Friendly and helpful staff. I got some work done on mi car and they were honest and helpful. I recommend mi daughter there since they did good on mi car. I went with her and we got it checked and priced. When dropped the car off the following day and picked it up after they finished, the price changed. It went up from the original price they explained to us. The communication could have been better on their end because we discussed the price thoroughly and out of nowhere its over $100 more. I nicely asked for clarification because I already had the money prepared for what they quoted me and it didnt really make sense to me at all because they could have simply said that when we first agreed upon the service and pricing. When I told them I would have to make payments, when I went up there they gave me a discount 🤔

Was directed here for an alignment after getting new tires at Discount Tire. Called them up, easily got an appointment on the calendar, showed up (was even a few minutes late), got in a bay, and was out in ~30 minutes. Got a full before and after report of the alignment and unlike other shops, the settings for toe and camber were adjusted to nominal rather than just accepting in spec readings. I will definitely be bringing my other vehicle here and recommend them to anyone else.

Great service and honest. Had an four wheel alignment performed at AAMCO after I got a new tire placement at a different shop due to unusual wear on the front, left side. AAMCO came back with the report, they explained only slight adjustments to the front was needed and all else was in the green. They took time to talk with me about what I noticed and what the tire mechanics noted. They deduced the unusual wear to one side was possibly an issue with the tire itself. The knowledge imparted along with their report allowed me to pursue a warranty on tire. AAMCO was honest and upfront, and gave me a good deal on the alignment.

I was referred to AAMCO to get my alignment done on my nissan. I called and Melissa answered the phone with the a very kind and upbeat tone and I made my appointment with her, she walked me thru times and dates very professionally. When I pulled in I did what I was instructed to on where to park and go inside the front office. I was greeted by Chad who was very nice and professional. He was chatting with customers and going over to the shop side to check on everyones vehicles and giving them updates. June was the one who took care of my alignment, but to my surprise he went beyond just doing that he also told me how much padding was left on my brake pads, and other things that needed to possibly be looked into in the future and things that looked good. Both Chad and June stayed over to check my engine light and to see why it was on. They didnt have to check on that but June didnt mind one bit to find out the reason. I recommend AAMCO to anyone needing any vehicle service done. I will be taking my vehicles there from now on! Well done AAMCO!!

I normally take my wife 1967 Ford Mustang when I don’t have time to work on it myself. The car has been serviced a couple times in past times we’ve been very happy. Recently, we had the valve cover gaskets/seals replaced and thermal housing hose replaced. I returned my vehicle a total of three times to address oil leaking. Old cars are funny acting most times, I commend the Aamco team for standing by there work, not getting frustrated, and completing my vehicle. Each time I spoke with Mike or Chris the customer service was 5 star and they didn’t stop until they got it right! The third time was a charm, thanks you guys!

My experience with AAMCO was Horrible and very disappointing especially being a woman looking for men in this line of work to be honest. The first time I took my car to them they were asked to do two things to my car and check one thing. They didn’t do what was asked of them for fixing the one thing they were asked to check. Also personal information in their system was wrong. I was asked to bring the car back for a second-review upon checking the car the second time they made the issue worse then it was which left me left me devastated and numb. My experience with this company and their service was the absolute worst Ive ever experienced. The initial repair was poor at best, and after having to take it back to them again and again with no real results, they squirmed out of their responsibility to back their warranty by finding a leak they said invalidated it. It seems logical that you have to fix it first in order to have something TO warranty! Highly recommend that you shop elsewhere because these guys are BS artists- even tried to BS someone who just plain knows better than what they are shoveling. Piss poor work, piss poor customer service and no desire to do anything but take your money- because they certainly dont know how to fix cars.

I brought my car to these guys a couple of times and have been happy with their work. My most recent visit was more frustrating. I brought my car in to have a leak fixed in my transmission. They did just that and I got my car back. They even helped me out on the price because they knew Im student. When I got my car back the exhaust was hanging down so far that it hits every bump and the transmission is now slipping between gears. I brought my car back and they said that its because my clutch is going bad. This is a big deal because they didnt do anything wrong. Its a big deal because they didnt tell me. There was a huge lack in communication. If they had told me before that my transmission needed rebuilt I could have taken care of it earlier and not spent 700 bucks on my transmission just to require 2,000 bucks later on. If you do business with them make sure that they tell you everything they find wrong with your car. Other than that they have very friendly service.

Im leaving my review here because this is the location I had to call while dealing with all this and even though I took my car to the lexington location 1st, it was moved and the new owners are now trying to correct a problem that they arent responsible for. I actually liked talking to Chris because he seemed knowledgeable and actually listened. My issue actually started with Mike. I originally called after hearing what sounded like a belt pop and my transmission began slipping. My husband brought it in for me and they inspected it saying a service bulletin suggested that it needed a valve body replaced and that there didnt appear to be any internal damage. Assuming a processional might know something I didnt, I agreed to have the work done. I picked up my car and was immediately having the exact same problems. I was told that the valve body was faulty because it could not be reprogrammed and they said it usually means that the transmission needs to be rebuilt when it continues to have issues like mine. Not happy that I just paid for 1 repair that didnt fix anything, I needed my car so I told them to go ahead when my husband thought they were saying they wouldnt charge more than $3800 total. I asked if I could get some form of transportation in the mean time and they offered a mere discount on a rental. I was told a few times that a rebuild is $3800 and that would include everything that is necessary but it wouldnt be more than $3800 because thats what it costs to replace it. So because of the month long process and the rebuild showing that I needed a belt, pulley system, and torch converter replaced, I got a discount that brought the rebuild from $4200, as was written on my receipt, to $2700 but I still paid the $1800 to have the value body replaced and everything cost me $4500, an extra $700 at the very least and Mike wants to argue about how it was necessary. He told me that the valve body probably went faulty due to the internal transmission issues when I went to pick up my car but now hes saying he cant work on could haves and if the transmission belt had popped then I wouldnt have heard it and it wouldnt have been drivable. All I know is that either the valve body that was 1st put in my car was faulty and caused the internal damage when they told me to take it on the interstate for a week, or the internal damage was the problem and they over looked it, misdiagnosed my car, and im paying more because of it and they wont reimburse that $700 or truely listen to me without demeaning me and interrupting me. It seems that $700 reimbursement would be a reasonable compromise instead of having me pay for a repair that didnt fix anything and couldve possibly been the reason I needed the transmission rebuild, especially one that was supposedly so extensive.

Called on a Saturday morning to make another appointment on the following Monday. I was told the repair would take no longer than 30 minutes plus another 45 for the alignment. Again, not a problem. I was also told the part was available for same day shipping. So I scheduled my appointment for 10:30am Monday and arrived on time. Heres where it gets bad. I sat there waiting TWO HOURS AND 45 MINUTES before they even pulled my car into the garage. Soon after the came to tell me they had the wrong part. Mike told me no just had a couple of bad leaks and an oil leak. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. I had them fix 2 trans leaks, one oil leak, tune up, oil change, and some other stuff. They did not lie to me or try to scam me for more money. They did the job in a timely manner and it was good. Mike and the owner explained to me what was going on and told me to drive it a week and bring it back to make sure the seals hold. (never in my life have I had such good customer service from a repair shop) 2 weeks later I was leaking trans fluid again but it wasnt because of the work they did. It was a different part, Mike told me the part cost 20 cents, they fixed it and refilled my trans fluid and didnt charge me a dime. I am floored! Flabergasted! Stunned! Worst place ever. I took my car in to have the transmission fixed. Two days took four. It wasnt fixed. They had service guys calling rather than managers who we spoke to in the beginning. The car was worse than when we took it in. The transmission was completely inoperable when we went back for the car and the battery was dead. The battery was fine when we took it in. Yes, we had to pay for a broken transmission and a dead battery. The guy that pulled it out couldnt get it in reverse and now it sits at the edge of the road. We are now out a downing charge and more money to have someone else fix it. The manager told my husband to come by today to discuss and he would be I the office at 8. He never showed up. We tried to do business locally and it backfired. Do not use this place ever!!!! I am so upset. Unprofessional, uncooperative, rude, and simply dont care about the customer.

For the past two years I have had extensive work completed to both of my vehicles at AAMCO. They are more than transmission specialists. They are full automotive specialists. Every concern brought up is addressed with understandable language of explanation and fair competitive pricing from Gary. They also provide an assessment of you need to get this done right away, you might want to get this done asap, and dont worry about it for now, but keep an eye on it informational advise without pressured fear selling tactics I have experienced at other shops. Scheduling service is sometimes challenging because they are usually very busy, but well worth the efforts to make an appointment. I would much rather wait for AAMCO to work on my vehicle than to go to any other shop. I recommend AAMCO for ALL your automotive needs. Once you try them you will understand why.

Please, please heed the reviews (including this one) and steer far, far away from this place. Like other reviewers, if I could give this company zero stars, I would. We brought our car to Eberts AAMCO after being given an estimate over the phone of $2,100 to $2,800 to replace our transmission. Another shop gave a similar quote, but we decided to choose Eberts because of its proximity to our home. After dropping off the vehicle, my husband received a call about one to two hours later. On the call, he was told that he would be charged $600 for the world to remove, inspect and reinstall the transmission. We decided to move forward given the reasonable estimate we had received. It was a day or so later when we received a call with the quote to fix our vehicle. It was over $3,200, significantly higher than the estimate to replace the transmission. This quote was to rebuild the transmission. When inquiring about replacing the transmission, my husband was told the cost would be much higher.Given that we were already down $600 with no actual work being done, we decided to stick with this company, despite the actual cost being $1,100 to $400 more than originally quoted. When the vehicle was done, I did express to the front desk at the time that I wasnt happy with the price I was paying, but it is what it is. I took the car home. About an hour or so later, I was looking over the receipt/work summary I had been given. Imagine my surprise when I saw a disclaimer on the invoice explaining that $450 (not $600) would be charged for the service of removing, inspecting and re-installing the transmission. Why would someone tell my husband this was $600, when the paperwork clearly says $450?Aside from that, imagine my shock when right below this, the actual amount charged for this service was over $900! Yes, despite the paperwork saying $450, we were told $600 over the phone and then charged over $300 than that price.I sent a private message on Facebook to the company with an image of the receipt (featured here) asking for an explanation. This message was sent on July 12. I received a message shortly after that stated the message would be passed along to someone else.I decided to go directly to the owner with my concerns. In my email, I explained the situation. I did not demand my money back or cause a scene. I simply asked for an explanation. The owner responded back by telling me that two employees had been added to the email thread and that I would receive an answer by the following Monday.Monday came and went with no response. The next few days were spent in a back-and-forth email exchange, with me stressing again and again I just wanted an explanation as to why we were charged more than the standard rate, and why the rate we were given over the phone was more than what their policy states. I continued to get the run around and was told that the two people that could provide answers were unable to get on a conference call with the owner to discuss the charges. Finally, I heard nothing for several days and sent a final email on July 23 stating that I had tried to work with the company before posting my review. I was overcharged and no one feels as though they owe me an explanation for why I was overcharged. Thats just outright dishonest, and I refuse to work with a company that would take advantage of a customer like this. As of this time, I have received no response from the company. In the email signature of the owner, there is a cell phone number. On July 25, my husband attempted at numerous times to reach the owner. He never received a response.I will NEVER use this company again, and I am making sure that this review is spread across the web and through my friends and family to make sure that they avoid a company that engages in deception and refuses to offer up answers for its customers. I am highly dissatisfied with this experience and would recommend that anyone reading this choose one of the other shops in the Greenville area over this one.

They don’t care about you only how much money they can get from you. They don’t call you to give you an update on your car you have to call. I had to call so much they started ignoring my phone calls so I had to drive 40 minutes from my house to their shop to get an update. When I got up there the lady working the office went out to the shop to talk to the owner to get an update and he pitched a fit. He was screaming and threw his shop rag. I had my son with me too and he saw the owner pitch a fit and didn’t understand why he was pitching a fit about my car. I was fed up and ended up getting my car and taking it to Bradshaw Cadillac who ended up being cheaper and treated me like a human being. How is a Cadillac dealership cheaper than Eberts? My car had grease all on the driver’s side door panel and all over the hood and doors. This isn’t a new issue though. They aligned my Nissan Titan a while back and got grease all in it as well. Some of my family have been coming to Eberts for years but will not return after my incident. I would take all of these reviews seriously before stepping foot into Eberts! I wish I would’ve read them!*******UPDATE*******************************************************Chris your response is a flat out lie. I know who you are as does my family. Horrible experience at Eberts AAMCO and I wish I had followed some of the other reviewers advice and stayed away from this place. They damaged my car and refused to pay for the damage they caused. And of course they were rude and unapologetic throughout the whole process. If you like incompetence and horrendous customer service then go here. If not, you may want to look elsewhere.

Had my car towed for them to look at and was told that I needed a transmission costing 2800 for a rebuilt one when I only needed some fluid and a leak fixed. They are NOT honest mechanics or maybe they just dont know what they are doing.

We will never go to Eberts Aamco ever again! These people took for extra days to fix a front oil seal...they said it would take 7 hours. They never called us once to let us know it would be another 4 days. If we wanted info, we had to call and ask for it. We left one voicemail per day after the promised date, and not one of the 4 voicemails were answered. When we did get them on the phone, we were told each time it was almost finished...4 hours later we would call again to be told they hadnt figured it out yet. My husband was finally fed up after being told all they had to do was test drive it earlier that day and went up there to wait on the car only to find out it was ready, sitting in the parking lot & NO One had called to tell either of us it was ready. My son then drove the car 2 miles and it stopped!!! Japanese Auto towed it to their shop, will check Eberts work and repair whatever they screwed up & what made it stop for $30 less per hour in labor!! If you would like an aggravating, time-comsuming experience with expensive, shotty work, the please go to Eberts. Thats what we got!Update***we received a call this morning from Japanese Auto Specialists to let us know the other 2 seals Eberts said needed replacing looked brand new with no leaks. Glad we didnt pay them to repair that! If Eberts had test-driven the car as they claim it would have shut off because the distributor needed replacing, and Japanese Auto cant tell if there is still an oil leak from the seal Eberts did replace because it may just be oil dripping of another part...the engine is far too filthy to tell where it is coming from! 😠 Also...Eberts had to remove & replace belts & the water pump in order to replace the front seal. Well, the water pump is leaking & the belts are dry & old, so they put a leaking pump & dry-rotted belts back on the car when they repaired the front seal. What...did they want to be sure I would have to come back for further repairs?? We basically paid these guys over $600 for absolutely nothing but lies!! So disgusted!!First

Lower then POOR....Lets say SCUM!!!! Sons deaf GF took car in because she noticed low oil weekly. Aamco checked car for oil leak, in their words We had car idle over paper for 10 min, no oil leak. She DID have an oil leak, gasket leaking!! Found out after oil leaked into spark plug holes and ruined engine, that her car is notorious for gasket leaking. AND 3 other mechanics said the correct way to check for oil leaks is to drive car too and then check gaskets, they never did!! Aamco claimed they did NOTHING wrong...DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!!!!

We bought a used automobile from a private owner. Right after driving the vehicle about 160 miles the check engine light came on. Following an additional 55 miles the EPC light came on. I decided to go to a auto repair business near to my house in Greenville and was informed it is $100.00 simply just to take a look. Had been informed it could possibly be anyplace from 200-500 bucks because of the program code it was giving. I was crazy with the expense. Various co-workers told me about Eberts company his truthfulness and how delighted they were with his work not to mention his dependability. Presently I discovered for my self how great they are. I dropped the vehicle off at 8 am and left my phone number so Chris would phone me with the consensus. It was lunch break time no call from him so I called him. Chris explained it was in fact a sensor that was unhitched they simply hooked it back up and all of the warning lights went off . I was so pleased I could not believe it. I have given Eberts business number out to several other co employees in my division and I will keep on to spreading the word about Eberts Aamco.

Terrible experience, told me that at 2:30 pm scheduled time the car would be ready to be serviced, by 3:30 it was just entering service, alignment could not be done due to some parts that were needed to be replaced but they still did it without letting me know that it could not be done yet, and charged me, also did not correctly specified repairs, doing estimates for outrages high prices for parts that usually cost 80% less than what they told me they were, overall bad, wasted more than 2 hours on something for nothing, Alignment did not work!

I was very disappointed by the way I was treated by the service men at this station. They took me for a fool I believe because I am elderly and a woman. I had my car repaired by another shop for hundreds of dollars less than what the aamco people quoted me. Plainly unkind.
