I recently had Two Men and a Truck move us from South Georgia to Tennessee. What a very pleasant experience dealing with this company. From the first estimate to the final move in date. Gary and his crew showed up and loaded the truck in no time at all. We made arrangements to meet in Tennessee. Gary stayed in touch during the move up. They showed up on time on move in day and again quickly moved and staged everything in its proper place. They were happy to move the furniture exactly where we wanted it. Everything arrived safe with no damage. Gary walked me through the contract before and after the move so I knew what to expect and the cost was exactly as Randy in the Tallahassee office had said in the estimate. I have never used a moving company before so I have nothing to compare them to, but I can tell you that it was well worth it. Two of my family members had recommended Two Men and a Truck and now I can happily recommend them. I had to move into a new house and being single and not knowing a lot of people, I had no help. I called this company and with good faith asked them to help me move. This was by far the best experience. The men who assisted were so amazing, they helped me move everything into the new house. They helped set up my bed and placed my furniture where I asked. Jarvis, James and Chris helped us two days in a row and were EXCELLENT!!! Second day we had a few extra awesome guys too! Everyone was super kind and extremely well mannered. They made sure all our items where properly taken care of. Anything I asked or needed completed, there was no push back. Their only concern was my happiness.Our move was extremely extensive and took 3 trucks over two days. I never heard a single gripe, only smiles and some laughter. These men work very well with one another and are a true team. They are very respectable and kind spirited.Thank you for making this move so much easier than I expected! Gary and Cedric with Two Men and aTruck were wonderful to work with. They were so professionally and polite. It was the most smoothest move I’ve ever experienced and I’ve dealt with a lot of movers over the past 30 years with my career in government. Everything was explained up front and all my questions were answered. The movers were on time as scheduled and handled my household item with kit gloves. I couldn’t have asked for a better moving crew. The best crew in my opinion 🙂In fact, if I have to move again I will definitely book with Two Men and a Truck and request Gary and Cedric. Caroline is the sweets person. She called to check on who things were going and I was happy to report..wonderfully. It was like dealing with family that’s the level of trust I had with Two Men and a Truck, Gary and Cedric. We are not just looking for a mover. This company did an excellent job in helping me to relocate my elderly mother from Florida to Georgia. They were very efficient, on-time, courteous and helpful. They took care of everything and helped to make a stressful move pleasant. They made sure I was happy with everything and asked questions to ensure everything I wanted to move was on the truck and then made sure everything was placed where I wanted it in the new location. Moved all the stuff from my 10x10 storage unit fast & safely. Everything was intact when moved in & only took about 2 hours to move everything out of the storage unit & into my fourth floor apartment. Overall great experience & super helpful! Everyone was professional & responsive.

I booked the movers a month in advance. They were patient with my checking a few times over the month to make sure that it was still on the books (it was). The team that came out called to let me know when they would be here and called when they were at the gate to let me know they arrived. We did a walkthrough as I explained everything that we wanted to move. They verified as we went along to make sure that they were moving the right items. They plastic wrapped the items and padded them as needed. They were very fast and professional in moving the items out of our old address. They let us know about when to expect them to the new address and were there in a timely manner. They worked very efficiently and carefully to put the items exactly where we wanted them, even in spite of some tricky doorways. We were really impressed with the team. I would not hesitate to use them again - though we plan to stay where we are :)

The movers themselves were fantastic-personable, efficient and took great care with our belongings. Unfortunately, we had some issues with our estimate and the amount of truck space needed was grossly underestimated; we had to rent a UHaul and move some large objects on our own. It was super inconvenient and frustrating to say the least. On the upside, their office has worked hard to make things right, reimbursing some of the costs and has been very responsive and taken responsibility. They’ve addressed all of our concerns and made things as right as possible. They’ve also taken responsibility for some marks on our couch and have professional cleaners coming to address it. Overall, I’d recommend. Things happen and they’ve done a good job of rectifying the situation

I called on a Friday in need of immediate help to move my mother in law in Assisted Living. They understood the urgency and not only fit us in, but Jarvis and the team were great to work with. I used Two Men and a Truck to move into my apartment 3 years ago. Everything went great, and in the end my bill was lower than expected. I was happy with the service. 10 days ago, I was left high and dry the day of the move.I booked their service a month in advance to move out of the same apartment. The truck arrived (on time) and pulled into the parking lot, which has a steep drive. To be fair, I have seen a stretch limo bottom out on it and get stuck. Anyway, I see them (3 men not 2) pull in successfully and I wave to indicate where the apartment is. I get a wave back and go back inside to bring out some boxes. Come back out and they are backing the truck out. They leave without a word to me.A few min later I get a call and they say the truck bottomed out pulling in and they were going to try to get a higher truck. I hadnt seen an issue when they pulled in but I may have missed it and they asserted it would be a bigger issue once the truck was loaded. I suggested they just get a smaller truck (I believe they brought a 22) as I dont have much furniture (as they could tell from the info I gave them when I booked their service 4 weeks prior).After 3 hrs of phone tag, Im told they will not be able to help me move that day because they cant get a smaller truck and if they had to park farther away they would require more crew and no one else was available. I say 3 men arrived earlier and I could help, but am told they cant allow me to help for liability reasons. The manager says they could come Monday (its Saturday). I told them my lease and utilities were to be cancelled the following day and Id have to pay hold over fees to move Monday, so that would not do. They said they were sorry but Monday was the best they could do.Its 4 PM at this point. I drive 2 miles from my apartment to the U-haul store, rent a 15 foot truck on the spot (I was shocked they had one available as it was a Saturday on the 1st of the month...lots of ppl moving), call 2 friends, and we get the job done in 1 trip. Truck moved in and out fine. It took 3 hrs and cost $73 total (silver lining).If I were the manager of 2 Men and a Truck, I would have taken some petty cash and rented a U-haul. Or they could have brought the appropriate sized truck for the (small) job to begin with, or scoped out the location, or asked about steep inclines upon booking. It didnt occur to me that it would be a problem- since they were able to move me in, I figured they could move me out, right? Apparently not. I cannot recommend this moving service. Very stressful and disappointing experience.

I was able to get the date I was hoping for, and it was easy to reach out to the office with further questions prior to the move date. On the day of moving, my team was in good communication with me and arrived in the expected time window. They introduced themselves and followed COVID-19 safety protocols. They were efficient and great team as far as helping each other. They took great care of my stuff and all three locations we went to. The move was fairly complicated with the multiple stops, a narrow driveway, and a piano involved, but I couldnt have asked for a better experience! I have had to move my baby grand piano 3 times in the last 1 1/2. Each time I called on Two Men and a Truck because they are experts at moving pianos. Not only are they friendly, but they are careful, considerate and care for your precious instrument as if it were their own. I highly recommend them!

We needed movers to get our furniture into a POD for storage. They were very strong, professional and really nice men. Well be scheduling the rest of our move with Two Men and a Truck!

We know the original estimate was for 2 trucks, but a single truck was determined sufficient by you, and the team could have done more to help us avoid having to come back a second time for the rest of our stuff. We will now have to rent a u-haul truck and 2 sets of loader-unloaders to get the rest of our possessions. They also missed loading he rails to a bed (which we were told were there), adding another reason that we have to make a second move effort. One of the movers (Matt or Max) was friendly and cheerful, the others were not. They over emphasized that they accept tips. One good thing is that they agreed to take our extra mattress to the second storage place, BUT ONLY after Jarvis had checked to see if we had given good tips to the other helpers in Tallahassee.

Great job, fun guys! Our move required multiple pickup locations (two storage units and our house), and then two drop-off locations in the Georgia Mountains. The twisty roads required using a two-axle truck; no way a big moving van could make it. Moreover, these are mountain cabins. It was snowing at the first stop. Jarvis and Quentin were great throughout, even to the point of appreciating my odd sense of humor. Polite, fun, speedy, and careful.Were very happy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

These guys are good; at least the 2 guys that loaded us out were (they brought a helper) and unloaded us 410 miles away.The whole move was low-key, no sweat (well the 2 guys probably did). They were careful, although our stuff has little value, and considerate: when they were done unloading they tracked down my wife to ask if she wanted anything moved around.We have moved several times and used every method: from the big corporate movers like Atlas down to a Uhaul truck towing the car.2 Men and a Truck is the way to go.

I scheduled a local move about a week out, but they cancelled on me last minute, leaving me with furniture on my lawn.They had asked for an estimate of boxes and other furniture so they could quote me a price and schedule the appropriate length of time. I gave them a quick estimate and told them I might be able to call back later with a more detailed list once I finished packing. They said I was on the schedule and good to go.Apparently there was a prior-day check in, of which I recieved no notice during my initial call. Even though they had my origin and destination addresses, phone number, and estimate of items to be moved, they decided to cancel the appointment for lack of information.I called around to other moving companies, and several said that this company is known for bumping people off the schedule when they get a more lucrative opportunity. Dont risk being left with your living room on the lawn like I was, there are plenty of good local movers who still put a premium on customer service.

For the most part I think they were pretty good this time. I had asked the Office to please send me someone who knew how to move and reinstall a Sleep Number Bed. These guys didnt know the right thing to do which caused me to have to get someone else to do it.Otherwise everything else was good.

Not a great experience. On a very small move they left an item on the truck or somehow lost it. When I called to discuss it with the manager he said you have no recourse. I was only asking if they could double check for me...treating customers nicely is key in a service industry. Staff training may be a good move.

Everything about the experience was good except.....Two Men and A Truck - Tallahassee did a great job with our reservation, the movers did a decent job moving our furniture and setting it back up. There was an incident while disassembling our sons bed that it broke but they did their best to fix it. They claimed it was broken prior to but we disagreed especially since the beds were less than a year old. They were pleasant and professional (90% of the time) - but hey I get it. When youre moving stuff, it helps to lighten the load with jokes and humor amongst each other. I was generally pleased with the whole process and left a decent tip as a result. Then we noticed some money missing that our son had been saving. There was a moment when one of the movers was left alone while putting our bed back together. We know the money was there prior to the movers coming in the house and then, after they left, it was not.Two Men interviewed the movers and of course they didnt admit to it. We were encouraged to file a police report but didnt feel it was worth the time and resources to do so especially since we didnt have an eye witness.Lesson learned and a caution to others, stay with the movers and watch how they handle your things especially as they disassemble and reassemble your pieces. I wish I had more eyes on the scene to watch all three of them moving things but I was the only one around at the time and couldnt see everything.
