costco Ive ever been to. Im sure there is another location that is even worse and I hope to never encounter it. Along with the poor attitudes, it has a small gas station, and most of the parking lot is on a slope so youre in danger of getting your car struck by a cart.

I love Costco. I always find what I need (or want) and more! Although, I do spend too much every time, but it’s worth it, especially if you have a big family or if you just want to stock up on supplies.

Great quality of food and products has great prices on clothing too . But customer service needs improvement especially the cashiers . Brandon R. Gave me and my family attitude and also when he was cashing us out he was throwing my bananas 🍌 and apples 🍎 hard i told not to throw my fruits like that this wasn’t the only time it happen ! It also happen again if u don’t like ur work please don’t take it out on the customers 🤷🏻‍♀️

Who doesnt love Costco. Great place for bulk items and varieties of item to choose from. It can get expensive but nice to browse & youll realize the cost when you check out. Great deli with convenience of kiosk ordering. It can get crazy but what place isnt. Great fruits & veggies items as well as prep food & rotisserie chicken.

Its a great place to shop.the staff there was a big help.

Costco is a great place to save money on bulk items but let’s not forget how wonderful their Optical department is! They worked with me on exchanging my monthly contact lenses for daily contact lenses due to a condition I was diagnosed with. They were very helpful and I appreciate it!

Whats not to love about Costco? Theyre clean fast checkout. Saves out family so much in the long run.

It was reported that the location manager was not going to require customers and staff to adhere to Covid protocols. That was evident based on the number of maskless individuals in the warehouse. Sent an email asking for clarification then a phone call. No response yet. My first ever complaint after shopping at that warehouse for over 20 years.

Really liked this Costco. Very nice inside and very well laid out. Plus, the staff was exceptional.

Its costco so its great.. but avoid this one. Always so busy and literally crazy. Worth an extra 20 minutes to hit up a different location, I recommend the Lacey location.

I love costco. Best store for familys. They always have what we need. You can literally return anything that youve bought from Costco without a receipt and it does not matter how long ago the purchase was made. It could be 5 years ago. Best believe they will give you your full money back with no questions asked. Electronics are the only things with a 90 day return policy.I totally recommend anyone to get a membership for costco! Well worth it trust me! Executive membership is great for people that shop there a lot. You will earn money back at the end of the year and it pays for its membership.

First, I love Costco. As a foodie, love to getting meat from Tacoma Costco. That was freshly cut from today and it didn’t taste like fresh meat. I guess, what’s happening here in Wa. I understand that we had the 4th, most hottest day. I assumed not to be the Best but it wasn’t that good either. It tasted like old meat has been in the refrigerator for a long time and then prepared by today. Well, that doesn’t make freshly cut and taste great. If Costco can’t do it. I don’t know what you can get that great quality of Pork Belly. It’s time to work on the system because it’s not been great for a few years.Thanks!

Store employees are rude and act youre bothering them when you ask a question. Parking is horrible you do better going to Walmart and yhsts not saying much either.

It was nice seeing 99% of the people wearing masks, however we did encounter a family of Death Cultists! Masks Should be required to shop! I mean they require a membership.

Just busy. Always good food. Could have a little more variety on drinks. The hot food has always been good since I was a child. So its a good memory. But yeah...everythings fine. Everytime I go to the Costco in fife. We feel they are rude because they follow us as if well steal or they rush us out the door when there is still 20 minutes till checkout. This place always tries to be quick and helps a LOT.

Parking and driving into lot is often hectic. Always packed! The clerk that was placing my items into the cart was very professional and friendly, but the cashier was dry, unresponsive, not friendly, nor professional. While shopping, I had passed by many workers and none of them spoke, acknowledged or even asked if I needed assistance looking for an item, nothing! Plus I didnt even get to purchase all of the items that I wanted to get due to the lack of customer service and merchandise availability. This Costco is always out of stock on items.

Its 👌 nice and friendly staff had to wait 1/2 hour on an electric cart for my mom but other than that pretty good

Its whole sale food. Some really good deals, some marginal. Buying here really benefits large families and businesses the most. But, you can buy electronics and clothes as well. So something for every family. However, be prepared to spend a considerable amount of money here if youre buying food. On the bright side, you dont have to shop here often. Lines are usually big and the parking lot can get crazy with people vying for spots. Keep in mind, you need a membership to shop here.Service - 3Price - 4Variety - 3If you want more mainstream good products, youre best bet is probably Winco.

Its Costco, whats not a 5/5? I just recently used the pharmacy, they were out of my medication and called around to different, competitor, pharmacies to find which one had it in stock. Great first experience.

Staff is always helpful & courteous. Store is clean; even when staff is restocking. Even when lines are long, Ive never felt the registers were understaffed.

Customer service is great.My first time in here in years and I felt so welcome here.

Very clean, air conditioned facility. Kiosk in food court, super convenient, 😌 good pizza and of course the chicken bake is my fav🥰

Always a good experience at Costco. The deli deals cant be beat. One thing I dont like is produce quality, in particular how it lasts. From boxed lettuce greens to avocado to bananas they dont seem to ripen right and go bad faster than almost any other store and I find it overpriced. Other than that I love Costco and you can find good deals on any item from gloves to kayaks. Been impressed with how they handled Covid as well although of course the samples are missed!

Busy, but it depends on the time of day you visit. Easy to find things and people are willing to help of you cannot find what you are looking for. If you bring your own bags, they are not able to pack them for you yet.

I have been shopping here for years and never had a problem until today when I was checking out and the Manager repeatedly told me I could not use a screen shot of a cash rewards I had and made me get an original off of my email with 2 kids and pregnant had to wait almost 30 minutes and feel like a criminal then she passed me over to someone else because she was tired. On the website it says we can use it on the app or take a screen shot so maybe she shouldn’t be the manager and the workers are right to redeem it for the customers. I have always redeemed and never had a problem not just because she is manager she gets to say what she wants. I will be taking this to her regional boss. I ended up getting my stuff but it is not the point that I had to do all that and then she lied and said that it wouldn’t scan because it is a screen shot when it scanned before and a screen shot is a picture. Very disappointed.

Great place to shop.The exit check out as one leaves the store needs to be fixedThey spend too much time gabbing with people and drawing pictures for the kids.Im now going to Gig Harbor Costco.People are much more pleasant and no conversation as you exit!No standing in front of your cart when trying to leave. Just a smile and Thank you.I pay the toll and the longer drive to go to Gig Harbor rather than deal with those at the Tacoma Costco.But sometimes you have to get something quick.

Typical COSTCO great selection of items, real bulk buys, hard on singles or couples because of the bulk packaging. May find it hard to store everything.

So I went to buy engine oil for my car...My sister found the same oil for $15 cheaper at Walmart....

Costco is Costco. A bilk store selling bulk, at a reasonable price, but it can be a bit pricey though. They sell in bulk, or things that most stores dont carry. Costco is all in all a great store. Then why four stars, the check out lines are horrible. The lines are like Friday night traffic on any freeway. Terrible.

First off I love Costco! Ive been a member for a long time, I can easily make up my membership dues in a month. I like the quality of of the products, awesome costumer service, and of course the food samples! This is my local Costco, so Im very familiar with it, and honestly Ive never had a negative experience there. The only negatives about Costco in general, any Costco is that often times you will get used to buying a specific product, then one day you go in, and that product is gone for good, that always sucks, that and the parking; there is a Lord of the Flies aspect to parking at Costco, any Costco, get ready for plenty of gamesmanship. That aside, I consider Costco one of the best retail experiences.

This costco has a wider variety of items than the costco in Covington has. It is navigated in a similar setup with a slight change to a few locations. Still average occupancy depending on your timing.

Today was our first time here & it was easy to move around. Great service, lines moved quickly and a very happy member right here.Oh yeah.. almost forgot. I couldn’t get my card today because the machine was down but that’s all. The employee informed that it will be back up tomorrow!!
