Was visiting from out of state and I must say this Hot Topic is soooo much better than my local one. More plus size items, store was organized and the staff was quite friendly!

Note: this did not happen as I’m writing this. This was about a few days prior that I decided to finally write. I’ve been going to this specific Hottopic for about 8 years now; I’ve got some pretty fond memories here at this location, and typically, I’m not even one to sit down and write reviews unless absolutely necessary. I would usually have a good time at this store until very specifically one of the employees started working here. My mom and I come in quite frequently due to housing a bunch of teens and young adults, and each time we do this specific employee is always either rude, doesn’t put forth hardly any effort to even be nice to customers, and always generally brings about a very foul air around them that really does bring the liveliness of the store down when they are working. On multiple occasions I’ve caught them snapping at customers, other employees even sometimes, to the point where it seems to be a bit too far and ridiculous with it being a consistant, constant thing. I understand bad days, I really do; I never try to take things too harshly when it comes to retail workers only because I was a retail worker and I understand the struggle. But, being a retail worker, you also know how to control your tones and ensure a positive, friendly experience. I’ve never had any other trouble with any other employee than them. I’m going to be sending corporate the same review I have here, as well. I’m not looking to get this person fired, but I do want ir brought to the attention of the store.TLDR; store is nice, I come in frequently, one particular employee really ruins it for me and anyone who comes with me in the store if they’re present. Not trying to drop any names publicly, I will at least be vague; their name starts with a “K”, and typically would be spelled with a “C”.

Coolest place to shopp se anime clothing

The inventory was good but there was no sales whatsoever. I watched 3 customers walk in and walked back out buying nothing.

I asked if I could return something three days past the date and the manager acted like I stole her mat at nap time. She could’ve said no very easily

I’ve been going here since i was 11(currently 16) and all the employees know me by name and are super helpful, it isn’t the same “emo” store as it was in like 2005, but they still have emo bands, such as my chemical romance, black veil brides, bring me the horizon, slipknot, all time low etc

It was good and the staff was friendly and welcoming... more product choices needed.

The staff was cool but theres too much stuff in the store you can barely walk around.

When I was younger this place made me look edgy. Today I came out looking like a weeb. Place has changed quite a bit. Friendly staff.

I do like shopping here but every time I come shop here, the employees never greet anyone. You have to search for an employee around the whole store to ask for help.

I loved the. The energy was positive the customer service was lovely I love Hot Topic I really did I would recommend if you ever go to the Woodlands go to Hot Topic in there mall it was amazing

My daughter loves this store. They are still only allowing certain amount of people in at a time. Its not worth waiting in line for. So get there early.

The store inside the woodlands mall is one of the smaller stores but I saw a lot more plushies in there than I usually do in other hot topics. Also has one of those stands outside the store in the mall hallway which is a big convenience

Always a stop at this store when I am with my teenage daughter. She loves this store.

I LOVE hot topic, they have so many things to choose from and have a lot of things for my style. It might be a lot of money but their clothes have great quality and I wouldnt mind spending everything I have here lmao :)

The staff is always so nice and welcoming and extremely helpful. The lady that helped me (I think her name was Brooke) was extremely friendly and made my time at the mall go from stressful (because I had struggled to find clothes) to fun and made my day from laughter. Their great customer service definitely makes a difference in the whole store, and I just love the chill friendly vibe they have there. I’d definitely go back.

Always love finding fun clearance ! still waiting for BTS shirts . Not BT21, BTS . hopefully soon ! never a wasted trip cuz theres always something neat to take home !

Cardi b and billie eilish shirts have replaced the blink 182 tees :( But they do have an excellent selection of classic band tees on the side wall! I really like this location, I get most of my jewelry from here. My only complaint is that it gets insanely crowded and hard to move around in the store, but thats expected from a mall. Staff is always real nice and helpful.

Back when I was younger and did shop here they often tried to scam me. One time at checkout I handed the clerk my stuff, And they told me the price, around 25 dollars. They then asked if I wanted free candy? It was really weird. After sincerely insisting that I just take it, and after I turned it down multiple times, they tell me my total again which was around 20. Assuming since I was young and paying in cash, they already put the cost of this ‘candy’ on my payment. Assuming that I’d not read the receipt after, being young and naive. Totally rude people, some people were honestly nice though. Terribly run store.

I went with my niece to buy presents for her daughter. Im a 63 yr old man, so its not really for me - yet I found a really cool Led Zeppelin shirt which my niece bought for me! Cool store for the young and hip.

Went here over the weekend wasn’t happy girl at the front door was rude! Don’t think I’ll ever go back and will definitely not recommend to anyone anymore. People like that is why most prefer online shopping.

This place has nothing but immature scank bags working especially ones standing at the door now they ask you if you dont no what you want you cant go in ! Its a Mall thats why people go shopping not to ask what they want or with attitude dont waste your time shop online and not at hot topic

Very welcoming atmosphere! This girl that appeared to be new did not hesitate to help me find the band tee my 13 year old wants for his birthday! My mathematical avalanche something. 10/10 would go again!

Little cramped but great selection, easy to navigate. Plentiful staff is helpful. It does get crowded/busy but a plan is in place...never overwhelming. My 13 year old loves it here.

Staff has a high turnover rate because theyre pretty young but if you come in here often enough to catch the sales its pretty great. Manager is polite and attentive.

Always have what i need and yhe staff is very helpful and friendly.

This location has improved so much since last year. The staff on SDCC POP release day was phenomenal. They handled that swarm efficiently with a smile. The store is organized much better also. Brooke, Chloe, Julie and Rhiannon deserve a raise.

There was a mix up with my order due to there machine and the manager was so helpful and fixed it so I could get my items

Im not sure of the girls name that helped me. She had a lip and nose piercing. She was amazing though! They had 3 sales going on and she talked me into doing all 3 lol. I came in there for 1 thing.

They have some interesting and one of a kind items that you just dont see many places. The staff seemed knowledgeable and helpful. You might find something quirky for a gift.

Awesome service never disappoints

Chloe was so sweet and helpful. She helped me find my niece the Post Malone shirts she wanted for Christmas. The store was packed and still the staff was pleasantly helpful and wonderful. Good job to Chloe and her staff.

This place is busy and has some of the best graphic tees ever. Bands, cartoon characters, favorite tv shows, and movies. Fun place for gifts that your media-loving loved ones.

Theyre always helpful and make sure to do anything they can to make your visit the best they can. Even when theyre busy the do what they can to make the time to help you. I always love going and never have any complaints.

I love the clothing and products, but the prices are a bit high. Despite the constant sales, theyre always a bit above a reasonable price range.At this location, I have never had issues with staff or items being in stock, only the prices!

The lady Ms Brooke was the absolute sweetest and helpful I think I met there! She was patient given my confusion on something with an order and she was just a delight to speak with while getting the transaction in order I also bought the cutest doctor who skirt based on the newest doctor.

I always love shopping here, they always have great sales. They play good music, the staff always greets people as they walk in the store. They let you know of the current sale, and always ask if you need any help to let them know.

Love this place and the staff is amazing

One of my daughters favorite stores. We went in on Dec 2.17 30 mins prior to close and the two young ladies there were very nice and helpful. They mentioned a %30 off deal we knew nothing about. Its nice when employees let you know about additional discounts that they offer. The store was nice, clean and organized.

I love this store. It’s so awesome and has a ton of great stuff always changing. It’s a little expensive though. Sucks that everything has to be so expensive these days. A sticker is 6$ lol a sticker. But other then high prices it’s awesome. They have some stuff on sale but you have to look around because it’s in different areas.

Typical Hot Topic, the staff was nice and the selection was fun and entertaining. Only downsides is that their clearance selection wasnt that big considering they were having a clearance sale. There was also boxes around which isnt how it typically is there, they were probably stocking products

Hot topic is one of my favorite stores. Every time I go in there with a friend or my mother, one of the clerks (wears a hat and has very short hair) is so rude and asks if we are going to mess up the store. Or causing trouble. Hello!! That is your job!! Your job is to help customers, not ask about messing up the store. She is so rude!! She has no business being in the customer service industry!! I am a customer and PAY your salary. Hot topic, you should reconsider your employees and remember your customers, no matter what the age!!!! I am a teenager and I am a customer!!!
