Hours say theyre open until 7, I arrive at 5:59 and the doors locked with a sign that says temporarily closing at 6. I saw multiple employees inside so I knocked on the door and yelled I have a lot of near brand new jeans Im willing to sell for next to nothing and got a reply of we closed. Hundreds of dollars worth of brand new, name brand jeans I was willing to sell for like 30 bucks cuz Im moving tomorrow and they lock the door a minute early and wouldnt take 2 minutes to let me in and get this ridiculously good deal.Change the hours posted on google so people dont waste there time, and dont lock up early on top of it !!!
This place is a gem. Truly it is. Amazing vibe and concept. You never know what you may find and they are always fair with trading the clothes. Great way to Recycle!
My clothes there people are very friendly but drop them off because they told me its going to be a 2 hour wait to go through my clothes that I was Trading, when I came back to pick up my items got home one of my bags if they didnt take was missing it was a Coach hobo small hobo bag I talk to someone when I call back and they were supposed to reach back out to me never did. Im very upset! How can someone take from you and honest business.
Seems like a nice store. Shouldnt be called a vintage clothing store. Weird energy/atmosphere in the store.
This is quite genuinely the best thrift store in St Pete! The staff is super friendly and the clothing is excellent quality at a great price point. I will definitely be coming back here to keep updating my wardrobe.
Not so much employees fault, maybe in a policy- but as there were other women working i thought we would be nice and courteous to each other- but i was wrong. I bought over 100$ worth of clothes and realized i got my period while i was in the middle of shopping still- and they wouldnt even let me use their restroom. it was super embarrassing- i understand not letting one open to the public- but seriously it was all women working. What if i would of tried on all the clothes with a bloody massacre? you think thatd be ok? Just sad they didnt even let me use the restroom. Never will be back again.
Very weird overpriced store. Not just vintage clothes but strange vintage clothes. If you are into the unique and out there then this is your place.
Love bringing my clothes here, staff is always so friendly and their merchandise is always great
It’s like Depop shopping, except in real life—lots of cute, USED clothes being sold for more than they were originally bought for. Saw a basic t-shirt for $10, a faded, well-worn dress for nearly $20, and a mumu for $30 🥴 you could buy all of those things for half the price from an actual thrift store. Nothing there is really worth what they charge you for
I really enjoy my visits to this shop. I think the items are priced fairly. And I’ve always left with something cool that was well priced.I took some of my old things there last time I went and they only took two things. The rest of the things I asked why she couldn’t take them, the lady gave me very good explications and was very polite.
Great consignment shop for vintage and designer clothing and accessories.
A nice place to get money for your clothes as long as they are good quality. I do wish there was more mens clothing, but this is just a reality of most thrift stores. As a guy you will probably blow through the selection in about 10 - 15 minutes. That aside, the staff are friendly and the clothes are in good condition, even if the styles that get picked to be sold are subjective.
You can find some good items here but as other reviewers have said, look over your items closely because Ive discovered stains before that I didnt notice in store. Customer service is very hit or miss. One woman who works here is helpful and kind, but the other employees just kind of stare you down and act like its such a chore to help you or even talk to you. They could make the shopping experience better with just a little more effort/training on the customer service front.
Meh. Found a few cute things, inventory was ok but nothing great. Also staff isn’t super friendly. At the register after shopping I asked to use the restroom and was told I could go to Panera down the street...no thanks, I won’t be back. It’s ridiculous to have a store that won’t allow you to use a restroom.
So its a cool place. My issues are that the mens section is very small and the prices are high. There was a pair of jeans for $22, when you could buy a similar pair new for $29. There was also a lack of mirrors near the clothes. I ended up with an item from the sale rack.
Waited in line outside for half an hour and still didn’t even make it in. As long as everyone is wearing a mask we should be let in. Staff is not handling the store well.
They have some really cool clothes. The prices are sometimes decent, but not “thrift” prices. A couple employees seem to have attitudes all the time. Last time I went I bought a pretty cool shirt, but I wasn’t expecting it to be as expensive as it was, especially for having stains on it. It was my fault for not looking closer (the stains kind of blended into the design of the shirt). After multiple washes the stains are still there. Solid 3 stars
I love their store 😍
Fair prices and selection... The vibe in the store is weird. No one is exactly helpful whenever Ive been in there. Its just this eerie and creepy vibe. Its like theyre watching you but not saying anything. What type of customer service skills is it to just watch someone shop and not ask if they need help finding something in general or something like that. I brought my friend there and he said the same thing. It wasnt a busy day and they werent under staffed at the moment.
One of my favorite stores to shop at! I drive all the way from Tampa at least once a month to donate my clothes and use the store credit to shop here. They have every style you could think of, and all of the good brands too. I always rave about this place to anyone who will listen!
Better than the Ybor store
I have been shopping here for at least 10 years! Long long before the growth and the other 3 stores opening up. I love this place and it provides a real value and actually carries men’s clothing and accessories. My advice though! Serious! Bring a face mask! Mad crazy DUST! Same dust that’s always been there for as long as I can remember. Get with it! Clean up your act. Be professional. Three stars is being generous.
A nice place the girls were really nice Definitely would go back
Best little thrift/consignment clothing store Ive been to yet. Lots of vintage if thats your thing. Great 1/2 off sales. Something for men and women.
Love this place. Great finds, friendly & helpful staff.
I love romping around in this shop! I always find a few super cute unique things! I find the prices to be on point and they also have a lot of stuff moving thru. Staff is great! Kind, helpful and personable! 🙏🏽
Gave me a fair price for a dress I traded in for store credit. The staff was patient while I tried on a million things. The building itself is small so they have a small selection, but what they have is in AMAZING condition.
My experience at Revolve was Bad. When I walked in no one greeted me, but the two people after me were. The employees watched me but never asked me if I needed help. The prices were to high for the quality of clothing.I found a couple of dresses I liked and before trying them on I asked to use the restroom,.I was told they didnt have one. So I left the two dresses, the cover up in the changing room, and left the store. I felt vintage being there alright...just like I was in 1945 when there were white and black restrooms. If Im not worthy enough to use your restroom,..your not worthy enough to get my money.
Nice place. But a small selection for plus size
Always amazing! Love spending time digging through the clearance and vintage items! Great for Halloween if you get there early in the month
Such a cute shop I love this place! Good selection and pricing. The employees are sweet and helpful.
Ok
Great selection of clothing. Knowledgeable staff that takes the time to put pieces to together. They do a great job of showing their pieces on social media. That’s what brought me in for the first time.
Found the perfect date night dress here. Cant wait to continue shopping here.
Selection for men is slim. Pricing is not thrift shop but quality is better. Staff is pleasant.
BUYER BEWAREBought a shirt from their location in Ybor City. Too small for my daughter. Tried to exchange it at their St Pete location. They refused saying their computers dont talk to each other so it was never in their St Pete system. I was in Ybor on a fluke. Not driving 25 miles to exchange it. Same ownership. Ridiculous policy. They lost a customer over a $12 sale. My kid had $200 in birthday money to spend their. Their loss.
Alway enjoy going here . The girls that work here are very nice .
Always a fun & successful shopping experience. A lot of cool/different things to spend your money on.
This is my favorite of the revolve locations. Parking is a little tricky, you can parallel park in front of the store or park in a small back parking lot. Its a great way to recycle your items from your closet that youve grown tired of. They also have a selection of jewelry, accessories, and small household items.
Very cool vibes from this place, as someone whos worked in retail all my life, Id say maybe merchandising is what I had issue with. Like the locations Ive visited have very stuff, but it could be displayed/organized better personally
Honestly, their stuff is a bit over priced considering it’s used clothes. In addition, they hardly give you anything when you sell to them when you compare it to how much they’ll charge for it. The organization in the store is nice and the staff is pretty helpful though.
Good store but prices are a little high. If you want true vintage it might be worth it. For me I was just looking for usual used cloths.
I used to love buying and selling here but some of the current staff is rude and snotty. They also have seemed to have lowered their payout percentage and raised their prices. I dont think I will sell there again and I will probably reconsider shopping there as well.
Calling this place a vintage store is an enormous stretch. Worn out Forever 21, Ann Taylor and American Eagle is not vintage. There were a few, scarce bits of vintage clothing floating around (like a couple of dresses and a handful of clutches and accessories) the 3-4 times I shopped there, but the condition of the items ranged from mediocre to no way I would wear it out. This seems like the type of place where the staff picks over the best stuff before anything hits the shelves. There are some pretty cool accessories at the check out counter, which are worth perusing. If the entire store was the stuff at the counter I would shop there.
Great shop. A little pricey. Not worth selling your stuff to them you get peanuts
I used to adore this place because the prices were right in the selection was awesome. But having to wait outside while they lead people out and say only one person to come in when the sign clearly states 10 people in the store at a time is ridiculous. Not only is it hot outside but they could use courtesy, say please wait, we will let you in shortly. Not good customer service and I am no longer going to spend my money here.
Staff is helpful. And I can usually find one or two outfits that I like. Im only going to give 4 ☆ for how small the mens section is. but they have a good selection.
👍 Great second hand clothing store to buy. They need more mens clothes. Thanks
As someone who managed a consignment store I have to say this place isn’t that bad. I give them 3 stars for having a moderate selection of inventory, and their prices being a little too high for used clothes. Yes, we get it the brand might be a higher quality but $40 for anything used (especially shoes) is a stretch. Nordstrom rack will clearance brands once $200+ for a price close to that, and the shoes will be brand new.If they were more realistic with prices I think the owner will see more sales and customers. When I come I always find 1 or 2 things. If you are in downtown St Pete I do recommend stopping in to browse around, you’ll probably find a cute $8 tank top, it won’t be brand name though but very cute.Advice for shoppers:Don’t get upset when a consignment store offers little for your item. It’s used, it’s size specific and the establishment has overhead (expenses), it is a business. Maybe they refused your perfect and on trend size 0 shorts from Bloomingdale’s because 70% of their shorts inventory are small sizes; they simply have too many.Advice for store owners:Cycle the inventory out. If it’s not selling, sale it out. Lower the price. Get it out of there. I’ve been to the Revolve on Kennedy several times and cannot tell you how long the same inventory was on those racks for. Months? Years? Don’t be overzealous about pricing. Know the market and price accordingly, know the trends and search accordingly. For example, rompers and jumpsuits are in, so be on your toes for that. Research by visiting out of state stores like Crossroads and Buffalo Exchange. I love local re-sale shops successful.
Very cute consignment store. Lots of clothes and shoes. Friendly staff
Offered $4 for a $200 coat and $4 for a vintage genuine leather bag. They then turn around and sell it for a ridiculous markup. I drove all the way from Largo to downtown St Pete and she told me she might get to looking at my stuff by the end of the day, end of the day came I called her and she said it wouldnt be ready until tomorrow so two trips to downtown to be offered $13. Cost me more in gas. Youre better off selling your items on Facebook or OfferUp
This store is overpriced. You’re much better off going to a platos closet or a thrift store. I own a target brand jacket that I bought for 9 dollars at target that they are trying to sell in the store for 16 dollars! They have zaful and forever 21 brand croptops for 10 dollars which is pretty much the retail price for those items. Save your money, be a informed consumer, and go elsewhere.
Second time there, I brought a bag of clothing in great condition (some new, others never worn ). Names like Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, etc.... The sales girl informed me that my clothes were too summery dispite the fact that there were racks of sleeveless summery shirts, crop tops, shorts, and capri pants. I asked what I should bring in and she was quite snooty and Not exactly a Fashionista herself. Most of the tee-shirts were too worn and overpriced! I didnt see anything I liked and wont be going back!
I dont know. Sometimes I find cute things here, but most of the time this stuff is totally out of style. And I think they severely underprice things when you sell them.Revolve really excels in the vintage department and in the dresses, where the selection is vast. There are tons of clothes in here, but I feel like the selection has gone downhill recently. If you sell back your clothes here, dont expect to get anywhere close to what they are actually worth. You can get more bang for your buck if you sell for store credit, which is what I usually do when Im giving them my clothes.
Horrible place! I dropped off 5 jeans and waited 35 mins walking around the empty store . there was literally no other customers in there at all. And they still couldnt look at my five pairs of pants and give me a price. They called me a day later and got a busy signal so then they called me two days later and said that my jeans have to be donated because I didnt answer the phone the first time they called me. Do not bring your clothes to these people especially if you are a man. They have a very horrible mens clothing selection anyways dont waste your time with this horrible customer service place. Would be great if someone bought this place and turned it into a real business, instead of whatever the hell they call this thing.
Love this place. Great clothes at reasonable prices. Staff is super friendly.
Cute clothes. For a thrift store, theyre pricey but they only accept good quality clothing. Similar to Platos but a more eclectic selection.
Horrible staff communication. They donated all the clothes they couldn’t take and gave me store credit after I asked for the exact opposite. Never returned my calls or tried to resolve the situation.
Not the greatest mens selection, but its fun to browse and never know what you may find.
I use to love this place so much but stopped coming after one of the store associates, I think her name was Julie snapped at me for asking about a time frame on clothes sorting (she spoke to me in a very condescending tone and cut me off before I could finish my sentence. It left me a little surprised) but that aside, the prices here are not that great. I bought a sweater from TJ Max once and saw the same one on the Revolve instagram for MORE money. Someone on social media pointed it out and they immediately deleted the comment. It just looked like they have something to hide. If your looking to save money, goodwill, Salvation Army or Second Image thrift store would be your best bet.
Awesome boutique, although it was my very first visit. New to Florida and St Pete. Unfamiliar with the back door entrance my daughter with autism walking through the front door, where apparently there was an employee taking a photo for instagram advertising of the day. Blinded by the sunlight, when walking in Now i know Back Door Preferred store. Everything was on the floor staged for the Photo Op we accidently walked into the merchandise term used by the unprofessional cashier, and yelled as if us the customers were wrong for entering the wrong door. My daughter and I spent about 2 hours there shopping, as i mentioned she has special needs and we still spent close to 200$, might not seem like alot of money spent. We choose to come there looked cute in passing, but i will choose to never return, and all my info was given to cashier. #fulltransparency
Really like the friendly staff and the great selection
Very nice place and staff. Clothes are great
Love this store but its a drive wish the closer one was as good at the st. Pete store
Love the clothes and the staff! Its a great find. Im going to shop here for the majority of my clothes and shoes from now on
Love this store! I drop in at least once per month. Always new, cool items with great prices. Rarely leave without buying!
Pricey for a second hand boutique .Decent selection .
Always one or two good pieces at good prices. Youll have to sift through a good bit of(cheaply priced) forever21 and the like, but thats part of the fun, right?
Clean store with nice quality clothing but a little more on the pricey side for a thrift store. I didnt see much below $15 but worth it if you dont like sorting through all the junk that there is at some thrift stores.
Love this store, really cool clothes, shoes, accessories etc.
The coolest clothes in town, you can even bring in your clothes for store credit! And you get a stamp card so you get credit each time you go (I think its $5 per stamp) and you can redeem it once you fill a card.
Good selection for both men and women of funky fresh styles for everyday & going out.
WAYYYYY, WAYYYYYY too overpriced. Trying to be a boutique but ended up bougie...👎
If you are looking to sell your clothes here for cash be prepared for them to lowball you on the price.
Cool shop kinda sad its like 1/12 guys stuff
Great selection. Phenomenal customer service. For buying local, Revolve is a retail staple!
This thrift store is obviously geared towards ladies in their teens to young professionals age group... and the artists. Its as if artists and vintage photographers left all their props inside Revolve-- just take a look at the employees who are often sporting fashion from the store. But dont worry ladies-- theres enough regular clothes too. But guys? Their selection is somewhat limited to a space the size of a bathroom. The prices may seem a few quarters higher than other thrift stores, but for the fashionable selection here (no suspicious stains, smells or grossssss moments) Ill gladly pay those extra cents. Although theyre helpful when you ask, when theyre not helping customers, the staff tend to be very loud and chatty in their conversations between each other.
Love the girls here and great clothes!!
Great prices, cool clothes. Dont get much for the clothes you bring in though
Great exchanges. Parking can be a bit hard
5 stars on styles and prices, best place in town.
Love the clothing and staff is very helpful.
Wife loves this place!!!
Its a bit too expensive for the brands they carry. Clothes Mentor has much better quality brands & prices.
Very well organized, staff is friendly, and a big selection.
Best place for shopping & donations!
Great Selection!Awesome Prices!
Girls are always. helpful and friendly
Only 0 to 3 sizes...way too much $$ for 2nd hand clothes !
Very cute place with nice stuff
Great finds for cheap!
Always nice girls service is awesome
The hours of operation are wrong and while one employee was nice neither were helpful and one was flat out grumpy.
I wish they accepted more varieties of clothing.
Cool people, fun clothes. Go there!
Not impressed....prices a little high
Trash They’re Very Picky on what they buy have no options for men and barley anything good at all
Good prices great choices
