Best automotive repair shop in Galveston County. Your vehicle is repaired right the first time. I dont recall ever having to bring my car back. Honest and reliable service.

Service was slow and mediocre. I had to call them 2 days in a row to see if my truck was ready. They told me to come after 2 PM which I did and it seem like they were barely getting started. They told me to come back closer to closing time which I did and took my truck home where it began to leak transmission fluid. I had to take my truck back and they had to repair the leak which was a loose bolt in the transmission pan. Three days at their shop the truck rides the same as the issue in my truck was not resolved.

These guys always take great care of me and my Mustang. I feel like they always have my best interest.

Got the best price and great service. Explained everything to me and told me additional things I needed to do so I wouldnt need to be back. Its been about 2 months since I had the rebuild and its running perfect. They will always have my business. They came recommend to me by many of my friends and I will recommend them to anyone in need.

We have had work done here several times and even though we moved from Texas City we still come here. They are honest and do excellent work! The owners are such nice people! Thank you James for always having time to explain things to me!

Went there, check if a transmission leak..Gave me quate, exactly $40 diagnostic check fee..Broke a heater hose, then said its there fault, repair it.., Yet, when I showed up, Tell me, itll be $180.. For there mistake!Randy, there mechanic..Owners.. James & Gerald, are shady characters!!!!Not very professional..Look in your face, and lye to you!Im somewhat, mechanically inclined..Yet, they dont know that..Just listened to there BS, yet I know exactly, work needed to be done!G & J Transmotive... Tried to take me for granted!¡. Stay Away!

They were great highly recommend. Even when I couldn’t make time to pick up my truck when it was done on a week day, they went out of their way to meet me there on a weekend so I could get my truck. Very strait forward no bs great service.

I had an issue with my truck that puzzled many mechanics. I went to G&Js not only did the figure out the issue but I got excellent service at an unbeatable price. They seem to be extremely honest which is hard to find at an auto shop these day. i have sent some of my friends to this shop and they too were pleased with the results.

Another shop had told me that my problem was internal and would need to be rebuilt.The guys at G & J s checked it out and found a couple of bad solenoids and fixed it for under $300.00. They didnt try to take advantage of me and they talked me through everything and completed repairs that day.
