The picture with the exit sign is where you turn right while walking, to see these doors. on the second picture which will get you in to a closer location from the parking garage. The parking garage is the farthest east in this mall. Go through the doors first floor turn right as you go through the doors a short jot. The reviews I read were spot-on. If you have to get your eyes checked before you get the glasses you have to go in through LensCrafters doors turn to the right and thats where you get seen for an eye check-up. Staff was friendly talkative direct you through the procedures well and explain Medical information well. I would go back I live in Vancouver Washington I made the drive because they had the best review. Doctor Elizabeth Davis was who I saw for the eyes and Whitney for the glasses.

April you are doing really good work. she greeted me almost immediately with a smile on her face. she seemed in really good spirits along with her other coworker. She provided exceptional customer experience by giving us undivided attention, kept us laughing the entire stay. I would highly recommend this store to family and friends.

Dr. Ogata was super fantastic as was the staff. The exam appt was efficient, easy and thorough. The retail part - which is unnerving because that’s where your money is spent - was even MORE fabulous. I caught them during a sale and bought new glasses. Dayana mentioned blue filters that were clear since I work in front of a computer all day. I dont see any yellow tint on the lenses, which is great, and my eyes have been feeling so much better. The store itself was very organized to accommodate the pandemic. All the staff wore masks, and they give you trays to hold your glasses.

I just had an amazing experience here at LensCrafters.. my little sister has been in the hospital for the last 29 days in Portland and I’m not from here and my contact lenses just couldn’t cut it anymore (or me taking care of myself just doesn’t cut it right now)… I came in today for some one hour lenses so that I could see the street signs in Portland and honestly everyone was amazing to me. I purchased a pair of eye glasses and sun glasses from another LensCrafters. After the third trip to this location to rectify issues, I subsequently discovered that my eyeglass frame was the wrong size.Not wanting to make a fourth trip to this location, I decided to visit the Washington Square location. Despite being incredibly busy, I was amazed at the prompt, friendly, attentive, and professional service. April went out of her way to make sure that I had a pair of glasses that were comfortable and looked good on me.Needless to say, I am exceptionally happy with this store and would not hesitate in the least in recommending it as the Portland area go to source for eye wear.

So now its been 32 days and still no word. They get 2 stars only because the employee, Brandon, called back after my meltdown on him. He did his best.

(No insurance)Buy from other online competitors, there is no reason to pay a huge premium for this dying brick and mortar experience, that gives you a significantly thicker/ overpriced lens compared to Zenni or Warby Parker.The employees at Washington Square were nice and professional, but I wont come back due to market issues described above.

I don’t typically leave reviews but I am very disappointed. I had purchased glasses online, received them yesterday (5-17-21) and loved them, but they were a little loose on my face. So I decided to stop by lense crafters at Washington square mall on 5-18-21. Lady was super helpful. Explained that I just wanted to get an adjustment. She took care of it very quickly! She gave them back to me, tried them on and the fit was much more secure! I noticed they seemed a little dirty and tried to wipe it off. Then to noticed both lenses towards the nose is insanely scratched! To my concern, I asked her if she used heat on the bridge of the frame to bend them. She said no and told me she also noticed that the lenses were scratched. She tried to tell me that they were already scratched when she got them! In the photo that I provided, you can clearly see that there was heat applied as the coating on the lenses had shrunken and damaged them. If you zoom in, you can see above the big scratches, the ripple affect of an object that was burned. I just picked them up in perfect condition yesterday. I walked out with disappointment because now I’m going to have to get new lenses. Being in business, this is extremely unprofessional work. The lady was nice, but she did not own up to her mistake of damaging my lenses, therefore my reasoning of leaving this review. Before getting an adjustment, take a picture of your glasses so you have proof in case they damage them and won’t admit to it!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The doctor listened closely to find out exactly what I needed from my glasses--lenses that allowed me to see multiple monitors top to bottom and still read papers on my desk--and then she explained the best options. I have risk factors for Fuchs Dystrophy, and she knew immediately what it was and how to screen for it. I also have a family history of macular degeneration. Retinal photos were included. They have been extra (out-of-pocket) at other places Ive had exams.

I needed new lenses, but wanted to keep my existing frames because there were still in pretty good shape and I like the style. Alison understood my motivation and made sure that everyone thing would work for me. I was very satisfied.

Mary at the Washington Square Mall location has excellent customer service! She answered the phone 15 minutes before they opened and helped me with a past receipt issue, and even helped me get a new pair of my glasses. Her care was beyond what I expected to receive. 100% recommend this location.

Im closer to the Tanasbourne location, but I checked the reviews first and decided to go out of my way to Washington Square. My entire experience was quick and lovely. I was able to get a same-day appointment, and I was done within an hour. My glasses were even ready that same evening.Receptionist Lady: Polite, friendly, and efficient.Assistant Lisa: A true joy to spend time with. She was so friendly and kind. And she didnt mind me geeking over the cool equipment. The pre-appointment testing was quick and easy.Dr. Davis: Super nice. Again, quick and easy for the eye exam.LensCrafters Ashley: I think shes my new best friend. lol. But she was also quick to get my prescription arranged, and I was able to reuse my existing frames.By the time I was done, I kinda didnt want to leave. Everyone was seriously so nice. AND they do good work. AND they take my vision insurance. It was worth the drive.

Staff here was great. My appointment git cancelled due t I a computer gulch but they took the time to get me in. The desk staff was patient and helpful. The person who took ne back for the initial exams was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. The doc was super awesome, explaining things and talking things through with me to make sure I understood what was going on. Then the floor staff when it came to choosing my frames Brandon and Chad were professional and friendly. They took the time to explain and talk over things with me. Process didnt feel rushed at all.

I dropped my own Ray-Ban sunglasses ( frame with lenses ) to put prescription lenses on it instead regular sunglasses lenses.They took the sunglasses lenses to put their prescription lenses, however they did shape some of my frame to remove or put the lenses. When I canceled my order because I don’t like their lenses I want to other optical shop to put lenses on my frame, I was told your frame is broken and we are not able to put lenses on it. I back again to LensCrafters and I told they that, their response was ohh, we r sorry 😏.Sorry it is not enough for me when you broke my frame. They only could to do to put my old sunglasses lenses back on my frame.I don’t recommend this place.

In my opinion the sales team lack the knowledge of products that are selling.They offered me one brand of progressive lenses which would cost an arm and leg, and that didnt make sense to me at first, so I decide to sleep on it, then I visited the store for a second time to see if I can find a glasses without breaking the bank, unfortunately employees were still unhelpful.So I decided to visit another Lenscrafters store where I met an employee who explained to me all about lenses, what they are made of, like the Polycarbonate, high index plastic and the famous brand Varilux, and finally the cost of each brand with my insurance...I purchased my frame and progressive lenses for a price that fit budget in half an hour. (Initial price quote from this store $425, I purchased frame and Progressive lenses from another lenscrafters for $165.)

I called to ask how much LensCrafters charges to measure my pupillary distance (PD). The associate told me they dont charge; however, they wont measure PD without an optometrist appointment. I already have a new prescription, just needed an accurate PD to confirm. With so many other choices to purchase glasses both around town and online, I will not be giving LensCrafters my business any longer. Used to be such a great and helpful store. Perhaps they should pay more attention to their Customer Service instead of their bottom line.

I wanted new lenses for some Puma Titanium frames I bought 10 years ago from LensCrafters. Rachael was pleasant and helpful, showing me a handful of thoughtful options. I’m very happy with my new lenses.

The team of amateurs. The technician broke my designer frame while checking if he could put new lenses in it. And when the salesperson brought the broken frame back to me she pretended that everything was fine. When I showed her the frame and asked her why it was broken she tried to tell me that it was this way.. My new perfect frame with the tags still attached. The technician came and started to play games with me as well. No apologies. The manager put on a blind eye and again: no apologies. The salesperson is a young woman in her twenties, the technician is a young man in his twenties. No experience at all! Please be aware!! Never again I will go to this store. Terrible. Inexperienced. Impolite and unapologetic staff.

I went in for a contact/glasses exam due to eye fatigue and received wonderful service from every staff member there. Despite the 3 star rating at the time of review I received what I felt was 5 star service. I called the day of and scheduled an appointment for later that day, no other doctor could schedule me same day which is why I took the gamble.The front desk associate was quick to get my information and have me fill out a form with a friendly face.The nurse? assistant? whatever... had me use several different eye machines and explained her process as she went and gave me information about what the machines were doing.Then the doctor took his time dialing in my vision like no other doctor before. Ive never been able to read the bottom line in the small text charts and he dialed it in after several retries. Every other doctor Ive been to, probably about 10, gave up. The doctor also noticed and described other issues my eyes were having and was blown away when I told him no other doctor had described those issues. These werent issues that were going to suddenly cost me more money, just information about how my vision works differently than others.After my exam was done I paid a decent amount. Honestly Ive paid less without insurance than they charged me with my insurance. But I dont care it was worth it to me to find a team like this.Finally there is that part after where you look at glasses. Nobody pushed me into it but I looked anyway. They had helpful sales staff that was not pushy but curious what I was looking for. They sell designer glasses and have prices to reflect that. They gave me this information as I was looking. I did not buy any that day but Ill likely go back just so I can give them more money.

Its a busy time as people want to get new frames, lens to use up their insurance benefits by the year end. Though this place was busy and only two gentlemen were handling the customers, they were very courteous and checking in on customers who were constantly coming in, while attending to others. I am blown away by the care and attention I received at LensCrafters at Washington Square Mall today. You know, glasses are going to hang on your face, and it isnt unreasonable to want glasses to enhance the way one looks. At the very least, glasses shouldnt make me look uglier than I already am. ;) They actually understand that.I was on a limited budget, only able to buy the cheapest lenses they had in stock, and in spite of that they took their time with me to make sure I would enjoy my glasses. This has been the best experience in buying glasses, and that is saying something.If you need an optometrist, I recommend Dale Ogata, next door to this LensCrafters. They ran every test imaginable to detect eye diseases or potential future problems. They can check your eyeball without dilating your eyes, which means you dont have to spend eight hours not being able to focus your eyes, or wear those huge glasses to protect yourself from light sensitivity.I got everything I needed in spades... in about an hour.

I was a walk in customer and from asking for an eye exam to walking out with my finished glasses was a little over two hours. Considering I came in at the tag end of lunch hour, I was very surprised and pleased.Optometrist was very efficient and had a pleasant personality. Sales rep was not pushy and understood my necessity for a budget.While not my first visit to LensCrafters, it was my first visit to the Tigard location. Kudos to the staff for being professional and courteous.

Their assistant manager interfered and became upfront and aggressive when i asked where i could do my eye exam and how much the 2 glasses and lenses would cost. She became pushy and offered me 50% discount if I buy the lenses and the frames today.I know lensecrafters and have dealt with them before however this branch needs to change their customer service attitude in order to be successful.

I don’t know how this business still exists. I am a client for 7 years, and I am hoping to find another way to order glasses. Their prices are insane. I was gong to order contacts other day, and the price for a box was $70, they are giving a discount if you buy annual supply, so the price drops to $50 per box. I googled the contacts and found it for $39 per box (at 3 different online stores!!!!), so I bought 6 months supply (free shipping, no fees, etc). The same with brand glasses. And a service is not that great. When you buy glasses they are polite, if you have a problem they aren’t.

I have a very difficult prescription. Had eyes checked by a new doc, he had it wrong, went for a re-check and still wrong. Then went to Dr. Ogata and he got it right the first time. Lenscrafters made me glasses 3 times total and always were professional, kind, and concerned that I got the right prescription. Excellent service by Lenscrafters and excellent eye exam by Dr. Ogata.

I wish i could give half a star. I had a very terrible customer service experience.The 1 star is for my first visit.They back-ordered me Frames which took a month to come in. They called me twice to pick up frame and luckily they left a voicemail for me and i spoke to one other person.2 day later i went to pick up my frames. The girl I met asked for my name and she went to the back room. She came back out and asked for my name again and checked on the computer and went back room again. Then an older lady came out to me to ask my name again, then i pointed to her computer and said its right there..Then a guy came out and said, why are you here to pick up a frames you already picked up..so i asked him, if i picked it up, why would you call me 2days before and left me a voice mail. he made me play him my voicemail, then he went back and came back with my frames and wanted to know why i ordered a replacement frames. I asked him why its any business of his. I paid for it..so i owe you no explanation. he refused to give me my glasses until i gave him a reason. then he proceeded to saying he wants to call the the guy who left me a voicemail to confirm. After spending 1hour here with all this nonesense, he had the nerves to say have a good dayI spent almost $500 in this store for this frames.My girlfriend was with me at the time and she saw first hand how blacks get treated at a retail store (she is white)I will never step foot in this place again, and i already discouraged my coworkers from going here who were shopping for places to go..So will I recomend this place to my worst enemy?? Purchased frames and lenses $$$ 9 months ago but now paint is peeling of the metal frame around the lenses - thing happen so I called the store back at Washington Square - was rudely told 30 day manufacturers warranty nothing they could do but did ask if I purchased the extended warranty (was never offered at time of purchase) when I told them no I was again told just 30 days manufacturers warranty and there was nothing they could/would do!Total lack of interest or customer service - did not suggest I come in so they could look or anything - it really felt like I was an inconvenience to them!! Spent my money and learnt my lesson- Will NEVER buy from them again - heading over to Visionworks to buy 2 new pairs of glasses!!

I am a repeat customer and wanted to get some different lens on my sunglass. I found out it is cheaper to buy a new sunglass with prescription then to put on your sunglass. This lady was helping me and told me she was the manager. As I was looking for a new sunglass so I can put prescription. This lady just got up and few minutes later and I found out she was going home. Then the general manager never said sorry and just told me that she went home. Wow I will take my money and my business to a different company. I was ready to buy. I am never going to LensCrafter!

I purchased progressive lenses & frames from them in May (I think). They were not right. They blamed it on my prescription so I went & had another eye exam. They still werent right had another exam at the optometrist next door to them. She suggested that I get a different lens. They said she didnt know what she was talking about. Got another set of lenses. I still had to increase the font size on my computer to read the screen. They kept saying, it takes about 30 days to get used to the new lenses. Progressive do take some time but I purchased 2 other set of glasses from 2 other places & never had these problems. The 3rd time I went in to get the new lenses she said my 90 day warranty had run out & I was stuck with them. In January 13 I went back in to have my glasses adjusted. The were digging into my nose because thats the only way I could see to drive. They have a new manager Catherine. She said if I wanted to pay the $25 for scratch replacement she would get a 4th lens an make it right. I said OK. It took 2 weeks to get them. I go to get the new lens put in my frame & she says 1 hr wait. WHAT. I have to walk around the mall for 1 hour with no glasses. I said ok, I hour only because I have to take my son to work & he needs to be picked up in Hillsboro at 4 pm. I am back at 3:20 & I never rec my glasses back until 3:45. Now my son is late for work. I have no time for her to adjust the frames. She could have had this done in 15 min since I have already been thru enough for these $670 glasses. No customer service. I still have to set the font high to read my computer which I need for work 6 hrs a day. No customer service, no experience with progressive lenses. This is my 3 set of progressive lenses & never had this problem before. If you are just getting regular lenses maybe they would be OK, but nothing that needs real experience. Kelley, Mgr was horribly unprofessional--they actually had someone elses prescription in my records??? No apology, no acknowledgement or regard.
