Not Friendly at all very lazy !!!!!!! When we came in we where not greeted or helped I understand social distance but this was extreme. They didn’t help me and my daughter at all not impressed!!! Theses are children not animals you people are wearing mask for crying out loud !!!

My daughter got to make her and her new niece a bear/ cat. It was a neat experience for her.

I pretty much left holding back my tears . As I was starting to feel like things were more normal again my baby son who is one and I went in to get his first bear stuffed today just like my older sons did before. The girl that helped me was so very mean and very anxious she didn’t want to be patient when I was at the sound station and had a cow when I was stepping over the childish blue line.. she just very unhappy and unwelcoming. I’m going to be calling corporate I am a paying consumer who paid a pretty penny to be here and I get treated like some fool

Very bad first experience with our 1 year old. She was very excited to be there but the employees were all very rude. We complied with all the restrictions and followed the arrows. We got offered very little help. We weren’t given much direction on how to do the new protocol for picking a bear. If it weren’t for my daughter wanting the build a bear she had already picked out we would’ve left. Was not at all what I expected. Overall customer service and experience was terrible. Better off ordering online.

Employees were wonderful and nice. Very helpful and I didnt feel judged for going in to get a stuffed animal. Even though I am a senior in high school. I could not be happier with my black panther bear and they had a wide selection of accessories and adorable clothes.

Pretty awful experience. We were looking forward to building our first build a bear with our toddler and was complying with all their restrictions. Employees doesn’t really offer much help. It’s a bit hectic in there and almost confusing and was told to back away from a kiosk ( to get music/ recording on bear) because we were told we were to close to the other people. So we did even though almost everyone was so close to each other. After we moved further away, this same employee put another customer into the same kiosk we were just at... seemed like this employee just let this other person cut us in line. There also wasn’t much stock in this location. We decided to leave instead because the experience wasn’t what we hoped it to be.

My sister and I were here for a last minute gift. The last who let us in was the nicest person ever. Overall, a great store 👌

The employees are kind and helpful even in the midst of a pandemic. For the people who complain about masks and limiting traffic flow, theyre doing it to keep everyone safe. I personally commend everyone for working so hard and trying their best to keep Build-A-Bear a happy, positive experience for all while also following safety protocol. Yall are the real MVPs!

We checked website, said store was open. We drove 2hrs to bring my grandson to do his annual birthday bear. Excited to finally get to the store to the lights off and gate shut. They clearly were not open, and I had a sad 4yr old who got NO birthday bear. Sad. Do better!!!

The Woodlands location always goes above and beyond to make sure your kid feels special and engaged the whole time they are in the store. The staff here is awesome!

Had to wait outside just to look at the bears, some of the licensed bears were very expensive $49. Not worth the wait for the prices they were charging!!!

The very big lady was rude and probably shouldnt be working at a kid friendly place.

I truly enjoyed my experience at the build a bear.

First time bringing my kids and nephews to this store. I started recording the process of stuffing the bear. Then an assistant manager said that I wasnt allowed to record. Why? Because its a new policy that Build the Bear made. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I dont believe this is true. I have recorded before and all I wanted for today was a memory with the kids.

Very noisy, very overwhelming, and not a whole lot of direction from the staff. Staff was nice but not very helpful and seemed agitated, not very talkative. Plus, overpriced bears that you can get half price on Amazon and dress up for less c :

Website and Google BOTH say open until 8pm. Gates are closed, lights are off, no signs, NOTHING!!! We drove over an hour to get here for nothing. Now I have to try to explain to my special needs child that she cant get her bunny fixed and get her a new dress. NOT OKAY!! If your store is gonna be closed you need to put up a sign and update your websites!

I am upset!! You have no idea how much I was looking forward to this day brining my kids to get their personalized bear. As a mother of 5 let me tell you that brining them here is a luxury because it can get expensive. we have not been here since pre pandemic. Anyways, it was going well. The girl at the stuffing station was the sweetest. Anyways, my autistic son wanted me to help him find clothing for a Build a bear we have at home. As we started heading to the back this other employee literally yelled very loudly to get back to the station where I was at and everyone needed to be together?!! I feel humiliated as the other mom next to me was looking at me since it could be heard from a distance. I do not expect to be treated this way especially at this place. I will not be returning to this store and will be sure that someone from this company hears this Experience and takes appropriate measures--starting with training !! Be sensitive especially in these times. Julie was this employees name.

Just looked around to see the new animal types!

I understand there’s a capacity but there’s a way to say it. Nobody was by the door when I walked in and then as I walk in with my friend I get surrounded incoming by 3 workers and one rude one tells me there’s a capacity I need to step out. When I was able to come in the same lady that was rude about how she spoke to customers was just there watching everything you do. When I was in line to get my character filled with cotton a customer happens to be looking at the clothing on the wall while the person he was with was doing the process and the way she told him to stop blocking the pathway made the guy upset and he proceeded to say he’s going to wait outside and this lady kept on and saying okay that’s fine very rudely. I was fed up and just placed my character back and left, very bad experience to even enjoy stuffing my character when it’s suppose to be a great time!

Workers were rude, especially the obese woman. We didn’t see the arrows but she didn’t need to talk to us rudely to correct us. We felt embarrassed as the whole store look at us and the workers kept staring at us and we felt uncomfortable so we left. Never coming back!

The staff are wonderful, kind, and are very careful to follow the covid restrictions in place by the company.

We participated in the pay your age day and it was so much fun! We waited in line but my kids were happy and the staff was friendly and made sure my kids felt special even in the crowd.

We took our 2 1/2 yr old son for the first time and he loved it! They had great deals and coupons, and the experience was so fun! The sales staff is very attentive, and they help you through the process. The stuffed animals are very high quality. They are so soft, and the little red heart with the stuffing was a sweet touch. They have a stuffed animal for every child, including the cutest little accesories! Definitely worth it!

Was not allowed inside and give my daughter her birthday gift because we did not have masks on.

The lady I just talked to was very rude when I called and asked a few questions. If you dont like answering questions please dont work at a childrens store they ask alot of questions.

It was a wonderful place. It was my first time there and I was very impressed. They were short staffed with only one associate and she was amazing! Extremely helpful and really sweet with the kids. I would definitely recommend this location.

Great place to take your grandkids

Triple checked the website to make sure they would be opened when my husband and I went to make a bear for our little one. We get there and the gate was down but people inside so we figured they were being extra cautious like some of the other stores. When we were trying to read the signs about the safety protocol the one worker yelled at us from across the store and said the shop was closed for the rest of the day. Rather than having a shouting match, we just left. We dont understand how the store can be closed at 2:30 on a Tuesday and there not be anything posted.

Writing this after about 2 years of visits at least twice a month.Have come here for birthday gifts, just because, and for some cool novelties when certain movies and characters were released. Good times so far. :)On that note, the staff has always been very accommodating and very friendly to both myself and my family. Talking with genuine interest about the bears they are looking at and stuffing. It is part of the experience but you can tell many times when some are sticking to a script and others are having fun with the experience.So much fun that my kids want to come back each time. And specifically this location.I hope you will not be disappointed and enjoy this.

Employees were amazing anf loved the experience.

My 2.5 year old enjoyed making her bear. There was a bit of a line for stuffing. The girl worker was really sweet, but the boy barely looked at us, didnt say anything as I stood there right in front of him. He ignored me and didnt say just a minute or anything as he did something with the stuffing machine. I moved over to the girl when she became free and had a much better experience.

Very limited stock......not much to choose from. I was very disappointed ☹️

The lady letting people in was extremely rude. She did not ask nicely to put our mask over our noses. She was very condescending. It ruined the experience. Not bringing my 3 kids back.

They where amazing i have had this bear for 8 months. Me and my boy friend made each other bears on our one month and i remember the lady was the nicest build a bear lady i have ever met . We got a discount and a gift card with our order i sleep with this bear every night and still have no problems even with the sound box he looks, feels, and sounds brand new . If you wanna go some wear quick, fun, good quality and nice people i highly recamend this build a bear.

Its like all other build-a-bear locations. Super expensive ($30+ per bear), but the kids have fun and get excited to go. The staff here are very friendly and helpful.

If you book a party make sure it goes through. I didnt check and when everyone showed up for my daughters party there was no record of it. It was horrible. I got so upset I left while my daughter and all her friends were fitted in. I didnt even get to enjoy her party ( it wasnt a party they threw it together) but still spent $400 . this is my first and Worst experience with Build a bear. Did I mention the girls there are rude&mean too. I strongly recommend not having parties here. I wish I never did I wasted $400. I wasnt even there cause the manager was rude and ugly to me calling me a liar. Im still mad. Stupid build a bear people!

Very nice young lady helped my sisters out with all their stuffed animals. Made my sisters have an awesome experience building their toys.

Im giving it 3 stars because the employee filling the bears seemed bothered to be doing her job also she didnt stuff my daughters bear very much and when I asked her to fill her up more she did it with such an attitude. You shouldnt be working at a kids store if you dont have the patience. I didnt catch her name because I honestly wouldnt have been polite about it and I wasnt going to let her attitude ruin my daughters moment of getting her teddy bear.

Went on pay your age day. It was really crowded and we were turned down cause there were so many people to cater to and build a Bear wasnt expecting such a big crowd. So we started shopping around but stayed in the mallBut then after an hour or so, lines were again opened and we got lucky to get in line and get the animals stuffed.At this time although the staff was tired but still they were very hospitable, behaved very nicely and helped us and others around.

Both my kids enjoy this place and love getting their birthday bears every year.

The staff is always friendly here, and they were real nice about my family each putting a heart in my daughters first build a bear. The whole place is clean and much more organized than they were a few years ago

So much fun from start to finish- my kids absolutely love this place. Its incredibly unique in its entirety: they have animals and add-ons for every child(special needs, wheelchairs, etc.), theyve got the accessories to give every child an experience that is unique to them. You can spend as little or as much as youd like; there are all sorts of add-ins during the creation process, as well as the extras on the side (e.g. clothing, roller skates, the sky is the limit!) You have to experience it for yourself to truly know its magic :)

Horrible birthday party experience! Our party was ill managed. We were treated as an after thought, as if our party had been planned for almost 2 months. I had booked this as well as paid a deposit for the party, however the general public was given more attention than a birthday party was. Complaints to management fell on def ears. To top off the worst party experience was when my childs gifts had been stolen. The only thing that was good is my child did get the bear she wanted. I never plan to step foot in this Build a bear again.

When a company will repair a bear 5 years later. Its amazing.

Always a good experience at buildabear. Even when it is busy there is always someone who makes sure to greet you and weve never had to wait long for help. Sure the animals are a a bit pricey (especially when youre 2 year old likes the giant pikachu you could have purchased a similar one or for like $10 at Walmart haha) but its fun for kids and worth the extra!

I went here a few months ago and got a lalaloopsy stuffed animal which ended up coming unstitched and basically falling apart. I brought it back to see if it could be restuffed and restitched. The staff was SO helpful, they took my child over and let her completely relive the experience while doctoring her stuffed animal. Thank you!!
