Was visiting my youngest daughter and her family in Thomasville, GA and went in just to test drive the Jeep Gladiator truck. We were so impressed with our sales associate, Mike Baugh, that we texted him the same night and said we wanted to purchase the vehicle. Saturday, September 12, 2020 my dodge longhorn 2020 pick up displayed a tire alert on the dash. It was bright red display and all four tires were registering a potential issue. I pulled into the Thomasville GA dodge ram dealership, but the Service department was closed on Saturday. To my surprise and extreme delight, a sales person by the name of Mike came over to see if he could assist me in anyway. He open the service department, and begin to fill all four tires with the appropriate amount of air. All four tires were extremely low and were in need of air!! Now the salesman was well dressed very polite and I was concerned that he was going to get dirty doing this on a vehicle that their dealership did not even sell to me. Mike never said a word was very friendly and realize that I had purchased the Dodge Longhorn at my last job location in Central Florida. Just moving to Thomasville Georgia and needing immediate service, this Dodge dealership has my loyal support from now on. I feel very confident and pleased that this dealership jumped right in to assist with the Dodge ram longhorn product. I love my pick up and it is far better than the three Ford King Ranch i have owned in the past. I just want to thank Mike, a nine year employee at the Dodge ram dealer in Thomasville GA, for not hesitating at all to assist on a Saturday morning at 9 AM when the service department was closed. I didn’t purchase my truck here, but I’ve used these guys for warranty work and now a fairly substantial repair and they’ve always been great. They’re the best service department I’ve ever dealt with by a pretty good margin. I’ll definitely give these guys a shot at my business when it’s time to buy a new truck.:edit: I’m still glad my truck is running again, but there were several items that were left incomplete. The emergency brake release was left unhooked. I fixed this myself. The light under the hood was left unplugged. I plugged this back in myself. The light under the steering wheel was left dangling. I secured this back to its original location. Also, I had the TIPM replaced and they left the new one laying on top of its mounting location rather than clicked down into place. I snapped it back into place. I also discovered later when all the power in my truck turned off that they didn’t tighten down the battery connections on the terminals. They were extremely loose. My steering wheel still has a lot more vibration in it than before. The tech mentioned he had to drop the steering column to the floorboard to make the repair to the drivetrain control module. I’m going to check the torque on the bolts holding it in place to see if that’s the issue. I feel that a repair made by a dealership shouldn’t leave so many items incomplete.

I was told there was a computer recall on my Jeep that I purchased from them. I was told they would order the part and replace it. I heard nothing else for six months. When the check engine light comes on, I call to bring it in. They tell me it is the computer. I let them know they were supposed to replace it months ago and they acted like they never spoke to me. They tell me to bring my Jeep in and now they will replace it. I tell them I need a loaner that day to be able to drive to work. They agree to have a loaner car waiting on me at 7:30 in the morning. I get there and there is no loaner car. I moved my work schedule back to drop off the Jeep in the first place. Such horrible service and zero communication.

The experience was gut wrenching, painful and I was in tears. They fixed an electrical problem and kept my van for up to four weeks. They requested overy $1000 for each week, fixed the wrong thing and put over 300 extra miles on my van, ripped the carpet in my trunk, had wires hanging out. They had my backseat down and everyone kept telling me they saw different guys riding all over town in my nice 2011 silver town-n-country. The lady there was even brave enough to tell me how great my van drove. My tank was on E, I gave it to them on FULL. The heavy set head guy with the long gray beard only told me he was so sorry, gave me $19 in cash and said, our man mechanic lives very far Im the country part of Thomasville and had to take your van home everyday to work on it, thats just just how our business go here, Im sorry youre upsethe sweetie, but there is nothing we can do about it, at least your car is fixed. Ive been having problems out of my van every since. Never take your car to them, you will live to regret it, only thing I can do is deal with the loss.
