I wanted to upgrade the center stone in my wife’s original engagement ring to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this year. I researched other “big box” jewelry stores as well as local jewelry stores in the Tampa area. I studied online and actually visited and got quotes from one or two as well. Meridian rose to the top.Scott was professional, informed, very kind and helpful. I wasn’t sure if I should consider a lab diamond or stay with a natural diamond. He helped educate me on the advantages of both, laid out the options and showed me independent websites that confirmed what he was saying. At no point in time did he try to persuade me or influence my decision one way or the other. It was absolutely zero pressure and no haggling which was very refreshing.I ended up selecting a beautiful stone and my wife is extremely happy with the her ring. Scott also provided a very professional appraisal document to provide to my insurance company.Excellent and very personalized service. Highly recommend

I had a small parcel of jewelry from my mothers estate that I needed to get appraised. It was a humble parcel, some of which I did not even know existed until I was tasked with valuing and distributing her possessions. I know little of jewelry so I started looking around the area for appraisers. After reading reviews I decided to give Meridian a call. Scott was happy to help even when I told him there were just a few items. He said the appraisal would be $30 per item unless an item was not worth the appraisal...he wasnt going to charge me more in appraisal fees than an item was worth. When I asked if I had to leave the items (which I was not going to do) he said he would accomplish the appraisal right there in my presence. We mad an appointment for that afternoon. Scott and Johnathan were down to earth, enthusiastic professional and very professional young men. I got an education about Diamond quality and though some of the jewelry I brought in was of sentimental value only the value was over $7,000 (wholesale) in total; a huge surprise. I never would have guessed that. I think had I taken it any where else I would not have received the attention or honesty shown at Meridian by Scott and Johnathan. Though I live 3.5 hours away; I will be making a trip down to have my partners jewelry appraised and recreated into something modern. There is fishing and there is catching. My experience with Meridian Jewelers was like catching on a beautiful day with calm seas and a fair tide. Thanks guys for restoring some of my confidence in my fellow man.

I am newly engaged and I was looking for a jeweler to recreate a ring design I had seen on YouTube. I had already received quotes from several well known Tampa Bay Jewelers when I came across Meridian Diamond with a five star rating. I spoke with Jonathan (one of the two brothers that own the company) and he assured me that they do ring design, so I made an appointment. Astonishingly, their price came in almost 40% lower than the other wholesale jewelers that had provided me quotes. I am so thrilled that I chose them. They were very professional and took care of everything from the computer design to the finished piece. They were very meticulous and ensured it was done right. I went to visit these guys in hopes of selling a diamond. Long story short, I bought a diamond from another jeweler that was extremely overgraded. Although I did not get the information I wanted to hear about my stone, I can say they were honest, professional, and didnt confuse anything with their evaluation of the diamond. They gave me very sound advice as to what action I should take in regards to my purchase. Days later, they reached out just to check in and made sure I got taken care of.
