Ive been needing replacement frames due to peeling of the paint on the bottom side of the frame. Waited over a week for a call back never to receive it. Called was told the last who was ordering the new frame had stepped out and would call me back, never received the call. Now if you didnt want to replace the frame just say that and not keep waisting my time. Will start going to Americas Best next time.

My husband has diabetes so he has to have an extensive eye exam. While he was having his eyes checked the girl performing the exam was on her phone with her real estate agent the entire time. Then he went from there to the Dr. The Dr told him that his eyes were bleeding (can happen with diabetes). My husband said that he felt like he was herded through like cattle. The Dr was very spastic and wouldnt take the time to have a conversation about his eyes.My husband went to another facility today, there is nothing wrong with his eyes.

Loved Dr. John Yoakum. However, Tammy that helps you with your glasses was very rude and not very helpful. Frames are very over priced.

I have never wrote bad reviews on anyone, first off when I called to make an appointment the lady that answered the phone said her name was Rhea, but she was very rude, and I I looked over it, but when I came in the office the same lady was very rude and was on what appeared to be her personal phone and was cussing someone and hung and then asked me my name was very hateful. I dont believe this lady should be working if she is having a bad day. There are other people out here that need jobs and are very nice. Very unpeefessinal. I will never be back there again

The doctor is great but DO NOT,i repeat...DO NOT buy glasses from here.the customer service is terrible,the warranties are terrible.the prices are too high (with insurance) and i got 2 pair of the same glasses for the price of their from eye mart in greensboro

NEGATIVE 5 STARS - I have recently moved to the area- as a new patient I was looking for a new family eye Doctor and to update and reorder more contacts. I made an appointment with Dr. Yoakum - NEVER IN MY LIFE have I felt so belittled and disrespected. From the moment he walked in, he lectured me about not having my previous records and then proceeded by rushing through the appointment with very little care as to making sure my prescription was correct. He finished my appointment by asking “if I even knew what lattice degeneration is...” and when i explained what my retina specialist had told me he brushed it off and talked over me, and asked “why are you even here”. I am completely appalled by the lack of care and professionalism that I have experienced during my appointment. His attitude was completely unacceptable and I will be reporting this office- specifically Dr. Yoakum to the BBB. Having many siblings that are doctors and being in the medical field myself, I am disappointed to even call him a doctor.

Super friendly staff,Rhea at front desk was very nice at my greet and got me back to Dr. fast.Becky the tech was super nice and completed my exam in an orderly fashion.Dr.yokom explained all my eye care needs and was very professional.Tammy helped me pick out the best pair glasses for me and super nice.Perry the manger was very polite at greet and leave.very nice and cool staff loved my experience here and will return.

Costumer service is horrible they didn’t even had the materials to check my son at the moment and rescheduled him for like a whole month. Then my glasses are ready for pick up but the schedule me a whole month after to pick my glasses up (after I was notified they ready to pick up). I had to cancel his appointment and make somewhere else and when I did she hang up the phone on me super unprofessional! I’m glad I changed aye doctors for him. (Doctor was amazing they staff really sucks )

Dr Pope is a wonderful person and Dr. The front staff however is a different story. Glasses had to be made 3 times and they still werent correct. The lady that fitted my frames picked a pair that I really didnt care for. She kept saying how good they made me look and kept saying to other patients,dont they look great?, which they all agreed just to stop being asked. I still have to close one eye and tilt my head to read anything. They want to do a retest. Dr Pope did his job correctly. The lab and adjusters failed tremendously. I wont be going back just to have them make another pair that sucks. Wont be seen there again. New glasses from another office really soon.

Went by the eye doctor in thomasville this morning to see if they could fix my glasses the wires is coming out around the lens they would not see me with out a appointment. Hard to were my glass when the wire is Polking my eyes.find me a different doctor

Dr Yoakum and staff are exceptional! I so appreciate the service from Rita the Front Desk staff member to the assistant who does the initial screenings to the eye glass professionals who fit and educate about the glasses offered. Dr Yoakum goes above and beyond. He is not only professional he is personable and kind. I would recommend this practice absolutely!

I saw Dr. Pope for years and years and loved him. Once he switched to My Eye Doctor and retired, Ive had nothing but poor experiences. Was fitted for glasses that didnt fit. I sat in an office for 3 hours waiting for an appointment that I had to schedule 5 months out. Im unfortunately going to transfer my services elsewhere. I really hope they get it together though. Its not that the staff is rude...theyre just unable to provide quality service.

Dr Yoakum was pleasant and the lady that takes your co-pay was okay. The rest of the attitudes in there really sucked. Waited 2 months for glasses that dont fit because nobody cared to try to adjust them. Never again....

Really? I read some of these reviews and had to respond. I have been seeing Dr. Pope for years. Never have my expectations not been exceeded by him and his staff. Yes, I have had to do my part for receiving rebates, just like anywhere else. .. A couple years ago, Dr. Pope found a spot in one of my eyes. The specialist he sent me to had a very hard time finding it with elaborate equipment. They praised him for seeing it without any special equipment. ... Everyone there has always gone above and beyond. I certainly wouldnt trust anyone else with my eyes.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Popes for a number of years, and hes always been professional and spot-on with his diagnosis. Two years ago I switched from contacts to glasses, but purchased them at Eyemart Express, which is where I planned on going again. Both young ladies (one of them being the manager) were delightful. I got a great deal on glasses AND sunglasses. Truly a great customer service experience which is rare these days. Thanks Thomasville staff!

Soo I got contact prescription and went with the deal of the 100$ in mainly and rebate, good services was fast, helpful.. however I received my contacts but no money with it, so I call to the store and asked the girl who answered the phone the whole deal wit that and she invites me to come to the store to get the cash back. Okay get to thit store and long story short, have to wait another week for my money that I had to pay upfront... I didnt wait weeks to pay yall so I dont expect to be paid 2 entire weeks later. Nobody also told me it wont be a check it comes on a card that you cant get cash off of just a visa gift card but th y couldnt do anything about it . Im upset cause its false advertisement! I wasted gas and time to get up and make a trip that wasnt needed when she was only gone do something online, I couldve saved time, gas, and etc if I wasnt told I could show up in person and get my money back. Seriously done with this place ... they didnt tell me none of that during check out about how the rebate would in form or how long that would take exactly. Im highly upset, the services the day of again were pretty decent however the after services were terrible due to that.
