TAKOYAKI. If youve never tried it before, THIS IS THE PLACE! I was ecstatic to see it on their menu, one of my all-time favorite Japanese foods that Ive only seen in one or two other places outside of Japan and Mochi Fresh did it RIGHT! They had all the authentic toppings served hot and fresh that took me back to my favorite memories in Hokkaido. Coupled with their Mango Boba and Mango Smoothies, this place blew my expectations out of the water! Staff were friendly and provided quick service during a busy time of the night. Absolutely no complaints and Id recommend anyone try it out for themselves!!!

Yesterday 8/12/21 was the first time that I had tried mochi, and it was one the best choices I made all day. Even though workers dont speak perfect English they helped me choose a drink that I would like, so I got 2 different drinks in case I didnt like 1. I finished both and when in the area I will definitely go back for more.

When I first found this place I didn’t know how to think about it because homemade boba is something I never heard of before but I gotta say once I tried it. It’s super delicious with different flavor of boba and the atmosphere at this place is so nice and relaxing. Every time I go here I gotta get a picture with their mascot because it’s so adorable. Overall customer service was good. Very nice and friendly people. Gotta say the best boba place in Tempe!!

The takoyaki is very tasty and highly recommended. The place is clean and nice. The strawberry bubble milk is recommended as well. If you want non dairy then try Mango green tea. Their bobba is soft and fresh. For this first time experience i give it a 5 star.

All time favorite Boba Tea shop.The quality of the tea and juices they use makes for incredible flavors and blends. I usually am not fond of the cheese foam offered by some boba places, but theirs is pretty good (says a lot coming from someone that doesnt care much for it).The freshly made boba, offered in a variety of flavors, are a bit softer than most, so they dont have the overly chewy texture many people dislike.The takoyaki is incredibly well made. The octopus is still tender instead of rubbery, the batter is well seasoned, and the sauce is flavorful and rich.Give this place a try. Even if you dont like boba, youre bound to find something you enjoy.

Love coming here. My favorite boba place since 2019. This is the only place that has authentic boba and MOCHI unlike other places that are too Americanized or too sweet and too expensive. MOCHI fresh has the best drinks that has no artificial flavor or food coloring or whipped cream. I love how you can ask for no ice in the drinks and have multiple options of dairy products or dairy free. And especially sugar %. They are so considerate and helpful. The staff is amazing and so it the owner. Very friendly and family oriented. I love when they do events! Helping other small businesses 🤍 love mochi fresh and happy to drink their strawberry boba with no ice 🤍 let’s me enjoy and savor the flavor of fresh strawberries. And the pan fried gyozas VERY MUCH 5 star meal!

Mochi Fresh is a must-try for boba & bubble tea lovers! My favorite is the Strawberry Bubble Milk. They are reasonably priced and I like the store atmosphere. They of course have mochi, as well as some other sweet & savory food items on the menu.

First time going there yesterday and we loved it. Indoors is nice and cool. Marvelous interior design aswell . I recommend trying the signature mix fruit tea, it’s really delicious. A+

I’ve heard positive things about this boba shop so I was excited to try it! The shop seemed very clean and their decor is unique and cute. I’m sure it was (and will be) a nice place to sit and enjoy your boba.My experiences with wait times at other boba shops has always been a positive and quick process...that is until I came here. I waited at least 20 minutes for my single drink with several employees working and only two other people waiting. I asked the cashier about it and (from what I could understand) it sounded like she said they only call drinks in number order. So if your drink is #3 and #1 or #2 haven’t been made then they leave your drink to sit there and get watered down until the previous two are done. I’ve never heard of anything like this. Especially in a small space with limited places for social distancing during a pandemic. You’d think these factors alone would make them modify that process! Because of it though, people continued to pile in to wait around even sitting on the floors because of the lack of open chairs. During my conversation with the cashier I also found out my drink had been done and I was apparently waiting who knows how long just for other people’s drinks to be made. 🙄As for my tea I thought the boba was very flavorful and soft. I mostly enjoyed the tea as well. Why mostly you may ask? Well because it became very watered down from sitting on their counter while those other drinks were being completed. 🤦🏻‍♀️Lastly, I didn’t appreciate not being told that they charged extra to use cards under $10. Although it was only 25 cents, for me, it’s the principle that the cashier didn’t disclose this. I apparently missed the two small signs while I was hurrying to check out as a line was forming. Had I known this I would have just used cash. I don’t see myself returning after this disappointing experience.

I always go here to get my favorite Watermelon Smoothie and Strawberry Smoothie. The strawberry boba in the watermelon smoothie is so good it’ll make you cry🥲❤️. Don’t forget to come in Mondays to get double stamps!

This shop was really good! I have had a lot of boba in my lifetime, and this place had quality tea and a variety of drink options. The house made boba balls have nice texture and satisfactory amount of chewiness. It’s unique that they are flavored as well. The workers were extremely kind and helpful. Best boba shop I have been to in az. The boba is firm and never soggy. So far I have tried the Signature Milk Tea, Matcha Bubble Milk, Takoyaki, and Mont Blanc Cake. All have been very delicious. The Signature Milk Tea and takoyaki are my favorites from here. They have a loyalty card stamp card and I almost have enough stamps for a free large boba! :D

Since it opened up and I came across it one day, Ive gone back to this shop soooo many times!! Their boba seriously beats out any other place Ive been and the freshness of their ingredients is top notch! My goal is to try everything on the menu and Ive not disliked anything yet! Its all super delicious! The staff and owner are also so nice and they remember you when you come in! You can tell they are passionate about what they do with the way the drinks are explained and the enthusiasm they habe over the experience of it. Ive taken several friends in and they also love it. Its honestly kind of addicting because its so delicious and refreshing! 10/10 would recommend! I also love the clean and fun/cute aesthetic in the shop 💙 oh! They also have soy options for the milk! Which is great for being lactose intolerant, like me!

Fresh tea, local milk, milk alternatives (coconut milk/soy milk for us lactose intolerants) and they make their boba fresh! They also do not use any syrups or powders found at other boba places. A lot of the drinks I’ve tried are sweetened with the actual fruit (mango, strawberry, banana, grapefruit, etc.).They are located in the same plaza as Cheba Hut. Great menu selection and their staff is so nice so if you need any recommendations on drinks, ask them! Between my fiancé and I, we have tried the Strawberry Bubble milk tea, Banana Bubble milk tea, Black Sesame Bubble milk tea (fri-sun only), Matcha Bubble milk tea, Grapefruit Green tea, Coconut milk tea and the Fancy milk tea. Come on! They are all SO good!! Not overly sweet but you can always adjust the sweetness and ice levels.They have a freezer of mochi ice cream (to the right of the register)! I usually get 4 to get a variety of flavors. The matcha and black sesame are my favorite. Use the tongs and pick your own. I ordered the Signature Milk Tea and it was very refreshing. They use a high quality tea with fresh milk and handmade boba. The boba is flavored and adds a little sweetness to the drink. I really enjoyed and will return to try some other beverages.

This is hands down the best bubble tea place to go in all of Arizona. I like this place so much that I would like to throw some of my money behind these operators and get them to open in downtown Phoenix as well as downtown Flagstaff. I travel around the world and bubble tea is my drink of choice and Ive been around Asia and London and New York where you will usually find some of the best bubble tea and this is just as good as anywhere else in the world if not better! I would love to see a salted foam topping and thats about it everything else was perfect perfect perfect!

This is our new favorite boba stop in the Tempe area. The menu is large, fun, and inviting. Service is friendly, and also pretty quick in our experience. The mango fruit tea with cheese foam is one of the best boba drinks I’ve had in recent memory. Their boba is house made and it shows, with a better flavor and texture than usual. I would definitely recommend Mochi Fresh to anyone looking for a fun drink!

First time here and its so good!! I had the cookie milk tea ( I believe thats what it was called) service was great fast and very welcoming even though we walked in just a few minutes before closing. Holy moly, i’ve tried bobas quite literally all over the world but this is different level drinks. the fresh boba themselves are amazing, the texture, chewiness, and freshness. the drinks taste very natural, perfectly creamy and not too sweet. i can’t believe i’ve ignored this place for too long just driving by past it. i now have my new go to boba place even if it’s quite a ways from where i live.

Their menu includes extensive tea options alongside a variety of mochi ice cream flavors (favorites: mango or black sesame) along with a handful of other desserts and snacks. I absolutely love coming to Mochi Fresh! Im typically not a boba fan, but the way they make their boba is actually delicious. The way they make their mochi makes it to where I cannot eat it from the grocery store anymore because they make it so fresh and authentically. We were craving boba and suddenly BAM Mochi Fresh was there!! Super nice location and service was quick! Im not usually a fan of the boba balls itself, but this drink changed my mind completely! Super good, slightly tart and sweet but very yummy! The air conditioning was out, but there were signs up letting us know beforehand, AND it was accommodated with fans blowing around to keep everyone comfy! Very considerate! Also the little characters are very adorable! Cant wait to go back!

First time my son and I have been in and got the brown sugar milk tea and Oreo milk tea, and an order of takoyaki (which was hotter than the sun temperature-wise but quite tasty). Overall we enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back to try more flavors!

I’ve had boba at sooo many other places in the valley and hands down Mochi Fresh is my absolute favorite. The boba is always cooked perfectly and nobody does flavored boba like they do. The owner is so friendly and remembered my face despite wearing masks. The signature milk tea is my favorite! I’ve also tried their fresh mochi (divine! So soft and melt-in-your-mouth) and gyoza (delicious!).

Yo I saw this spot on Insta and had to make my way down there. So far the only spot I found with takoyaki. Im not one for Bonito flakes theyre a little strong for me but the takoyaki itself was outstanding. I also ordered six piece of gyoza and that was fire son! There are so many amazing bubble teas and Mochi ice cream so I am going to come back and definitely try some more items on the menu starting with that delicious strawberry looking bubble milk tea thing. Definitely recommend this spot 10 out of 10 go check it out now

The signature milk tea is watery.. tea flavor and milk flavor are both very thin. Boba is not very chewy. The gyoza is ok.

Hands down the best BOBA tea in all of Arizona. I get the Oreo flavor every time I go and I am literally obsessed. Not too sweet, best boba texture, natural taste, and refreshing goodness in your mouth. You wont be disappointed. :)
