Olin Mott is a dependable and efficient shop for any and all of your auto needs. I needed two new special order tires that were put on quickly and reasonable priced.Mark and Yas are super nice and the customer service was amazing. They provided updates and you can see that everyone is working hard. I feel like I can trust my car in their more than capable hands. Theres even free coffee (and its fresh!)There is a small service fee for cards that is clearly labeled and seems to be an industry standard since the card companies charge fees to the businesses. If that is an issue, use cash instead 😊Would definitely recommend Olin Mott to friends and family! 10/10

I came in with an issue With my car and it was resolved the same day even though They were very busy. The mechanics are extremely accommodating and the work they did on my car was pristine. None of their workers own up to their bad jobs, I had wheels and tires installed that I spent 3k for and I asked specifically to not scratch them and there’s a chip of powder coat missing from my wheel and they still keep denying it! So don’t expect these people to help by any means, they are just selfish people who can’t do any job right. Just a big group of ignorant bums😁

We come back to this store as much as we need to because the guys who work here are fantastic and super friendly. I got safe rides home and back again by a really great employee, Alex. My AC got fixed by a great mechanic named Mike. The store manager Yaz and the other front desk employee Mark made sure I knew what was going on with my car and got everything fixed quicker than I expected - they got me into the shop immediately. The lobby was clean and the environment was very professional. I highly recommend this location and service.

I feel so special when I come to this location but come to find out Yaz treats everyone like this and he’s just an amazing manager! Temple Terrace is the most professional and courteous location so I’ll drive out of my way just for this level of service and care!

I went after taking a poll on Temple Terrace Neighborhood Group page on Facebook. Many people recommended it. I asked the manager the price of a oil change and it was very reasonable. Also I had a low pressure for a tire light on. He checked all my tires and added air to the low one. He was very friendly and helpful. I told him about the poll and I need a local mechanic if something happens. I told him I moved to TT in Jan and a chain shop down the street tried to charge me $80 for an oil change. I used to use them in Riverview and were much cheaper so thats why I did the poll. Olin Mott has my business now.

Came in early on Saturday after having a flat Friday night. The great Lady working the register was there to help let me tell you. The tire tech came in, pulled a freaking rock outta my tire and patched it up. Back on the road in an hour. I had a great experience at this tire shop.

She explained everything and showed me on the car.My dealership had already informed me some time ago, about needed tires, but at the dealership it’s expensive.The Olin Mott mechanic did bring up the suggestion of replacing the 4 tires, when I came into their shop today for a nail in one tire.Jessie brought it to my attention and presented me with an offer I couldn’t refuse for 4 new tires.They were pleasant to deal with, professional and everything completed in a timely fashion.I don’t usually write reviews, but I’d like to continue using Olin Mott rather than dealership moving forward......time will tell.

I have lived in Temple Terrace for more than 30 years and for most of that time, I have considered Olin Mott my go-to store for tires, having bought at least 3 sets of Michelin tires there, and would have given them 5 stars. All that changed last Wednesday. Long story short, I went in for a tire repair. I was told by Yasmany Yas Almanza that there would be a wait. I expected as much so close to the holidays and elected to come back in one hour. Still had to wait another 45 minutes, but frankly thats a minor annoyance. When the repair was complete I stood at the counter to pay the bill. I noticed a sign saying there would be a 3% surcharge added to any invoice paid by a credit or debit card. I pointed out (politely, at this point but that would soon change) that virtually no one still adds surcharges these days because so few people pay with cash.At this point, any employee with more than 3 minutes worth of customer service training would have responded with an empathetic comment like,yeah, I hate that I have to charge that but they tell us we have to. That would have defused the situation and ended the discussion. But instead Yas decided that by complaining about a company policy, I was insulting him personally. His reply was, well, we do. It was delivered with a smug, condescending tone that says, if you dont like it, tough luck. I was momentarily stunned at such a dismissive, contemptuous remark towards any paying customer. When I challenged his attitude, he replied with, I dont think much of you either. And he did this in the presence of other customers. My next two comments are not printable. Suffice to say that it took enormous restraint on my part to resist the temptation to teach him the manners his parents never did. Yas may well be a fine mechanic. I have no reason to think otherwise, but allowing someone with ZERO customer service skills and a screw you attitude, anywhere near the public was a grave mistake on Olin Motts part. I will never go there again for any reason.

The whole crew did a splendid job. Shawn was extra careful with my BMW rims and did a great job installing the tires. Mike did the wheel alignment and also did a great job. Cody also took care of me, the customer, and gave me a great price on all 4 tires. Will be back for other service in the future.

Checked out the vehicle diagnosed the problem gave options for solutions and fixed and put back on the road the next day.... Awesome

Everything you look for in auto maintenance and repair. We have been customers for 5 years. They never fail. Most recent experience involves us needing a quality set of tires quick and affordable. Not only did they get the tires installed and out the door in less than 3 hours they went out of their way late in the afternoon to get the tires since we waited so long. Also gave us a great price on quality tires!

Best mechanics ever. They are super nice and do excellent work for very reasonable prices. Above all, they are extremely honest. They have saved us hundreds of dollars over the years, even looking up recalls for us and fixing expensive parts rather that making us buy new ones.

I have taken my car to Olin Mott on 2 separate occasions. The fist time I went I had a slow leak in one of my tires and I didnt think the source of the leak would be found, so I just asked them to throw a new tire on. Within 30 minutes, not only did the guy actually find the leak (a small, smashed screw), but he patched my tire and then rotated all four of them for $25 (instead of the $100+ they could have made off me for a new tire).I also went there this morning to have my car looked over before I head to Tennessee for an interview. I was apprehensive because I was expecting to hear that X, Y, and Z needed to be fixed or that my car wasnt going to make it there. Instead of gouging me, they changed the oil, rotated the tires, and balanced all four of them for roughly $50. I had asked for only 2 tires to be balanced because my car shook a little when I drive, but they went ahead and balanced all four and only charged me for two. They also said everything looked fine and they topped off all my fluids.Currently, my car is 12 years old, has 130k miles, and has not needed any major repairs yet. Considering my lack of knowledge about cars, they could have easily told me your timing belt is about to break or ripped me off in some other similar fashion due to my cars age and mileage (a lot of major issues with cars occur at roughly 100k miles, and I DO NOT want that happening while on a major road trip). However, they were very respectful, courteous, and didnt try to swindle me into paying for any mechanical work that they didnt think was absolutely necessary. Ive had a lot of trouble with mechanics in the past, but I would definitely recommend Olin Mott and will be using them as my primary mechanic for the rest of my time in Florida.

I only go to the Olin Mott in Temple Terrace whenever I have a problem with my vehicle. They are all very knowledgeable with cars and best of all they are HONEST, which is very hard to find in a mechanic these days. When our a/c stopped blowing cold air we took it to another mechanic that said we needed a new compressor and would cost $1,100 with labor, and then thats when I took it to Olin Mott for the first time and they said my compressor was fine and fixed it for about 1/10 of the price the other place quoted me! We are a young family with a baby on a budget and I am so glad to have the guys at Olin Mott not only fix both our cars but also give a fair and honest price. On top of that the entire staff are all very friendly! If I could give Olin Mott more than 5 stars I would.

What exceptional service! Woke up to a dead battery that had to be jumped by a tow truck. Called Olin Mott to see if they had any batteries for my car and they didnt... BUT they assured me they could get one in 30 minutes! By time I had made my way to the station, the battery was there, and my car as promptly serviced. Yaz and team are amazing! Will be returning for any of my car needs.

I have been a customer of this shop for about 5 years now. If I could give them a better than excellent rating i would. They are honest, punctual, proficient, and friendly. I would not take my car anywhere else to receive work done. If they cant fix it here, Im in trouble. Tom one of the guys that works there has always taken the best care of me, which is why I continue to go back. I needed a alignment on my f250 after I did some part replacement. Yas got me in right away, and they did a excellent job. What I liked was the tech actually took my truck on a test drive after he did the alignment, not just gave it to me. Just got off the phone with Chuck who charged me a fee just to look my car over. I guess business is slow and Olin Mott has replaced Tom with this crook! I have never ever in all the years of taking vehicles to this location or the location on Hillsborough had them charge me for an estimate or to examine my vehicle to diagnose the problem. They dont tell you over the phone before releasing your vehicle to them that they will charge you in the event you do not get your car repaired with them. Which by the way would be $500 just to replace an alternator. Never thought the day that I would look at this shop as underhanded scam artist. I guess anything to make a buck. The tow truck driver put a machine to it FOR THE FREE and told me it was the alternator and me being HARD headed say let me take it to the professionals who know what they are doing...NOT! A bunch of money hunger buzzards that can careless about working class citizens. Please stay as far away from this company as possible! They have no mercy and I pray they dont try to do something else to my vehicle before I can get to it.

I went in to just make sure I could make it back to Michigan safely. The breaks were catching a bit and Gary assured me it was probably nothing but they would check it out. He called me about an hour later feeling awful because my breaks were shot and I needed to replace my serpentine belt. He told me a total that was far more than I intended to spend but Id be assured they were honest so I trusted it. I just got the invoice and they saved me so much money in labor. I think its because they felt bad they told me it was probably nothing. They are all class. They wont do more than you need and they wont screw you. Go here. Seriously. Do it.

I figured Id get some tires discounted from an online store and have someone install them, but first I wanted to check locally to see how much I might save. When I spoke with Tom at Olin Mott, he gave me a total package price for a high quality Michelin set of 4 tires with the balancing, alignment, and all miscellaneous fees included. With the factory rebate Olin Mott offered, the decision was obvious and easy. We dropped off the car and picked it up shortly later. Nicest thing was there were no surprises. No running around or no waiting for tires to ship from an online store to save a buck or two and then have someone else put them on. Tom was thorough in his explanations and make everything work out without surprises. Well be going back to see Tom when we need tires for our other two cars.

Come see “Yas” at Olin Mott! They are seriously the best place I have ever taken my car. They do not oversell you and always find you the best deal! Yas even found some used rims so I can replace one and have a full spare in my car. I got all my tires changed out a few months ago here and 56th St. has so many tires stores and I was quoted $50-$75 less per tires from here rather than Firestone and Tires Plus which are within a 1 mile radius from this location. I urge you to come here as they don’t oversell you and do great work super fast! 5 stars all the way around hands down!

As a long time customer of this location,recent management changes have not been a plus. They do not rotate tires for free w/an oil change. Will not honor competitor coupons or prices.Most recently bought two new tires w/alignment and oil change…the next day,one tire had lost air. Took the car back in,was told it had a nail and would be $24 to fix. Say what? Good customer service would be,Mr.Stark,we will replace or repair the tire at no charge!We will service our 3 vehicles elsewhere from now on…thanks Olin Mott !!

This place is great! Went in for an estimate for brake calipers and rear differential problems. Yas explained to me exactly what was wrong and gave me a very detailed, fair estimate. Worth every single penny. Had it fixed in a few hours and communicated with me throughout the process. Customer service is amazing and price was fair for all the work put into it. I was explained upfront about other problems that could arise while doing this job and wasnt kept in the dark like alot of other places do, then hit you with a crazy number at the end. Will be coming here for now on. 👍

Alignment took about an hour and was completed successfully. Careful about the sales pitches though, they tried to get me to spend $300 on a minor issue and made it sound catastrophic. Basically, go in with some prior knowledge of auto mechanics.

My daughter and I have both had the opportunity to frequent this shop over the past year. They diagnosed and replaced the water pump in my 2002 Aztek, and even look it all over a few days later when I had additional concerns! My daughter had 4 new tires installed on her Scion XD - and help months later when she had a problem. The service is excellent and the staff is great. Its great to have happened on them because they are close to our work - but now that we have discovered them - they will always be our first choice - even if its a drive and we have to wait! I hit a deep pothole that bent a rim and ruined the tire before I could find a safe location to put on the spare.They fixed the rim and because the tire was insured, a replacement only cost $30.

I was sold an expired rebateI purchased 4 new BFG tires and the manager told me it came with a $50 mail-in-rebate. BFG denied the rebate because it had expired and advised me to ask the store to honor the rebate. The manager told me he was unaware the rebate had expired 13 days prior to the purchase of the tires. He would not give me the $50 rebate but offered a store credit. I am not satisfied because I bought the tires for the rebate and not for store credit

I am a disabled veteran and writing this from the roadside before I head home. A month ago I had Olin Mott do an oil change and tire rotation. As it is a used car, it had a locking lugnut I wasnt aware of. Olin removed and replaced it for a very reasonable fee on all 4 tires.This morning I got a flat tire on 56th and Sligh in Temple Terrace. My tire iron is old and didnt match the new lug nuts. I called Marcel (the Manager) at the shop and explained my situation.I was literally expecting to have to tow it in and have them remove it. Instead, they sent out Robert (incredibly amazing guy, we are talking friendly, professional, and a quick worker.) Robert noticed the jack wasnt in the best location(another guy positioned it as I cant bend easily,) pointed it out, and repositioned it for me.A momemt later he jumped to doing the actual replacement. Again I was expecting he might maybe just undo the bolts for me but no, he did the entire job, even replaced my flat in the back and lifted the wench.I cannot express how many times this specific Olin Mott has been friendly, lrofessional, economical, and just really demonstrated they wanted my business and respected me as a person.5 stars all the way.
