My kids had a blast and I have to admit I had more fun than I thought I would building my Boba Fett bear, Benny Fett. Lots of Disney and Harry Potter themed bears as well as bunnies and dragons.

We went to B.A.B at Washington Square mall, and they were wonderful. Doing their part to keep everyone healthy. Lots of inventory and great sales. My 3 year old niece made a Kitty, and we bought some clothes for her as well. Great time.

I dont come here often. But every time I do, everyone is extremely kind and sweet. They always help me with whatever I need.

Cute place and short term entertainment for the kiddos but this place is expensive. If you plan on dressing and accessorizing the stuffed animal don’t be surprised if it’s $60+

Our children grew up on this place. We have so many great memories both in making and bringing home special friends. Even now, it is wonderfully nostalgic to visit from time to time and create a special gift.

Love this place, staff are soo nice. But slow! Take the time with the kiddos, but those of us just in to buy a gift? Need to speed up/multi-task.

I got a little overwhelmed and decided to stop here. Everyone was really nice and we had great conversations when I made my bear and found it a outfit.

I have been coming to this location since I was 10 years old. I am now 26, and I have never had a bad experience here!Some people are complaining about the price, but that’s what you get with a specialty store. You are paying for the experience!I went there today because my boyfriend and I broke up and I needed a distraction. The employees were wonderful and made me feel so much better! Thank you so much for improving my day. You’ll always have me as a customer!

My daughter had fun and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Not gonna lie the items seemed way overpriced for the value, I mean it’s just stuffed animals for goodness sakes. But how about the clothes and accessories some of it cost more then a full tank of gas which could be between $45 to $65+ for some cars how nuts. Anyways long story short way overpriced!

As always a fun place to go for kids. I do think their prices have been raised since I was there last. Expect to pay a lot even just for a bear shirt and shoes, but workers make it a memorable experience. Every kid ends up feeling very special.

I have wanted to go to Build a Bear since I was a little kid, but we didnt live close enough to go. Fast forward 15 years- I just had my first experience last weekend when I went in to bring my Light Fury to life! I love her, and I just went back to get Toothless this evening. Great staff that care about your experience- they were kind to me, and I saw a few kiddos on both visits having a great time! Thanks, I will be back in the future. :)

Amazing staff and great experience! We took our daughter to build a couple of My Little Pony babies to celebrate her 3rd birthday. We first joined the build-a-bear club online, so she got a sweet little birthday surprise as well when we went in (sticker and birthday bear for $3)! We were delighted that the My Little Pony dolls were on a 2 for $35 special (we expected to pay full price of $29 each, so yay!) and she got an additional birthday bear for $3 (pay the childs age)! So, THREE amazing dolls for under $40. A wonderful value. While there, our daughter was pretty skeptical of the stuffing machine, so she kept her distance while I had them made. Its a super cute experience however, as you get to place a tiny stuffed heart into each doll and make a wish before its made. Afterwards, you can create birth certificates for free for each doll. The staff were so friendly and outgoing and made sure everyone had a great time! While it can quickly get expensive with the many accessories, we opted not to get those this time. All of the kids in the store seemed to have a great time and well return next year!

Staff was amazing with our 15 month old! She helped him stuff his stuffy and was super cute to see him put his heart in his creation! Our 6 year old had a blast with his first bab! The selection has grown so much not just bears anymore!!

I hadnt been in many years, but our 8 year old wanted to go for her birthday.From the time we walked in until we left, it was all smiles for her. And that was the case with every kid in there. The staff made it a memory that will last a long time. Granted, they are great salesmen, but I felt as though our daughters experience was personal to them. So Im thankful to them for being a special part of our daughters special day.

We always love to go to BAB. This trip was awesome. My daughters Bowser was being difficult but your staff was amazing. They sent us on to take care of the birth certificate and looking for clothes will they did some minor surgery. I love they way they handled this.

Definitely overpriced, but sometimes they have decent sales that make them slightly more reasonable for a special gift. The staff is usually friendly and kids live getting to make their own special friend. If there is a specific one you or your child is after, especially for one of the sales or events, it may be worth it to look online or call first as some are online or in store only specials.

Me and my daughter always enjoy going in there a. Making a bear every single time period and have a wonderful time doing it. And there is something in all price ranges for people.

Its a magical idea for children, money trap for parents. Theyre literally just stuffed animals you have to stuff yourself... I think the only reason I would do this is if I wanted an easy birthday activity and gift in one.

I went for the first time a while ago and it is a magical experience to have. The whole experience and all the options are so amazing! I got one of the girl scout bears, the smores one. And I added the cupcake smell which is so good, also got the beating heart and the heart ritual was amazing too!

I have to say the girls here are very friendly that helped my family!!Except for one, she was training a very friendly girl that was checking us out. Unfortunately, we were overcharged and when I made the the cashier(who was in training)aware she stepped up and said that she was sorry and that she would refund my card. Her trainer was VERY rude to her as she was going through the process of the refund. The trainer was NOT training her but demeaning her as she tried so very hard to understand what her trainer was telling her to do. I wish I would have gotten names....

We came in today for the first time. It was my sons birthday and we told the employees that. They treated him like a king right off the bat! Every employee was so kind and helpful, they made sure we were being taken care of and it was busy in there. They had a lot of people to help, and they were so great with everyone. I was so impressed and thankful for this great experience. Thank you to everyone! ! Build a Bear should be proud of the people who represent them. They even gladly had everyone sing the Birthday song to my son. He was grinning from ear to ear. :) Well be back!

Bought my son a bear for his birthday...kinda wish the gal hadnt been in a hurry to get it done, my son was only just turning one! But for what you pay to make a bear and dress it up, youd hope they would hire phenomenal kid-friendly employees.

This is a great family activity! Kids can create and personalize their own stuffed toy! I got a $10 gift card for $5 with a purchase of $30!My kiddos love this place!

My kids and I LOVE Build a Bear, but we really dont like the new store design and layout. The previous was more accessible for the disabled and my kids really miss the Bath Tub Blow dryers. Now its not as fun anymore and even with only a couple other people in store we always feel like were bumping into something or someone.

Nice place! Staff were nice as well. Wish there was a little bit more variety but all in all, a nice place to go to for any age!

My son loves coming here and bringing his friends to life with thehelp of the super friendly staff. The prices can be really high but we buy online when there are sales ahead of time and it helps to mitigate the financial burden (were pretty low income). He was disappointed to find that Washington Square location doesnt have the area to bathe his friends in like Clackamas does but he still had a great time thanks to the wonderful staff. We love to come in during slow times as it can get rather crowded and crazy sometimes and its a bit much. Overall we always have a great experience and will be coming back thru the years. I definitely recommend Build a Bear to anyone who has littles that love having special friends, big people too!
