The team at the South Jordan store rocks! Out of 5 different Walmarts that I called, South Jordan had staff available to put tires on my vehicle. When I got there, I needed additional work done. They were professional and got the job done quickly. They were super nice and great to work with. I will absolutely be going back. They were definitely my heroes that day!

We had a flat tire so we went Walmart Auto in Taylorsville, Utah they broke the lug nut off on the axle, and it completely destroyed our car. Had to take it to a dealership the mechanic said he had seen nothing like it and he has been working on cars his whole life. Meanwhile we are moving out of the country trying to eat things taking care of. Couple of weeks later we haven’t been able to get to get a hold of claim services. So we have been paying for it ALL repairs out of pocket. We have called the claim services and have been on hold for several hours. Sent emails everyday and no response. Very frustrated and feeling we can’t trust Walmart every again with our cars and business.

They were close to closing and they still got me in for an oil change! The staff was very accommodating and they got my car done qay quicker than I thought they would.

Not clear where the entrance is to bring my car for an oil change. No employees ever came out to assist. After waiting a while I had to walk up to the garage to ask for help (there were no cars ahead of me to cause a wait). Took 1.5 hours for an oil change. Offered text updates. Finally got one text after an hour that they just started on my car (again, with no one ahead of me). Def not my favorite, will go to other stores for an oil change in the future.

I understand staffing issues around the US right now. However, the customer service here was atrocious, even for Walmart standards. Only writing this review because it left sour taste in my families mouth.

Auto department is permanently closed. I called before driving a fair distance from other location of where I purchased tires. Shows as open and attendant on phone confirmed its actively working. Thumbs down

We ordered tires online and had them shipped to the store. 3 were delivered 1 was delayed. Went down to pick up the 3 tires and was told we could leave them there since we were doing the install there also. A week later the tire shows delivered but processing. Went down on memorial day to have them put on and now they cant find any of our tires. We Went to the store pick up area inside and was told we needed to go to the grocery pick up area outside. Called the number and they found the tires but only had 3. They said they had no idea where to begin looking for the 4th. They gave me the customer service number for Walmart.Com who confirmed the tire had been delivered. Called grocery pick up again and they finally found the tire about 30 minutes later. Went to the auto center and their lift was broken. Went to the jordan landing location and they couldnt get the caps off. 4 hours later we picked the truck up, no tires had been put on. Went to Victors tires and they put them on with no issues.

Absolutely awful. They wasted hours of my time and lied about the level of my tires to avoid doing work. I took it over to another tire shop and had to get my vehicle serviced there.I originally purchased my tires at Walmart due to their warranty, but the service has been so terrible that I will never do that again.

I came in well after opening, and it still took someone 10 minutes to come see me at the counter. Then I had to bring my car around the store to their bay doors and drop my car off then I had to walk with my infant daughter in her car seat all the way back around the building to wait 1.5 hours for a patch job on one tire. There was no other person in front of me, no other work to get done it seems but all three employees seemed to all make up some reason that they needed to be doing anything other than fixing my tire. This store is dirty, inconvenient, and full of apathetic employees.

Customer service is terribleI arrived to get new tires on my Jeep. The greeter walked up to my vehicle and was very nice, professional, and quick. He helped me determine the tires I needed. He said it would be an hour to an hour and a half. They pulled my vehicle into the one of the bays, I went inside wallyworld to pass the time while they put new tires on.2 and a half hours later, with no word on the progress or any issues they ran into, the guy who greeted me was coming back from his break, and noticed I was still there waiting. He went to find what was happening, and walked back in with my keys. Turns out that an hour after they pulled my vehicle in, they started working on it. And it had been done for 30 min, but no one bothered to tell me.I paid the money, went out to my vehicle and found the tire low pressure light on. I went straight to a gas station and found that 3 of my tires were at 33psi, the fourth tire was at 45psi. All 4 are suppose to be at 40psi per the vehicle manufacturer. I balanced the pressure and the light turned off. I then noticed how dirty my rims were, now since it was wallyworld, I didnt expect them to actually clean my rims, but all the grime I saw was from the greasy hands of the tire techs. See picture

I went auto care for flit tire and they said we can not fix it. I told them just to add air and I will to different store. They said okay. BUT THEY DID NT NOTHING.

I had a really Bad experience in this location went to buy 2 new tires and get them installed. It took them over 2 hours to install them I dont know if they had new trainees or is just the time to takes to replace 2 tires . I been to a different tire shops and it takes less than 60 minutes to do all 4 tires

I usually enter through the side entrance, I enter to be told by an employee that I had to enter through the main entrance, which is fine. I left my car parked by the tire center cause I figured they would need it there to work on. I walked around the entire building, entered at the front, walked all the way to the back just to be told by the same employee that they were closed. They couldnt have told me that when I entered the first time? So then when I try to exit on the side close to where my car is, they wouldnt let me exit, so I had to walk all the way around the building again. Needless to say, I will not be coming back for the service I needed. Such a power trip. So completely out of touch with customers. Absolutely ridiculous. Also the employee wasn’t even wearing his mask over his nose and mouth.

I made an appointment to install new tires. The service took 2 hour and 45 minutes. Not to mention ordering the tires was the biggest pain!! They refused to ship the tires to the store where they were being installed, despite them promoting sending the tires to the store directly.

Went to this auto center to get a set of tires. There turned out to be an issue with all the tires not being available. The manager went to the mdvale store, got more tires, and they were put on quickly. Thanks, Brian. Good job!!

This is the best Walmart auto center I have been to. The auto worker at front desk- Suzy, and the mechanic workers are super nice and gave great recommendations and advice on purchasing. They helped me save money and pick better windshield wipers and 4 seasons tires.Most of all, the workers delayed their time to get off work to help me have my tires change since a large snowstorm is coming. I really appreciate their efforts and help! Their customer service is very good. I could always see their smiles. :)

I come here to buy my engine oil, and thats it. I would never take my car to their service center to have anything done to it. To me, taking your car here would be like going to Red Lobster, and asking for a hamburger. Im giving them 4 stars, because they have the lowest price on oil.

Took 20 minutes for someone to take my keys.1. Go inside, tell them I need tires.2. Employee does stuff on the computer and gives me a price.3. I accept and then Im told to go around back with my car..4. I move my car and wait 15 minutes for 1 guy to do the same thing that the other employee did. All the while another employee is standing around doing nothing.5. Give the keys to my car and then ask how long it will take. The response is today

I went in for a tire change. Before handing over my keys I asked how long it was going to take and they responded with 1.5 hours. After sitting in their “waiting” room (it’s a bench between their tire racks) for 3 hours i decided to go outside and lo and behold my car had not moved from their waiting lot. I peaked inside the shop and the mechanics were standing around the center bay laughing and doing no work.Sure the prices are great but the service? You wont find a place where your time is more wasted. Go Somewhere else!!!

What a joke! This location is the worst out of the valley. No one to help you and if they are able to service dont expect it to be quick. Store manage should fire all these people.Save your time and money go to the Jordan Landing Walmart. That store is managed very well and you get great service.

The employees were very nice and helpful. I brought in trailer wheels and bought new tires. Their estimate on when the job would be complete was accurate. Tires were also marked down from the original price. Very helpful and nice staff.

Needed new tires on the front of my car but was unaware with AWD I had to get 4 instead of just the 2. I really appreciate the fact that the guys in the tire shop informed me that it would be wise to change all 4 and WHY instead of just telling me thats what I had to do with no explanation. It took a while because they were very busy but I was given a great service so very worth the wait.Keep up the good work!

The employee Shaylynn (incorrect spelling) is the worst thing to ever happen to this place. Not only is she rude, she is very unprofessional, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she was drunk, and or on drugs. Word of advice, if you work customer service, the customer is always right. You don’t sit and argue with a customer, you just made yourself and the company look extremely bad. If I were Walmart, I would honestly look into letting this woman go because she honestly has no customer service skills. 10/10 would highly recommend NOT going here.

It was a joke these guys had me wait for 2 hrs then pulled my car in to replace a tire and wouldnt just replace one because of it being a all wheel drive vehicle cool but they didnt bother to call me it took me going to the bay window for them to denie me. Stopped for a quick oil change and they were able to fix our back light. Very quick and got the job done....very pleased! And while u wait u can walk around Walmart!

I went in for two new tires and a oil change when they open in the morning, I have to wait all day up to 4:30 pm, that when they got it done. It was on the lift and the guy that was working on my vehicle moved really slowly like the animal from zootopia movie. If you are in a rush dont go there.

Was told it would be a 1.5 hour wait and it wasnt very busy. Ended up waiting over 5.5 HOURS!!, anyone trapped in a Walmart that long will go insane. On top of that they charged $125 to get my tires mounted, pretty expensive if you ask me. No tpms or anything either, just mount and balance. Would rather take my car anywhere but here!!

Awful. Leon was at the counter when I entered helping a customer. My car was on a tow truck with a flat tire. Leon explained to both myself and the tow driver there was an open stall. Leon was going back and forth from the computer to the back where cars are worked on. After Jimmy the tow guy left, now I am being told it will be a 2 and half hour wait. The tire cost Leon said $74.00 plus $12 to balance and Tax will be approx $100. The worse Wal-Mart experience I have ever had.

The customer service at this location is terrible. The staff are slow and quite unknowledgeable of their own processes. I once went in for an oil change, I was the first person there first thing in the morning, and somehow I still had to wait 2 hours and 45 minutes for them to finish a simple oil change. I gave them a second chance when I bought tires through the Walmart app, I was in the store shopping for other items and decided to drop in to make an appointment to put on the tires, and just making the appointment took the staff over 35 minutes To help me make an appointment, WTF! The only thing that saves this place is Walmarts cheap prices, but you get what you pay for.

Thought I would give it a chance despite the bad reviews. Been waiting and calling for ten minutes. It’s 7:40am on a Saturday. Thought I could beat the crowd and get quick service. Couldn’t get anyone. I have a baby in the car with me. No one has time for walmart’s shenanigans today. I’d rather pay an extra $20 for quicker service and people who answer the phone at the place down the street.I’ve been waiting here long enough to get upset, write this review, and no one has answered the phone or came to give me service. I’m out. ✌🏾. Good luck people.

I give Walmart auto care center a -5 stars!! I was there waiting for 3 hours, in the meantime nothing was getting done on my car. I had my two year old son with me who was tired and hungry after waiting for so long and for what?? I cant say how angry and unsatisfied I am with Walmart. Very unhappy. Never go to the auto shop at Walmart.

Clown circus would be giving this place too much credit. Tried to get 4 tires put on here and was turned away cause they said they didn’t have time but there bays are almost completely empty but plenty of cars waiting. Go back the next day and they tell me that there’s at least a few hours to wait and bays sitting almost completely empty again. The employees here walk around and do nothing like they have some kicked back government job. I ended up just picking up my tires that I ordered through Walmart and took my business elsewhere. If this place wasn’t connected to Walmart store it would fail quickly. Will never go there again. 0 stars here.

So I brought in my flat tire and waited for a call for two hours. I finally drove back to see what was going on and they said they would get started right away. Ten minutes later they said it was un-repairable cause of the angle the nail went in at. But they could sell me a new one. I said no thank you and took it to jiffy lube. They looked at it for maybe four seconds and said oh this is definitely repairable. Walmart either has the worst mechanics, or they are just con men trying to up sale you. Also instead a ten dollar fee at Walmart, jiffy lube did it for free! Picture of the epic nail below.

Bryan in the automotive center helped me with a flat I got in the parking lot. He immediately got it fixed and not only that !!!! He fixed my tire pressure monitoring system for less than $40 when Ken Garff quoated me $800. I want everyone that reads this review to read this well: I u have a problem with ur car, truck, or SUV, take it to Bryan and tell him hutch sent ya. They are fast, reliable, honest, best freaking automotive techs I have ever met.!!!!

Told us they were open until 5. My wife worked her schedule around to leave work early and make it there by 5:00. She got there at 4:15 and they said they don’t take new customers after 4:00. DON’T TELL PEOPLE YOU CLOSE AT 5:00 WHEN YOU ACTUALLY CLOSE AT 4:00.Also, there’s a Burt Brothers that’s fairly close by. They close at 6, and she called over and they confirmed that they can take her. Y’all should go to Burt Brothers instead.

The staff was very nice and they are open on Sunday. The only problem I had was it took 3 1/2 hours to mount and balance 2 tires when I was the only customer there. Its a minor inconvenience when your cords are showing and you need tires on a Sunday morning.

I walk in to hear the cashier tell a man that she couldnt do something for him told him to go to customer service when he walked away I heard her say she just didnt want to do it and laughed about it then made about five people just stand there while she did the same just telling everyone that she couldnt help anyone.

My 19 year old daughter purchased new tires at the black Friday sale she came back the following 2 days to get these tires put on her car. The auto center does not make appointments however my kid called to verify the shop could do the work and was told to come on in there is no one here.She left he job early both days only to end up waiting more than an hour each day . the employees told her to comeback the next day however she cannot continue to drive on her bad tires or take time off of work. I called and spoke to the gentleman who works in the department after pleading with him to find a place to do my childs car, he finally made the decision to get her car done that night. While the correct thing to do would have acknowledged the current waiting customers and just finish the jobs of the customers in line. I feel the customer service at the Walmarts in my area have had some improvement but then there is a young pregnant girl quietly waiting and continued to come back day after day for tires . I am glad the store helped her.

Great service! I went for an oil change. It takes longer than other places like Jiffy Lube, but only because they have a huge crowd of people trying to get REAL cheap oil change. After I got the oil change done, the woman helped me look at a problem I had with my windshield wiper resvoir and recommend a place where I could get it fixed. She totally went out of her way to help. I’ll come back a few thousand miles from now.

Had my battery swapped out here. Two weeks later the bolt holding the cables onto the battery terminals wiggled loose to the point it couldnt make contact, keeping my van from starting, and forcing me to call a tow. Dont trust these guys with anything you cant check yourself. If they can find a way to screw up installing a battery, I shudder to think how theyd fare on a job that actually took skill...

Was super super super slow. It took them 4 hours to do an oil change for us. But other than that it was fine

Waited 4 hours for them to change a turn signal to be told they couldn’t do it. They claimed to have tried every tool they have, and they couldn’t get the light off. Came back to a car that had screws missing in the trunk, and they had damaged the hard cover that goes over the spare tire. Do not trust this Walmart with your car. I’ll be getting in contact with the management to pay for the damage done. I wasted 4 hours, still need to get my turn signal changed, and now I have damage to my car. Unacceptable.

Good quality products done right wouldve gave 5 stars but could be quicker with there work

They told me it would be about an hour and a half wait to have my tires balanced, add fuel injector fluid and do a pre-trip inspection. it took over 3 hours and the lady was rude, no one discussed the inspection with me, she just handed me my keys and receipt. the tire pressure was at 22 psi when i left which was the worst part! I was too tired from waiting and disgusted to go back and complain.

I drove up to get some tires put on that I ordered. I saw a line of cars so I knew Id have to wait a minute. But as Im in my car waiting for the attendant to put me in the queue, no one showed up the 10 minutes I was waiting. The crew on duty ignored me, and helped a guy who drove directly to the gate, ignoring the rows of cars ahead of them. If I could rate 0 stars, I would, because I wasnt helped at all.

Definitely the worst. They took the car that had low pressure to see what was wrong. The lady who took the car said it would be 30 minutes tops. They informed us the wire was shown, and it wouldnt be fixed or replaced since they didnt have the tires an HOUR AND A HALF later they gave back the car after just putting back on the tire. They didnt reccomend or offer anything other then a $10 fuel boost offer.

Walmart auto care is priced right and descent workers. Youll just need patience to go through their process.

Worst customer service ever. Unfriendly employees. More often than not, I have been turned away for simple auto services when they were still going to be open for several more hours. They really dont care about you, your car, or your business and they are pretty transparent about that. Never taking my car there ever again.

Terrible service. Looks extremely unorganized and understaffed. So I do feel bad for the employees. The store had tires all over the place in disarray which is actually a liability concern. It took over 4 hours to put tires on my truck. I was 3rd in line and they told me 2 hours. Awful customer service girl at the desk. It’s worth a little extra money to go somewhere else.

I dont usually go to WallMart, but when I do its because I expect to get something cheaper there.They generally have the same products as other places, just a little more reasonably priced.Like all WallMart locations, you have to put up with some strange people.

The worst service I’ve ever had. Was there for over THREE hours for a simple oil change on a slow night. Employees had no sense of urgency. They also overcharged me for the oil change. Avoid this location at all cost!

Helped me out of a bind and got me back on the road without trying to upsell me on things I cannot afford.

Came in at 5:30 pm and was told that since they closed at 6pm, they couldnt take me in to change my oil(should be noted as well, there was only one car in the service bay and they where getting their tires done). If thats actually your policy, than change your hours of availibilty for services. Completely unprofessional and frustrating, especially considering an oil change takes about 20 minutes max at other shops.I shouldve read the other reviews and seen that this is extremly common for this location. What a joke of a business. Hopefully Wal-Mart management steps in soon and overhauls the entire department.

Had to go to handle a road hazard warranty. They wouldnt take the time to order a part. Had to go to different tire store to pull off the replaced tire and put in a new part.

Took one tire in to have it replaced. Told them the valve needs to be replaced as well. They said 2 hours. So we came back 3 hours later expecting it to be done. Still was sitting there. The manager came back and took it. They then asked if I wanted it put on the car. When I said I told them yes when I dropped it off they said it would be another hour. Told them just to fix it. They then said they cant because of the valve. I said I told you when I dropped it off it needs the valve replaced.

This Wal-Mart is dirty and over crowded... 2 maybe 3 checkout lines open.. And the auto care center shelves are bare...

Normally there isnt a significant wait time here. You shouldnt expect much from walmart and you pretty much get what you paid for, most of the times.This is a good place to visit only if youre running out of time, in my opinion.

It was close to closing time and they still got my tire repaired, and they did it quick! Thanks to these guys they saved me from buying another tire from somewhere else.

This is a joke, change oil here can take at least two hours and on a slow hour. There was just a car a head of me. 15 minutes per car should be enough. I have always taken my car to Walmart auto care to change oil, by far this is the slowest service. I tried this store only because its the closest to my house. I guess Ill never come back again.

I bought in my FJ cruiser on Sunday for a flat tire that needed patching. Like I said, on Sunday whereas most are closed. Walmart was only option at the time. Three hours wait, I received a text that nothing was done about it. They couldn’t patch it and offered that I buy new tire.My spare tire in the back has FJ designed cover, which was taken out and placed inside my car, in a bag. They said the crew couldn’t put it back on. By time I got to home to put the cover back on, it was damaged. It was clearly ripped out. Not only the crew doesn’t know how to put cover back on, they can’t take it out to begin with. Todat I went to another tire shop, they patched my tire for $16 within less half hour. Pathetic.

They put washer fluid in my hydraulic suspension Reservoir!I saved 20 on the oil chance and spent $2500.00 to repair the Lexus LX470 suspension.Walmart denied the claim stating I could not prove they caused the damage and their comprehensive security camera footage was mysteriously erased showing no images of my vehicle being serviced.5 rotten tomatoes ...boo...VERY BAD SERVICE.

Third Walmart in the area Iv been to that couldnt do any tire services. Dont know if its they are understaffed or what. Dont bother trying to go after 4 pm unless you just need an oil change.
