Very please with the whole experience of shopping with Julie K. at Bassett. She was so helpful as we walked the showroom, and very knowledge as we asked questions. During the final selection process Julie made sure everything was just perfect for us. We are so pleased to have worked with her and will be returning again!

We were looking for random furniture (ottoman, chest for end of our bed, and a chaise lounge) for our home. We went to several stores and could not find what we were looking for. We ended up at Bassett furniture where you can customize your furniture which is what we realized we needed to do. Ruben was our sales person and he was not pushy at all and gave us space to look around. When it came time to pick out patterns and details for each piece he was extremely helpful. Neither my husband or I have an eye for decorating. Ruben looked at pictures we showed him on our phones of the rooms the furniture would be in and told us what would look best. We went with his suggestions and hoped for the best but were a little unsure. The furniture came in today and we are amazed. It definitely exceeded our expectations and we never would have picked the colors on our own. We were very pleased with all aspects of the buying process and with the furniture. Would definitely recommend Bassett to friends and family.

Make sure you dress appropriately and look successful before coming in here otherwise you are invisible to the sales associates and can make 3 laps around the store without a SINGLE greeting!

Its not only the look and quality of the furniture we love, it is also the service of the entire Team. We have worked exclusively with Debi Young, and have enjoyed every minute of it. Attentive, creative and most importantly honest with her feedback and always prepared to give us a design resolution without being pushy or trying to close a sale. In short, we adore her. Our family and community went through a very trying time with Hurricane Harvey and during the rebuild of our home, Bassett, allowed us to store our order in their warehouse until our house was finished. I found the shopping experience to be nice. I found the follow through to be a little lack luster? Why is that? I ordered a simple wood piece of furniture that took over 4 months to get in. Something I didnt know, is that everything is not American made, some of it is, some of it is done overseas. It may have changed my purchase if I knew that going in.I like this experience, if you spend over a certain limit they will come to your home and help you design your new room. This is a nice feature. They make it easier to buy furniture because you arent shopping in a circus. I thought the follow up through the time of purchase through delivery could have been done a bit better.

So very disappointed with Guardsman Furniture Professionals who are contracted by Bassett Furniture to provide warranty service for furniture purchases. I purchased a Sofa Sleeper from Bassett in January 2015. I bought the warranty and had them come out 4 times in exactly 2 years time. The cushions keep coming apart at the seams. This last time i called they told me the cushion would be replaced. I got an email telling me it is not covered by their warranty but it has been repaired 3 previous times on this warranty. I have called several times to both Bassett and Guardsman and have been dealing with this repair since 12/13/17 and I am still awaiting on the repair. Long time customer now so very disappointed!!

Bought a nice chair, bought here before. Some prices are a bit too high, but some are of a great value too.

After meeting in store and talking about what we were going for with our new and mostly empty house, Brickelle came out to the house for measurements and further discussion of possible styles for the living/kitchen area. We enjoyed the back and forth creative process. She put a lot of time into the plan, which along with the house visit was a free service provided to us by Bassett, and we enjoyed the reveal. Even if it is by nature a little cheesy you cant help but look forward to how things might turn out. We are executing on the plan in phases as we go, for budget reasons. The first phase is under way, quality is very good for the price, and we have made some tweaks and substitutions and minor design changes along the way. So good to work with someone who can advise and guide, while leaving any decisions completely up to you - and its key that someone else has the big picture in mind. My wife and I dont always agree and Brickelle has been very good at helping us navigate. She is a very capable designer with great creative sensibilities, which she tailors to the practical needs of our budget; she is prompt and courteous; and she is fun to work with. 5 stars. And the same for Bassett customer service and delivery. Furniture has been on time and in perfect condition. Couldnt be more satisfied with our Bassett experience with Brickelle.

Beautiful store, many custom options!

Id love to tell you that the quality of the items I ordered made up for my extremely frustrating experience but since I dont have them and wont have them until most likely at least a MONTH after their very loose 30 day quoted time, I cant do that. We ordered 4 stools Nov. 4th. with an estimated delivery of Dec 4th. I had to contact the associate that we worked with who assured me that they would come in the second week of December...okay, so the second week of December I called and was told December 13th, that came and went. I called on the 20th of December and was told that they would be in the warehouse on the 21st (today) and once checked over would be delivered. I called today and lo and behold, 2 of the items are not even at the warehouse yet and so it appears that they wont arrive until after Christmas. We specifically called out our needs to the associate that worked with us when we ordered these are were assured that there were no issues with our order. Extremely frustrating when you are paying such a high price for items.

Some nice designs. Lots of choices in wood or fabric and fairly good quality.

2 out of the 3 Benchmade items I purchased were delivered damaged due to poor craftsmanship and possible damage from delivery. Have had the furniture in my house unable to use for about a month and still have not gotten an answer back from bassett on what they are going to do to fix this problem. To top it off the sales rep has been talking to my girlfriend in an inappropriate manor referring to her as pretty girl multiple times via text message. Bassett has had an ample amount of time to resolve this transaction. I plan on getting in touch with the regional manager Amanda as soon as possible to discuss the extremely poor service we have received from bassett at their woodlands location.Also I posted pictures on this review of the multiple defects the furniture I purchased came with. Please note I spent 8k plus four this furniture that was supposed to be brand new not clearance or discounted floor models.

The only place to purchase furniture. Well made, great designers

We came to this store thinking we would get high quality furniture since all of it is made when you buy it. The wrong size bed was ordered and we were compensated with a small discount. Then we get our furniture with a defected lamp that scratched up the night stand and bed post that were loose and wobbly. Also a pillow had two buttons missing. We recieved a new lamp but then the second batch of bed post were the wrong color/finish. We talked to the customer service people and they stated someone would be calling us in which no one has and we called back a week later and the manager just so happen to be on vacation and the sales lady has not called us back. We hope to get our furniture in working condition in which this nightmare has went on for almost 2 months. If they offer the warranty, please buy it because with all the defects of the furniture we had we wished we would have. Will not be shopping here again. They talk about how much better they are than Ashleys and Starr....well we have bought furniture from both of those stores and the furniture was delivered in excellent condition. They need to train the people who make the furniture again and pay attention to craftmanship. People work too hard to buy defected/broken furniture.
