Southern Tire is one of the few places in Tampa I trust with my car. The staff is super friendly and very honest. I go there for any repair service I need done and they never try to upsell me things I don’t need. Dont waste your time here. They claim to be first come, first serve but push jobs not deemed worth their time to the literal end of the queue and day. Wasted my day on a job that would have taken less than 30 minutes.

Southern Tire Company was recommended to me for tire and alignment work after I had mechanic work done and I cannot be happier. When I called Jamel and explained my needs and that I was not in a position to just drop the car and go, he helped to make it work for me. He and his team were professional, honest, and provided me three financial options (frugal, middle of road, and top of the line) and talked me through each one. I asked about my brakes and he shared that mine were not in need yet (I think I would have been up-sole in other places). Bonus, they offered me a free tire rotation every 7000 miles... maybe a marketing tool, but I am greatly appreciative!

I came here after stopping at another place that practically wanted to rebuild my entire front end and brakes. Turns out, i only needed a fraction of that.... thank you southern tire for your honesty. These guys simply keep it real.

Honestly these guys are the best. Go see Jamel, hes taken care of our business Jeep as well as my personal Cayenne. They always have exotic cars there which should tell you something, theyre half the price of the local stealerships, and the team does fantastic work. Highly recommended.

Staff was friendly and they we’re able to get my truck and my girls car in for new tires the same day. They were reasonably priced and never tried to push anything after we told them what we wanted. They also had my tires (Toyo R/T 33x12.50) on hand, which was a surprise as it’s usually not the case. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience and will be utilizing them again in the future.

Thorough assessment, courteous service, careful work, and honest!I called them at the end of my shift to have my tire checked. Front Tire had been running low and occasionally making the tire sensor go off on the Benz. No matter how much I refilled it at home, a few days later the sensor would go off. I was expecting a nail or some pierced object in the tire.I called them around 430pm hoping they could help. Gentleman on the phone said bring it in and well take care of you. I was there by 455pm. Juan was my technician and he did a great job carefully removing the wheel and inspecting the tire. He found the issue to be loose valves! Tire was fine. He had the torque wrench to carefully tighten the outer nut and inside valve stem. Showing me while he did it, I could easily see the reason for the leak. (even though he had already showed me using the soapy water technique which is tried and true in my book). Then he checked the other three tires and reset the tire sensors after a quick drive. I am very happy I called them and they deserve all the annual awards they get! I could have gotten charged more, but they were extremely fair and I let them know I was very grateful. I am keeping this local business on my short list for go to businesses!

Why does it take 2 days to change the oil in a car? I’ll never return to this business. I took Ubers back and forth to work and then home when my car wasn’t ready by the end of the day after dropping it off at about 9:30 am for an oil change, rotate/balance, and new windshield wipers. I was told it would be ready by 8 am the next day so I took another uber to get there only to find out my car was still not ready. I needed it for a road trip but I had to just take my car because I do not trust them to have my car ready when they say they will

Not happy with their service. Had an alignment done with them twice within a month because it wasn’t done right the first time. The second time my car still wasn’t aligned properly. But instead of telling me that somethings wrong with my car and I need to fix something mechanical inside in order for the car to be properly aligned, they just didn’t say anything at all and let me go on my way. Got my money back but with a blown tire. Then they had the audacity to sell me a 150$ tire when I can find the same one on eBay for $70. I know the owner reads their reviews perfusly and replied to them. So if you’re reading this, please don’t even bother writing me back. You’ve done more than enough...nothing. Taking my business elsewhere.

Southern tire is in a situation where they have so much business that they have no need to swoon their customers with excellent service. They routinely service tires for all kind of very exotic cars; Maseratis, Lamborghini, Porsches...etc. They install super low profile tires on 25+ wheels. They perform road Force balancing too which is really not an option if you ask me...if you like a smooth ride...its a requirement.Ive never had a problem with their actual work. Their customer service skills are sometimes unpolished but some customers are rude to begin with, so...if you walk in with an attitude you may get one right back at you.

Im a first time customer needing a new tire because of a flat probably from all of the construction in south Tampa where I live. I especially like family owned and operated businesses and STC deserves my 5-star rating! They were incredibly busy this week before the Memorial Day weekend and told me that fixing the tire would take longer than usual and I didnt care because I made the right choice!

They are the best, I trust them to be fair and honest and they have never let me down. I always take my car there and recommend them to all my friends.

Went in just to get a new tire to replace flat. Walked in, the guy at the counter was stuffing his face, acted as if I was annoying him, a real douche. Simple, run of the mill tire, nothing fancy or exotic. Its about noon, douche says: well, uh, Ill order it, might be here at five. Damn, knew I should have just gone to Sam;s, oh well, too late. Finally, tire ready, another wagoff acts like hes doing me a favor just to take my money. Needless to say, will never give my business to this dump again. They were very eager to help this 20 something blonde bimbo who walked in with her entitled attitude: Im here, now everybody bow down and wait on me. What a bunch of rubes. No customer service to be found here.
