Saw the other review from the lady who had issues getting a refund and luckily that was not my experience.I went to most of the stores in the area you see and hear commercial for. I was pricing diamonds for an engagement ring. I saw 40-50 diamonds at other stores and felt I had a handle on what my budget could afford. The diamond I got at CWD was evaluated at other places for more than a couple thousand more than I paid for it. I felt so good about the deal on the engagement ring that we got our bands at CWD as well.I dont know about returns, and I dont know if things changed since I was there, but I got a very good deal.

I really enjoyed my experience at Continental. The store is bright and inviting, the displays are diverse yet not overwhelming. The employees are a delight to chat with, friendly, down to Earth and really listened to me. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very knowledgeable. I especially love the fact that so many of the pieces have a unique, custom look. The buyer obviously has his demographic in mind because nothing looked generic or like a run of the mill corporate retailer. It was an overall delightful and fun experience with excellent customer service and I was blown away by what my existing jewelry looked like after they cleaned it!!! It looked better than the day I bought it! I look forward to going back to choose a new piece for my collection when my husband and I reach our next milestone.

Andrew and his team went above and beyond! When my wife and I married I gave her a “traditional” wedding/engagement set. It was beautiful but never had that “pop”. Continental designed new settings, placed her diamond in the new settings and gave her ring that “pop”! We are customers for life!

The ladies were very patient and unlike all of the other jewelers we went to they did not try to force us into a bigger ring. We were having two small diamonds put into one ring as one was my mothers first and the other was my grandmothers. They helped us find a ring to set them in and that my fiance liked as well. I will definitely go back for future upgrades and possible presents, but dont tell my fiance please.

I had a very nice experience working with Nancy and Andy when purchasing a birthday gift for my wife. I explained my wifes taste to Nancy and she found the perfect ring - which my wife loved. Buying a gift for my wife is typically stressful and requires a lot of shopping around - getting the perfect gift for the perfect woman isnt easy. Thankfully Nancy is an expert.

Total bait & switch tactic used at this jeweler. Please see Ms. Granados experience below, mine was the same. I did not get anything close to what I paid for through a special order with the store. I will never buy from this store again. I now understand why they had to downsize to such a tiny store from their prior, huge location that used to be further south on Westshore Blvd.

Andy is the best jeweler in Tampa! He made several pieces of jewelry for my wife and I that will be in our family for generations. Continental Wholesale Diamonds is the only place I will shop for my jewelry.

We bought our engagement ring from here. Staff has been super nice. Couple of the small diamonds have fallen out and they replaced them with no problems. Would recommend.

EXPECT TO BE DISAPPOINTED, LIED TO AND DISMISSED ONCE YOU PAY FOR YOUR PURCHASE. I purchased GIA certified loose diamonds for earrings from Continental Wholesale Diamond. Andrew tells me he does not stock high quality GIA stones because his Tampa customers are too cheap to pay for them so they need to be ordered. I paid for the diamonds in advance and I was told they would arrive in the parameters requested based on a smaller pair I had viewed in store. DO NOT TRUST THAT ANDREW WILL DO ANYTHING FOR YOU ONCE HE HAS BEEN PAID.The diamonds I ordered arrived though they were not a matched pair (one of them was cut a little deep and appeared darker than the other, in addition they were supposed to be triple excellent in terms of cut, symmetry, and polish and the symmetry is off on both stones), so in essence they were not what I paid for. I brought this to Andrews attention and he agreed. Andrew said he understood assured me he would would replace them without issue. We are here to make you happy is what his sly catchphrase is. Well, it is now 3 months later and 20+ calls later and the stones have still not been replaced. NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM NOT HAPPY. Andrew has yet to return a single call- NOT ONE. I have to continue to call to catch him in the store. When I eventually reach him he promises that diamonds are either ordered or being shipped and though when pressed on this he says the shipper has not provided him with a tracking number. Every week I call they are coming in the following week. I live in New York so I was unable to visit the store to address this in person. Each week passes and Andrew lies once more and never orders the stones. I finally returned to Tampa to address the situation in person and he went so far as to tell me 100% the diamonds would arrive end of day.. guess what? He called to let me know Fedex had not arrived and once again he had no tracking number. He said the diamonds would arrive first thing so I shouldt worry. Lets be honest, diamonds are being shipped, there is a tracking number! Well, I just called him again and his employee confirmed they were not ordered and therefore would not be arriving. ANDREW IS NOT AN HONEST BUSINESS OWNER, HE IS A CON MAN & LIAR. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN OR THIS STORE, YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR!***UPDATE***I returned the diamonds to CWD. I was promised by Will, I would receive a refund by the end of day 4/6/17 or at the latest 4/7/17. Needless to say no refund was issued. I went to the store to speak with Andrew, He stated that he would not issue a refund. He also said I couldnt prove they had taken the diamonds back because I had no signature that they had been returned. That is a pretty scummy statement to begin with, however I let him know that Will signed for their return. Visibly upset by this, he called to Will to find out if this was true. After confirming it, he became angry and said it didnt matter and he would not issue a refund and he would dispute any claims with my credit card company so I should just take the diamonds with me, because they are pretty.This is extremely discriminatory. Can anyone out there imagine him saying this to a man who had purchased diamonds who had not received what he had paid for? Something like.. Sir, I know I am ripping you off and I didnt supply you with what you paid for, plus Ive spent the last several months lying to you and avoiding your calls/emails and despite the fact that we have signed for the return of these diamonds because we are unwilling to do anything to resolve the situation Id like you just just take the diamonds with you because they are pretty. No way in hell would that happen. We went in circles discussing the issue. Andrew kept repeating he would make it right.THE EARRINGS WERE RETURNED TO THE STORE 3/30/2017. ANDREW HAS THE DIAMONDS & THE $6,600 PAID FOR THEM. TO DATE ALMOST 6 WEEKS HAS PASSED AND THERE HAS BEEN NO OUTREACH BY THE STORE OR ATTEMPT AT RESOLUTION.BEWARE -After speaking with other Tampa area jewelers THIS IS IN NO WAY AN ISOLATED OCCURRENCE!
