Went in here for only one bottle of whipping cream. Found and wondered how it took me this long to visit.The store is clean looks like they have a lot organic products. And then I realized the cashier lines were going down the isles. I asked two of employees if they could check me out. They said no I need to ask a costumer to cut the line. Then I said can I please check out the whipping cream bottle at the costumer service they said no “We don’t have a costumer service”.No self checkout. No 20 items or less either.Bottom line is, if you need to do a quick stop for a quick errand and something missing from your recipe, Aldi is not the place.The employees couldn’t care less if I need help.Great prices awful costumer service. Terrible service. Checkout lines are crazy.

This place is amazing fats and it haces a rutina

I will start with the positive side: prices are extremely low, as with all of Aldis stores.Negative side: low pricing is based on a minimum staffing model, which was taken to the extreme when I visited New Hampshire Ave Aldis a couple of Sundays ago. Huge lines at each of two open registers, going nearly halfway down the facing aisles making it difficult to navigate for those seeking items there. No idea why Aldis doesnt use self-checkout like other supermarket chains do to save money and time. No other employees present anywhere in the store besides the two cashiers.Even more negative: having just come from a restaurant lunch and seeing the huge lines meaning lots of time before I could leave the store, I headed to the restroom for a fairly urgent number two. After finishing my business I found the T.P. roll was finished, with no spare on hand. I looked up the stores phone number and tried calling to get some help, but of course nobody was on hand to answer. I was forced to extract and re-use old tissues from the waste-bin, which fortunately hadnt been emptied in a while. Completely disgusting, unsanitary experience.When I finished shopping and reached the register I informed the cashier. Her response was to tell me it was my fault for not checking before I sat down. The lack of TP was obviously not the cashiers fault since she was already way overloaded ringing up peoples grocery purchases, but an apology would have been better than blaming the customer.Well before posting this review I posted this same feedback on Aldis internal system. I got a very quick message saying that the Regional Manager had been informed and would be looking into it. After that I waited more than a week and never heard anything. The Regional Manager is probably the same idiot who thinks its OK to staff a full supermarket with only two employees, meaning nobody is available to check or restock the restrooms.In the future I will shop at facilities that may charge a bit more but offer basic hygiene standards, in line with public health regulations. County Health Inspectors should take a look, I may report this to them as well.

Some items are great values. My dog loves their chicken sausage, which is actually people food. Their cheese and meat selection is first rate at a bargain price.

Ofcourse, most cheapest place for groceries and stuff. My favorites are milk, low fat yogurt, chicken thigh and baby spinach. Got a lot of parking. Still has queue system because of the pandemic. I think it always has little more customers than the cashiers can take care of. So dont expect a peaceful shopping like any other spacious stores but hey what matters more is availability of groceries that you need and money right ?

The store is pretty well stocked. The person at the entrance, Jeralisa, was very friendly and kind to everyone that entered the store and made sure that order kept and informed everyone of the rules clearly. She even kept her cool when being hassled about the line.

I always love the prices Aldi has. One of the things i like is that even when the lines are so long, they go by super quick.

Its great! You could find a variety of different products. From frozen food or desserts, meats like bacon or anything else. Also chicken and more! I recommend coming here.

ALDI is a very good food store compared to other food stores. . The regular price of ALDI food is cheaper than the other food stores. ALDI sales price makes it much easier to strengthen the utility of your dollars purchased. The store is clean and customer friendly. I recommend people who want to save money to shop at the store.

Great deal for fruits and produce.

It isnt a big store but they have a unique approach to keeping cost down. They dont have normal isles with lots of shelves, and sometimes the products are stored right in the boxes. I go there for my organic salad greens, they have the best price hands down. They also have an isle with home products like sheets and blankets, stools and clothes hanging rack. Always different things each time I go in.

This was my first time shopping at this location and let me tell you; horrible experience ever! The workers on the floor have no manners what so ever and just stares you down like your crazy. The store is a mess, and the cashiers are really rude. One girl caught an attitude with me because I asked for bags. Like really? Do yourself a favor and don’t shop here. Will not be returning.

Most of the cashiers were being rude and complaining about shoppers during this quarantine. I understand it gets full and frustrating as an essential worker myself, but you do not express that in front of customers. Hire nicer cashiers !

You should always check your receipts before leaving this Aldi. Their cashiers are super fast and sometimes double scan. This has happened to me like 10 times I kid not. Other than that, this store is wonderful and the staff members are friendly and responsive. I love the prices at Aldi!

Its the greatest and cheapest place Ive ever been. I bought so many things and i was frightened at the idea of ​​going over my budget for the week but surprisingly, I had not even exceeded 100 dollars. The cashier who served me was really friendly and fast. Highly recommend it.

I recently began shopping at Aldis...and wow, I feel like Ive been missing out. Selection is limited, but there you will find most essentials at a fair and reasonable price! They carry brands I am unfamiliar with, but for the most part the taste of their products is similar to the brands we all know and love.I will add, though, that it can be a hit or miss here. And, that not all stores are a pleasure to shop. Another location I visited was gross. A stickey and gross substance was spilled throughout most of the store. Unsanitary and uninviting for certain. Just happy I havent run into that issue here.

Clean and well organized. Prices are affordable, however its always important to check other food market stores in order to compare prices, because some items are more affordable in Safeway or other stores.

Cheap prices compared to other popular stores. You might not get all items you may be looking. There are long lines every time I visit the store. There are idle registers the store can use to reduce lengthy lines if they hire more cashiers. I do my main shopping here and saved a lot. They have parking enough for their customers. They have fresh fruits and vegetables. I love the candy section. They carry different kinds of chocolates and are fairly priced.

This location is dirty, disorganized, and full of immigrants who do not respect or appreciate the courtesy of waiting their turn in line or returning perishable items back to the refrigerator, or not opening products that they havent purchased and then leaving them on the counters. It is not that safe I feel and I have to recommend to my wife and friends that they go to another location even though this one tends to be stocked a little bit better than other locations. I still frequent this location because of its ease of access. However, I have been approached in the parking lot by people desperate for money wanting to take my shopping cart back just to make a quarter profit. They need to have more employees keeping the store neat and orderly and excusing or dismissing those patrons who are disorderly.

Low prices, good selection. Somewhat long check out lines, but clerks are efficient. Bring your own bags, as they have none. (You can purchase a sturdy, reusable bag for $2.) Bring a refundable quarter to use a shopping cart.

Great place! Great prices! But when though the county doesnt charge you for bags, this place will. Plus you bag your own groceries. Boxes are provided, like a club store, but you gotta search for those. Only reason I have i didnt give it full 5 stars is because its so small and really there isnt any rhyme or reason to how their nonparishables are on the shelves. Otherwise prices are fantastic!!!

Love getting my weekly groceries here! They have pretty much everything I need expect cereal. Though I do get their granola sometimes but it is a bit sugary... I love the low prices on the almond milk, fresh produce, and frozen vegetables/fruits! One thing I sure have to mention though is their long lines. Sometimes I just want to go in for a few things during the week that I may be running low on but feel discouraged to because I know the lines are going to be long... I try to get all the groceries I need for a full week in one shopping trip though. But I really do recommend shopping here for most of the groceries you’ll need for a full week, maybe even a month!

This was the first Aldi in the area that I knew of in 2008 and the customer service was good then. Up to now, 3/5/2020 I have nothing bad to say about this Aldi. Its always as clean as possible whenever I visit. The employees are always friendly and professional. I can almost always find what Im looking for or get assistance if I cant find something. With that being said this is one of the best Aldis Ive ever shopped at.

Very well stocked and organized compared to other Aldis stores in the area. The employees were very helpful and the cashiers keep the check out lines down by moving fast and keeping enough lines open to accommodate customers.

Aldis is a great place to shop if you are looking for a bargain to save money. Be forewarned, what they have stock rotates constantly so you may not be able to get everything you always want each time you visit. However, they always have certain staple items. But, the money you save is worth it to have to stop by another store for a few specialty items. If you to decide to shop at Aldis, remember to have a quarter to get your shopping cart (it is returned to you at the end when you return your cart) and to bring your own bags because they arent provided.

Super busy! Low on some of our favorite items. Be sure to check expiration dates. Staff are super awesome... and rarely get a slow moment.

Great prices for meat and generally great produce. I often get fresh fruit and never frozen meat here. Fairly clean and organized. This staff is just as quick as their locations in Beltsville and Bowie. You can definitely save a buck here if youre willing to bring or buy a few bags.

I loved it because they gave it an upgrade and it looks awesome. It is Also very organized. Dont expect much during Christmas season because people love it so much and there is barely anything left.

One must understand when shopping here that this is not a high end grocery store. But, the prices are very competitive, and the lines move very fast though the store is almost always packed! The quality of food sometimes suffers due to low prices, but the majority of the time it is far more than sufficient.

They have the best prices. They have generic store brand versions of popular products but it tastes about the same as the named brands except the prices are cheaper.

This place is crowded and dirty but the customer service is really good

Its a nice place to get cheaper food and items for the house but it gets packed and I find the environment a bit sterile. You must remember to have change in coins to be able to get a cart (no baskets available) and bags for your groceries because otherwise youll have to do without. They might have boxes but theyre hard to come by.

A bit cheaper as compared to other glossary stores in the area.Best time to buy is between 10am to 12 noon. You wont join any long line. 😀😀

Best deal on chocolate I have found. We also really enjoy their pizzas. They have a limited stock and you wont necessarily find the same things from visit to visit. Aldi is an adventure. Ah, dont forget to have a quarter ready for the shopping cart. This annoying policy is great once you are used to it because there are always carts available.

Very nice store and good customer service only setback is how long it takes to bring out the meat/fridge section when they get restocked and also the parking because its in a shopping center.

Had to wait for a cart at 930am on a Sunday

I love how the prices are much lower but realize the reason for that is because lots of big brands of food arent here. I wish there was more diversity but for the prices it is expected

The store is fine, but was under renovation so it was a bit hard to identify. Also, I went after it was already dark out, and there were random men in the parking lot offering to take my cart for me so that they could get the quarter. Being followed in a parking lot after dark was not good. I recommend going during the day.

Bad service

I am a massive Aldi fan. If decor matters to you, Aldi isnt your place. Same if you dont want to bag your groceries. Aldi has the best prices. It is small, so you can get your shop done very quickly. I buy our pantry shop here. What I dont buy here? Deli meat...aside from salami, they just dont do acceptibly well on that. I dont buy name brand cereal here -- they do have a couple brands, but one of my children loves a Cheerios flavor that isnt the one they have. They have great cheeses, chocolates, and gluten free items. They occasionally have cool specially stuff. Most weeks, I also hit another market to supplement what Aldi doesnt do well, or if I need fresh herbs. But for the ordinary stuff: pasta, marinara (buy the Specialty one), organic chicken or hamburger, milk, eggs, bagged citrus, hummus ... it hurts to pay regular store prices.

I appreciate Aldis great prices and their weekly specialty items. However, as a frequent shopper, I try to schedule my shopping trips to before 1:00 to avoid the long lines. When Im out of change, it is the stores policy to assist its shoppers with securing a shopping cart. I simply enter the store, go directly to a cashier and ask for a quarter for a shopping cart. Im then given a quarter for a shopping card. Its a win - win for both parties, and I am not limited nor inconvenienced during my shopping experiences.

Great prices and wonderful selection. This location has a lot of traffic. Thus the queues tend to be long and the shelves can at times be in the process of being re-stocked. But in all, this a sign of just how beloved the store is.

Do you know how hard it is for me to give an Aldi 4 stars???? Its because this one here in Langley/Takoma Park is so popular they sell out of basics sometimes. Love Aldi for big cheap pantry shops, the chocolate, the ease of whizzing through the store, gluten free stuff. Fair number of organics. Hey, it isnt Whole Foods...each have their place. We go here at least twice a month for pantry shops that easily save us a third off what we would have spent at Giant. Dont expect fancy.
